Needed to make a change on my policy and was able to complete this with the office with no problems. Kim, Charles and Lisa are always available and able to help with my insurance needs. I called them regarding switching my policy from Florida to Va. I made sure to ask Lisa Johnson that works with Charles Graham agency, if it was okay to keep my Florida registration. I was told it was totally okay, as long I had my husband on the insurance policy and sent my verification of military ID and my husbands civilian ID.I ended up getting a Six months policy, as I always did for the last few years. Newport News, has a massive population of Military personnel, and they have zero clues. I also asked, and I did my Research with Florida.- which you can keep everything as a military personnel.I got the policy on 11/16/2020; the first hiccups I got notified in the mail my insurance was canceled because of my “low” credit score in January. I called customer service and was told it was a glitch and apologized. I received from from their agency about canceling my policy for some other random reason.I receive a mail on 02/16/ 2021 from the Florida motor vehicle department. My registration was going to be suspended on 02/24/2021 because they were notified I no Longer had insurance.I Spoken to Lisa, and she was very nonchalant, and verbatim told me, “the military personnel should know, and I wouldnt know what to do more and As a short term, get a Florida policy.” than hung up on me. I was very polite because as a college student, I have worked in customer service, so I try to be nice, but Lisa was super passive. I had her on speaker while my husband was listening, and she told me honestly, this makes him question Allstate all together. Really, Florida policy? Zero accountability and wouldnt switch me to anyone else there and verbatim told me at one point “transfer you to whom exactly, there is nothing we can do.” clearly I wanted to talk to a manager.I am beyond baffle; and you lost a great customer, and we were even considering getting our home insurance with them. It just left a bad taste in our mouth. I’m switching Agent ASAP. Be more knowledgeable next time. Also, I was told I would get a student discount, but made excuses after I paid. When I was told as long I sent my school transcript, which I did couple of days later. At first, I was told all this discount, even a military discount, which was taken back later.-that is not a thing.My experience is beyond poor, and if you are military family, stay away. Though I wanted to Keep Allstate after I got married, since I had a great experience in the past. But this left a bad taste In my mouth.
