This was my best stay in the the city. The view from the rooms on the top floors is mesmerizing. The staff was great, very polite and professional, I even got upgraded room. Thank you so much, guys! The room itself is really spacious by NY standards and was cleaned everyday. The location of hotel is perfect - everything is at walking distance. I strongly recommend this hotel for everyone.
My 2 night biztrip coincided with my birthday. Megan and her team made my stay special. I received a birthday card signed by all staff. It made my day in New York, City where I supposed to celebrate by myself like a lone wolf. The room was very clean, firm mattress, foam pillows, a gorgeous Broadway view, and steps away from Central Park. I managed to pack 2 fun runs in the park during my stay. Cant be better. I will be back.
It was absolutely amazing. Clean environment beautiful view. I stayed in the executive suite corner room. My bed and pillows were very comfortable. The view from the room and the bathroom is everything.
We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Our room was spacious and had a great view. We did use the gym, which was appropriately stocked with multiple treads, Peloton, and cable machine. The business area had a nice bar for drinks at night and Starbucks in the morning. Its conveniently located by multiple subway stops and plenty good restaurants and places for drinks after. Would stay again.
Fantastic hotel with great views, excellent service and staff, and a great location. The hotel was accommodating in allowing me to check in early. The staff informed me of the available amenities which included continental breakfast and a Starbucks on the fourth floor. The hotel has an excellent location with several restaurants around the corner or across the street. Another plus is that its just far enough away from Time Square that you can easily avoid that chaos. If you wan to visit Time Square, Central Park, or Rockefeller Center, its only about a 15 minute walk away. Great experience and will stay again when visiting New York CIty.
We had a wonderful stay! Upon checking in I was told I received an upgrade and the view was amazing! The breakfast isnt great but I would suggest finding somewhere else to eat because of the awesome cuisine you can find at anytime and most places are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and more than suitable enough for having a place to stay. The hotel staff is very nice, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Theres a police precinct a 4 minute walk, a bar, at least 2 pizza places one is open until 430am, bus stops and subway entrances. ENJOY YOUR STAY!
If I could give this hotel 4.5, I would. I really liked the room. It had floor to ceiling windows. Our corner room on the 24th floor had only a sliver of a view of Times Square, but the view out onto the surrounding streets was great. The room was comfortable and it was quiet - no excessive street noise. It was very clean, but the bathroom needed an update - and the toilet was tucked into a small space that basically had you-to-face with the wall. Weird! Otherwise, the room was very spacious by NYC standards, the staff was professional and I would definitely stay here again.
Great place, very NY cozy! Clean rooms, roof top gym is awesome and very well equipped. There is also a well kept bee farm on the roof. It is safely kept away from people. (Picture). It is right in the middle of it all, short hop from Central Park. The staff is very nice and thorough in explaining NYC Covid rules. I would def come back to stay here!
Very nice hotel, conveniently located. We were on the 64th floor and a spectacular view of the west side...it would be good if they could update the outlets to USB ports with todays electrical/technology requirements.
The location is amazing. But thats where it ends. Despite there being 4 elevators only 1 works at a time. So plan on long wait times to enter and exit the hotel. If you have somewhere to be give yourself a good 20 minutes to exit the building as the one functional elevator rolls by full..and you wait for another and another.. I found dried cereal in my white leather chair and a potato chip in my bathroom upon checking. The Starbucks on the 4th floor only had 1 person at the counter..and there are 34 floors of people trying to get breakfast/coffee at once. The gym has basic equipment but great views.
Positive: This hotel exceeded all expectations. Room was exactly as advertised and definitely worth the value. I highly recommend the king corner with city view of grand Times Square. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful. Quiet and private room. Negative: I drove so parking suck, they offer valet for 60/day with no in/out. Even with the parking disadvantage, hotel was still so good i still give this hotel a perfect rating.
Modern hotel with great location near Central Park. Academy OK Quiet room with safe and good wifi. Mini bar The safe sits on top of the minibar on the same shelf and heats up. I was even afraid to damage valuables but there was no problem I even found out that if I buy a sandwich or packed food in the afternoon and leave it in the safe, it gets warm at night and at a good temperaturePhoto Safe and view from room window
Nice hotel. Great location. Friendly employees.
I miss the City! The view from this place was spectacular! Loved everything about my room. Was very clean, everything worked. I stayed in two rooms during my stay. First 2602 and then 3102. Both corner rooms. Room 2602 felt like a much better room. The customer service from the front desk was wonderful. The Club Lounge is non-existent but you can sit there and have coffee. Close to EVERYTHING. Loved it and will be back!
Positive: Great location. Several different train lines within blocks. Walking distance to Time Square. Lots of places to eat right around the corner. Antonios one block south is awesome and reasonable. Hotel also had laundry facilities on 35th floor. Negative: Everything was awesome.
Was at this hotel for a week and was met with wonderful service. After our original room seemed to share a vent with someone chain smoking cigarettes, we were met with absolute top notch service. Our room was upgraded to a higher floor with an even better view than our first and they threw in a bottle of wine. The front desk was incredibly polite and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy again. Cant blame them for someone disobeying the rules, but they did everything and more to make sure we werent effected by it and ended up happier in the end. Not only all this, but the location and proximity to the 53rd street metro station made getting around Manhattan a breeze. Will stay again when returning to NYC and highly reccomend you staying here on your trip.
Had a great night, comfortable bed and pillows. Really nice gym. Plenty of coffee and tea in the room. Upgraded me to a king size room for free.
Confortable rooms. I had to valet my car, they kept the car parked outside on the street for more than 3 hours with hazard lights on. Had to request the car to be put away before it got ticketed. Arriving to hotel is horrible. Busy road and no place to park or stop to get out
Giving it 4-4.5 .Location is fantastic- close to great attractions, 10-15 mins of walk to Central Park, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick Church and 5th Avenue shopping. Subway also accessible for more distant sightseeing.Would have loved it more if 1) room was bigger, though not unusual for being in NY, but we didnt have even have space to lay down our luggage. And 2) our view was just OK. Guess we had the not so great part of the building. As a long time Marriott member, I was hoping for better room assignment, especially since I was there for a week.Nevertheless, if you dont mind the view and room size, you will appreciate the location. Not sure how the other Marriott properties are in this side but I do plan to check them out next time.
Great location and price. Good food across the street and easy access to times Square and the Broadway theaters.
No parking. Very tiny rooms. Fast elevators. Good location for site seeing. Breakfast on the 4th floor. Connected to the Residence Inn.
Positive: The hotel was clean, but because of the pandemic we brought our own cleaning supplies and pillow cases. The ad says the microwave is in the room however it is located on the 4th floor of the hotel. The fridge is located in the room which was a plus. Negative: The room is powered by the room key which was new to us. I can see if you werent aware youd think something was wrong with the lighting.
My favourite hotel in New york. Cleanliness like no other, Friendly staff and the best view i have had in a hotel in new york.A must!!
Very nice hotel with great staff. Extremely convenient to both Central Park and times square
I was weary about traveling into the city during COVID. The staff made me and my fiancé feel so safe. They were friendly and kind, and our room was beautiful! Amazing views of the city! Everything was very clean and welcoming. From booking the room to check out everything was perfect. I just wish we could have stayed longer! 100% recommend!!!
Nice enough hotel.Smallish rooms, but a great location
Booked with them and had a question about their pet policy. Tried to reach them through booking.com, email and phone. Never got a response and they hung up on me after their automated answering machine. Cant recommend if you need to arrange anything more complicated in advance, no idea about their hotel itself.
Small but nice rooms, good to have coffee makers in the rooms as well as ice buckets and mini fridge. Ice machine is onlyvon the 35th floor, ice buckets are small. TV didnt have reception, staff was very friendly. Location is perfect for just about anything. 6 blocks from Central Park and not too far from the Hutson River. Places to eat and shop are all there.
Positive: Location and the staff were Very friendly. Negative: The room was clean except the phone had about an inch of dust and fuzzy stuff on it and the wood part over the head of the bed was very dusty. Had a few dust balls! Not good where you are breathing all night. Couldnt get coffee till 4?
Positive: Perfect CPS Location, but only minutes away from TS -, helpful staff, ease of getting bags unloaded and car valet parked; saved us a lot of time.
Location is hard to beat. Hells Kitchen steps away. Clogged shower drain and broken shower head were the only inconvenience.
Love the atmosphere and staff were courteous and supporting. Unfortunately, I didnt receive anything (promised to me by a nice Mgr.) for my troubles (extremely LOUD 🔊 noise, finding clothes and underwear in a drawer). Other than this one visit, I really enjoy being at this location.
Great location. Room was small but functional. Lobby had a persistent sewage smell for the duration of our stay.
Rooms were clean and nice. Bathroom was really nice too. Staff courteous and helpfull.
Positive: The location of the hotel - it was amazing view at night. Negative: The AC - it was pretty warm throughout the day. Cranked it lower but didn¿t bring the heat down.
Reason for visiting: stayed here while on vacationDate/time of visit: July 5-8Parking: n/a; I didnt park here but parking is ~$50/night, I believe. Its better not to park a car anyway since subway is near by.Party size: 17Environment/ambience: pretty tricky. Most navigation apps will lead you to the entrance on Broadway but loading/unloading is on 54th, along with being able to valet, etc. Rooms were ok; keycard needed to power the room but the do not disturb door signs keep falling off. Some of the room doors dont shut on their own, you should make sure your door is shut before leaving. Elevators can take forever since they try to limit the elevators to 2 people or 1 family at a time. The rooms were comfortable, not huge or anything. The view was good; I can see Broadway.Service: great. The guys that work the lobby are good, both the front desk and bellmen. No room service though. Elevators to the left (when facing the elevators) are for Residence Inn; elevators to the right are for Courtyard Inn (they only go up through Floor 35). Theres also a gym on the 35th floor.Food: morning breakfast was grab n go, on the 4th floor up through 9:30 AM. Bar is open during the day time; you can buy beers from the front desk as well. Theres a bar across the street when the bar is closed.Cost: ~$230/night, (no parking)
Spend few more bucks on a better location, especially if you require a good nights sleep.
Positive: Easy check in and check out and was also close to anything and everything.
Amazing, incredible, literal 5 star hotel and not so expensive for what it offers.
Outstanding location, all the major shops are close. You can walk anywhere. The central park is a few blocks from the hotel. Rooms are smaller than average hotels but very confy.
It was a nice room with plenty of options for entertainment .. lights was a bit confusing at first however overall a better break from the current situation Im in.
Very clean, housekeeping was great. Close to everything and the staff was very helpful. Enjoyed everything.
Positive: The room was very clean! The location was great and the staff was awesome!! Negative: No
Positive: Location Negative: First room was not clean. Second room tiny. Manager put me in a better clean room but miserable process! Still haven¿t heard from staff about charge on my card!
Positive: Nothing. Negative: Worst experience I¿ve ever had. Not happy AT ALL.
Great customer service friendly staff very clean hotel
Positive: Great service Friendly staff Negative: None
Very nice place. We enjoyed our stay.
Nice hotel, not too expensive
BE ALERT : Dont book this hotel. I have booked this hotel in Mar, 21 for my two day stay in Apr,21. On Mar 28th, they sent me an email and told me that my booking is cancelled due to covid. Before I booked this hotel, I went to check the google review and I found similar stories in last couple of months where people has booked this hotel and later come to know that their booking is cancelled. So, I proactively called them before I book their hotel room and they said the hotel is open and there is no problem and then they cancel my booking at the last minute.I believe they overbooked their hotel and then use covid as an excuse to cancel extra booking. I felt completely cheated by them. This is completely unethical. Dont book this hotel.
The noise is insane not just out side I can’t really here outside but someone staying here is so loud I can here them below me screaming and it happen last night as well they changed nothing I am on the 24th floor and if your the one making all this noise let us sleeeppp
I called this hotel in late March to verify when they would open. The phone attendant I was redirected to by the automated system verified they would be opening April 7th so I made reservations using Orbitz. When I arrived to check-in at 9pm on April 13th after a full day of air travel, not only was the hotel closed but there was no one available at any phone number or within the building to explain where the miscommunication had occurred. After an hour of phone calls, I hung up on an unhelpful Marriot phone attendant in Maine who’d had the misfortune of getting my multiple-times redirected call. Orbitz was similarly useless. On the bright side, I’ll never forget my first night in NYC, because I almost got to sleep on my luggage outside the storied Courtyard Marriot. Thanks for the fun story to tell people down the road when they ask if I’ve been to New York.
Continuation of review... air duct filthy
This is our second time coming to New York and decided to stay at this location once again after our first great experience. (Amazing corner room views!) This time around we came to celebrate my Fiancée and I anniversary. Our flight landed early in the morning so we were able to store our luggages at the hotel while the room was getting ready and walked around the city. Once the room was ready to check into, we came back and the front desk agent gave us our corner room in one of the highest floors possible, on the 33rd floor. Upon entering we noticed something was waiting for us on the table.. a bottle of Champagne and 2 small cheesecakes, with a lovely hand written card from the hotel! (Thank you Jamie for the hand written card and surprise) This gesture was so unexpected and it caught my Fiancée and I by surprise and gave us a huge smile. We loved that they went out of their way to provide such a wonderful experience as soon as we entered the room! Each time we comeback to New York rest assure we will be returning back to this property. By the way did i mention how amazing the views are from the room? Breathtaking!
Lovely rooms and excellent staff
Positive: Size of room, location, Negative: Elevator access and time to wait for it,
Easy check in, great location.
I booked one of their more luxury rooms a month in advance, received a confirmation, called the hotel to ask about parking, the lady said theres valet and all. After leaving my dog with pet sitter that costed me money and I arrived at the hotel I was informed by a security guard that the hotel is closed since March. So this is a huge scam, horrible don’t recommend. They could of let me know that it’s closed when I called! I’m going to make a complaint with better business bureau as well.
2 nights in a Corner King room to finish a 2 week holiday over Christmas. The view was incredible, the bed very large and super comfortable. Bathroom was a good size with a bath and separate shower cubicle (something I haven’t found too often in en-suite hotel rooms) but a slightly strange layout. Lighting was also slightly intense in the bathroom with neither providing a setting for mood lighting to relax in the bath nor providing a particularly natural light to dress/do makeup in the mirror. Room service were very attentive with the room being kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, as well as daily re-stocking the Keurig machine.Overall a great stay.
This hotel is in an excellent location. Walking distance to times Square, Central Park and lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel is modern. Bedroom is quite small but there were four of us in the room, 2 adults, 2 children so it was to be expected. The Starbucks on the fourth floor of the hotel was really convenient. The gym on the top floor was very well equipped. This is a busy hotel so you may have to wait on the lift from time to time. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Smaller rooms than Im used to in Europe, though I understand thats the norm in NYC. Facilities pretty basic but then we were in New York, we never intended spending any more time than necessary in the room. Excellent location for exploring Mid-Town and Central Park on foot. Hotel facilities could be better promoted/signposted. Theres a great bar on floor 4 that we only discovered whilst killing time waiting for our pick up back to the airport.
Not a good experience at all. Pulled the entire room amount out an entire month in advance when they said pay at the hotel. Two of the four elevators were broken our entire stay (5 days), making our wait for an elevator 10 minutes each time because there are 35 floors. Came down for breakfast at 10:30, EVERYTHING already cleaned up and put away, coffee flavor pumps completely out, cream not restocked. So much for sleeping in and having some breakfast and fresh coffee. Breakfast also not included with your stay, you have to pay extra per night to eat basic breakfast food. Fire alarms had a “false alarm” that went off for one of the nights for 30 minutes at 4:30 in the morning. Pulled a $20/night fee for anything you bought at the hotel, which is fine but it was not mentioned until we arrived at the hotel and we were tight on money for our stay already. Bartenders at the bar had bad attitudes, no smiling or conversation of any type, no hustle when busy. ATM not working on our last day. I highly recommend finding another hotel. Only thing good about it was the location.
Clean, nice and friendly staff.
I found a great rate online, so they decided to cancel my reservation 6 days before my check-in and told me the hotel was closed due to COVID-19. The hotel was actually open and accepting reservations. When I asked why they cancelled my reservation, they didn’t have a reason, but said that I can rebook for $1,800 more than I originally paid. Terrible experience for a loyalty member. Switching to Hilton for my future stays.
We were a little skeptical due to our high expectations of hotel service and cleanliness and were very pleased with this hotel. I must admit that I am somewhat of a hotel snob, and my family always looks to me for my reaction to a hotel that we havent stayed before. It was all great experience. Love the 4th floor gathering place...great for morning coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. Location is perfect to most anything you want to see and do in the city and the staff was friendly and helpful both before we arrived and while we were there. Rooms are small and we had two for family of 4, two teens and two adults. We will stay there again for sure and will recommend to friends looking for this type of hotel for their stay. Great Job!!
The Courtyard by Marriott Central Park was conveniently located to Columbus Circle, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and all of the shopping and sites. Slightly outside of the hustle bustle, this hotel was in the perfect location to all of the touristy parts of town. It was clean and the city view rooms had great views of the city. The Fitness Center on the 35th Floor had a GREAT view of the city and the bar on the 4th floor was big, comfortable and modern. The overnight rooms were clean and comfortable and had a modern design. The king size room was perfect to sleep my husband, myself and our 10 year old son. An affordable option that close to the sights and sounds of NYC? Who can ask for anything more?!
We were there in February last year. The location is amazing, close to everything especially to Central park. We had room on the 11th floor which has good view. The room was quite small but comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.
My reservation got cancelled by them and they didnt offer any compensation
I visited the city with my 11-year old and my adult son along with his girlfriend. I was a bit skeptical due to the price per night for our rooms. My room was on the 7th floor, and my son had a corner room on the 23rd floor. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. Our rooms were clean, and our turndown service was excellent. Their 4th-floor lounge was a beautiful touch, friendly waitstaff, and they even had live music on Tuesday evening. Our midtown location was ideal for an easy walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Bryant, and Central Park. We were delighted with our experience, and I would highly recommend the Courtyard/Manhatten/Central Park location. I plan to stay there again on our next visit to NYC.
Arrived at the check-in desk and was immediately struck by the helpful and sincere nature of the person checking us in, who did everything he could to accommodate us and make our stay pleasant. The room was exactly as we expected based on pictures. Staff was helpful meeting our requests. And the cocktail in the lounge was perfect! The location was also super-convenient for a night out including, drinks, dinner, a show and late night dancing!
I’m late in writing my review from our trip in Dec 2018. Staff was amazing- we notified them about our special anniversary and they went above and beyond. When we arrived, we were told our room was upgraded and had a spectacular view of downtown, champagne and dessert was waiting for us too. Location is perfect and allowed us to walk to Times Square, Central Park. We will definitely be staying here in the future!
The hotel is bang in between Times Square and Central Park. Easily found and check in was quick and easy.Rooms were a good size and provided everything we needed including iron, board and safe.Staff were great whenever we needed to speak to them and couldnt have been more helpful. We didnt eat at the hotel but did go to the restaurant/bar area on our last day which had Starbucks coffee.I would stay here again
Kimberly at the front desk is amazing, helpful and very kind. The rooms are small but thats expected in a big city. Its a bummer they dont include breakfast as other Courtyard Marriotts do, A/C works great in the rooms, nice assortment of pillows offered in the rooms, as well as coffees and teas (Keurig). Great location for tourists! Good city views. Noisy street with cars honking and emergency vehicle sirens.
For a midtown Manhattan hotel the location is great! Staff is super friendly and professional.Room was spotless and the hotel is very up to date. Rooms are small but that is normal in NYC. Even being small, they are well laid out, great bathrooms and very up to date in design. There is a safe in the room as well as a small frig. Valet parking is a breeze. Just remember the real entrance is on 54th st between 8th and Broadway. On the 4th floor is the bar/and coffee bar-mornings you can get quick food like an egg sandwich and other choices-very similar to what a Starbucks offers. The bar area is great to eat, or work in, tons of seating and huge windows to look out of.
Location was good for walking around. Not so good to find reasonably priced eating places. Hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. We booked and paid for a king/queen room with bath. After being give a double with no bath, we were moved to a bigger room the next night with.. a tiny bath (it came up to my calf!) which was no good for bathing in. Reception was adamant that no room or facilities were guaranteed, even if specified on booking and premium paid. I have never heard of this in any hotel before!?Bar was not good, had no atmosphere and did not offer a great choice of drinks and no specials (as advertised in the lift)! Overall, the location is the best thing about this hotel but I think there are many hotels around the same price that would offer better facilities and service. I have stayed in Marriott hotels many times and was confident of a high standard however I was disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Courtyard Central Park when we were in NYC. The hotel is centrally located, walking distance from Times Square, 7th Avenue, Broadway theatres, Central Park and the MoMA. Also it is very close to subway stations, with good connections to JFK airport and Jersey, to name a few. The room was spacious with a great city view. The bathroom was equipped with a big shower and was always clean. We only had food from the hotel restaurant twice, but food was always delicious. The staff at the hotel were always very friendly and attentive to our needs. We had an exceptionally great time at NYC and this hotel definitely contributed to this! Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
We’re seniors, decided to see play, and what better place to see one than NYC. This Hotel has amazing views, nice amenities, and is within walking distance of the theater district, we walked around 15 minutes to the Minskoff theater to see the “Lion King.” Great for couples, especially seniors (I’m 70) just wanting to get away, families, and groups. Thank you, and God bless. LB
Excellent place. Especially if you can get one of the top rooms. The view is astonishing both by day and night. Service at the desk is very helpful and housekeeping too. I had some issues at the beginning but with the support I got there is nothing to complain about.Rooms are relatively small however clean and well equipped so if you plan a visit in NYC consider staying at this hotel.
Our stay at the Marriott was wonderful. Pet friendly, nice fitness center. Laundry facilities, which we didnt use this time, but may in the future. Fabulous location. Walking distance of Patsys and Lincoln Center. Next time, I would try to get a larger room, if possible.
I took a two night get away with two of my children, ages 9 and 12. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. The location was absolutely perfect. Right in the middle of everything. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Courtyard/Central Park. While the room was small, the view and floor to ceiling window was awesome and made up for the size. And also, while I cant say anything outstanding about the hotel itself, it was clean, the elevators ran smoothly and the staff is outstanding. The checkin was quick and efficient. Probably one of the quickest Ive ever experienced. And Melissa made sure we were happy with our room and went above and beyond to do so. She actually went up to check on the availability and wait for us. We truly appreciated that. I would definitely visit this hotel again.
We stayed at your hotel on Fri, Jan. 17th When we first arrived, we were very pleased with the hotel itself, the location and the wonderful customer service. The reason for my low rating was it quickly went down hill. For starters, the elevators didnt work, we were in room 905, so it was essential the elevators worked properly. But my biggest complaint had to do with the smoke alarms going off from 3am to 5:30am, every 5 minutes or so! We could not sleep, could not enjoy our planned day in the city! It was unacceptable, especially since it was an issue with the system! I spoke to Megan W., The manager, who offered me a refund on our stay. She has not issued the refund and has not returned my calls! If you want quality service and a good nights rest, I advise you not to stay at this hotel!
Do not expect the quality of usual Marriott hotels. This is a very standard and rather gloomy 4* that would rather pass for a 3* hotel in terms of the overall experience. I have found more welcoming and luxurious BnBs than this room. Location is ideal though, a 10mn walk to Times Square and Central Park and right by the subway to it is utterly easy and convenient to get to/from. Id advise it for travellers who just want a king-size bed to sleep into and care not a second for the luxury experience. Mind me, this is a very clean, neat hotel but Id rather advise it to businessmen and for one-night stays. Decoration was mediocre, lighting was unwelcoming -and it is quite a hassle to have to manually activate literally every lamp in the room.I stayed just the night which is fine but had I booked a longer stay, I would have changed hotels. Also : there was a construction site across the street from my room. I wasnt warned of this. It went on all night long...
We recently stayed at this location for the first time and had a great experience. We had a king corner room. It was spacious (including the bathroom) with excellent views. It was also reasonably priced for the location. We will definitely stay here again!
Great help/service from the very arrival right to the departure.Reception staff - Wioleta & Kimberley need mentioning for their friendly attitudes and sense of humour. All the staff very helpful. The hotel is located in a great position on Broadway, halfway between Times Square and Central Park/Columbus Circle. We could see Times Square from our windows. We would definitely stay here again.
I loved my room, was comfy and with a great view. Personal was great. I only wish they had streaming services on the TV or at least a way to connect my phone to the TV. I dont really watch cable. But not big deal since I end up using my computer to watch some movies. The hotel has a perfect location for going jogging in the park and close to the metro. Highly recommend.

Amazing find, price and room were amazing, you cant ask for much more when this close to all the action. My wife and i go to NYC as much as we can and have never stayed here before. That will be a change from now on. We are simple people and will look for a great deal always but never mind being a consumer when the product you recieve is this good. Great place. See you soon
My family and I originally wanted to stay in Times Square but the high prices forced me to look at other properties. And Im so glad I did. We stayed in a Corner King Room with TS views and it. Was. INCREDIBLE. Absolutely beautiful views of Times Square, walking distance to all the tourist spots we wanted to see.A little disappointed that breakfast was not included (since Im sure it was part of my package) but that did not take away from our time spent at the hotel. Highly recommend this property!!
Location is great, styling is great. Its a fine place to stay - we just had water pressure problems. It comes, it goes, with a mind of its own. This isnt even a first world problem; were talking running water! Wed return though.
My wife and I cashed in my SPG points for a few nights getaway in Manhattan. The hotel is nice and modern, very clean and very comfortable. The room was a bit small but quiet and relaxing. It was nice to be able to come back mid-day or late at night and rest up. Well-situated between Central Park and Times Square, two minutes from 50th St. Station which will get you to Whitehall/WTC/Canal etc quickly. We were able to see tons of attractions in only a few days using the Courtyard as our hotel. Highly recommended if you want a getaway in NYC thats quiet, clean, comfortable, and affordable.
Like the location. Room is best for one person. Had a half corner room which was nice but it was tight getting around the bed. Theres room for at least one person to open their luggage on the floor. Bathroom is very tight and, again, if traveling with a companion just let them get ready then once they are done 2nd person can get ready. There IS a really great mirror on the far side of the room from bathroom which was appreciated. I wouldnt want to pay more than 150 - 180/night for a room like this. The elevator situation is problematic so leave 10 minutes early to allow at least 5 to catch an elevator if its busy time. We pretty much could get every 3rd elevator that came by.
This place is great. I was treated with respect, and even was provided an upgraded room on the elite level. Rooms were cleaned to perfection on the daily. I did have an issue with AC, but they came up and fixed it as quickly as possible. I also found a cockroach one morning. Gross! BUT, to be fair, there are thousands of people from all over the world hitting this hotel. Im sure the staff is doing everything they can to control pests. Overall, a great hotel.
The room was perfect and it was close to everything. However I left my ring at the hotel and forgot about it until it was too late. I call and the hotel said they check but there’s no way you check in 5 minutes in a slow service elevator. I kept calling and ask to be called back, but I never received a call back. I been looking and trying to find it. It’s been 8 months and still nothing. Please anyone that works for the hotel or even to people that stayed if you find it please let me know. It’s a 14k gold diamond solitaire 1 carat ring, the front is frosty with one of the diamond holders being crooked. Thank you .
I stayed here with my boyfriend for his birthday. I upgraded to the corner room with the view of Times Square. Definitely worth upgrading! The view was amazing! I’ve never gotten such a great city view before! The location of the hotel is also great! Right near Times Square which is nice if you are into that. It was also pretty close to Madison Square Garden which is nice if you’re going to hockey game like we were. It’s about a 25 minute walk or a really easy/quick subway ride away. The room itself was really nice in addition to a great view. It did show some signs of wear and could have maybe used a deep clean but it didn’t feel dirty though. The hotel staff was super friendly and they even gave us free breakfast because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. The breakfast was pretty good but not super exciting. No waffles/pancakes anything like that. Coffee was good though and the breakfast sandwich I had was pretty tasty. I’d suggest getting breakfast elsewhere if it’s not included just because it’s expensive and not really anything special. Overall it was a great experience and we had a great time! I’m definitely glad we stayed there and will probably be back! I HIGHLY recommend getting the corner room on a high floor. It was JUST like the pictures online. Such a beautiful view of NYC and that definitely made it more special!
My wife and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. We chose a corner room with monumental view. The room was located on the 20th floor and had a great view of Times Square which was just a few blocks away. The room has a great modern style. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is within walking distance of Times Square and is a block or two away from multiple subway stops.
