Awesome first experience here, looking forward to going back! Very reasonable prices especially considering the great service and attention to detail. The guy that cut my hair was both quick and meticulous, two things I really appreciate in a good barber. After pouring me a healthy glass of bourbon he set to work, leaving not a hair out of place. The finishing touch: warm shaving cream and a close shave around my neck, with a dab of aftershave and a warm towel to complete the experience. Go here, you won’t regret it.

If you want an amazing haircut go see Vinny. Blown away with his work. Professional haircut, great scissor, buzzer, and straight edge work around the sides. Warm towel and shaving cream on the neck for the finishing touch. Took his time, not rushed and made sure everything being done was what you want! Vinny is your go-to guy if you want a haircut looking clean and professional. Hands down!

I have been all over the city for many years trying to find a good barber. I took a chance here and happened to get a newbie named Dee. He was fantastic, listened to my needs, and was extremely thorough. Book your appointment with Dee if you can!

Im a real customer and this is a service that Ive used! Ive been looking for a few years to find a barber in the city that isnt charging something outrageous for doing a great job and when I needed to clean up a bit before a meeting, I just Googled barbers on the map. Hells Kitchen Barbers was the easiest one to get to, so I gave it a try. Right away, by the questions Steve asked and how easy he made it look, youd know that he was a professional. Great haircut at a great price. Id highly recommend him and his shop!

Ive had three haircuts at Hells Kitchen Barbers. All were great experiences. I was a walk-in for all three cuts, and was seated with in a few minutes, offered a drink and barber listened to my cut preferences. I recommend them.

Horrible. The guy treats your head like inanimate object and doesn’t know how to cut hair. Left some single long hair all over I had to trim at home. Chopped a block from the top that will take me weeks to grow back. I was embarrassed at work next day.There is one good barber there who I think is also the owner. Don’t go to anyone else.

The guys are really nice but the quality of the haircut is not, unfortunately. The guy kept banging the trimmer and brush on my hair and I got marks on the sides of my face from the trimmer too. And God forbid you ask them to use scissors for the top, they have NO sense of style unless its a full trim Daddy Yankee style. So unless thats what you want then go elsewhere and spend a bit more than the $22 youll waste here.

A true 5 star experience. Steve was very professional, and the service and ambiance of my experience has made me a repeat customer for life. He goes above and beyond to ensure you get the best service and even took the time to improve on a previous haircut from another shop without hesitation.

I walked in without an appointment during rush hour but they still managed to fit me in. It was very busy but still they were professional, methodical and polite. I even got a free beer and a head massage included, and I was very pleased with the cut. Highly recommended!

Hell’s Kitchen Barbers is my favorite barber in New York. They treat you like a king, free open bar, best haircuts, fades, trims in town. Everyone is so nice, like a family. Beautiful, clean, spacious, especially the new location on 9th ave between 46 and 47. I’ll be coming here forever now

Its very rare I try someplace new as Im always afraid of what my haircut will turn out.So after trying this place I find he knows exactly what you want, goes further to expand that style/idea, and you leave feeling like a brand new you. Found on google maps, had a good rating so I decided to give them a try. Well deserves 5 stars. Steve took care of me and is absolutely a master at his craft. Without doubt a top tier barber in Manhattan and highly highly recommended.

Went on a Saturday afternoon (July 6th). top class hair cut, from out of town so I was worried that my hair cut wouldnt of been the way i like it...... it was better than my normal cut! I will be building in another cut in to my next business trip!

Just got my first haircut here after switching barbers - GREAT choice! I was with my former barber 5 years, but moved, and previously had gone to 3 Aces on 9th ave near 46th st.These guys have better atmosphere, customer service, and better fades than I got at 3 Aces. Prices are reasonable, considering the area and the level of service/quality of cut.They offer shaves, wash and cut, or just a cut, among other things. They do cut with scissors, straight edge razor, and buzzers. Overall great experience - I found my new barber.Ariel was fantastic.

Steve is reliable, professional, a good guy, and a great barber. Ive been his customer for years, from his time in Chelsea, and now in his new shop. His new shop is super clean and relaxing. You wont be rushed and you wont be gypped. I recommend him to friends all the time and they are always happy.

I really like this place. It’s clean and very welcoming. Open seven days a week. I have never waited for more than ten minutes.My barber-Dewin is amazing. Very talented. He gives me his full attention. Takes his time on my cut. He never rushes me. My last barber would take a phone call during my cut and talk with everyone in the shop.Dewin is only focused on me while he iscutting my hair. I get a skin fade. The fade is flawless and seamless.After my cut he gives me a hot towel wrap and head massage. Feels amazing.Highly recommend this shop and even more highly recommend Dewin.

First off, never go to Manhattan Cut Barbershop. I dont usually get my haircut in NYC but I wasnt gonna have a chance to anywhere else. Manhattan Cut did a horrible job and the guy acted like he could cut my hair but it became obvious he had no idea what he was doing.So I searched for another place and found Hells Kitchen Barbers. This place SAVED my hair and did a great job fixing what he messed up. Steve the owner cut my hair, he took his time and clearly knew what he was doing. Hes been cutting hair for over 15 years and when you see your haircut youll believe.If youre unsure about where to go in this large city I promise you wont be disappointed with this place. I like my haircut a certain way and they know just how to get it done.

As a john jay student this location was a perfect place to get a quick cut in between classes. Its located blocks away from the campus. The barbers were very friendly and had me leaving with a fresh cut and a new go to place in hells kitchen. I will definatly be back for my next cut!

I think this place is overrated. I asked specifically for a scissor cut, and they gave me instead a very quick cut with a buzzer that didnt turn out well. I feel like I need another haircut now.

Ive been going to the same Sicilian barber for 16 years and have never got my haircut from anyone else during that time--bc hes that good. In a pinch, I went to Steve for a cut before a triathlon I was doing. His place is awesome. Its clean, modern, and personable. And the haircut is first notch. Steve was very meticulous (perfectionist), and the neck shave and hot towel were great touches -- just like a barber shop should be. I complain about everything but this was one of the few perfect experiences I have had. I will be back!!! Cudos to Steve who opened up just 3 months ago in our neighborhood. Become a regular before he is too busy to accommodate you. Hes that good!

Couldn’t have asked for just a clean up more clearly and that I wanted to keep hair length as much as possible. “Danny” said he understood completely and then proceeded to basically shave my entire beard off and tried to cut more than an inch of hair off the sides and back of my head

I just spent the summer in Spain and sort of dreaded getting a haircut in America again. No worries: happened to find HKB on 56th, a good old-fashioned (indeed, sort of old-world) barbershop with terrific service and a friendly ambience. Arthur was nimble with the scissors and solicitous of my feedback: he obviously wanted me to be happy with my haircut, and I was. I would go back in a nanosecond. (They are working on taking credit cards — so be sure to bring cash, just in case.)

I would give this place or at least the barber who cut my hair 0 stars if I could. He did not know basic haircut terminology, I asked for a skin fade multiple times and he just did what ever he wanted, used the buzzer on the top of my head even though I repeatedly asked for scissors only, butchered one side of my head. Now I need to find a barber to fix the damage done by this guy

This barber danny ruined my hair. He pushed my hairline up so far . and on top of that i walked in and nobody was there .i saw them afrlss the street smoking and they came in smelling of marijuanna when my son eas with me. Totally unprofessional would not go back if they paid me and another thing you guys should speak english when theres customers in the shop it makes people feel comftorable

My fiance got a haircut Friday. Now 2 days after its so bad omg. They kept his hair wet the hole time I guess so he couldnt see it dry cuz when its dry the sides pop out and both sides are uneven. Very bad he has to go shave his head to a number 2 so thanks a lot.
