We went to wash a washable carpet i bought. They would not let me use the machine and said if I wanted to wash it. It would be $50. Why wouldnt I be able to wash my own carpet ? Also i have gone there before and washed it. They charged me $10, which was ridiculous but i had agreed. Also the rug doesnt need to be dried and they still were trying to rip me off.
Went here for first time as my buildings laundry room is under renovation.I went with 1 small load. It was almost $5!!!!!!! just for the wash. I didnt bother drying. I was too afraid to ask the cost. Person working there was VERY cranky, not to mention greedy. ($1 for a bag to put my wet clothes in, which I declined.) And you KNOW hes not paying taxes since its a cash-only business for the self-service washers and dryers.
This laundry shop is the only shop I trust with my clothes! They are the ones who guarantee me that they will wash my clothes properly and make sure that the money I am paying is worth it!
The people who work there are very nice and helpful. They cleaned my clothes very well and it smells really good. The best part? I got my laundry the same day! Their dry cleaning is very cheap too. Highly recommended.
I have been using this laundromat for the last few months and have been more than happy with the results. The owner is extremely helpful and unbelievably friendly. Also, lots of seating available which is a huge plus. Highly recommended
This is a fine establishment, and the owner is very courteous. On one occasion I had just purchased an anti-wrinkling agent in order to dewrinkle a shirt I just purchased 1 day prior to a job interview, and the shirt remained somewhat wrinkled the next day. I then explained to the owner that I had an interview in 2 hours and the spray did not remove all of my wrinkles. The owner then took my shirt, and steam pressed the shirt to perfection for free, and then told me good luck. Needless to say I will be a repeat customer as should you all.
Great service quality and staffs are very friendly and accommodating. All our clothes looked so clean and smelled so great. Definitely coming back to get dirty clothes done here ;0
Charges more than listed, prices one-piece dress as a 2-piece suit. How come it takes 2-full business days and $16.75 to clean a silk dress? I thought it should be either or, but this place takes both. Ridiculous.
Very friendly, efficient staff! My building does not have laundry service, and this place is my #1 go to spot
Drop and fold is awesome. Best price in the neighborhood and friendly service.
This place is excellent! I was in town for business and did not want to pay the ridiculous prices that the hotel charges for valet laundry so I sought out a coin operated laundromat near the Grand Hyatt with a decent review. I found this one which was only 10 minutes away on foot and set out for the hike. This place is very clean and the workers are very attentive and friendly. They have everything that you need on site including cash to quarter changers, detergent dispensers and ample room to fold your clothes. I was very impressed with this laundromat and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in this area of NYC.
Not clean. cranky owner. 25 cents for 3 minutes of dryer time. very over priced. unbearably hot inside.
Dont Go to This LaundromatI went to this laundromat because my washing machine broke. I needed to use the large machine that cost 34 quarters and I was short four quarters. The owner/manager is extremely rude. I asked if he could change one dollar worth of change into quarters and he couldnt even do that because they dont take dimes and nickels. The place is very dirty with so much dust and dirt on the floor I kept sneezing. The dryers are over priced at twenty five cents for 3 minutes. SMDH
My boyfriend dropped off some dry cleaning. When he went to pick it up they only gave him one of his pants and a pair of women pants. He went to return the womens pants and when he got his other pair of pants, the Hugo boss logo was removed. We went in on a Saturday so we could speak with the owner Romain Hong an he was incredibly rude. He did not apologize - in fact, he insinuated that we gave him the pants already damaged and wanted to check the video camera to verify. We said okay, but asked when we could expect to hear back. He started raising his voice and screaming at us. I was in shock by how he was getting in my face and screaming. He at one point threatened to call 911 and wanted us to leave. Completely psychotic. When we had gone in and given our phone number to look up our ticket # there was nothing in his system. Nothing was documented. Luckily we had taken a picture of our ticket number. The place has made so many mistakes. It was extremely small and dirty but beyond that, the customer service was literally the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I have never had a man get in my face and scream at me and threaten to call 911. This place is a joke. Do not go there if you expect to get your clothes back, get them back undamaged, or want to see them again!
Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a vending machine for detergents and for change. The dry cleaning service is quick, thorough and very reasonably priced. The waiting area has seats and a table.
It’s just a good clean laundromat. People who work there are friendly and nice.
Good place to do yourself your laundry. They can provide all you need. They are friendly and guide you to use the facilities. We are on holidays in NYC. Highly commended.
Very dirty & a homeless man lives in there. I never seen a laundromat so dirty in my life. Maybe its a Newburgh thing because the laundromat in NYC are never dirty.
Dirty place. They gave me another persons shirt mixed in with my stuff. I went to return it and find my missing shirt. The owner was extremely rude and did nothing about the fact that he lost my shirt. When I had gone in, another women was complaining about her lost laundry so I knew it would not look good for me. I did not receive an apology or any type of compensation. Never going here again!
Very friendly and excellent service. Cheap rates for wash and fold, or you can take care of it yourself in their machines. If youre nice and leave a tip you can get same day service for your regular laundry.
My experience reflects the views of everyone else who has visited this. The staff were helpful and the machines were maintained and plentiful. Hotel services are a rip-off, go here!
Always clean, always pleasant. Ive had my laundry done and also used the self service without a single problem. Bring cash, they dont take cards.
Horrible pick up and delivery.I needed this outfit to be washed on time, and they delivered me anothers persons clothes. I storm there asking them where my clothing is, and the man seems so unbothered by it, as if its a my issue. He cant find it. I ask for my money back and the man is hesitant to even reimburse me. He calls me 2 hours later saying he found it and asks for the money back... the audacity!
Super kind staff :)For reference, it costs 18 quarters ($4.50) to wash and $0.25 for every 3 minutes of dry time. I usually set the machine for about a half hour ($2.50)
Same experience as every one else... Extremely friendly staff and very helpful.. Machines were easy to use and every thing you need is on sight.
Overpriced laundromat.To wash it’s 38 quarters.To dry it’s 3 min for 1 quarter.Highway robbery.Period.
Excellent staff, service and price. Cant ask for more than that. Will return next time I am in town on business.
I did my laundry and they mixed my clothes with some other persons. I asked about it and they said that I dont have proof that they did anything wrong. Horrible service. They didnt even apologize.I wouldnt recommend this place!!!!!
Never coming back here again!! Had a fire in my building and only our washers were working afterwards. I came to dry my clothes and got kicked out because the manager or whoever he was said that its for customers only. He was gonna make 20 bucks off me easily and I told him my situation he didnt care. I was appaled.
Clean and Nice laundromat with kindness. Thank you.
What a dump! Be warned that this is under disorganized new management and no longer Goodly Laundry as the listing indicates. When it was Goodly Laundromat, I trusted them to do my laundry on a drop off basis because they did a great job and the place was always tidy. When I came in and saw customers laundry in disarray on the floor, I opted to do it myself because I wasnt comfortable with leaving my laundry with them seeing the disorganization. There was even a customer complaining that her articles of clothing were mixed in with someone elses laundry. The owners were very nasty to her and stated that she can try to sue them, but good luck. The new management is nasty and have no regards for peoples clothing let alone, common customer courtesy. Prices are up, service is down and the new owners are extremely arrogant. Stay away from this place at all costs if you care about your clothes and the way you are treated.. There are other drop off options in the neighborhood.
Always friendly and they do a great job at reasonable prices. Best in Manhattan especially for travellers
Helpful staff, reasonable rates ($5 for a load - wash + detergent, excluding drying), free WiFi and table at waiting area
Very friendly and helpful. Helped me to operate the machines as a first time user.
The owner is plain rude and obnoxious. The laundry service is meh - still a lot of spots left...please trust over reviews - the “management” of this place is a joke.
Great place to drop off or go in and do urself.
Helpful staff. Very friendly. Well maintained machines.
Perfect solution for extended stay. Washed and dried a load for $5.
The boss is very rude and charged me 10 usd more, his scale is wrong
I take self service, very cheap, excellent attention, everything is clean

Thanks for doing business with CleanLaundry.
Cheap, fast and perfect.
Very good
Clean, cheap rate in this area.
Clean, friendly, comfortable.
Went to this laundromat while I was visiting nyc. I havent used a laundromat in a long time and was stumbling through the process. The owners (really sweet older asian couple) would come help me when they saw I didnt know what to do. They were also working so hard washing and folding all of the drop offs. The owner saw me standing outside waiting for the dryer to finish and he came out to show me a place I could sit down the block. I really appreciate these small gestures of kindness and want to better at recognizing them!
Korean owner aunt, friendly and cheap
