A fantastic apartment in a very cool part of the city! We stayed in the apartment called Sol, which has two bedrooms plus a sofa bed, just the right size for our family of four, very comfortable, very well equipped, well located for sightseeing up and down Manhattan and helpful, friendly support from Miguel and Melissa before we arrived and during our stay. The whole place is immaculately clean and very well presented. The kitchen has everything you need, including some really good coffee when we arrived and a very welcome bottle of rose wine - thank you! There were some useful things that werent mentioned on the website too - shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom, USB chargers in the living room and bedroom, and the air conditioning was exactly what we needed as we arrived during a heatwave.East Village is a great area - plenty of unique shops and places to eat and a couple of very friendly pubs round the corner. Were a vegan family and were amazed at the variety of cafes and restaurants where we could get a good meal nearby. There are small grocery shops nearby plus a big Whole Foods so you can keep the kitchen stocked, and the subway is very close so travelling around Manhattan is easy when its too hot to walk.We loved our stay and would love to come back again one day - for the ten days we were there, it definitely felt like a home from home!
I loved staying at the Garden Duplex in the East Village Apartments by Sudha! I have stayed at the East Village Apartments before and stayed in the Apartment Sol. I loved how clean and neat the apartment was and how spacious it was!! It definitely accommodated our large family extremely well and had more than enough room for us to each have our own space. The location is amazing and so close to many SOHO shops. I loved walking to the Bean every morning to get a dirty chai latte and watch the city life through the windows. I have no complaints at all! I loved my stay at the East Village Apartments by Sudha.
We had a wonderful experience in the Terrace Apartment! A great space in an exciting neighborhood. A very comfortable apartment with a fun pop of red in the interior design. The back patio was a great, private area to relax and enjoy the weather. I especially loved the steam bathtub/shower function in the bathroom. Will definitely recommend to others.
This building, the area, the people, and the experience is absolutely exceptional!! I can’t express how awesome this place is to stay. This is our second time, but will certainly not be our last. Courtney was just great, greeting us as we arrived, explaining everything about the apartment and the local area. Even parking was managed for our vehicle (though not guaranteed) by our friend “Irish”, who took special care of us and made it possible to park outside our place for the duration of our stay.Sudha understands what is necessary to make a large family comfortable, to give space to breath, room to gather, and an outside space to truly soak up the lower east side.Highly, highly, highly recommend The East Village Apartments.
We stayed for a week at East Village apartments. .. ( the Sol apartment). The neighbourhood is fun and quirky with some great restaurants and shops within walking distance. We really felt like we had “ a home” in NYC. The apartment has everything you could want for a comfortable stay and was spacious enough for three adults. We would definitely come back for another stay!
Sudha’s garden apartment in East Village was in a great location and felt secure and private. Our street security, a great character called “Irish”, kept an eye out on things for us - a handy umbrella if it was raining, buzzed us when having food/wine delivered, helped with cases and a font of knowledge about the street’s comings and goings. The decor was gorgeous and the beds comfortable and the outdoor space was terrific. A couple of suggestions would be to have an outdoor umbrella or some sort of shelter for rain as there was limited sitting space to eat inside. The air con was also too warm and it seemed difficult to get it changed. Generally though, the space was wonderful - a sanctuary from which to explore NY.
Fabulous stay. My brother n law booked the place for a family get together and our family could not have felt more at home! Love the area and the local feel. Apartment was warm and cozy even during a cold NYC night.
Clean, spacious & sooo nice! We have stayed before about 5 years ago and when we decided to stay again in the city...I thought, why reinvent the wheel? Last time we stayed in the Sol apartment and loved it-this time we stayed in the Garden Duplex and it was perfect for our family!!! Will definitely book again!!!!
Wonderful and handsome are my words for this!I was swash-buckled by the amazing plethora of facilities available, stayed at the Garden Duplex Apartment and right from the patio to the kitchen to the rooms and all that was present were seriously flabbergasting!I have never come across something as serene and as subtle as the Garden View Apartment, the facilities were amazing and the place was beautiful, it was a perfect what you call it as a Perfect Zen Retreat for me and my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!I would definitely recommend this to anyone and if you want to spend some good quality time with your family away from the hustle bustle of the city, mind you that East Village Apartments are the best for you eyes closed!Very inviting and very appealing, I dont have words to describe the enjoyment and relaxing we had!
Amazing place. Can only recommend to everyone! The appartment is big, clean, and has all the furnishings needed. It is very close to local shops and public transport links. The area iis very nice as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We arranged a Taxi - pick up and drop off from and two the airport for an extra fee, which was excellent and made the commute so much easier. Would absolutely stay there again!
The penthouse apartment was spacious and clean. All the amenities were exactly as described and we were very pleased with our stay. The administrator was kind and professional. We would highly recommend this East Village apartment!
Very friendly and a very warm welcome as soon we stepped into the Apartment. Brian explained everything so thoroughly taking pains in planning our day, giving directions to the tourist places. Our 2nd visit here, I Loved the Apartment, Thank you Sudha, for making our stay so comfortable and hassle free yet again. We as a family of 5 enjoyed staying together in the cozy apartment which has been very tastefully done. Staying in East village was the highlight of our trip. Everything becomes accessible when staying in the heart of NYC, The East Village area is easy to get to from just about anywhere in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The italian restaurant Double Zero around the corner suggested by you was amazing. Thanks for welcoming us again.
It was truly wonderful staying here ..Felt like Home away from Home. Spacious, confortable, and location was so convient. Everything was so close. I only had to walk 2 blocks to take a bus ride, all the way uptown, To visit where i used to live! Had an absolutely wonderful stay!
Very nice apartment. We stayed at Sol with our family, 3 teenage children. Lots of space, nicely decorated, clean, great kitchen with all appliances available. Great staffOne negative point...the master bedroom in front of the apartment is noisy. Lots of traffic/truck noise during the night and early morning.Overall a very positive recommendation
Everything was perfection. Location, accommodations, security and extras. Simply superb!!
Beautiful and cozy place to stay with an amazing outdoor space that is great for a big family. Really feels like home away from home.
Fantastic place, the apartment was super and had everything anyone need during the stay. Ideal location in a good part of the city, nearby a lot of underground stops to go in all NY
I loved my stay at Sudha ´s apartment! I stayed in Terrace apartment, the apartment was spacious, bright, extremely clean and quiet. When visiting New York for leisure, you cannot find a better location! It’s walking distance to my favorite neighborhoods: the Village, Soho, Noho, Nolita, Chinatown, Little Italy, Union Square and the Williamsburg bridge. Sudha is an amazing host, always keen to help and she gives you all the tips you need on the city, on where to go for lunch, brunch or dinner... she is always available and she puts a lot of love into her apartments. As a result, you really feel like home in the apartment and in this lovely neighborhood.
Stayed in “the terrace” unit. Warm welcome, gorgeous apartment! Would recommend. :)
Awsome place while travelling to New York & if you are thinking to stay away from the city sounds. East Village Apartments are the best to go with. There are many restaurants close to these apartments along with shopping places. Also, they provide the best inhouse services like cleaning, food and flowers delivery etc. Overall, a good experience :)
A great apartment to help you explore a great cityWe couldnt have asked for a better apartment and couldnt fault anything. The whole apartment provided us with everything we needed. Once we arrived we realised that this was a reliable leasing agent who kept in touch all the way through and removed any worries we may have had. Little extras that had been provided really made the trip and we didnt want for anything. Very comfy beds and nice linen. Everything in the apartment worked, from the TVs, the free wifi and kitchen appliances to the extra cable channels that kept the kids amused. The location is excellent and all the main areas of interest are really accessible. The private garden was a real surprise and a bonus space to what was already a large apartment. These things make being away from home very easy. All in all a place I will visit again when in NYC!!
This apartment worked great for a quick business trip to NYC. We stayed in the Sol apartment. Even though I was booking day of, Sudha got back to me within 10 minutes with a special deal and left great instructions for our late check-in (including a recommendation for amazing thai food up the street). The location was perfect – we had meetings in Brooklyn and Midtown and there were multiple subway lines just blocks away. Also the East Village provides for a lot of great night-life and restaurants once we wrapped meetings and our apartment was less than 10 minutes walking from both East Village and Soho. Despite there being an awesome Irish bar across the street, our apartment was perfectly quiet. The water pressure in the shower was amazing and there is a full washer/drier & full kitchen- which if we had a longer stay would have been very helpful. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet spot in the middle of one of New York’s trendiest neighborhoods. Thanks for the great stay, Sudha! Looking forward to returning.
We were on a girls trip and oh my god what can i say!! What an accomodation! What a place! Highly higly highly recommended ☺️
Stole our money. Cancelled our booking and wont refund our money. I have emails and screenshots of the owner cancelling and is saying under refund policy he doesnt have to pay us back. HE CANCELLED THE BOOKING!
It was fantastic
Great stay!!
Excellent place
Nice apartments
Furnished home with 2bedrooms
Superb
Good location (close to Nolita, Greenwich village, little Italy, etc) but drug dealers in the street, noises at night, and what disturbs me most, misleading photos on their site.If you think you are booking what you see on their site check my photos first, you may be disappointed.Apartment with semi-underground entrance, and second floor completely underground without windows.A single and non-opening window in the semi-basement, plus French windows with a pleasant terrace outside. All in all it wouldnt be bad, if it were cheaper and not sold for what r, and if you dont mind being woken up several times during the night and having if youre lucky enough to sleep in the only windowless room, the garbage cans. as a panorama.
