Mark is an old world barber who delivers a great haircut at a very reasonable price: no clippers here it’s scissor cut, straight razor with hot foam to clean up neck and sideburns, always an excellent job attending to every detail. I’ve been a loyal client for 20 years. Great guy, too, I enjoy catching up with him! Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I have been going to Mark and Eddie for over 10 years, and wouldn’t want to go elsewhere. They are a big part of the community. So I was so happy to see they were back after the COVID restrictions were lifted. It was great to see they are taking great precautions and are COVID certified. Welcome back Mark and Eddie!

I have been going to Mark for over a decade at his old shop on 37th between 1st and 2nd Avenues. In addition to an excellent cut, reasonable pricing, clean and professional. Even with the proliferation of barbers in Midtown East it comes down to quality and Mark and his barbers are some of the best in the business.

Very happy with my cut - reasonably priced and looks good! Despite not being able to formulate exactly what I wanted, Mark figured that I wanted a European look and pulled it off better than my barber back home :)

My fiancé has been coming here for years and his hair always looks amazing. We were so happy they reopened recently! Mark has taken every precaution necessary and then some to make sure clients and staff are safe during the pandemic.

First fade I got where the barber used a scissor at all let alone for the majority of the cut. Results are semi-uneven. That being said conversation was great, everything was clean, wait was short, and the hair will grow back!

This is a friendly barber shop, with competitive prices for Murray Hill. Located east of Second Avenue on 37th street, you never have to wait too long, and you will be pleased with your haircut from Mark and Eddie. Highly recommended, and I’ve lived in the neighborhood for many years.

This is hands down the best barber in the city. Great atmosphere, great price and most importantly they care about the work they do. A little known secret is the hot shave! The shave is relaxing and done perfectly. Can beat it!

Worst haircut in nyc. Asked for a 1 fade with a very little off the top and she then cut most of my hair off with a squared 2 on the sides. And the flies didn’t help the experience.

My husband has been going to same barber since 2004. The owner is friendly and great at his job.

I took my boyfriend there and showed the Asian lady a picture but she ended up making his hair look a box. I even pointed it out to her that it looked like a box and she wasnt able to do it. Then she asked me what should she do? Im not a barber I just know it looks nothing like the picture and it looks like a box. Its their job to shape it.
