Uplift spa is a charming place. The music provides a very relaxed ambiance and the receptionists Alexi and Lisbeth are very knowledgeable and personable. I arrived a little late but they were very accommodating and when I went back to get my treatment (laser hair removal on my beard for a permanent line up) the technician was super friendly and brought me up to speed with how the process works. It was very cool to learn what was happening and what the machine was doing. It made me feel confident in my decision and reduced any anxiety I had about it. I’ve never had a wax or anything so I was worried it would be super painful.All in all, I loved the place, the people, and the prices! 10/10 recommend

I come here for laser hair removal in my Brazilian, stomach and underarms. I’ve had 5 sessions so far and I’m so glad I committed to the process. It takes patience to see results, since the laser can’t remove all you hair in one shot, but now after 5 sessions, I barely have to shave 🤩! The staff is super friendly and make you feel amazing. Especially Lisbeth!

Amazing spa ! There are not many spas in the East Harlem area but even if I were to live far away I would totally travel because of how amazing the service is. They provide a great variety of treatments for great prices. There is an amazing ambiance and everything is perfectly explained. I have noticed a difference when I come here. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to uplift spa for a few months now and my experience has been nothing less than amazing. My technician is Adriana and she has made me feel very comfortable and at home for every single appointment. I feel as though I have been a client of theirs for years now. She keeps me calm and talks to me throughout the process. Sometimes I even forget about the pain (very minimal) because we are so deep in conversation. Every time I go to my appointment I get excited inside because I enjoy the staff and my experience. They are all so very friendly, compassionate and professional. I’m happy to be a client and I recommend them to my friends, family and anyone else out there. I wonder what I will do when I am done with all of my laser treatments because I will miss it so much.

I found Uplift spa after receiving a general ad about spa week specials in NYC and now Ive been a customer for over a year. Ive had multiple laser treatments in many different areas. In comparison to other locations their prices are competitive with monthly specials. My tech is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I dont hesitate recommending their services to my friends. Guaranteed if you become a customer you wont be disappointed! Highly recommended.

I was worried about being late but the minute I walked in they helped me relaxed and not rushed. The smell inside was so soothing and relaxing. I was offered tea and had my coat and bag brought to the room for me to change. Michelle was AMAZING! not only was it a facial but she helped me understand my skin and the dos and donts with my skin and gave me tips on what i currently do as my routine and how to better it. The spa itself was super relaxing i enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for such a great experience for my 1st facial every. I will definitely be coming back 😇❤️

I go here for laser hair removal and I can attest that Uplift Spa is amazing! The place is very clean, bright, and stocked with refreshments.The staff is very helpful! (And even allowed me to use their charger when my phone was low on battery)I had never had laser hair removal before, but I quickly felt at ease and became comfortable with the process once I started hereI believe the laser they use is formulated to be more effective on the skin of people of color, which is one of my main motivations behind choosing this spa.I would highly recommend Uplift Spa!

Ive gotten my underarms laser and the treatment worked well, so happy about my results. Im in the process of a Brazilian laser and its looking pretty good. This was my first time getting a facial done and I had no idea how things were going to turn out but I had the pleasure of getting my facial done with Casilda. I had a brightening facial, micro dermabrasion & extractions done. She was amazing! She made me feel very relaxed and brand new. She explained what was needed on my face, and some tips to take care of my skin better. Once the facial was done, I felt like my skin was so lightweight and fresh! Yasmine was very open and happy to answer any of my questions. She was also very reassuring in that her machine caters to brown and dark brown skin (Im around Issa Rae complexion). I am half way through my laser treatment but I saw results after the first treatment. Its also clean and has great customer service. Im glad I chose this spa!

Came in for some LED Light Therapy last week when I was suffering from my cold and migraine. Yasmine took me right away, and infused essential oils with my session...it was AMAZING! I finally felt relief, which actually lasted! I bought Young Living Oils - Deep Relief for muscle and headache pain and Breathe Again for my congestion. Uplift Spa is really a great space for wellness...highly recommend it.

I had a Champissage Ayurvedic massage with Yasmine for the first time & I had a great experience! It’s a dry head & neck massage that also uses energy work. It definitely unblocked something for me & I felt more relaxed! Also Yasmine is very sweet & welcoming:)

I got the champissage by Yasmine. It was very good and I would recommend everyone get it. It is a little unorthodox but the champissage needs to be taught to massage specialists in America. You guys dont know what youre missing out on. This was the Mehta School of Champissage which is usually too gentle for my taste. Thankfully, Yasmine was nice enough to give me a more vigorous version. Very therapeutic. Slept like a baby. Thanks Yasmine!

Horrible! I call this lady on the phone three times she rude and tell me what do even want. Then she wouldnt let speak to manger then has nerve to tell me she only one in the spa. Then the first time I called booked until July 3rd. Then as a call but she only one answering the phone but is so called busy. Like DO NOT COME HERE.
