On a recent trip to the New Jersey area we secured a car rental from the Enterprise, Newark Airport [building25] location and we were pleasantly surprised at the ease of check in and professionalism of the team. Team member DEREK was welcoming, kind and helpful as he directed us to our vehicle and made clear of all of our options. The ease of getting our vehicle promptly was refreshing. Check out at the exit gate with DEBORAH (sp?) was exceptional. She was friendly and upbeat as she sent us on our way. Thank you for this terrific customer service

Im fine with the airport service however you, like other car rental companies are short on staff. Both of my recent rentals (Phoenix [10 days] and Newark [16 days]) I had to wait for over 15 minutes to be serviced. In Newark, the Alamo rep ended up helping me. Please call and ask some of your former workers who were laid off last year to come back to work.Also, I was recently charged a $.35 (35 cents) toll with a $4.00 service charge. The toll in New York state is no longer there. I could see getting this charge on something significant like $20 in toll charges but 35 cents. Really? My total rental on the car was over $2,000.I have a total of 26 days rented in 2021 but only get credit for the two rentals. I think you should go by rental days in your upgrade promotions. I have another week coming up. If all goes well, I will continue with Enterprise. If not, I might switch to a different car agency.

The Enterprise Team at Newark did an amazing job. Their great customer service was evident even before I arrived in NJ. I had to call to adjust the pick-up time due to flight schedule. They were ready friendly and courteous. In spite of my flight delay, they were efficient and helpful when I arrived. The vehicle I received was in excellent condition and clean. When I had a question, after I left Enterprise, they responded to my emails quickly and graciously. Upon my return the staff was helpful and friendly.From pickup to drop off, the Enterprise Team was professional and supportive. Kudos to this team.

Amazing experience. My flight was hours late coming into Newark, and Enterprise stayed open until after midnight allowing me to retrieve my rental car at 12:40am. The rep walked me to the available cars and I chose a brand new Toyota Camry. I would have had no other options for transportation to my destination that night, without this fantastic customer service effort. Thank you Enterprise!!!

Terrible customer service - probably the worst experience Ive ever had anywhere. Dealing with the employees made me very angry but I held back and was very respectable. When we switched the rental car, they could not even tell us rates.... if I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever.

It was the easiest rental experience I had with Enterprise. It was my 1st time renting at the airport and I had a feeling it was going to be a mess, with all the chaos at the airport itself, but renting a car was the easiest part of the trip. This was also the 1st time I had an issue (Sirius satellite not working for the first few days). I was so impressed by the response I got both with phone calls and emails with your staff trying to help. And then when I dropped off the car, Robert was amazing hearing about the radio issues and solving it immediately. Great job guys!!!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Enterprise for 3 years, but it’s time to switch to another rental agency. they lied to me about the rates and told that the milage was unlimited. at the end I was charged extra $123. and they even calculated it wrong and charged me for extra 492 miles, but I drove “extra” 342.the customer support is not very helpful as well, I called them twice and they transferred my issue to the office where I rented. the agent Amanda from the office called me at 10.30pm waking up me and my whole family.absolutely unacceptable behavior, please teach your agents good manners and etiquette. no one can call their customers after working hours.

I usually do not have any problems with any Enterprise location. But this last time...Oh boy...I was happy with the service when I picked up and dropped off the vehicle. However, when I left a bag in the vehicle and inquired about it the next day, I kept getting the run arounds, never got to speak to a live person. Completed the form online, received a reference # via text, it has now been a week, no communication- email, call, or text. When I call, Im on hold for over an half hour, nothing. I can not even talk to a live person at that location. The website is useless because it does not list any lost luggage, which we know is a lie. Use with caution.

Everything about my recent rental car experience with Enterprise was smooth and easy. The staff were friendly and efficient, only a short wait time to pick up my vehicle. The car was clean, provided a smooth and comfortable ride and did well on gas. Dropping off the car was also very easy and quick. I was very happy beginning to end!

We rented a mid-size sedan (Hyundai) for five days while staying in New Jersey. The rental pick up at Newark Airport went smoothly and we were off with our car which worked great the entire time. The vehicle was clean and met all of our needs. We used an entire tankful driving from Newark to Trenton and back. Well definitely keep renting from Enterprise.

Was sent here after my 1st pickup location closed early, had reservation change to a location 30 min furthers to get a call saying they didnt have a vehicle for us, called customer service again now missing a day and a half of my vacation and they send me to the airport which is an hour a way I get here they are adding an additional 20% hold cus Im not an incoming flight which drives the price past my credit cards max and they will not take my debt card even after I tell them about the first 2 reservations and tell them they can keep the security deposit I dont want it back I want a vehicle to get on my vacation, they cant help me, corporate says they cant help me, so thank you enterprise Ive spent $8k on rooms reservations and passes for this vacation made my reservation for this vehicle 2 months in advance and now I cant go on anywhere. Some customer service some company, I only use enterprise my girlfriend only uses enterprise and this is the thanks we get. I can not even begin to express my disappointment in this company and be nice about it.

Our flight arrived late into Newark, after hours. We thought we surely werent going to be getting our car that night. Which would have made our early morning appointment rather difficult to make. BUT, Enterprise arranged for us to be able to get our car despite the fact that we were over an hour after hours. We are thankful!!

I tried to rent a fullsize SUV from Enterprise. There were no available fullsize suv near to my home so i decided to go to airport to rent the car. A weeks before the rent i called them and doubled checked the deposit policy and they said its gonna be 10% on the rent fee.After that, i spend $40 on uber to get to the airport and tried to rent the car but guess what happen? They said its gonna be additional $400 for people whos not traveling. Which was above the limit of my credit card.They couldve told me that on the phone but they did not. There were 6 people waiting for me to pickup.

Staff was very friendly and helpful after they arrived in the morning. Unfortunately after flight cancelations and delays I discovered that the Newark airport location no longer is open 24 hours. I had to wait 4 hours after I arrived to get my rental.

Pretty quick to get our vehicle and very friendly staff getting us on our way. Plenty of cars available it seemed. The car was clean, didnt smell of smoke, but something seemed off about the alignment on it. I mean it is a rental so its understandable.

The management here sucked. She was rude and argumentative. Very unprofessional . She really set mankind back 400 yrs. She had a little bit of power and tried to use it. She only lost money and customers. She is or was pregnant while we were there which made it worse. Like what woman / mother argue with someone in the state she was in??? Do u not care enough for not only your job, yourself image, and the stress you are causing your unborn. Smh. If I could rate a 0 I would just on her alone made us go somewhere else.

I rent from enterprise on a regular. they are starting to disappoint me on a regular. flew into Jersey airport where i picked up my rental. informed service rep that there was trash in the back of the car and some type of mess all over the back door handle. informed him that i would have people getting in and out of the back and if i could have it cleaned up as well as the trash in the back. he informed me he she was short staffed and it would take awhile. i was told i would get a call regarding the incident and never did.

Best car rental experience I’ve ever had. The service was amazing, they understood my needs when deciding on a car and insurance, and they made it so quick and easy. It felt like I was in and out within a few minutes both when leaving and returning the car. I had two different gentlemen assist me, one with the purchase and one with the return. They were both so kind and helpful. I will definitely be using Enterprise again.

Customer service was awesome at Newark Airport. We had our inbound flight changes to EWR from LGA but our return flight was still at LGA. The EWR manager, Vincent Ciapolli, waived the fee to drop the vehicle at LGA. 2021 Nissan Rogue was a great vehicle. Enterprise customer for life.

I almost always use Enterprise because I know their cars are always clean and in good shape. The car I was given,VW Golf, did not have a USB charging port. It looked like it had one of the new universal charging ports which I do not have a cable for so I had to go buy one that you put in the lighter. Other than being incredibly expensive (like their competitors too) I like Enterprise out of Newark Airport.

I have been doing business with ERAC for decades. Never have I paid so much for a reantal and got so little for my money. I paid for an intermediate SUV, because my mother is handicalled and needs a vehicle with a taller seat to get in and out of. Due the Agents behavior It seemed they were out of tha size SUV. Im waiting over 25 minutes for car to show up. Then they pull up a smaller, compact SUV. This is not what I paid for, I said! Well, thats all we have, was the reply. I said that it i suppose to be your policy to give me an upgrade if you dont have the vehicle I reserved. I also told the Agent that I had an email that offered a free step up to a better car. This all fell on deaf ears. After a half hour of this nonsense, the Agent offered me a Crossover Subaru. I got tired of this game, so I took it. I was given a car that needed service. It steered very bad, and when you hit the brakes, the car shook. ERAC is fired!

I am always treated with respect and needs are always met. Love the team there at this location. I also experience great customer service at the Newark Airport location needs are constantly met. Rented vehicle 4/19/21 at EWR. Was clean and ready. Frank was helpful in signing paperwork and getting me on my way.The only add on I asked for was the full collision coverage.When I was on NJ turnpike I stopped to get ticket since I had not asked for transponder for EZ pass and intended to pay cash and avoid charge for the transponder however, there was transponder in the car and it was ACTIVATED!.When I returned the car next day and told the attendant, Mr. Hass, that I had not asked for the transponder and did not want that on my bill he advised that it was not on my bill now but would come later when EZ bills Enterprise.I had to catch my plan so I could not go to the rental office but did sent Enterprise and Email stating my objection.I have not heard anything back from them since I sent my email 6 days ago with my complaint re the transducer.Perhaps they will read this and react

The staff at the Newark airport agency is extremely efficient the service was a five-star from the point I arrived at the desk until I was in my car was less than five minutes and the return was even easier thanks keep up the great work. This is the second time we have rented from this location. The pickup is cumbersome and needs improvement. The last time we picked up our car the associate talked to us in the parking garage forever. It was late and freezing. We wanted to get the car and be on our way. Car return has been efficient and quick.

Not very efficient, the waiting is outdoors and it was freezing cold when I went, only 1 person doing all the jobs (office, bringing the car around, cleaning etc). Which meant that everyone stood waiting in 20 degree weather while only 1 person rushed around to service all the customers. I was unimpressed.The cars are nice and clean so thats a good thing. And in very good condition. Returning was pretty simple.

I have exclusively rented from Enterprise for the past six years and have had nothing but excellent experiences. All of the vehicles have been available, clean and ready to go when I arrived. No delays. No unexpected charges as the website is clear and easy to use. I’ve found the pricing to be as good or better than competitors in the same market.Very importantly, the personnel have been friendly and helpful at all the locations I’ve used (airports on both East and West coasts).With my most recent rental, I was extremely surprised and gratified to receive a huge upgrade (muscle car convertible instead of the Intermediate vehicle I’d reserved). It was the only vehicle available, apparently, and I greatly appreciated the accommodation. Luckily this was a vacation trip to the beach and not a business trip, so having this awesome car totally made our week!Thank you, Enterprise, for making car rental a fear-free and pleasant experience. As a long-time member of Enterprises Plus Rewards Program, I am disappointed in this last rental. It has been by far one of the worst experiences with renting from Enterprise and was only giving 3 out of 5 stars for the ease at which their Customer Service has handled my pick up and return of the vehicle. My rental had not been washed or vacuumed because if it had, there would have been no bugs on the front end (bumper, grill and headlights) and the interior wouldnt have had crumbs from the previous renter. Speaking of the previous renter, the inside of my vehicle smelled like the kitchen from a fast food joint; especially the fry station! In addition, there were indications of a liquid spill that hadnt been cleaned up. Overall, I was displeased with the condition of my rental but dont think that Enterprise will do anything about it.

I share this as a renters beware to ensure you go over every inch of the car you are renting. Enterprise has high mileage cars which have seen better days. At Newark airport since it is a garage, you may not be able to see every piece of damage as it is dark, as we experienced. Now it is your word against theirs since you didnt notice the loose bumper when picking up the car in the dark garage. A particular employee there took advantage of the fact that it was a younger woman dropping off car to insinuate damage. Figuring easy prey. Be very careful at this location.

I would say that the overall experience varies by location- in my hometown its much better (Punta gorda, FL) then when I recently traveled to enterprise in Newark NJ Airport- They had the inside location shut down and you had to walk quite a ways to a different booth located in the parking garage- I waited about 35 minutes for the delivery of the car. They said they did not have one and had to quickly wash one. They did apologize but overall the experience could have been better as they knew what my pick up time was.

This company is terrible, I had a reservation through a branch office. They called me saying they had a glitch in the system, they are overbooked and they have no cars. The agent said she called all the other branches and they all have no cars and adviced me to call the Newark airport location. When I called, they transferred me to the escalation representative who in turn said they cant honor this reservation and asked me to pay double the amount exactly or to shop around to find a branch that has a car while they have cars in the airport location.When I asked her to assist in finding a solution, she hanged up on me. This is not acceptable behavior by a reputable company. I advise that no one would work with a company with such poor customer service.

The car wasnt cleaned, found a dirty linen at the back of the car and a lipstick in the coffee pocket . This clearly means that the car wasnt sanitized too. Really callous from Enterprise Rent a car. When I mentioned the same upon returning to the Atlanta Airport Location, I was told to contact the New York facility from where I picked the car. Really in this day and age there are so many silos that its upon the customer to find a way whereas companies like Enterprise make it difficult for us to find that way.Really horrible service.

Enterprise came to my rescue when my credit card company dropped the ball. I was stranded at an airport because of my credit card company pulling some shady business. I talked to a manager & showed her my bank account balance & she allowed me to use my bank card instead. Saved me from getting right back on the next flight home! My only issue came from not knowing that the drop off location was changed due to the one I requested being shut done until further notice. Found that out when I showed up to the drop location I requested. Other than that, I am really happy with Enterprise. I will continue to use them whenever I need to!

This past February I rented a terrific Rav 4 Adventure. It was new with less than 5 thousand miles on it. I rented it out of Newark Airport, NJ. I got a great deal, the lowest I’ve ever paid, around $228.00 for 6 days. The check in process was easy, I used a kiosk. Pick up and drop off couldn’t be easier or more convenient. Nichelle Alexander the manager at this location and Joe cuzzlino one of the associate I dealt with at this location, they we’re rude, liars and completely unprofessional. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told no one was available, and after asking several more time, he finally went and got her. She was impatient, and every time I was told there was no vehicles available, she walks off with an attitude and give an excuse. I was told several time by the manager in front of other customer that “I’m being difficult “. I was not happy with my rental and very upset about the service I received.

Ive been a zipcar client for about 10 years and recently had to drop my membership due to their unreliable service. I made the change to use enterprise at Newark airport and never looked back!! The best decision Ive ever made during covid-19. Now I have a very reliable car service with great customer service. I have rented a car three times already without a single problem/ headache. In the famous words of apple it just works. This what you get from the newark enterprise location, exceptional service and a car that can take you to your destination! Highly recommend it for anyone struggling with zipcar in these hard times !

It was fast service, versatile and convenient. Only thing with all Enterprise delivery agents while taking the car, they insist on paying huge amounts to insure the vehicle and I don`t like it. After I say I`m going to use my own insurance they always ask: Are you sure? Of course I`m sure.
