I flew to NYC for a week to attend a wedding of my friends and I needed to find a place to fix my dress in that short period of time. Im so glad I found Olga. She is a lifesaver! Olga was such a wonderful seamstress! I had a very detailed and intricate lace dress and she was able to hem and stitch the lace straps to my dress. I am in LOVE with my dress! I would definitely recommend! Very neat, organized, and very punctual!

If you are looking for alterations Best Stitch Tailoring is a great place to have your garments tailored to fit you perfectly. I recently had a gown hem shortened and it was $50. Not cheap but I needed it done and they did a great job. Quick and easy. They only accept cash !!! Although you pay when you pick up. One tip make sure to try on when you do pick up to ensure everything looks good !

I came in with a pair of pants from a brand new suit that needed mending (small tear). She fixed it for me in 3 minutes and said no charge...just remember her next time I need an alteration. OLGA IS AMAZING!In one fitting she fixed my wedding dress to fit my daughter who is very petite- downsizing it 2 sizes and 2 in the lengthI had a appointment with a tailor said this is a big job and needed weeks and weeks better i buy a dress and alter it - i knew this was bull as i am a technical designer--yes it needed a lot of work but not the difficulty they described.I walked 2 blocks from that Tailor in to Best Stitch Tailoring ( YOU DO NOT NEED A APPOINTMENT) and Olga pinned the dress exactly as i would have from the shoulder to bring the neck line and bodice up which is lace and shortened the touille skirt part with a lace border--5 layersi must say her work is excellent .it fit beautifully exactly as pinned in one fitting-2 weeks later i have the dress::))

Olga was very friendly but visibly busy running her own business. She has a somewhat steady stream of clients coming and going. I had two dresses altered here and the results were great. Its a quick in and out place for a fair price. Will be back for future outfits that need work.

Needed a suit tailored before a wedding overseas, which was only a week away. After trying on the suit for her, she was able to make some fashionable suggestions that ended up looking awesome. She was also able to prioritize what should be done to consider my budget. She was able to get everything done in a few days!

SUPER fast, very reasonably priced. No complaints. Have referred multiple people already and will go back myself. I had been to another tailor in the city a couple years ago and it was so expensive and took forever and they never really got it right. This was the complete opposite experience.

Great tailoring! Olga & team really get the look I want to achieve, which - as a transgender man with lots of curves where I dont want them - is something other tailors have struggled with. The prices are reasonable, and quality has always been superb. Ill never go anywhere else ever again.

Olga is a tailor who truly understands what can and cant be done with a piece of clothing. I think most of the negative reviews are people who think they know better than a professional. Not every job is as simple as one might think. She tries to explain this to her clients. I very much appreciate that about her. Went back to have an item fixed as it wasnt tailored properly and was told that I had to pay again. Keep in mind that I have been here several times over the years. If you bring your clothing to them, be sure to always try your items on before paying and leaving. I made the mistake of getting too comfortable with them and not trying on. Lesson learned and they will never get money from me again!

Amazing! Olga did a great job hemming my wedding dress and she completed it in 2 days! My dress was not complex but other places quoted me almost double the price and a longer time frame. Will definitely return to Olga again.

Absolute scam. Avoid at all costs. Olga conveniently “forgot” to record that I had paid her when I was measured and charged me again once I picked up my suit. She even tried to lock me in her shop until the police, who I called, arrived. Since it’s a cash only shop with no records, I have no recourse other than to warn you all that this con artist won’t hesitate to screw you over. Do not give this thief your business.

I took a wool coat to Olga. She took in from both sides and shortened the sleeves. The result is fantastic, she did such a wonderful job!

I needed to alter a dress and conveniently was handed a flyer by Olga. Figured might as well try it (I tried so many places before and never was everything perfect)Olga listened to exactly what I wanted changed, she got it done really quickly and the quality of work was exceptional, you would never guess that the dress looked differently in its original state.
