Thieves! Machine didn’t work and too $5 from me, which the employees wouldn’t refund.
Best aspect is the location, obvs. But you better be ready to pay for it, because its 2-3 times more expensive than a normal Manhattan residential laundromat. Example, medium wash costs $7.75 whereas the same size wash load at my usual laundromat on UWS costs $4.50. Second example, the dryers are 5-min per quarter inserted whereas at my UWS regular place you get 8-min for each quarter. Im not being cheap, just saying that hey, it adds up. But again, response estate always says its about location. The washers work well and the dryers are actually properly heated so things get dry. No damp surprises when you get home. Plus it does seem surprisingly clean.
Keep in mind during this pandemic they close at 8PM NOT 11:30 ! I’m unsure why the correct times aren’t advertised but just thought I’ll help someone out.
Clean and modern. But no bathroom.
Good service
Ive gone to this dry cleaner for years. Definitely not the best place in Chelsea, but its super convenient from where I live so I stuck around. I recently dropped off two garments: a trench coat and a dress, both from Club Monaco. These garments came back as dirty as they were when I dropped them off. I think they might have pressed them, but thats it. I asked the guys and they said no problem well send it back. I come back and the exact stains are there and look untouched.I tell the manager that I shouldnt have to pay him for clothes that were supposed to be clean and he tells me then I simply will not get my clothes back and put them at the far end of the room.I told him let me show you the stains and I shouldnt have to pay because I could literally get whatever was stuck on my jacket sleeve with a light pick with my nail. Hes like I see it, but if youre not pleased with this service we can send it back again or you pay today - no matter what, youre paying. I explained that this service was not working, hadnt worked yet and they said fine, we wont but well be keeping your clothes unless you pay. At this point this guy and I literally both have an arm of the dress of my sleeve and hes trying to take it back with him and Im saying no. It was getting out of hand, so I begrudgingly gave him my credit card so I could get out of that place.DO NOT COME HERE. Im telling you, the dry cleaning is horrible and the employees are so rude and feel completely OK yelling at customers.
Plenty of space, been going there for years !!!
Wish there was an option for 0 stars. Just got my laundry back and all of my expensive workout clothes are missing. The man who works there tried to play it like its no big deal and was the least helpful. As I was walking out, a man who was doing his laundry there said that 3 other girls came in before me with the same complaint. Do not send your laundry here- anywhere else will be better
Thats the first self-service laundromat Ive ever used but I liked it. You can do your lanudry in an hour: wash it and dry it. Machines are easy to use, the staff doesnt bother the customers and the most important: there is a machine that exchanges bills to coins.
Really bad homeless situation there and has gotten progressively worse
They public business hour close at 11:30. I come at 10:00. They donot allowed me to laundry. But I move heavy staff.Be careful about that thai man. Around 35. Skinny. He donot even say sorry for the inconvenience. But try to overcharge and fight with his customer.
This is a great laundromat, the prices are decent given its location in Chelsea. Quiet, and yes its warm in here but its full of Dryers, Id be more worried if it were freezing...
I didnt know a laundromat could be so clean... and functional. The machines are well manged and serviced regularly, owned by friendly people as well. Worth the extra few blocks if you arent super close.
Theft!! Someone is stealing workout gear (lululemon, outdoor voices) from womens laundry bags if you have them wash your laundry. Recently had 2 pairs of leggings and a top stolen on Sunday. My friend had Lulu leggings stolen on the same day (Sunday) from laundry that was also dropped off. When she went in to report it another customer said she was the 3rd person that day reporting a theft. Find another laundromat!
Its fine. Normal standard for a laundromat place. Some of the employees are helpful and kind, some others, likely the person who is in charge, is bad tempered.
Supposedly opens at 8 AM on Sunday. Here I am sitting outside still waiting to do my laundry at 8:20 because nobody is here. Lights are off and doors are locked. Don’t say you’re open at a certain time if you’re not. New Yorkers don’t have the time to waste on your incompetence.
Very clean and modern launderette
Extremely rude and racist staff.
If they plan on closing early, they should post signs or at least tell the people doing their laundry. If you do your laundry here, confirm what time they plan on closing.
Sitting in the location as I type... sweat is running down my back and legs because its hotter than you know what in here!! This is ridiculous!! Turn the a/c on!
UPDATE YOUR HOURS
Never wait for washers or dryers
