I tried to get information on why my policy had increased. I called on 9/1/2021 at 12:17, when I could not log in to our account, that we have had for almost 20 years, they said they had to contact Hartford, I was told that a Miller was on our account an had changed our email and password, I was told to call back and they would see what they could do .I call at 4:52 and was told that I needed to talk to a Ms. S. Winn and that she was in a meeting. I called 9/2/2021 and was told that Ms. Winn was there an they would talk to her, an that she had left for the afternoon the prior day, an that she would call me back. On 9/3/2021 at 1:17 I called an got Ms. Winns answering machine, I left a message. 4:30 I called again with no answer, I punched O for the switch board and the machine transferred me to a Fredricksburg agent, Ms. Becky Uhlman, she said she would contact Hartford an call me back today, she also gave me her direct number, at 5:10 Ms. Uhlman called and explained to changes and the reason why, she also told me how to reduce the fees on the account. I thank her for her courtesy and help. I am still waiting for a reply from Ms. Winn, who is suppose to be my agent, it is now 9/8/2021.
Mr. Blanchard and his team provides great service. I have enjoyed working with them for the past 2 years.
I was not in 15 years informed they didnt have a flood height certificate which was done and available. It cost me an extra 2000+ a year to the tune of 20 to 30 thousand. They were not very cooperative in correcting it.
