The purpose of waxing is to minimalize in grown hair. I have tried them twice and two of my friends got the package and they regret it because they also get in grown hair after waxing at Shobha which we all 3 of us have different hair texture. They are over priced and not worth it in my opinion. And 30$ for threading of eye brows and upper lip, like seriously not worth it.

Needed a last minute wax for my upper lip and they kindly accepted a walk-in. All staff are extremely experienced and make the process easy and painless

I took my husband here to have his ear hair lasered. About ten minutes into what was supposed to be a 30-minute consultation, Siba (the laser technician) came out to explain that there was an issue with the razor and invited me back to see for myself. My husbands ears were both bleeding in multiple places because she had cut him repeatedly with what looked like a large plastic double-sided womens razor for shaving legs. I also had my back waxed, and there are still hairs remaining in the center of the area that was treated. This was our first time trying laser and he vows hell never try it again after this horrible experience.

I love Shobha. I tried a different tech before, but Nawina is the absolute best tech!!! My pain tolerance is low and she helps with your breathing. She truly goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

Im sooooo happy they were fully booked else I would have missed out on all the sweet, feminine goodness thats this business Shobha!From the doorman of the building to receptionist Yulissa (pronounced Julisa) and my tech Rizwana, everyone was so amazingly wonderful!As you walk in your temperature is checked before youre directed to a sink to wash up. They practice strict covid precautions.I didnt have an appointment (its recommended) but I waited less than the ten minutes Yulissa said it would be to have my facelift. (threaded brow)I heart the energy of this business. This place is so clean, calm, and inviting. The employees make you feel at home as you are getting waxed and that eases the anxiety that we all get before the service.

This is a great place for eyebrow threading and other types of hair removal. Scheduling an appointment is easy - you can do it online or by phone. The salon is extremely clean. Everyone is attentive to your comfort/needs and they try to make sure you leave satisfied.

Clean place. No double dipping! Waiting time for waxing is almost absent. Staff is pleasant. If you find a tech whose work you like, stick with them! It makes the experience less painful. Products can be a bit pricey, but the anti ingrown cream and rose water cloths are useful.

Brazilian waxes are great here! Minimal pain and they sell nice aftercare products

Bikini Waxing was very thorough and also included the leg line. The cheaper salons usually charge extra for that area since its not considered traditional bikini wax area. Trim w shaver option also appreciated as well as the cool compress and cortisone cream application post wax. They charge extra for sugar wax but its worth it if you have sensitive skin. The threading was good, no different or more special compared to the cheap threading salons that usually charge 9-12$. Would probably return for the waxing, wouldnt go out of my way to come for the threading.

I have been coming to Shobha for years and have never questioned the quality of the service. This location is convenient to me for work with gorgeous views of Times Square. You will pay a bit of a premium for top-notch consistent service but it is worth it (threading, waxing).

I have been going to Shobha for over 12 years. For my brows, lips, and bikini waxes.I love it! I was surprised that the laser was so expensive. I have been paying a lot less. However when I decided to do the laser at Shobha on my lip. It barely grew back after one time. I had been doing laser on my lip somewhere else had to to keep returning and paying over and over again. It has been two months and well worth paying for it. I havent needed to go back yet.

The service here is phenomenal. The front desk staff is super friendly and makes booking appointments a breeze, plus they send you reminder emails once you book a service (optional). I always request Nita. They really know what theyre doing here - professional and on point! Plus its super clean and the interior decorations put you in a great mood :)

Ive been a customer at Shobha for 10 years. My technician is Promila. She is wonderful, gentle and a kind person. The facilities are always clean and the staff are pleasant.

Worst experience.Before getting it done I asked her whether she can fix my eyebrows as the two were shapeless, she agreed and when I saw myself at the end I was shocked. My two eyebrows were in two different shapes. I still can see extra hair on the outer brow line.What the hell, if you cant do it right then dont just experiment on others. I have an upcoming photoshoot this Friday, and this lady messed my already messed brows.And on top of that the lady who billed asked for tips. Paying $23 was a total waste.Very disappointed.
