When I moved to NYC in 2019, I tried at least 5-7 barbers before I stumbled upon the Hollywood 2002 barber shop. Both Yuri and Alex are amazing at their craft. Years of experience and consistent attention to detail ensures you always walk out with exactly what you came for. And all at a very reasonable price point! Would highly recommend!

This place has been here for the longest for a reason. Very wholesome, respectful employees and are patient with the style haircut you desire. They also have GOOD prices compared to other barbershops. Highly recommend! I would not want to go to any other barbershop.

Alex and the barbers within this shop are incredible. Extremely friendly, welcoming and put an insane amount of quality and time into each haircut. For them this clearly isn’t about how quickly they can get you out of the chair, but rather what they can do to give you the best possible cut. From the outside it may not look like it has all the bells and whistles, but inside the shop has unmatched talent. Love this place

Hollywood 2002 is back in business!! They have a robust cleaning process (disinfecting all tools etc) and an appointment system to ensure not more than 4 people in the place at once. Great haircuts and I highly recommend Yuri who is amiable and highly skilled.

Yuri and his partner are hospitable and inviting to all. They know how to treat and keep good customers. I like that I can use my credit/debit card. They also made accommodations to get me out as fast as possible. They know how to handle all different hair types. The price is reasonable too. They have a convenient location next to the 14th Street station (1 and 2 train).

Perfect cut every time, I walk 20 minutes out of my way just to get to these guys for the last two years since moving out of Chelsea.They understand hair extremely well and what the customer really means when they want a particular style. First time I went they got my hair perfectly which no one had ever done before.Update June 2020 - thank god these legends are still open and running! In desperate need of a haircut and still as good as ever!

With my line of work and constant traveling, its worth noting that Ive had my ups and downs with all different kinds of salons and private stylists from NYC to Long Island, and Im still a happy customer at Hollywood 2002 since 2012.The professional service from all three gentlemen is both efficient and excellent, rarely with a wait longer than 5-10 minutes!Pricing could not be more affordable, especially considering all the other barber shops in the surrounding area are not even close to reasonable!Hollywood 2002 is, in my opinion, the best place in NYC for a sleek, sophisticated haircut.
