I’ve had several really good experiences here and now am a regular customer. Igor, the guy who runs the place, shoots you straight and does really good work. There’s been several times where I bring him a pair of shoes that I think are toast and he makes them look brand new. There’s actually never been a time where he couldn’t fix my “issue.” Turnaround time is usually pretty quick, and he charges very fair prices too (especially for the quality of the work). Would highly recommend giving him a shot.

Prices are just as excellent as the quality of the work.In the past eight months, I’ve taken every shoe that’s needed a re-sole and/or cleaning to this establishment and have always gotten my money’s worth, in addition to being highly impressed.The best example is when I gave Igor a pair of very old, severely-worn and oil-stained Sperry Topsiders whose soles were practically nonexistent. He made a custom order to his longtime supplier to get a sole with the perfect color. Within a week, I got them back, and they looked completely brand new. In short, he did the impossible.Igor knows immediately what to do and will treat you with the utmost respect.And finally, Express offers both the best and the cheapest shoe shine in the City.Do yourself and your shoes a favor; go to Igor for all your footwear-related needs.

Igor is literally THE BEST in the business! Worldwide at that! And I would know because Ive had shoe markets from South of France to Milan to Moscow fix my shoes. His job is beyond perfect because he adds metal endings to the new soles he puts, he polishes the leather, the Louboutin soles he puts are perhaps better than the original varnish sole, and he repairs any kind of zipper. Also you can buy amazing extras to keep your shoes fresh. Recently I got these boot fillers & Im obsessed with them!! I highly recommend to anyone in Soho, Fidi, or even out of town. Hes done literally hundreds of pairs of my shoes & I travel even from the Hamptons to get my shoes repaired at Express Shoe Repair with Igor - 100%

Thus place is the BEST.Worth the commute from anywhere!I walked in with a pair of Doc Martens I thought needed a little cleanup and ended up leaving with boots I hardly even recognized!I’m now bringing all of my shoes to this place from Brooklyn because the service is that worth it!

Totally exceeded my expectations - I had no idea my shoes could look that new again! Given a whole new life to them. Egor was lovely and I’m very excited to have a local cobbler now. Don’t buy a new pair - repair the old here!

After my foot became soaked in all the rain lately I realized my gorilla glue shoe repair failed miserably and I was in desperate need of a quick fix. Googled this place and stopped in with the intention of buying some proper shoe glue. The super nice polish guy behind the counter insisted I take my shoes off so he could fix them... which he did perfectly and refused to accept payment. I left a donation and am walking in the rain again today dry and happy.

This is the best shoe repair shop Ive ever been to. Another place in the area quoted me $150 for a boot repair, this guy did it quickly for $30!

Definitely one of the coolest shoe repair shops in lower Manhattan. The area is famouus for many movies. Yuri is an amazing, kind, hearted individual. Will do anything to make his customers happy. He loves his job, and knows what hes doing. Prices are extremely fair. Go to any other shoe repair shop, and they dont compare to the workmansbip.

Good work, but he apparently does not even closely adhere to the posted hours. I went 3 times during business hours and the shop lights were off with the door locked. The 4th time he happened to be there, and I happened to have my shoes with me. When I came to pick them up, the store was open but completely empty. After 5 minutes of waiting, the proprietor strolled in nonchalantly. Also, the pricing appears to be completely arbitrary- he glanced at how much money was in my hand, and apparently came to the conclusion that that was the exact amount I owed him.

Eclectic shop where you can buy/service shoes and get a haircut. The workmanship is usually satisfactory, and if it isnt the owner will work to make you happy. The pricing seems to vary on the owners mood

I worked for a high-end shoe company. We bring them several pairs to repair, we were a nice business opportunity for him. Service is very poor, rude and unpolite person.We asked him a very simple repair while he let a lot of glue on the leather. When I asked him to clean it, it just started to yell and asked me to never ever come back. Well, this is for sure!

I had a pair of extremely beat up, worn-down black leather boots. Half hour and $5 later, the boots look brand-new. Highly recommended.

IIm sure theyre very good quality shoe repair places in the city. But hands down, in Tribeca Soho area, Yuri is your man to go to. I recently had a pair of boots that were in desperate need of fixing. I went to the western store on Walker street because they would know who be able to fix them. The place they suggested was a waste. The guy didnt want to fix the boots. Told me they could never be fixed and I should get rid of them. I went to a couple of places and none of them could or would do it.I was giving up and was thinking about chucking the boots but then I remembered Express Shoe repair. I figured it couldnt hurt to ask Yuri. NO PROBLEM. Yuri made them better changed the heel. Fixed them up right.So after all that, Im not going to another repair place. And if I want the repair done right? Yuri at Express Shoe repair. Thats it.

Fantastic little shop, lovely man (Mr Yuriy), very helpful and professional! We were visiting from New Zealand but locals are lucky to have this place in their neighborhood!!
