I had a great experience with them. All the staff was friendly and so helpful during the check in and check out process. They remembered us on the way back and it was refreshing to see a friendly face. The manager was also very friendly and helpful. Couldnt have asked for better service! This is our second time with silver car and it was worth it both times. The car was very smooth and was just as you would expect from driving an Audi. We enjoyed having Sirius XM in the car. It made the drive that much better, especially in those areas where cell service wasnt available. Another positive addition to the car was the WiFi. That helped us out numerous times on our trip. Serious, a life saver! We would definitely rent them again in city if available. Thank you so much for everything team! Keep it up!
Disappointing customer service. Arrived at this location, waited for more than hour only to be turned down. The employees dont care and the customer service is useless..

If I were able to give zero stars I would.IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, Go with the big rental companies. This company picks and chooses who they rent to. If you don’t fit the profile they WILL cancel your services with no notice.(I had a reservation and received a notification to pick up rental on DAY OF RESERVATION, only to be told at the location my reservation was canceled)The staff at this location is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered in the auto rental industry, (I rent a lot of cars for business).Bottom line is: they claim to be a different rental company and they are, just not in a good way.The vehicles are the only thing they have that is good. Everything else Horrible.
Car was great, but the shuttle service wasn’t: it took 45 minutes to get to the airport after I returned the car. Then after racing through the airport to make up for their lost time I saw I was charged $17 for gas—despite having filled up my tank 5 minutes from their lot.
Never been easier.. Excellent customer service, Beautiful car, Fast and efficient.. Loved that he made sure it was me renting the car with me needing different proof of residence and forms of IDSome would mind.. I do not.. too many people

Generally they are great. Cars are phenomenal but they need to figure out a better system of transport from terminal to rental car pickup location. The train is great (avis, hertz, etc use it). If theyd relocate... 5 stars!FYI I waited 30 minutes to catch the bus to the rental car. The whole process was 45 minutes+ from exiting the terminal to driving off in the rental car.

First time and the service was outstanding. So easy to use. Located in Wally Park. Adjacent to DoubleTree and Ramada. There are only silver Audi A4s and they are in excellent condition. GPS and Sirius included. We were helped by Jessie as this was our first time. She was incredibly friendly and funny. I highly recommend this for anyone who is self sufficient, with a little common sense and wants a nice car for a reasonable price.
Great vehicles but poor service In this location. Waited 20+ minutes for shuttle. Rental counter far from airport and in a seedy part of town. Rude and inattentive employees at pick up & drop off. Silvercar is a great service but avoid this location.
Used this Silvercar station a few times and I have never had a bad experience.
The old location was hard to find inside an off-site airport parking lot. The new location is in the middle of nowhere in a kind of bad neighborhood. I only rent from here when there is a promotional rate and when the big name rental places rates are too high. Your experience is pretty consistent as there are only two models available for rental similarly equiped.
I came from LA to Newark. I made the reservation a month ago. I followed instructions as described with the silvercar application unfortunately they made me wait 1 hour at the airport. I called and texted them multiple times, however there was no respond and that was more frustrating
Didn’t get a 2017 Audi A4 but got a 2016 and it was still a great and fun experience. Will definitely rent with this company again!
Best car rental hands down! No lines, paperwork or people trying to upsell you. Fully loaded car even comes with wifi if you need it. And these cars are Audis need I say more
Rented a car late June and early July 2019 for business. Great car by Audi. Had satellite radio and a toll transponder. Easy pick-up and drop-off from the airport. Pretty much a paperless transaction. Staff were great. I will use them on my next trip to Newark.Update October 1st, 2019. A great place to rent a car. Easier then most of the EWR guys. Car return and ride to airport takes less time than from the on property folks. Silvercar is my GoTo for EWR.
Terrible customer service. I shortened my 5 day reservation to a 4 day reservation and they tacked on $100 to the price. The manager seemed to think he was doing me a favor. No thank you. Go elsewhere and get there faster by not having to deal with an offsite bus from snap parking.

Pickup was fast as long as you can find your way around the EWR airport and can find the right shuttle to transport you to the off-terminal facility. 20 minutes from picking up my bags to sitting in my rental.Pros: The Audi A4 was an excellent car: luxurious, roomy, clean, 30 mpg, and nimble. It was flashing several headlight malfunction warnings and oil change alerts, but they did not severely impact usability. The car had ~9500 miles on it.Cons: Drop off must be improved: No employees were on-site for ~35 minutes, resulting in confusion for all of the customers meandering around the lot.I was charged for refueling + convenience fee despite filling up the tank. I reached out to support and have not heard back in over 2 weeks.Notes that may help the next renter:My total drop off to airport time was 35 min wait + 15 min shuttle wait + 10 min ride to my terminal.If you can’t find a Silvercar representative on-site during drop off: (per Silvercar customer service) lock the car and leave the key with the Wallypark attendant.

I travel on a regular basis and always rent from Silvercar whenever possible. While my experience with every other Silvercar location I have rented from ( Miami, SF, Denver, Chicago) has always been 5 stars- the Newark location is by far the worst service.. It seems to take up to 30 minutes for the shuttle to arrive once it’s dispatched. Sadly, I am reconsidering renting with Silvercar this next time I fly to Newark.

Check in procedure was painful. There was no proper landmark or sign board provided.
Never renting from here again. Made reservation, denied car. Plus having to take the shuttle is not worth it. Its a little shack in a remote lot, stick with companies that know what they are doing

The manager here (Nick) is very helpful! The employees are nice but they arent given the power to really help the customer, so you have to ask for the manager if they tell you they cant do what youre asking, because it seems the manager here is the only person who has any power, but once they hand you over to him he is absolutely fantastic and a really understanding guy who really seems to care. My car was wonderful, the tires were in good condition on my car unlike the other reviewer noticed in his situation. The only issue I had at all with the vehicle was the windshield washer fluid it was filled with, it froze on the windshield the second I tried to use it. I ended up just squirting all of it out during the warmer part of the day and stopping by Walmart and grabbing a bottle of proper de-icer fluid. I told Nick about this when returning the car and he truly seemed like he actually cared and took note of it to look into higher quality fluid. Definitely would go with silvercar again for sure! Even if this location has been slightly Jersey-ified as someone else said, Ill still be coming here instead of the normal airport car rental thieves. Yes, you have to ride a shuttle at this location, but youd have to ride a shuttle for any other Rental company... And yes, the cars are last years model with Illinois plates, but seriously Ill take a 2015 Audi A4 anyday over a brand new 2017 Nissan Versa Note. Oh and I just want to note that my car was completely damage free, even the rims were perfect and scratch free... Not to mention they dont nickel and dime you on fuel/tolls/etc...
