I have been a resident for over six years and couldnt be more happy with my home at Newport Ridge Apartments. It is very beautiful, peaceful, safe and accommodating. The Leasing office staff and support are consistently accessible, kind, caring and able to expediently resolve any issue or request in a professional and positive manner. They take pride in maintaining a high satisfaction level for their residents. I truly love it here and highly recommend it to others.
Matthew was very efficient, friendly, it was a pleasant experience I got everything done that I needed, thank you Matthew.
I have had all great experiences with maintenance requests. Technicians and office staff have been quick to respond with courteous, safe, and effective results.
I’ve lived here for 4 years now and love this community. I renew year after year because the staff is outstanding. Recently, I needed my washer serviced and Jamie, our Community Manager, and Rob, Maintenance Manager coordinated with an outside vendor to have it repaired. After vendor serviced the washer it began making a loud rattling noise. I called and requested maintenance to come and inspect it. Luis and Kyle came right away and determined it was missing a screw after the vendor worked on it. Within 15 minutes the problem was fixed.I love calling this place home. I know if I have an issue that it will be addressed in a timely fashion. All the staff are friendly, attentive and professional.
The apartment itself has an amazing view with lots of greenery and trees. The studios have a little den for the bed area, which gives it a cozy, nook kind of feel. And the Back Bay is just a walk down the hill, perfect for running, biking, walking, etc.
Matthew is polite, honest, hard working, efficient and always on time. We can count on him, he genuinely CARES about his work and ensuring that we are happy in our apartment home. Good job Irvine Company on hiring Matt for the maintenance team.
The team at Newport Ridge is really great. The first storm of the season came in this weekend and the heater wasnt working. In less than 30 minutes of making a request for service, Matthew was at my home and had the problem fixed in under 15 minutes. Outstanding service. Thank you!
Just want to give a great review for the responsiveness of one of their maintenance reps, Matthew! He’s always quick, polite and helpful. Excellent follow through each time I’ve contacted him.
Newport Ridge Apartment Homes is a premiere housing development, located in the most beautiful part of Southern California. The apartments are very well maintained, the public areas are beautiful, the complex is centrally located to every convenience; freeways, shopping at Fashion Island & South Coast Plaza, a short bicycle ride to the beach and local 5* restaurants. The management and sales personal are very accommodating and willing to serve. Once you have rented, you will stay because you will Love Where You Live.
Amazing community to live at! Maintenance is awesome and they are always on time, clean and professional. Rob the Maintenance Manager is the best and always takes care of us whenever we need anything.
It’s a good place to live, but only when there will be all construction done. You will not get even enough sleep if you work till late, you will not find a parking spot if you come home late. Good apartments, but the environment that all this construction making are awful. If you need a quite place - Newport Ridge Apartments not your place.

Victor R. Is above and beyond the best maintance guy ever!! He makes me love living here!
Love living here, the maintenance staff here is the best. Matthew is always a pleasure to have in our home, always respectful and quick.
I am so thankful for Matthew he is very professional, kind and goes above and beyond to be helpful. Same goes for Victor, they both are an asset to the Maintenance Dept. here. I am loving the new office staff Danielle, Codi and the entire team. They make it so you dont feel like you live in an Irvine Company property it feels like a community. So thank you all! You are appreciated.
I believe the guys name was Matthew very quick and very fast has great customer service thank you.
Shantel, Aylin and the Newport Ridge team have been great in arranging a property for us in a wonderful community while helping us settle back in CA. Sterling job and big thanks.

5 star Review for Victor and Matthew From the maintenance team. This maintenance team is beyond 5 stars, they will be at your door sometimes within a a couple hours of your request, always respectful and fix anything within minutes. This is a great place to live with a great staff.
We enjoyed living at Newport Ridge, especially the excellent maintenance response. Beautiful community. We used our apartment as a summer residence for several years, then moved into it full time in 2018. The pool noise could get loud at times; we lived next to the pool on the third floor, but that would be my only real complaint. I truly dont get the negative reviews- definitely not our experience.
Best staff of any place I have EVER lived..Special thank you to Sara Dowling and Kenley Cummings for all the help this Holiday weekend and the awesome maintenance guys too!extra thankfulKimberly
Beautiful Property ! Matthew from maintenance is great !
I used to be a resident there and moved for work. LOVED living there. Even as a nonresident their customer service is amazing. I recently had a package accidentally delivered to my previous apartment and the Resident Relations team was so helpful in getting the package to me at my new home. You dont get this kind of service everywhere...
I have lived at Newport ridge apartments for the past 13 months. The apartment itself could use some updates but the service and staff is what earned this place my 5 stars. We had to put in a number of service requests and they were answered promptly and affectively. I had worked with Ryanna and Julian to move in and they were great. I worked directly with an employee named Codi Clausen throughout the majority of my time there and she was absolutely exceptional. She was there to answer every question I had with a smile on her face. At one point of me living there, I had a number of concerns with an issue I was having there. Codi resolved the issue immediately and grew to be someone I was extremely comfortable with and knew that with her professionalism and genuine concern, I was in good hands and so was every other resident there. Specically working with Codi and Ryanna throughout my time is what warranted my 5 stars. If your looking for a place, seek them out and youll be satisfied. And for the Irvine company, count your blessings and sincerely, I hope you recognize codi and the rest of your team for there exceptional work.
Buyer beware! I would give this place a negative 10! The place is such cheap construction, you can hear absolutely everything! It makes it really uncomfortable! The office manager is extremely rude, also it takes then forever to respond to maintenance request. They put extremely cheap appliances and carpet as well! I never write bad reviews, however I wish I would have been warned about this place!
An excellent place to live! The Irvine Company is kind and considerate. Be friendly to them and they bend over backwards to help you out as well.
RENTAT YOUR OWN RISK. We lived here for a year and while I agree that the location and amenities are nice, know that you are renting from the Irvine Company who, contratrary to what the other reviewer said, are far from considerate or compassionate. We ended up paying almost a months rent in fees when we moved out. Charges to repaint walls which were offered to us complimentary when we moved in, carpet cleaning and an overall cleaning fee. While we lived there, there was a plumbing issue in our building requiring workers to be in our apt for 5 days from 8-5. Not only did we have to clean out all of our kitchen cabinets but we couldnt be in the apt (nor could our pets) while they were there. I work from home so this was a huge problem. No compensation was offered. Only after a lawyer friend of mine told me that was illegal and helped me push back were we offered compensation.Moral of the store, Irvine Company will push the grey area as far as they can and take what they can from you. Be savvy and go in knowing what you will pay in the end.
Since this last review and Danielle Radon lying directly to me and involving the General Manager Monchette Monshietehadi. Danielle and office staff have created 3 noise complaints and sent us a 3 day comply or quit letter. They never notified us of complaints and are trying to set us up for a eviction regarding noise my 2 1/2 year old son makes during day to day activities. This has become discriminatory and Danielles actions are illegal. This is not the place to live. They will try and manipulate facts and use the law to administer a eviction because of our review. Im taking the time to explain our situation so that nobody else will be manipulated or burned by the big Irvine Company machine.I have contacted their lawyer and they would have to prove decibel noise from a 2 1/2 year old that would never fly. They have now made our living conditions intolerable and we walk on egg shells because of the poor quality of construction and insulation between the levels. When we originally moved in, we asked about the noise in between the walls and the said, Apartment living is noisy. Now they want my 2 1/2 year old not to play in his own house. Theyve also registered complaints on when I can and cant take showers in my own home. My 2 1/2 year old has been refrained from being a 2 1/2 year old because of these egregious complaints. This is the only game in town if you want to live in a apartment in Newport Coast. After our experience, we would gladly pay $4,000 a month to live in a rented house rather then be targeted, discriminated against and ultimately try and be evicted for leaving a yelp review.I filed a HUD complaint for discrimination and filed a complaint with the Rental Protection agency.DO NOT LIVE @ Newport Ridge Apartments - You have been warned!
So I have lives for Irvine company on and off and I like this community bc super quiet. The maintanance team is awesome, Victor and Adrian came to my rescue yesterday and went above and beyond and this is one reason why I do appreciate this place...no hime is perfect, all residences have someone or something going on but ultimately I like this community as one of Irvine’s best
BEWARE - RENT AT YOUR OWN RISKWe have liver her for close to 2 years and have had a good experience to this point. On Oct 21, one of our neighbors dragged his garbage from his garage to his front door leaving behind a trail of alcohol, soda and complete filth. I called the corporate office and explained I had a 2 year old and that this was unacceptable. The following Monday, I spoke with the apartment manager, Danielle Radon. She said that they were planning on pressure washing the whole complex and she would call and let me know when that happens. I asked her please review the property and let me know if this is satisfactory to wait until the pressure washing crew or this was something that needed to happen immediately. I waited for her call. NOTHING!!The following week on the 30th, after talking with the maintenance mgr and him definitely saying this needed to be taken care of immediately. I went to the office. The staff was in a meeting and afterwards as evryone dispersed and discussing my situation with Ahmed (leasing Consultant). I asked where is the manager. Danielle pops out of a room and says, Im the manager. I asked her why she did not call me after she said she would. First thing out of her mouth is another lie, I did, she said. This women really tried to belittle me and lie. I told her No, she didnt and obviously I wouldnt be down here if you did. After she acknowledged her lie, I repeated to voice my disgust. She said if IO raised my voice again, she would ask me to leave. I kindly asked for her bosss name and number and left the facility. Her tone changed when she knew i would be notifying her bosses. She then told me she had our buildings date changed from December to next Wednesday. She tried talking down to me, and creating a situation where she was the hero for getting the date changed. 1 lie to late.I called the corporate office of the Irvine company and I spoke with a Michael Nelson. I asked immediately to speak with Danielle Radons boss. He said he works closely with the leadership team which means nothing more then he is another buffer. After explaining everything to him and he also agreeing that this needs to be addressed and this will be looked at by leadership team. he would call me with update. He called me 3 days later the 4th Nov and he said, sorry the best we could do is next Wednesday which we both already knew. He did nothing and then rather saying he worked closely with the leadership team, I asked what was his job title. He said customer service agent. What a joke. We pay close to $3,000 a moth to live in a apartment with filth created directly in front of our apartment and the management doing absolutely nothing about it.I wish somebody would have warned me about their experience before we moved in.i would give 0 (zero) stars if i could!@!!
I lived in this community for 1 year. I would not recommend you rent here based on the following reasons: (i paid $2050 for a plan F: 2 bed/2bath 1/15/12 - 1/15/13)1. our apartment would fill with the smell of smoke every day because the apt below us would smoke on their patio and the smoke would blow all around the courtyard and into ours - I was told by mgmt to shut my windows and that I was not alone in my frustration, others had complained of the same thing and because the property is not a non smoking community there was nothing they could do but suggest I close my windows and run the AC.2. be prepared to call for a maintenance request a min of 2 times.. sometimes 3. they often do not answer the phone in the office during the day and if you dont get a live person the msg will likely go unreturned. at least that was my experience on at least 3 occasions. for example the light was out at my front door for at least 3 weeks.3. pool is supposed to be heated.. but it was always too cold even in the summer months for our family to enjoy.4. move out: they will likely try to up charge you carpet and cleaning move out costs.. i was charged $600 for carpet replacement because I was told they found urine on a scan that was done. I do not have a pet as I am very allergic and I can assure you I did not urinate on the floor. I was offended to say the least, the urine comment was eventually retracted and I was told it must have been something else in one of 4 calls Ive had so far trying to figure this out but it has been nightmare thus far.oh and how could I forget... the barking dog5. loud big barking dog in what was supposed to be the no pets section of the property.. I was told this dog was an exception because it is a service animal of some kind and it was not supposed to be on the patio. though when its barking would wake my son from his nap it sure sounded like it was outside.overall, the place is just sub par at best.. I had to request the stairs leading up to my apartment be swept because there were spider webs on the hand rails and dead leaves collecting.it was just not the kind of class I would expect for the price and location. and speaking of type of people who rent here - apparently that is questionable as well. I was told the 2 men who lived in my very apartment before me were evicted because they were growing marijuana. I could go on and on about my disappointment, but I have at least outlined the big stuff.
Maintenance team is great
Newport Ridge is an awesome place to live I have zero complaints.
This is the BOMB of all that we saw!!!!
