I co-signed a short-term lease for my college aged son here. The apartment was delivered with a non-working refrigerator, and then he was provided with the keys to an empty apartment to use another refrigerator there, which also did not work. Management refuses to do anything with regard to his food loss even though they failed to deliver an apartment with a working refrigerator. In addition, they attempted to lie about the situation saying at first the refrigerator was not cool enough for my sons liking so they gave him another refrigerator, only to state later they agreed the refrigerator did not work. Then, there were mice in the apartment. They did address this quickly, but the whole attitude and lack of responsibility here is amazing. Their actual last statement was that it was not their fault.
I was trying to rent this place both in person and Airbnb and didn’t have any luck. There is a woman who is resonsible for everything there Zaure Karabulina.I liked the area, I need to move for short term and didnt get involved with furniture. I’m self employed student have 2 companies but Zaure Karabulina was questioning me like I’m some criminal, when I said I’m self employed. I’ve tryied to rent them and prepay for whole 4-5 months stay upfront through Airbnb but Zaure Karabulina was there very rough too. I’ve made a complaint through Airbnb account already too. You have to pick you stuff very carefully and don’t loose your clients!Actually don’t book them here, they have cheaper rates on Airbnb.
Great value and location. The Bridge Suites is a walkup in a extremely central location. You are within walking distance to central park. You honestly wouldnt find any short-term accommodation in NYC that comes furnished and available at short-notice for such great price. You do get what you paid for though. Dont expect luxury Manhattan penthouse. The rooms are outfitted with the basics - bed, sheets, fridge, pans, cutlery, etc. Yep sometimes things break (I had a leak in my sink during my stay) but the staff on hand try their best to be helpful. Especially Zaure who had been wonderful during my stay. They were also top-notch during covid and were following distancing protocols and cleaning regularly. The one downside I would complain about is that the room facing the streets can be extremely loud due to traffic but that is what you get for picking a central location in Manhattan.Tips: If you dont like stairs try ask for a room that isnt on the 5th floor.
I had stayed at Bridge Suites for about a year ( my move to a more permanent place was somewhat delayed) and have positive things to say about the building and especially its staff.People that work here are helpful, friendly, and try their best to serve their tenants. I felt at home and comfortable throughout my whole stay.My favorite place to spend time was the lovely courtyard in the middle of the building complex--I spent many times enjoying my cigars and socializing with other friendly tenants. If I had to return again, I would without any hesitations.
The bridge suites provided us a comfortable cozy brick walled apartment. Overall, it was reasonable and the location was perfect for commute since the subway was only a few blocks away. The staff members were friendly and attentive to our needs. Our stay for 5 months was easy and problem free. We got our deposit back the day before we moved out. They provide apartments for a short term which worked out for us as well. Highly recommended!
I rented a studio at Bridge Suites Apartments for a 10 week internship during the summer of 2017. It was a really good fit for my needs. The apartment was clean and well stocked with the essentials. I only needed to bring my clothes. Bridge Suites is conveniently located in Manhattan. Anything I needed was right out my door. I highly recommend Bridge Suites if you need a no hassle short term rental.
I stayed twice at the Bridge Suites and was very happy with my stay both times. The apartments are immaculately clean upon arrival and all the necessary supplies are provided for a comfortable stay (silverware, pots/pans, iron, etc). Although my first apartment was right under the bridge, I was not disturbed by the noise. I also have to give 5 stars for the manager, Zaure. She really went above and beyond to make sure my stay at the Bridge Suites was wonderful both times; I also received my security deposit with no problem the day I checked out.The location was perfect for me and I loved the neighborhood as well. For short term, no hassle stay in Manhattan, I definitely recommend staying at the Bridge Suites!
Good location with all your needs within easy distance. Super helpful and attentive staff who went out of their way to help and resolve any issue quickly. Rooms are comfortable, clean and relatively well equipped - not luxurious and a bit dated, but everything worked OK. I stayed almost 4 months on and off, in several rooms and it was a bit variable as to what came with the room. Especially for the price for the location, wouldnt hesitate to recommend for temporary accommodation.
The experience staying in Bridge suites was second to none! Great location, only 15 minutes on a subway to Times Square! Great hospitality and a round the clock concierge service! Would highly recommend
The best reason to rent from this place is Zaure. The rooms are and price are fine but you would be hard pressed to find a property manager who cares about providing a good experience as much as Zaure does. It is rare to find someone in customer service who so seriously and sincerely wants to please her customers.
Great spot for a longer term stay in New York. I was here for 3 months while working in Midtown so the location was awesome, walking distance to everything. Also the staff is very helpful
We decided that this place would work really well as my moms temporary residence while we were looking for a permanent place for her. And we made the right decision. Throughout her stay, which lasted several months, we always had access to the complexs staff; theyre all very friendly and attentive people. For example, when we needed to replace her microwave, they did it right away. The complex is located next to public transportation, great shopping, restaurants, etc. Its a safe and nice area. I would recommend the Bridge Suites for anyone whos looking for a furnished place in a safe trendy area.
Great location and waaay cheaper than any nearby hotel. and unlike a hotel, it has a fully equipped kitchenette, with cookware, big fridge, etc. i happen to live in the area and my family/friends always stay here whenever they visit NYC and they will continue to do so. the staff is super friendly and accommodating. highly recommended!
I had a pleasant stay at the Bridge Suites a few months ago. The apartment was provided to me in very clean condition and had most things that I needed for my stay. The staff is kind and helpful. This place was 2 blocks away from my train and I ended up having a short commute to work which was amazing!
Excellent short-term rental option. The apartment was very clean and equipped with all the basics. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning a short stay in New York City or needs temporary accommodation while looking for permanent options.
Very good location. The apartment was clean and it had basic amenities (it lacked cleaning supplies, which I found odd)The front desk staff are sometime overwhelmed, but the office always provides a prompt response.I would recommend the place and I would stay there again.
Stayed here for 3 weeks as my work booked it. Would not recommend. The rooms are not anything like the advertised pictures. The reception staff are normally absent or incompetent. the check in took so long it could almost have been a comedy sketch. The worst bit is the noise of honking, as its on the main artery into manhattan. This noise never stops. Never. Its made worse by the gentlemans cub that is next door to many of the apartments and consequently the honking of taxi pick ups at 4 in the morning.I finally got moved to another apartment it was better but still not great. The furniture is falling apart and the place looks like it needs a good deep clean. If you were staying here longer term you might be able to clean and do somethings to make it look better but for a short term visit it is not up to standard.
I loved my stay at the Bridge Suites and would definitely recommend it. The rooms were in good shape and comfortable; the property manager and staff were all very helpful and kind; and the location is great. I had a great experience!
It was totally great staying at Bridge Suites once again after all these years. Very warm welcome and very friendly staff from day one.
Sweet darling place! My room was decorated with a charming exposed brick wall and my roommates and I had a blast staying at this location. The garden is a great place to mingle especially in sunny weather!
Excellent stay for a month here in 2016.The staff is excellent
I had a positive experience here. The apartment was clean and furnished with what I needed, and the staff were helpful and responsive. The building is located conveniently to the NRW line, which got me everywhere I needed to go.
Bridge Suits is a good place to stay in New York City. It’s close to a metrostation as well as close to Central Park and 5th Avenue. The room was well equipped and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I experienced no problem at all during my stay (1 month).
Good experience with my stay - the manager and doormen were very nice and accommodating, and the apartment was in relatively good condition and clean. Would recommend if youre in need of a fully furnished apartment for a short-term stay!
I can start by saying that it has a great location, nice area, you can find anything you need around you + a subway station is 2 av away. the only drawback is that some rooms are closer to the bridge, but no worries i could always sleep (even naps during the day). the room was very clean upon arrival and it has everything you need + good heating system. i have not tried the laundry room. the place has a nice sitting area at the center of the buildings. the staff are very friendly and always helpful. one drawback if your room is on the 5th floor, the building does not have an elevator (cardio was good for me).Very important: do not be discouraged by the deposit, at the end of the month i was able to get it back same day and cash.
Perfect location and close to the bus stop and the subway, and a few minutes walking distance to Central Park. The staff is very nice and it was a perfect choice for my stay in the city.
The staff was very nice and helpful as well. We were not familiar with the area at all you could honestly say we were fish out of water . we had to spend a month up there for my daughters cancer treatment at MSKCC. The staff would suggest places to take her to for fun(shes only 9 and was very homesick ) which made the time away from home and the rest of our family much more bearable. My daughter even received a huge bag of her favorite candies from the manager before we left. I really would recommend Bridge Apts to everyone it is comfortable and pleasant kind of like home away from home.If I had to stay there again I would with no hesitations.
Had a great stay here. Host was very responsive at all times. Location was central and easy to get to.Would stay here again.Thank you!
Me and my hubby had stayed in this wonderful place for few times since 5 years ago till last June2017 for several months and it’s always been like home, great location, clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff particularly the manager, accessible to everything, miss this place and definitely will come back and recommend it to anyone...
We had a great month in Bridge Suite apartments. Exactly as advertised, the studio was clean and spacious and suited our needs for a short term fully furnished rental. Zaure was very attentative and answered our queries efficiently and our deposit was returned to us within in 3 business days of moving out.
We have just finished a six-month stay at Bridge Suites, in one of the furnished studio apartments facing First Avenue. This place was ideal for our need, to accommodate a temporary stay in New York for an internship. It is not one of those sterile, expensive corporate apartments you find in major cities. Its more about living like New Yorkers do. These are older walk-up apartments with a bit of character. All the basics are provided so you can be self-sufficient. There is an on-site laundry room, centrally provided wi-fi, etc. The whole complex is clean and very well managed. The manager Zaure is very attentive. We only had one maintenance issue and that was dealt with in minutes, and Zaure is very communicative and prompt to respond to any query. Her team is quite helpful as well. In conclusion, if you want to live like a New Yorker on your temporary stay in the city - not spend months in a hotel room - this is a very good option.
First let me start off by saying that it is almost impossible to find a perfect apartment in NYC let alone a short term rental, even with a hefty budget. However, for 3K+ I honestly felt like I had been conned because this place had so many things wrong with it. So much so I was compelled to write this review so I could prevent others from wasting their money, time, and energy.Location1) Seems fine on a map, but once you are there boy is that a wrong assumption. It is located next to a strip club. Besides the music pumping all through the night there are unseemly characters that loiter after sundown. I am a guy so it didnt bother me but I couldnt imagine being a girl and feeling safe. Also, while I realize it could happen anywhere in New York, on day one (literally) I witnessed a man being jumped and robbed below my window.2) You are across from the Ed Koch Bridge. Doesnt matter where you are in the building because you will hear the traffic. Hope you like horns and car lights!Building/neighbors1) I do not like to pass judgement on people, but I mention it only because of the noise factor. There was a woman within my building, possibly working next door, who seemed to provide services throughout the night. She was loud.2) The place was marketed with a nice courtyard. However, it was used a staging ground for construction and trash. Hardly Serene.Apartment1) The mattress if you could even call it that, has zero (and i mean zero) padding. It was so bad I had to go to a spine and neck doctor due to back spasms. I never had any medical issues with my back prior to this and as soon as I checked out my problems were gone in days.2) The A/C is old and loud. Worst of all, I figured out that after a week or so that it was blowing literal soot from the traffic on the bridge. If you rent while it is hot you will have decide between the heat and your lungs.Landlord1) The landlord charges a mandatory $200 cleaning fee for less than an hours work. I know because the new tenant, unfortunate for them, was checking in as I was leaving and the bellman told her she had to wrap it up. Maybe I am wrong, and maybe the maid service does really cost $200 an hour, but I have a feeling that is not the case.2) You should not expect the deposit to be returned promptly. It will take up to a month or more and you will have to ask the landlord several times. The manager Steve may also try to retain some funds for one reason or another.RUN.
My son stayed at Bridge Suites, and he liked so much !!! Great location, the room was very clean ! Zaure was very competent manager ! The process to move in was excellent, when he arrived from Boston everything was settledI do Recommend !! The staff was always helpful.
Convenient location and space! Front desk and ms Zaure are always helpful!
My friends and I stayed in one of this apartments for more than 4 months and everything was great. As soon as we arrived from the airport, the doorman was already expecting us with our room keys. The room was absolutely clean and neat and it looked like the pictures. Everything was really nice and we enjoyed a lot our time here, whenever we needed something we just had to let the doorman know. There´s laundry onsite which is a great facility too. We stayed on the 5th floor and there´s no elevator so it was tiring at times to walk all the way up after a long day of exploring New York, so if you hate stairs, ask for a room on the first or the second floor.Since the building is located right next to a bridge, there´s a little bit of noise coming from the outside at night. However, after the first night, we just got used to it and there was no further problem. The building is located 1 block away from the subway station and there are lots of shops and restaurants near the place. The surroundings of the building are also clean and safe, we could walk on the streets really late at night and everything was fine.My friends and I would definitely stay here if we go back to New York.
I stayed in a studio apartment and I LOVED IT...Did I say I loved it. It was quiet, clean comfortable and prime real estate in midtown east...OMG...I was there for 62 days. I worked a childrens summer program and I walked down to 9th street everyday to and from work. The location is wonderful, walking distance to 5th avenue, central park, to name a few. The location has grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, shopping on 1st street where the apartment I stayed was located. Zaura is a sweet heart, and the young man at the door was great as well. Also on site laundry and if you dont want to wash your own clothes, there is a cleaners on the same street. I am so Manhattan after this stay, the price very reasonable for the location OMG.....I cant stop but I will say...I will be there next year. Enjoy your stay
I really enjoyed my stay at The Bridge Suites! I stayed for a month, with my 2 young kids. From check-in, the Front Desk Representative personally helped me move 10 separate pieces of luggage into our apartment. Zaure, the Property Manager, was so helpful from the application process to moving in the apartment. I had a wonderful view of the Queensboro Bridge. I felt very safe in the neighborhood as well. It was very family-friendly, and there was a park right down the street for the kids to play at during the day. Check-out process was easy and I got my deposit back the same day. A big kudos to Zaure and the whole team!
I want to hire whoever the photographer is because they turned a filthy dark apartment into a 5-star rental. Obviously, pictures are extremely misleading. Go see for yourself.
Had a pleasant and comfortable stay at bridgesuites. The place had been recommended by a friend and I found it very nice .I was staying with my family .They were very accomodating and kindly complied to my requests. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. All amenities were in good condition. We checked in at 23330 hours and even at the late hour the staff was very helpful and were helpful and cooperative throughout our stay. The place is very centrally located and everything is easily accessible we thank our hostess Ms Zaura for being such an excellent host.We look forward tos taying ther again.
I stayed for 2 months in 2007. Apartment 54, building 3. It was altogether pleasant. I was only bothered by the children from the nursery downstairs as I like to sleep till late. My U$ 750 deposit was almost fully returned after a while (by cheque, easily cashed). There was a small charge as I went a little over my electricity allowance. I didnt care as I left AC on full-time in the last weeks. By then there was no free wifi, but I could get open network 24/7 from elsewhere. Also my phone-line was working fine for incoming calls, or 0800 calling cards. I had no extra charges. By then there was no cleaning fee. The courtyard seemed pleasant, but I never sat there, and the laundry-room was practical. I barely saw staff as I did not need them, and the bldgs have separate entrance. Later I discoved craigslist for private sub-letting. But still I would not say The Bridge is bad. I would consider again.
They were accommodating, the apartment was conformable, and the process was seamless.
Stayed at the Bridge Suites for three months.1) Friendly staff.2) Wifi barely worked from my room during my time there.3) Will charge you furniture repair from your security deposit when you move out for the furnitures that were barely holding together from the start
Extremely friendly and accommodating apartments
A place very good
Settled with a friend for a week. Very clean room nice staff. Convenient location. 2 min grocery store. Everything is very good. I recommend to everyone.
