Great all over. Clean. Perfect location at the center of the city. Helpful staff. Complete fitness center. Not that you are going to sleep in the elevator, but it is nice not having to make multiple stops when you come back tired. So I like that it has elevators assigned for range of floors. The rooms are decent size for NYC. It is not a bring your whole house place. Comfy beds.

Front desk- it was a good experience when I checked in. Shame on me for not remembering the name of the staff that checked me in. I was able to check in at 10 AM vice 2 PM. I have emailed and called to arrange it though.Room - Holiday inn express has more amenities than this place. No towel rack, no ice machine, room is small, bathroom is outdated, no fridge but you can get one for $25. The lobby looks much better than the room giving Customers a good impression only to be crushed upon seeing the assigned room.Location - ideal or probably one of the best since it is only minutes away by foot to Times Square. Plenty of places to eat and visit. This is our first day and have 3 more to go. Will definitely update this post.

I went for a workout in the fitness center and it turned out to be an exceptional fitness and customer service experience. A good workout changes my day, so when Im on the road its the first thing I do. At the end of my workout, there was a guest in the gym who was being extremely rude, tying up several pieces of equipment and not letting other guests use them. He said, its not your personal gym and youll have to wait until Im done working out. Even when I asked to work in, this guest said no. I went to the fitness center staff member, Andre, and asked if he could intervene. He went over and talked to this guest, but also asked me what I liked to do as far as workouts. Andre then spent about half an hour leading me through one of the best workouts Ive had in a long time. What a tremendous asset to have on staff. Andre was the perfect mix of diplomacy and customer service, while diffusing a very frustrating experience. You dont find a lot of people going above and beyond these days, so I felt compelled to write about an exceptional customer service experience. Thank you Andre, you should be running this place :)

We initially booked a hotel across the street. We knew immediately we could not stay there for a week and looked up the rates for this Sheraton. The price turned out to be $200 cheaper and an 100% better. I said every day of our stay that I was so thankful we switched to the Sheraton. The only thing I found this hotel lacking was amenities. Some of them were closed due to covid, which I understand. (Restaurants, fitness center) What I feel are basic amenities like a fridge, laundry facilities and vending machines were not even available. Other than these things the stay was nice. The location was perfect and the rooms were well maintained and updated. The staff was friendly however housekeeping cleaned when we requested twice that they don’t. We put up our privacy sign after that and they didn’t do it again. Overall a very pleasant stay.

For obvious reasons... location is everything, staff are friendly and the rooms are cozy (a little classic, but cute). The only downside, is wait time for responses or delivery of requested items/services - even so, they are gracious. If you want to stay at the heart of the Tumes square, this is your hotel. Loved the locatiom and loved the beautiful lobby and very amiable, helpful people.Very disappointed at the size of the rooms though, too small if you ask me. We got a parlour suite with 2 adjacent rooms with amazing views of 7th Avenue and 57th Street. Why am I not happy? Because the basic amenities like a microwave or a refrigerator will come with extra cost of $25 each.Another thing is the mattresses are super soft, which maybe good for some, but not so good for us. Pillows were not comfortable either.Places are clean and complementary water helps, and absolutely loved the proximity to the subway, central park and Times Square.

We just returned from a quick, last minute trip to NYC. I literally spent hours trying to find a hotel, as we have never stayed directly in Times Square and I wanted to find a place that had a great location and was plenty nice for us to enjoy the time spent in our room. Unfortunately, the first place we booked was canceled as they were somehow overbooked, and I did not wish to stay at their sister hotel downtown. After already spending so much time researching hotels, I decided to just roll the dice on Priceline and book a 4.5 star hotel in Times Square, which ended up being Sheraton Times Square.I will start by saying I have no complaints. We didnt arrive to New York until about midnight, so we checked in around 1:00am. Upon arrival, we were asked to present our room keys, which was nice to see they had great security right through the front doors. The receptionist at the front desk was polite and upgraded us to a room with a view of the park (not sure where the view was, but it was a nice gesture). The elevators were high-tech, completely digital which the kids thought were cool, but were slightly confusing the first time we used them. I was a bit disappointed with the room, but nothing was wrong with it. It was clean, decent decor and had everything we needed, just very underwhelming for a 4.5 star. We were expecting a small room, as most of our hotel stays in NYC have been tight, and with two kids, it was just fine. The beds are small, but doable for our family. The location was wonderful! Just far enough north of the hustle and bustle of Times Square and plenty close to the bright lights, Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, etc. I was happy that you didnt walk right out of the lobby into the craziness of the heart of Times Square, so the location was 5 stars for us.All in all, our stay was good. It was plenty fine, just not something I was super excited about.

It did not have the amenities/ furniture as listed on the website. Upon checking with front desk, the said its just a photo. I was surprised that staff of reputed hotel could give such a reply. Even there was a charge of USD 25 to operate the fridge.( Even the motels in USA provides a fridge ( and microwave) in the room). The room was cramped & uncomfortable. Not to Marriott standards. The hotel has an amazing location right in the middle of Times Square ! Very clean, good room service and housekeeping, and comfortable rooms. The staff aren’t too friendly or welcoming.
