My wife and I are from Colorado; we stayed here for 4 nights in September 2021. The hotel is spotless clean, and everything has been maintained in great working order. We stayed on the 18th floor - nice and quiet, and the elevator was fast and smooth. Small room, but very efficient. King bed was very comfortable, AC worked awesome. Wifi was solid (though had to log in again daily - once we knew that, no biggie). The bathroom was spacious; plenty of clean towels. The shower was really nice - two heads, and no leaks. And the staff was helpful, with a nice coffee & danish bar downstairs. But know this: the neighborhood is pretty rough. Oh, you are walking distance to Times Square, Broadway, Empire State. But be prepared for lots of homeless, trash and smells. But there are also lots of police, and the hotel has good security. I would stay again.

Perfectly located just 3 minutes walk from Times Square. The rooms are very very small, sometimes uncomfortably small.Staff was great and helpful.Due to Covid there is no breakfast and no housekeeping- I really dont understand why (especially when paying full price)...I have been in many hotels around the world and they all had breakfast and housekeeping (during the pandemic).

I had the pleasure of staying here this past March with my mom. Although we live in NYC, we wanted a little staycation. The room was very clean and the window had a beautiful view. We had some difficulty with the light but someone was available to quickly fix it.Additionally, I had shared that it was my mother’s birthday and when I came back to the room from going out to dinner, we found balloons, chocolates, and a card from the staff. Never gotten such amazing customer service. Would certainly go again.

No breakfast, no coffee, zero complimentary refreshments in lobby. I travel full-time and even during the height of COVID, other hotels didn’t fail to provide basic breakfast and coffee. It’s now late June 2021. I’m not required to wear a mask or social distance in public, yet Marriott’s flagship Courtyard in the heart of NYC says walk to Starbucks for my morning coffee because they can’t serve breakfast? Wrong answer.

It was one of my best hotel experience ever. From check in to check out- their cuatomer service was on point. The room were spacious, nice and clean. Our check out time was at 12 pm. But, I requested them to hold our bag until 4:30 pm as we still had plans in the city. They did so without any extra fees. The frontline staff was very accommodating. After checking out, they let us leave our luggage there until it was time for our train. Their cafeteria has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic, so you will need to get breakfast somewhere else. Also, the free wifi doesnt work at all but that is kind of normal

I was in town for a short visit for a medical procedure. This hotel was one of the best hotels stays I’ve ever had in New York. I booked my room based off reviews. I feel it’s important I share my feedback as well. I had inquired of a few things the day before my stay here and felt welcomed prior to arriving. At check in Bryan was who I spoke with and he remembered helping me over the phone. He welcomed me in such a warm way it put my fears of being in the city was put at ease. I am immune compromised and I felt safe here. The next morning you could tell there was a genuine concern he had for how I was doing. I needed that kindness more than I can convey. The amenities such as the gym and breakfast are not open due to covid but they were nice. It was a very nice stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area. We arrived before check in time, she was able to get us in a room early. She was so excited that my daughter was celebrating her birthday in NYC. She was able to give us breakfast for the next morning. Ms. Gyselle also gave us some great ideas of where to go and how to get around. She also thought of us when another customer had to leave unexpectedly. They gave her four tickets to the Met to give to someone that would enjoy the museum. She thought of us!! We took a cab to the hotel from Grand Central and it cost about $8 US. Check-in was friendly, easy and fast. The rooms arent overly big, but have room for a king, a desk, a comfy chair and a fridge to put your snacks. Bathrooms are nice and are a good size. The bed was super comfy and the room was quiet. We never saw one person cleaning, but somehow every day when we came back from sightseeing, our rooms was made-up and clean. Although we didnt have breakfast included, we ate at the hotel twice just because there didnt seem to be a lot of healthy options or a spot where you can sit and relax near the hotel. Breakfast was okay but very expensive for what you got and because they had the room temperature so cold in the restaurant area, the food was cold in a matter of minutes. If you love bagels you should try the Best Bagel and Coffee a few blocks away. Super fresh food and so yummy. Only opened during the week though. You should also try the happy hour at the hotel (between 5-6:30) and if you do, say hi to our favourite bartender Johansen.

When we picked it up later in the day, the guy at the front desk even asked us if we needed to use the restroom or needed anything else before we left, which I thought was super nice of him. Definitely felt welcomed here. The room was small but that’s New York. Both room and bathroom were clean. Didn’t go to the restaurant or the bar so not sure how that is but they do have a happy hour each day with discounts for drinks. The location is very convenient. If you’re arriving to Penn Station, it’s 5-10 minute walk. Also it’s walking distance to Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and about 20-30 minute walk to Central Park. If you need to get to other places in the city, there are several subway stations nearby so very convenient.

We spent 7 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott Manhattan/Times Square West. From the time we arrived until we left, the staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. I even felt the bed was comfortable, even as the sore muscles spoke loudly at night. We ate downstairs some and the food was good. Okay banana nut french toast...mmmm. It was a great location for walking and walking... and walking to many places.

I was extremely happy. The facilities were very nice and well maintained and I had everything I needed. Also the staff was extremely friendly. They took care of all my needs and always greeted me when I left or came back to the hotel. My only complaint is that they dramatically raised their hotel prices due to the convention which I have always found to be abuse, but this is more the corporations fault and greed. Other than that, I am very likely to stay at this hotel again. Thank you very much for one of my best hotel experiences!

We had to make a last minute change in our hotel and were very fortunate to get to the courtyard. Great location with access to theater district as well as a 2 block walk to use Penn Station subway. Staff was extremely helpful, room was snug but clean and comfortable. Breakfast coffee and food was fresh hot and served w a smile. This has become our new NYC location

The room had 2 queen beds, bath, iron and board, coffee maker, little fridge, hair dryer, rain type shower head. Free breakfast. 4 pm check in 12 noon checkout. Second day stay was priced matched with another comp hotel. Price was high because it was UN week. Would return.

During my stay I would like to say I have experienced some of the best service I have ever experienced. Very friendly staff ! Angel was amazing made my check in fast and was able to give me directions to where ever I asked. Joseph helped me with my bags and was able to point me in the right direction as well.(I get lost easy). Room was clean and pristine. Definitely recommend staying here.

Decibels are not the right scale to measure how much noise you are exposed to when staying at the Marriott. The Richter scale is more appropriate. Nights have been a constant mix of drill hammering and police sirens from 11pm to 7am. This is not a place where anyone can realistically sleep. The staff at the front desk does not have ear plugs to offer. They will just tell you that they cannot do anything about it - that the city does construction work without notice (sure)...Also my room has not been cleaned in four days.

If you are traveling to the Manhattan area I would highly recommend this Marriott Hotel. Great location, Great Service and Best in Class Staff. The staff goes well beyond the normal check-in process. They suggest local restaurants, attractions, and quick tips about New York! You will also receive emails from their local GM before your arrival asking of any needs you may have. My work requires travel so I stay with many hotels and different Marriotts around the States- my opinion 5 Stars. Phillip

Very clean hotel in great location. Staff super nice. Bar not stocked for most drinks on menu. Room small. Only one chair per room. Would have liked a larger room, but fine for our needs. They have a happy hour, but need to keep their bar stocked.

Fantastic location - very close to Penn Station and Times Square. Location was pretty quiet in terms of noise as well. The rooms are small, but that is New York for you. Everything in the room was well maintained and clean, which is a huge plus. Staff were very friendly, and when we come back to NYC, this will be the first place I look!

Nice, large clean room with 2 queens on ninth floor(917.) Big enough for 3 adults. Good bathroom lighting. Large bathroom. Refrigerator. Decent closet. Wonderful, friendly and efficient front desk. Great bellman went out of his way to get us a taxi from down the street in the pouring rain. Not much of view. Breakfast had several choices for reasonable cost. Evening happy hour half priced beer, wine and cocktails. Several food choices as well, also reasonably priced. Not open at lunch. Had to call for help with internet service but was easily resolved in a few minutes. A few blocks from subway. Walking distance to Hudson Yards, Broadway shows and large shopping area. Was very pleased with stay.
