Overall, a good hotel. Clean room, everything in good condition. Excellent price for being a midtown hotel. Elevators were nice and fast. Convenient location to where I needed to be and good subway access. Didnt eat any meals here, theres plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Our 5 night stay was lovely. Great location! Clean room with nice towels and toiletries, ample closet space, coffee in room, free WiFi and a welcoming front desk team. The buffet breakfast is a good deal and Raham and Farrah are exceptional!! The only suggestion would be to provide a microwave in the room.

I stayed recently for couple of nights. It’s located at center point in NYC.Pros: ( for two positive stars)1) Nice location; 42nd St subway station just next to hotel2) They follow good precautions in pandemic times! Overall, good in cleanliness and hygieneCons: ( for three negative stars )1) Complimentary Breakfast is a joke !! Don’t book this hotel if you’re looking for a complimentary breakfast2)They clean room once in 3 days!! ( they should mention this on website)3) They don’t let you to use garage parking on weekends ( even paid ones too)/ also no drinking water / tea-coffee in room.

What should have been the easiest/stressfree part of our trip ended up being a nightmare, to start we did had Joel mess up our reservation by charging us an extra room because he did not find all our information. Then we had to deal with the hotel being dirty, No clean sheets, a handful of rude attendants, and no help from the hotel or the company to fix our issue let alone acknowledging that they made an error. The only saving grace for this hotel is its amazing centralized location but everything else is piss poor from the customer service to the quality of the stay.

Just spent three nights at The Four Points by Sheraton Midtown-Time Square. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to everything. There is an ACE subway stop at the end of the street which is super convenient. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. The staff at checkin were efficient and polite and the bartender in the evening was very hospitable. Does the hotel need a coat of paint? Maybe. But at the end of the day it was clean, in a great location, nice staff, well appointed rooms and at a great price. This was a great spot to call home base for the few days away.

Stop double charging my card!. This is literally the third time I have booked with them through Expedia and they charge me a full nights stay even though the room is already paid for. Either their software needs to be upgraded or they need to ensure the staff is properly trained. Now I have to file a dispute with my bank and lodge a complaint with the better business bureau because after looking at other reviews it seems that unauthorized card charges is not a random occurrence and some kind of investigation needs to take place.

Everything was great from friendly courteous check-in to housekeeping to breakfast. Great breakfast selection and very friendly staff. Room was very nice and bigger than we expected (we were a family of 4 on vacation). We were on the 11th floor. We heard some street noise at night, but it wasn’t bad and I think that is to be expected near Times Square. Beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great stay.

This hotel is very close to all the action of Times Square and the Javitz center, yet is tucked away on a less crowded street. They have very comfortable and clean rooms with large internet ready TVs. Best of all you get this at a reasonable price and the best staff in NY is a huge benefit. A recent remodel of the lobby, restaurant and bar is a plus and the full cook to order breakfast in the restaurant and dinner at the bar gives this hotel an advantage over other hotels in the same category such as Fairfield or Hyatt Place where there is only a crowded buffet. Give it a try and Stop in at night and enjoy an IPA on tap with Sam or Anthony at the bar while watching jeapody.

I am a Titanium Elite member and I requested the complimentary suite upgrade well before I arrived. I was told that my request was granted 5 days before I arrived. But when I got there, they only had a regular double room that was smaller than my closet at home. I know that small spaces are typical for NYC, thats why I asked for a suite. And you cant imagine how filthy the air conditioning unit was, so I took pictures! Obviously COVID-19 protocols are not being followed.

Not a good experience. This location should be reviewed by upper management, and this is coming from somebody who rarely ever takes time out of the day to write a review. First of all, I should have known this trip was going to be subpar when a gentleman was arguing with the front desk on information that had been miscommunicated to him at the time of my arrival. False information seems to be a pattern. Free complimentary breakfast was not provided until the day of my departure which consisted of a cold bagel and a water. Aside from that, all breakfast had to be ordered and picked up AT THE LOBBY instead of having it delivered to the roomsWhich goes into the second issue of room service. The entire point of room service is to have everything delivered to your room. Instead, room service was never available and so that meant trash had to be piled up and kept in our rooms and nobody came to refill tissues or anything. We had to go downstairs to ask. When asked about female toiletries such as tampons and pads, I was informed that they were out of those so I had to walk to the nearest store on a cold night just for pads. Just ridiculousAnother night, friends and I decided to go down to grab water but then we were told that they did not provide something as basic as bottled water and we had to call an uber eats for something like that. I honestly do not know how this hotel is running. They cannot provide even the most basic necessities and on top of that, parts of the bathroom are filthy and rusted. Just ridiculous. if you are looking for a room and a bed with warm air then this is the place for you, as that was the only decent part of the stay. This is NOT a hotel for long term stays.

The real MVP of our stay was the night shift concierge- I think her name is Jesaline. To set the scene- its a cold February night, about 4am. Three drunk young men giddily stumble into the lobby after a fun night. They are equal parts tired and hungry. Jesaline hears their needs and points them to a nearby ...sandwich shop? deli? convenience store? Im not really sure what it was, but it hit the spot. Many sober people would roll their eyes at such a sight, but this fantastic lady had the nicest smile as she helped the boys end their last night in the city with an unexpectedly great 4am meal. Tysm Jesaline, hero of the night. More general things- The room was clean and comfortable, I had a good view to wake up to every morning. They already had ear plugs on the night stand which helped me take a little power nap soon as I got there- nice touch, very appreciated. I always bring my own pillow just in case the hotel only has firm pillows but they had a variety and I wouldnt have even needed mine. They always had some infused water in the lobby- very appreciated because we drank a lot this weekend and it was like a gentle reminder to hydrate on our way in and out :) The overnight parking was a little more expensive than the garages nearby, but they did pull my car around in at most 20min when I was checking out.

This is my go-to hotel every time Im in NYC, which is usually 4-6 times a year for business, fun or both. I love the location of the hotel, close to everything, including Broadway, Times Square, my clients in Midtown, Central Park, and all the great restaurants and bars along 9th. I can walk everywhere I go. The hotel itself is newer (built c. 2008) and recently-renovated. The rooms are well-sized. And the staff here are the friendliest staff Ive ever known at a hotel (and I stay at hotels 75-110 nights a year). They greet me by name, ask how Ive been, ask how my trip is going, and make recommendations. So Id highly recommend the Four Points Times Square to anybody staying in Midtown Manhattan for business or vacation...you wont be disappointed, and the value and experience cant be beat.

When I walked into the lobby it felt a bit underwhelming, more like a train station than a hotel. To the right was a small bar, to the left the check- in desk with pleasant office staff. The elevators are super fast, my room was on the 31st floor and I got there in seconds.VERY quiet floor, the room was adequate, a little small but its Manhattan, so its okay. I would like to point out that the room itself was exceptionally clean. I liked that I was able to open the windows, not all the way, for obvious reasons, but enough to get some fresh air and take in the traffic/ police/ ambulance sirens and constant car horns...even on the 31st floor. Bathroom was good, the shower had a nice strong water flow. The hotel is close to many attractions. I would stay there again.

The staff at the Four Points by Sheraton Mid-Town Times Square were all extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great visit. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, which was surprising for the location being so close to Times Square. We would definitely stay here again. If breakfast is not included with your room and you have the time, we would recommend going somewhere nearby instead, but it is convenient to eat there if youre in a rush. The food was good, but not great for $20 each. However the servers are super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable breakfast.

This hotel is conveniently-located between 8th & 9th Ave on 40th street, which places it right next to Port Authority building. Easy to get around. However, the hotel is also almost next door to a homeless shelter building. In the mornings, there would be a line of homeless people queuing up outside the shelter. In the evenings, as you approach the hotel entrance, you may have to walk pass big quantities of sometimes-smelly giant garbage bags of trash waiting to be picked up. If you are the type who could be bothered by all these external elements, then book elsewhere. My room was small, with old & bulky desk & wardrobe, both of which did not fit the decor of the room. They looked like leftover 2nd-hand furniture, which took up a lot of precious space. I also did not like the narrow passages leading to the rooms. Being a Lifetime Titanium Elite status member was of no use at this hotel. I booked 6 nights but got an ordinary tiny room with an ugly view of some neighbouring office building’s pipes and offices on the 19th floor! Big disappointment and regret! Not good value in my opinion. Staff service was generally very good, though. Guests were always treated warmly. But not enough to make me return to this hotel nor recommend it.

I’ve stayed in many hotels in NYC and have worked in many hotels and resorts. The Four Points Midtown - Times Square was an excellent stay on all levels. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Mine was a very nice size for NYC. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows high quality. The back side of the building where I stayed was very quiet. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but it did not bother me at all. I loved having the coffee maker for the morning with choice of coffee or tea. The hotel lobby provided warm cookies in the late afternoon and bakery cupcakes available at the front desk. That was a generous and unexpected perk. Staff was very personable, friendly and informative. My only criticism was the leaky shower through the shower door onto the bathroom floor. But the upside was that the shower water pressure was strong with plenty of hot, consistent water. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Sam the bartender was great! However, the room itself was not modern looking and the bedsheets and towels were all yellow and dirty looking. The front desk manager was rude and lied on the phone when I told them they charged my card twice for the room and only has one reversed fee and said that my card on Hotwire declined so they charged my card even though I paid through my Hotwire cash credit as I have no credit card info on Hotwire. Their mistake put my account to negative which ended up with overdraft fee. When I was on the phone with her and also on a conference call with her and with BoA agent the manager of the hotel refused to admit it is their fault, didn’t even say sorry once and said that they didn’t have any charges on that account, she is sure that my bank has charged me with that amount that it is a debit card as well and she can’t assist me any further than just sending me screenshot of no balance on my name.Lastly, after several times of denial, the bank agent told me that this is not going to reach to a conclusion with a proper manner we want and she told the front desk manager of the hotel she can ahead so the bank agent can help me to switch it to dispute. As if this is not enough, the manager hung up on our face without saying have a good day and even the agent said sorry on her behalf how rude she was.Lack of professionalism on not taking responsibility of their wrongdoing plus being rude and no curtsy act a huge minus on their end. I still heard nothing, so I called to speak with the front office manager. She said someone tried to call me to say the items weren’t recovered, but there was no answer and my voicemail was full, a complete lie. My mailbox on my iPhone is far from full. Even though I checked in on line with an estimated 2:30pm arrival, my room wasnt ready. I told the front desk trainee that it didnt matter what type or where my room was, I just needed to get in, to allow for a 3:30pm meeting I had to attend. As a Marriott Titanium member, I expected to get offered points at the front desk for my stay. To my dismay, I was offered nothing at all. Once I finally got into my room the AC wasnt working well. I called down and asked them to please come and fix, while I was away. That didnt happen and when I arrived back in the room around 11:30pm, the AC still wasnt working correctly. I called back down and they said someone would be up within 30 minutes or so. I said ok but by 1:00am, no one had arrived. I called back down and was told they could have someone there within a few seconds. I refused and went to sleep, hot. When I checked out the next morning, I requested points but still havent received anything. Ultimately, I was invoiced twice for my stay and it has yet to be resolved, over two weeks later. Ive left several messages for the accounting team with no return call. I talked to a front desk person but she couldnt assist. Ive disputed the one charge with my cc company and awaiting them to hopefully handle. I really need this resolved, timely. Like all NYC rooms it was tight. We had to put our bags on the desk and do our makeup on the floor because there was no where to sit your bags in the bathroom. The did give you complimentary water when you asked but it was warm and there were no refrigerators in the rooms. It was a nice gesture but a cold water was much needed after a day in NYC. It was a clean hotel and the area around it was good for a downtown hotel. The staff were very friendly. There are only 8 rooms on each floor so it wasnt loud. You could hear sirens but no matter where you stay you would hear that. The arranged for a car service to take us back to the airport for a flat fee of $55 which was really nice. They also had free wifi. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very impressed with this hotel. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The car that they organised to take us to the airport - just great!Even though the room was on the small side (more so the bathroom) we found it very comfortable, clean and suitable for the time we spent there. Being on the 22nd floor we experienced minimal street noise and slept very well. The position of the hotel is great - so close to Times Square, Broadway theatres, great food and transportation stops. The Wednesday night happy hour of complimentary drinks and food was a lovely touch - the bar & kitchen staff fantastic!Would definitely stay here again if we return to NYC.

Just had a wonderful 5 day stay at Four Points Mid Town NYC! The location cannot be beat in NYC with easy access to endless entertainment and shopping options. Port Authority Bus/Train Station right around the corner. The hotel staff are very pleasant and professional and we were greeted with cupcakes the moment we approached the front counter. Rooms are clean, spacious and updated with nice furniture and nice bathroom. Breakfast buffet was great had it every morning. Looking for a cozy hotel without a big crowd then look no further.

Check in & out was easy. The location of the hotel is right down the corner from the subway so it made it easy to get to places further away from the hotel. The hotel and our room were very clean & I never felt unsafe staying there. Like most hotels in NYC I’m sure, you had to have a room key in order to ride the elevator up to the floors. The staff were friendly, always saying “good morning” or “good evening”, asking if we needed anything as we passed through the lobby. For those staying in a room that doesn’t include breakfast, breakfast is too pricey ($19) so we never ate breakfast at the hotel. We did eat dinner the first night and it wasn’t too bad, especially for the price we paid. I would stay at this hotel again!

Shared on YelpOur first family visit to New York City. Since the hotel rooms are very small, I needed to get myself my own room. I heard very good reviews about this hotel and was very pleased with the price.Pros:1. Excellent central location. Next to Fulton train station, across from the bus terminal & Madison Square Garden.2. Friendly and helpful staff.3. Nice size TV in the room and WiFi was strong.4 Very comfortable king size bed and the versatile bluethooth speaker had good sound.Cons:1. Very small gym and bar. Also, the bar isnt open in the afternoon.2. Wall heater in the room? There was a thermostat that made you believe you can adjust the temperature. Um...no.3 The shower head was leaky and one needed to mess with the knob. to make it stop.4. The sheets had a musty oder. The room wasnt stocked well. For example, a.) the coffee lids were too small b) bathroom like was out.c) I found a long hair on my new towel. E..I have short hair!To sum up, the grade I will give is a C. The mail reason is for price. I can put up with a few minor cleanliness issues. Im not in NYC to hang out in my room. If the bar was larger, I would like to hang out instead of walking around in the freezing temperatures.

I liked this hotel because the beds are comfortable and rooms are compact and quaint. You can get to Times Squares and Herald Square and plenty of restaurants/ fast foods nearby to eat. Only concerns are the water temperature (extremely hot and had no label) and the doors slam loudly.

Very clean, staff is very friendly and room is actually very spacious and comfortable. Being our first time in NYC, we weren’t sure where to stay. Especially after reading horrific reviews on multiple well known hotels. Our view is phenomenal! And conveniently located near lots of options for dining, shopping and entertainment. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

The four points is a really nice hotel in a very convenient location in Midtown Manhattan. Our room was a good-sized very comfortable and very well appointed. The breakfast was very good. The only negative I have is that the air conditioning unit was incredibly loud. It sounded like a galloping air conditioning unit. Other than that I think this is a great place to stay up and would definitely go there again

Ive been a loyal Bonvoy member for more than a decade and this was my first time staying in a Four Points. I wasnt sure what to expect but overall it was a very great experience. First of all, the location was excellent- only a few blocks from Times Square. That was my primary reason for booking this hotel. I found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, pretty quiet, and fairly spacious for a Manhattan hotel room. The lobby area left something to be desired, but other than that, the hotel checked all the boxes I needed for this trip.

Perfect location for access to both Times Sq and downtown. Esp nice to be able to walk on the High Line to Chelsea Mkt and the Whitney. Fun to stroll through Times Sq on the way back from our show but not be right in the crowds all the time. Very nice check in experience (Josie), friendly bartender, cut above the usual breakfast w/ hot, fluffy eggs - prepared w/ professional technique. Clean room. Fast elevators. All around a great midtown overnight to see a special Broadway show.

I stayed here for a week with my husband and daughter and it was a great experience. Every staff member we encounter at the hotel was friendly and polite. My daughter especially loved the afternoon snacks in the lobby. I loved how conveniently located the hotel was transportation. The rooms were clean and the bed was great.

If I could give a higher rating I would. The staff is excellent and went out of their way to ensure a special stay for us. It was our Anniversary Vacation. Room was excellent we were on a high floor and the internet was faster than expected and also the hot water came quickly. Plenty of outlets and connections for the electronic devices. Subway was nearby one less than fifty yard from front door. Another only a city block away.

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit RoomBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!Very compact room but is very clean and has eveything you need. Service was great and the location is also very good. I would highly recommend staying here by yourself or with a friend. It was a very tight squeeze with four people but still manageable. Good price, clean rooms, good service.

We had our issues with our previous accommodation and had desperately looked for a place to sleep and booked this beauty within hours of arriving. Before we checked in, I didnt think of it much but once we did check in, the staff were amazing. AMAZING. Ashley, Corey, and Louis, you guys made the experience so much more perfect. Your charm and personality and just all around greatness made me not want to leave. But Im going to definitely recommend Four Points to others and Ill definitely come back when I visit New York again. Ka Pai (well done) Four Points!! From New Zealand. P.S. thanks for all the patience with the amount of luggage we had

We arrived with two cars and book the hotel room for two nights. They dont have parking on site and the valet parking was 69 USD a day, so they would take our cars to an offsite parking sport. When we were checking out, they charged us for 5 days of parking (2 for one car and 3 for another), even though we only stayed for about 36 hours in total. I told them it would be impossible for us to park 3 days since we werent even here for 2 days. They insisted that I took out the car and that counts as an additional day of parking. I told them that I did not even know where the car was parked to begin with and they had my car keys, it would not be possible for us to take the car out. If the car was taken out, it wouldnt be us, it would be whoever had the car keys and knew where the car was parked (aka them). So the front desk said they would charge me 4 days instead (2 days for each car). When I got my email invoice, it still showed 5 days of parking and they charged my card for 5 days anyway. In addition, there was an additional unknown charge of 184.37 USD that is totally unexplained on my credit card. Guess i would have take weeks to dispute this with my credit card issuer. Terrible checking out experience for a typical world class hotel franchise.

This hotel has some of the best staff I have seen! They are all extremely friendly and willing to go the extra mile. They were extremely responsive to any question I had during my stay. The hotel its self is not fancy, but it gets the job done. The best part of the hotel is the location. It is less than one block away from Times Square. However, since it is just outside of Time Square, there are a lot of cheap eats on the same block. The food at the hotel is good, and reasonably priced. If you want a nice hotel that is economical, I would strongly recommend staying here.

We booked the suite with city views. It was a very spacious comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children. Huge king bed with good quality linen. Kids slept in lounge on big sleeper couch which was very comfortable. We had a lovely view of the city from 32nd floor. Room had coffee machine, microwave and fridge. Really a very comfortable stay within walking distance of Times Square, shopping and Broadway shows. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Anthony was an AMAZING bartender. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating however he is a gem! He made me feel welcome and at ease in a city I’ve never been to and by myself. He remembered by name and would make it a point to say hi every time he saw me. Such a great guy! He deserves a raise and a paid vacation!

Good hotel, well priced and with pleasant staff. The rooms are a little small but comfortable. Amenities were great, having mouth wash and makeup wipes is a small but great touch. (And there was no resort fee!) The reception staff was nice and helpful. Our room was facing the street but we couldnt hear any street noise. The only down is that the AC unit was a little loud.

I loved my stay. Its a quiet hotel even though outside the door construction is going on and youre next to port authority. The staff is attentive and the lobby is pleasant. The room is spacious for NY. I havent stayed in a Sheraton in years and remembered super soft beds. The pillows were magical but the bed was firm and slightly uncomfortable. I had an issue with the AC (temperature fluctuating) but the manager was super attentive and tried to resolve the problem. Overall great stay and very attentive staff. I would highly recommend for business travel or perfect for venturing out in the city, as its easy to get back to the area no matter where you go.
