Nick did an outstanding job reviewing my homeowners and life policies this year. A few years ago I made the switch from USAA to Nick Rowan State Farm because the value and service he provided made me feel confident in my decision. Yes, I paid a slight amount more than USAA, but my coverages were increased and my deductible was lowered. He responds to my questions in a timely manner and isn’t an overly pushy sales person. He feels like a colleague in an industry I am not knowledgeable in. Highly recommend to friends in the area.

Mr. Rowan is the most un-professional, un-personable, lackluster individual I have ever ran across in a customer service / sales position. I would equate his demeanor to that of the stereotypical shady used-car salesman.I rarely feel the urge to write a review about a company or service, but in my very short time observing his behavior - I immediately had to search the name and company / location to make sure this was a real person and not a joke. I just ran across these google reviews and could not help myself.He is so un-professional and discourteous, it has become a running joke to mimic his emails and speech the last few days.

1/4/2021,Unfortunately Nick Rowan has provided Substandard customer service.He did not update my New car insurance policy after being notified of the purchase. He sent temporary Ids that were for the 10 year old car I traded in.When I called him about this he apologized and said he would take care of it and not to worry. The paperwork must have crossed. So I waited I thought all was well. Then the DMV sent me notice that my license was in jeopardy of being suspended for lack of insurance.Called Nick back this time I was upset. He apologized again up and down convincing me he would completely resolve the problem.At work Jan 4th 2021 I got a call from my supervisor, he told me to come in that the city had noticed that my driving license was suspended. Arriving at the office He told me that I could not return to work until my driving privileges had been re-instated. I cannot get into DMV without an appointment. March 4th 2021 was the earliest I could get. Now the Issue is keeping my job because driving is a big part of my job.Now Nick is denying any wrong doing. I have complained to state farm. Next will be a complaint to DPOR His Licensing agency with the State of Virginia. After which The Virginia Corporation insurance commission.Just stay away.
