My experience at Skin Spa was top of the line. From the moment I walked in, I felt so relaxed, calm, and a beautiful energy. Soria was incredible and truly cared about my experience and skin. She suggested an add on that was completely worth it. I didn’t feel pressured to by products and immediately trusted her expertise. I already scheduled another appointment because of this experience.

I love these guys. Everyone at the reception to rest of the personnel is always very nice and helpful. Never had a bad experience with them. I have only done laser sessions and have been always very pleased. Yelena is THE BEST laser technician I’ve ever worked with. She is absolutely fantastic at what she does and how she explains everything, treatments showed great results fairly soon.

I am absolutely happy with my treatments at Skin Spa (midtown west on 57street!!). It’s been about a year my husband and I started go there religiously every month(sometimes twice a month) and we both see the amazing results!! I do “classic facial” combined with “laser genesis” on each session, my husband do “time eraser”. It gives decade younger looking, without any makeup, skin is fresh and glowing like porcelain. My aesthetician Alina is the BEST in town. She has the magic hands!!! The only down side is she is always “booked” so have to make reservations a month ahead. Don’t waste $$ for expensive Serum/Cream like I used to do.. Laser is THE answer!!!

The place is nice and Malcolm at the reception is very kind. The massages are also well done. However, there is no transparency on the prices: if you book a package, the tip is not included and the tip required is based on the original price, not the price you actually should pay based on the package. The employees complain to you that they are underpaid asking you to leave a higher tip which brings the price up to any other place: so there is no convenience in the prices they sell you as discounted. Also these complaints make you feel uncomfortable and don’t allow you to enjoy your massage. If you write to them about these circumstances, no one actually answers you. I was 9 months pregnant and they really stressed me instead of relaxing me as it is supposed to.

Clean and spacious spa. I wasn’t necessarily happy with my service but it could be a preference of what I consider a facial. I tried microdermabrasion and it seemed to not have done much to my skin. The suction was kinda weak. The staff member who did my treatment was extremely nice I believe her name was Jen. Receptionist was nice as well. Tip is in cash. Rooms are a good size.

I have been coming to Skin Spa for a few years but just recently started coming to the 57th St location and have had a wonderful experience. The front desk is so friendly and well informed and Ken was so patient and helpful in explaining all the packages. I have done facials, Laser Genesis and Forma treatments with Yelena and she is the best, and I have had appointments over the years with numerous people so I can appreciate her expertise. Yelena takes her time and has magical hands. She is also very sweet and professional and an expert. She is very detail oriented and truly appreciate all the time she has spent with me. I highly recommend this location and think Skin Spa is a great value and very well run. Thank you!

I have been coming here for almost 2 years for my facials and massages. While Vanessa, the woman who did my massages has retired, Yelena, the lady who does my facials has been my A -1 since day 1!!! My skin has turned around for the better since its been in her hands. Shes very knowledgeable and speaks to your skin issues specifically. Mine were textured, clogged and dry skin with uneven skin tone. With consistent membership visits (yes Ive missed a month or few here and there) my skin tone is even, the texture is smooth and the dry skin is gone. Yes, you have to maintain your skin care routine or bump it up at home, but what good is an at home routine without a great professional doing the heavy work? Invest in Yelena and youll be investing in your skin.

Clean, friendly, unpretentious, fair pricing especially if you get packages. Evas facials are on point. She attacked my face (extractions) with great care. Her attention to detail wasnt always pleasant and relaxing, but it was absolutely necessary.

My service went great with my estheticians ! Just wish my Groupon deal was explained before getting the facial. And MAYBE next time have a better approach towards tipping.. Instead of handing me a pen and telling me theres the envelope(to tip). Tip is a choice its not mandatory... You tip based off the experience. Unless it is included in price..

Worst facial I’ve ever had.Was running late and tried to call twice to tell them and was put on hold both times. They then called me to see where I was and I came in 15m late. They cut my session, that was already only 50m short. Extraction was terrible and my skin after was dull and dry. They also did no clean up under my eye for the mascara that fell. Luckily I caught it myself on the way out.Unprofessional. Poor service. Terrible facial.UPDATE 2/23They sent me one email. I emailed back and they never followed up to address this post.Great track record 👌 reinforces their terrible customer service.

I love this location! I’ve been a member for 3 years, had the same girl take care of my face for all eternity, Katrina Cheng is the real MVP! Professional, friendly, gentle, and an all around pleasure to be around. I wouldn’t trade her for the world! And the staff is very pleasant as well. Malcom, the manager, always makes sure I get a great deal! Clean face for a fair price, can’t beat that anywhere else.

Will never go back. I’ve been a customer of nearly all the locations of skin spa, took a 4 year hiatus until recently decided to give microdermabrasion a try here. Wildly inconsistent experience, manager unwilling to help.

Walked down to the location and the women who answered the door didnt speak any English. Just showed me a paper to go to a different location located on the E57th, which was totally out of my way from my office. They should have a sign down stairs that they are booked or changing location something. Unfortunately wasnt able to get a massage during my lunch break.

It was ok. Not much consistency from the employees and always trying to get you to leave a lot of tips. Not very good results from my laser hair removal treatment because everytime I went someone different was there. Even the girl who was taking care of me at first quit...not very good place to take care of your skin

As a first timer it was amazing! I had a great person who was kind and gently. However, they do book fast so dont try and pull a last minute.

Barno has nasty attitude, she is unprofessional and I am surprised that they would allow someone with that demeanor to work there. I have been going to skin spa for a several years and have never felt so mistreated.

This was my 1st experience and it will be my last. The front desk was very rude. The beautician seemed like she was trying to get rid of me as fast as possible. I visit spas once month and I never encountered such a disrespectful experience. This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever encountered while visiting a spa. I will never consider or refer anyone to this location.

I have gotten multiple massages, a couple of facials and laser hair removal done at this location. The staff is always friendly and prompt. I had some personal issues one day and needed to reschedule last minute, though I understood the policies and willing to pay for the cancelation, Kourtnii was fantastic and truly understanding about it all. Its nice to go to a place where people treat you like a human and not a robot in and our, in and out!! Would recommend to anyone!!!

Esthetician’s are fine but the front desk needs some help when they are dealing with groupons.

Please do not spend your hard earned money in this location, or any of the other locations. First, my son bought me a gift card for this business. They would not let me use a gift card on a massage that was on sale at the time. Second, I had received a Groupon for this place for 6 laser treatments. I went for the first one BEFORE the Groupon expired. The next one was after the Groupon expired. The manager told me I had to pay the full amount because my Groupon had expired. However prior to that appointment, an employee confirmed I would be able to use it without extra charge. The manager went ahead and charged my credit card. This place has terrible customer service and I do not recommend going here!!!

Ive been to skin spa a few times (3) i found them through groupon and i was hesitant at first as it my was my first time using groupon and more importantly what kind of microdermabrasion i was actually going to get. my first one was in chelsea. i was in disbelief quite honestly. i loved it. the esthetician was lovely and professional. since i live in midtown decided to use the 57 st location my second time. it was decent. esthetician was nice but a nightmare. not very thorough. talked my ear off and and said something to the effect of clients always wanting more than what they pay for. she was reffering to other clients that came in and i guess pretty much telling me desk ask for too much.im a pretty fair person and for me a microdermabrasion session, particularly when buying it for apprx $55 is just that- a microdermabrasion of your entire face - end of story. nothing more. the woman at 57 th st one over my face once and what i would say medium power and i might as well have used my dr brand microdermabrasion cream at home. i did actually when i got home that evening. third time i used chelsea again and it was just a miss. i waited for ever for my appointment in their waiting room and just wasnt having it. fast forward 6 months i came across an email about skin spa sales. i was interested in forma and it was a gift for relative. the clerk at the front desk wasnt sure what package cost, she called chelsea in front of me quoted me 1300.00 for 6 sessions of forma . i came back to purchase the package for my aunt. it was a month later and same clerk (def remembered me) it old her i was ready to buy. the packed was now significantly more im talking thousand more. claiming sale was over. oh well. i left.seemed gimmicky to me. this place is not bad but buyer be beware

I bought a package of 3 customized facial from my prior experience at another location. I was very disapppinted with both the times I have been here.first time my half an hour appointment was cut short to 23 mins and second time to 22 minutes. The receptionist reminded me to tip 18-20% but I wanted to ask wasnt it supposed to be based on my experience. The treatment was nowhere in comparison to my prior experiences at upper east or midtown east experience. I am highly doubtful of coming here again.

Ive had a membership for over two years. I feel taken care of everytime. Staff is very forgiving about cancelations and tardiness.

I have been going to skin spa for the last 6 months because i bought a lazer package with them for my legs and arms hair removal.I have not been very happy with the experience 3 out of the 6 times i got burn marks on my legs with the way the lazer equipment was used. This last time was so bad that the marks look like burn marks and are filled with a strange fluid too.I have been to other places to know this is not normal.The technical staff is friendly but could be better at what they do. The reception staff is ok, not very helpful or flexible.The place is clean and punctual otherwise but i would definitely not recommend for lazer given my experience.

Their customer service is horrible- if you want to make an appointment, I suggest you free up at least 20/25 min from your schedule because that’s how long it takes to get anyone on the phone to book an appointment. I have a voucher for this place and am already regretting it.

Thanks for the reviews on this place. I was just gifted a Deep massage and aroma therapy and Im trying to pick a location, Midwest 57th reads the best so far from everyones experiences at the other locations. I just scheduled my appt. and cant wait for my massage.Ill keep you posted with my results.

My aesthetician yalena has improved my skin. Back to its youthful texture and tone. Im happy with my progress.

I have gone to this spa for a range of services-- waxing, massages, etc. The quality is hit or miss depending on the staff member. Teuta has always been great: very professional, efficent, and painless. The massage was subpar. But the real reason I give this a two star is because I am disappointed in management who upsold me a huge and permanent future service on a whim, and then refused to refund when I wanted to cancel the next day. Maybe Im asking too much, but when we go to a place to indulge in our bodies, Id like to have the fact that to Skinspa Im just a body with a credit card a little less directly apparent.

I went there yetserday for a deep skin cleansing, so i choosed to go with microdermabrasion, i stepped inside the center thinking it was another different one i made an appointment at but it turned out to be the second skin center in that building, around 4:14 i started my skin session which was supposed to be 50 minutes of time, but it only ended up with 35 minutes by the Aesthetician, i honestly didnt see much results, my face looked the same with much redness and the aesthetician hadnt even removed any black/white heads on my skin. I would honestly not recommend this place for facials and its $80 for absolutely nothing!!

Got Groupon for deep tissue massage and it was just OK. The therapists nails were digging into me and the pressure was just mediocre.
