I took my daughters PC in due to lack of charge. I had already been advised for new charger from another box store that didnt due the trick. Computer Answers reviewed the computer, checked the battery, and confirmed the battery was good. They recommend a new charger. I bought that charger and it worked perfectly. They didnt charge a thing. I was impressed.

I cant say enough positive things about this place! They took our lost cause of a refurbished PC that kept blue screening with no answer, and made it work again. The best part is that they were so generous with their free diagnosis and found the seemingly invisible problem in only two days. They took the time to disassemble and reinstall all of the OS to make it work again, and since it was all part of diagnosing the problem, they didnt charge us (free diagnosis is a GREAT system and I wish more companies did this). We have not had that problem since. If youre old fashioned and actually get your electronics repaired instead of just buying a new one, go to these guys! They might be the best repair service weve ever had (including things like plumbers, contractors, mechanics, etc). Weve decided that we will be coming here for all kinds of things moving forward, never to struggle on our own again. Thanks again fellas!

Cheaper than other places and the guy who replaced my keyboard on my MacBook Pro was very friendly. But, be sure to answer your phone when they call back because they seem to take that personally.I had to wait a week after my part came in to be able to drop my computer of. Apparently that means you dont get same day service, and the guy in the shop on Sunday morning was super rude, didnt give me a call to let me know he didnt even do it Sunday.So, I got to show up when they opened Monday just to be told it wasnt even started yet.Life tip: Despite listed hours everywhere saying 9-9 they dont actually open till 10- and Sunday Guy didnt say anything when I said I needed it by 930 for work.I didnt actually get my computer back until 2:30. Still decent timing compared to others but for the love of deities they NEED to work on communication with clients.

I had my computer upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 in November 2020. Installation went fine, but license apparently was temporary, and Microsoft started giving me warnings today that the product key is expiring. Paul and I spoke, he connected me with Dwayne right away, who remoted into my computer and set me up with a permanent license. Took just a few minutes, Dwayne was great.

Dropped off my XPS with suspected issue. Confirmed what I believed to be the problem but did not charge for the diagnosis. Workers were very nice guys.

I went to their website to see their services and to find their east village location, which is posted on their own website. Then i called to make sure they were open, was told they would be there till 8pm not realizing it was not the east village location i called. I carefully wrapped up my computer and trekked over there to find out they had moved. So i called again and was told they closed that location 7 months ago. Not a good first impression. Hint to owner: time to update your website.

They were clear about the work they would do, and the risks, and they completed it in record time. (They said it might take days, but called me in two hours to tell me my equipment was ready to pick up.) Price was very reasonable and has worked like a charm since.

About a week ago I got my computer fixed here, the screen went black and I couldnt see anything, I was able to get a free diagnostic to see what was happening with my lab top, I got a quick response and got it fixed the same day. They were super fast, they also gave me a 90 day warranty incase the problem comes back. Im pretty happy with the results.

Unfortunately, Im not able to give 0 star. Not only they didnt fix the projector we brought (colour wheel issue) but they made it worse as it didnt turn on at all when we picked it up. Moreover, they lied to use the entire time (e.g. didnt receive the part needed, the manager wasnt here, wait 2 weeks to fix it, never called). please DO NOT GO to this place. Pure scammerUpdate: it has been 2.5 months and they still havent calledUpdate 2: it has been 5 months now and still nothing.Update 3: we never got our projector nor got any compensation for it. Brought my desktop here to fix a power saving mode screen blackout problem they said it was a graphics card issue so I bought a 300$ one . Just to come home and the same problem existed brought it back said maybe it’s power supply they took my nice battery changed it to this Chinese one that I ended up replacing 2 months later cause went bad. I ended up solving my own issue just watching a YouTube to stop my screen from blacking out while gaming ...anyway minor issues I won’t argue that they can get job done but not sure they can handle the critical ones.

Came here for iPad mini repair, technician Jerome contacted me after I dropped it off and told me how much it would be. Still able to fix even though the aluminum frame was bent from the drop. Called me following day to pick up, works fine, touch screen responsive all buttons and ports work. Will use this shop again for sure, very friendly and straight forward staff!

This place is a scam. DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STARS REVIEWS. We gave our projector to be fixed 7 months ago and they kept lying. They tried to give us back the projector but it wouldnt even turn on. Luckily we tried it there and them it wasnt working. Please do not go there. We lost $700.

I was lucky the issue wasnt bigger, but regardless, I know that I will be returning with future issues and strongly recommend this store for tech/computer issues. 5 MONTHS LATER... yes five months and still, we have not received the projector we dropped off on June 18, 2019. No information on the status of our device. NO answers. Nothing.Weve had to hunt down the employees for any information or updates. We were given ridiculous excuses for why we have not received our device. On top of the terrible customer service, our projector is now MORE BROKEN than when we left it with them initially (though an employee tried to lie and say that it did not project when we left it with them). We cannot take the device from them in its current state because as soon as it leaves their care, we become responsible for damages. Awesome. And there has been no indication that they intend to fix the projector.Our projector had a color issue that started in June (whites were blown out and reds were a strange color). We dropped it off with their staff, and for months have been told everything from the technician working on your device quit, to the protests in Hong Kong mean no one is answering the phone so we have no idea when the parts will come in, to the parts we received were incorrect so we had to start over, to (my favorite) I have no idea whats going on, youll have to wait for the owner. Ive also been told by multiple staff that they have no contact information from the owner and he just shows up every couple of months. Hard to believe that not one staff member has any contact with him.It was only after posting a one-star review that we were contacted by the owner. He made it clear that his only motivation in resolving the issue was for us to remove the one-star reviews. This conversation was on August 12. After updating the review, the owner insists we talk on the phone and would not communicate via email. In the three months since, We have yet to receive any updates, much less our device.Essentially, if you go here, I would expect that your device will be lost in a void of excuses and poor management. I highly doubt you would ever see it fixed. You most likely will not see the device at all.

Had an issue that no other place I took my computer to knew how to fix. This place fixed it for an extremely low price, very quickly, and my computers been running perfectly two weeks later. Best buy and other places are garbage. Geek Squad wanted to charge me 80 bucks just to send my computer away to diagnose, and estimated my repair could cost up to 500 bucks for a 800 dollar computer. Wow, the fastest Iphone 6s screen I ever had done. the whole thing didnt take longer than 7 -10 minutes and they gave me a free screen protector. good prices and great service. just wow. and on a sunday night. highly recommend this place.

I have literally had to go back to this place about 10 times, which is more than enough second chances. the repair they did broke over and over, lasting for about a month each time. Their charge was $350 which they mistakenly charged me three times, once in cash and twice on my card, saying their credit card machine was not working when in fact they were running the charge multiple times. For the most recent repair they tried to do, what they did didnt work and then they just kept my laptop for multiple weeks saying they would fix it the next day, but never calling back or doing anything. Eventually i just took it back without any repair. Super super lame.

Disappointing experience.Charged $200 on a $900 laptop for simple repair, for which I did not comparison shop for due to the timeliness I expected in the repair.3 months later, the same issue occurred and when I came back inquiring on the same repair, they said it would be an additional discounted $180.I understand the difficulty of paying rent in the city but to swindle the unsuspecting customer for extra cash is plainly wrong.

They seem friendly and capable in getting the more troublesome issues resolved. I had a bad SSD in an 8 year old Mac mini that I just wouldnt be able to figure out without a good deal of time and effort (on my own). They took care of it but the rates for an advanced problem like mine seemed to be a bit high. I did not shop around so Im not sure. The staff is pretty good at what they do.

Brought a laptop in for some water damage that needed a new motherboard. They dodged my calls for EIGHT months and then gave me back a scratched and dented laptop with a broken charger (worked when it was dropped off), a downgraded screen (wasnt in need of replacement to begin with) and stole my SSD which also wasnt broken and had cryptocurrency on it. Still charged me to get it back. Avoid at all costs.

Went to replace a broken key from a laptop keyboard. I ordered a replacement key online for like $10. The guy told me I had to replace the entire keyboard that cost like $20. I was ok with that but then he said with the service fee and some other fee it would cost me over $100!! Thanks but no thanks!

Awesome experience here. Someone I know managed to drop an iPhone 7 while closing a car door and bent in clean in half. The phone never recovered, but these guys sure as hell tried. No fix = no charge

Brought my laptop in for repair on funny noise and supposedlya corrupted hard drive and bad bios which was causing the noise ok wait two weeks get it back still got the noise bring it back they fix it another week I get it back go to turn it on and I find out that yes they did replace the hard drive with a smaller one the one that was in there was a WD640 They stuck in a generic one which is only 465gig when I called to ask what he did and why he told me cant talk on the phone to busy and that he lost money DOES THAT SOUND LIKE GUILT OR WHAT he claimed to have replaces my keyboard and spent out of pocket for it then proceeds to tell me to bring it in and he will replace it with a 1TB SO I TOLD HIM GIVE ME THE HARD DRIVE AND ILL DO IT MYSELF CAUSE WOULD YOU TRUST THIS COMPANY TO DO ANYTHING ELSE IF THEY DONT PUT BACK THE PARTS THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE HE ALSO OFFERED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK SHOULD I BELIEVE THIS OR NOT All I want was to have back what was supposed to be done didnt ask for keyboard fix because to my it worked fine didnt ask for him to claim to spend outta pocket only asked for what I need done and got screwed so to all you who have written great reviews on the company please check your system info to see what really was put into uyour computer if this happen to me Im sure it was done to others in the past

I had to wait two additional weeks for the Apple replacement. When I picked up my computer, it was still not working. I asked for a refund and he refused. He was extremely rude and hostile to me. I contacted the owner and never followed up. Next step is small claims court.Along with enduring terrible customer service for a month, my computer was never fixed and I was not refunded. Don’t waste your money here. They don’t deserve to be in the neighborhood.

Brought them my broken laptop. They said they could fix after taking a closer look at it. Destroyed my data and couldnt fix anything, actually made it worse. The screen didnt work when I got it back from them because it wasnt put back together properly. I took it to a place I know in my 3rd world country and they fixed it after a week. Makes you wonder... Overall, a stressful experience.

SCAM/FRAUD THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEYWe dropped off our computer to get a hardware repair in the headphone jack. They never called after the part came in. Finally we stop by and its been there for two weeks with no phone call. We dropped it off and once it was complete, the sound was not working. Turns out, they had ordered the wrong part. Round two (and one month later), my husband goes in to pick up the computer, its still not working. The guy working there blames it on the headphones. My husband goes upstairs to try with new ones. Sound still not working. When he comes back downstairs, the guy said that it was working before and my husband must have done something in the five minutes he went upstairs. Are you f#^%}-ing kidding me? We asked for our money back and he refused.Dont waste your time or money on these crooks. There are plenty of honest shops to go to with good customer service. I hope this shop closes permanently and something of good quality comes into the neighborhood. We dont need this.

A business with that many 1 star review shouldnt exist. Please dont go there. Theyve scammed way too many people. I brought my laptop for a screen replacement and it took them months to repair it. I ended up paying double and my laptop broke after 1 week.

Paul gave me a great deal on a new solid state hard drive and RAM, and within a few days had my computer working faster than it ever has. Would definitely return for other computer or phone issues.
