Could have been a little better with communication (a second call to confirm timeframe for repairs) but they did a great job. $275 to repair a $1300 laptop. More than I wanted to spend, but far cheaper than a new unit and completely fair between parts and labor. Laptop functions like new again. Friendly, highly professional set of guys. Shop is frankly a mess, but they were very courteous, very expeditious (24hr turnaround), charged a reasonable price (~$100 to repair a broken hinge and to fix a faulty charging port), and then when I needed a new charger they charged a market-value price, no markup from what I would have payed on Amazon or Ebay. When I got my laptop back I also had the pleasant surprise that they had cleaned it and updated my OS, no charge or service fee.All in all, maybe slightly more than I would have wanted to pay, but hey its NYC and it comes with the territory. Delightful guys, a pleasure to do business with, and there isnt a doubt in my mind where Ill be going next time I have an issue.

Dropped my MacBook Pro off in an emergency after I spilled some coffee on the keyboard. They cleaned it out and I had the computer back to my the same evening. I would 100% recommend them to anybody needing a repair. Very fair prices too!

I recently had them replace the hard disk drive in my 27 imac with a SSD drive that I supplied and they did an awesome job. I was a little concerned at first because they are not a mac only shop since they do lots of PC work, and to install a disk like this the screen must be cut off of the frame and then re-installed (that you Apple for making this so difficult). It was a perfect install, there were no issues with the screen being reinstalled and you cant tell by looking or feeling it that anything was done. They did the job same day (!) and was very fair price. Would highly recommend them to everyone for computer work.

These guys are miracle workers. The prices are very fare and and competitive especially compared to bestbuy. Never had an issue everything I needed done they where able to accommodate and accomplish while being courteous. There service is so good I always want to break something just to experience there awesome service again. Best pc repair I ever been to and possibly best in NYC/NJ area. :-)

I had a small issue, yet they were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. If I ever have a computer problem, I dont care where in the city I live, Im coming here!

Had big issues with my laptop and have used their services in the past. These guys are very professional and on point. They explained to me the issue with my laptop and the best way to fix it in order to save my data. The prices here are very reasonable and less expensive than many other places. If you have a computer issues this is where you should go.

These guys likely ruined my laptop with a faulty installation of a new monitor. Lucky for them, they amended the contract with we are not responsible for any hardware failure that might result from the installation nor will give a refund. How convenient. They also botched a simple data backup and OS installation on the same machine. Id trust them for most simple repairs, but they seem like the type to say yes to anything.

Great service, I dropped off my desktop system, they ran a diagnostic, identified a faulty power supply and video card, replaced them, cleaned the enclosure inside and out, now it works perfectly. Less than $200. They called when they said they would, (twice) to give me a status, the repair took a day and a half. I am really happy with D and Q.

I brought my laptop to this location after reading reviews and I asked for my laptop screen to be replaced. The cost was $170 for a new 28 inch screen. The following day the rep called me and said he has a good as new screen for only $120. I was so grateful that I was able to replace my screen for $50 less. Great service and support. Will be back.

D and Q Computer is very nice. I needed a new keyboard. They ordered it for me and when I checked online for the price, it was very close to what they charged me. The wrong keyboard was delivered and they were really nice about it. Good people. Thorough explanations and friendly. I chose them because of the reviews on G+ and had a great experience.

I think they may have let someone take my computer out maybe my landlord because he has the keys to my room in his house and my receipt its missing out of my room.

Smart, quick, honest repair computer repair company. The only poor part of my experience was that the company charged me for a diagnostics check when I came in and immediately told them the problem with the computer (needed the monitor repaired). I do appreciate the complimentary cleaning though.

The monitor portion of my laptop had decollated from the keyboard, and screws and brackets were missing. I took my laptop to D and Q Computer based on a recommendation of a neighbor. I was a little hesitant because I wasnt sure that hardware repair was in their repertoire. I was mightily pleased by the end result. Not only did they do a great job of putting humpty dumpty back together, they did it in very short order and my computer had a great cleaning, to boot, D and Q is a great neighborhood find.

Went there on a Sunday morning to find a desperately needed coolpad for my laptop. Friendly, helpful staff, no geek nonsense, just clear and straight to the point. May just have saved me several thousand dollars in lost work and having to buy a new laptop.

Honest and great service. Took my work computer here to get fixed when the place I was recommended wasnt open. Paid $50 for a diagnostic and then was given the price of labor and parts to replace my broken screen and messed up keyboard. They called me basically when they said they would with the quote.They told me it would be ready in 3 days and in 3 days they called and said it was ready. They let me charge my card over the phone, and even emailed me some files i forgot to download before I sent it in for repairs like WITHIN AN HOUR I asked for them. Thats just excellent service. Id highly recommend them to anyone.

Doing a simple upgrade on my PC, got a new 1080 TI just needed a VGA to HDMI converter, did all my research and figured I see this store on avenue B I might as well call it and check it out.Guy on the phone tried to sell me a splitter for 60 when best buy had a simple plug in converter for 30... Yeah no....Genderfication rates at this place, so be wary of prices, and always look for best alternatives (micro center, best buy)

And I must admit, Im usually not the type to write reviews whatsoever.But when its good, it has to be said.my story short: liquid damage on my 3 y/o macbook. Thought that I had only damaged my keyboard, turned out to be the logicboard. I already saw myself breaking up my savings account to buy a new macbook. (im a student in ny for research and internship, so really need a computer) But two days after I brought in my computer, the guy told me that it was only gonna take the replacement of 1 chip... while previous experiences with Apple learned me that logic board damage = up to $700 = buy new macbook.However, not this time. 3 days and $175 later, my macbook is back in its old shape.GO THERE GO THERE GO THERE!
