I’ve been going to Gabriel’s for over 12 years. Many haircuts later, and MANY gray hairs later (for both of us), this remains my favorite place for a fantastic haircut. I live in Westchester now, but I come all the way down on the Metro North to Hell’s Kitchen for Gabriel or Russ to cut my hair. Top notch in every way, and I’ve never had a bad haircut in 12 years!

Came and saw there was a line, saw good reviews, wanted to give them a try. I didnt want to wait there so I asked the owner if he could hold a spot for me when I come back in an hour, he told me no problem (it should be less than an hour). I come back after an hour wait an additional fifteen minutes and with no acknowledgement for the spot he promised me, just ignores me and takes the next guy. Did I mention he had time to smoke a cigarette in between too? I left.

Best place to get a haircut in Hells Kitchen. I called the place 10 minutes before closing time, to ask if Gabriel can still accommodate me, (have to go out of town early morning the following day) no ifs and buts, he said YES! Great price for an excellent service!

Gabriel rescued me after I got butchered by another barber at another shop in the area.He immediately pointed out what was done wrong and was able to fix what was left of my hair.He is clearly skilled with the clippers and scissors. Good prices and great shop. Will definitely be back!

Gabriels Touch is a traditional barbershop with experienced barbers who give quality cuts. The staff has no attitudes and are personable. As a repeat I enjoy the familiarity and the fact that they remember what you like! If your visiting the neighborhood or just moved here, I hands down recommend this place!

I wish I could have my haircut taken back. This was the third time I had my hair cut by these guys. The young guy, however many homophobic comments he could make, he was a good barber. If you want the receded hairline look for a cheap price, go here. Youll not regret it. Unless youre trying to look under forty six. They taught me a valuable lesson, dont pay anything under 40$ for a haircut.

Simply the worst haircut Ive had in years. The place was empty when I walked in, so the barber was under no time constraint or pressure, but he still somehow managed to give me a haircut that looked rushed and done in a moving vehicle. His so-called shape-up made my hairline so uneven that I didnt even bother telling him to striaghten it, since it wouldve raised my entire hairline a good inch just to fix it. Even the simple blending on the sides was awful, you could see exactly where the length changed from shorter to longer on the clipper settings. Simply no attention or skill was involved in this haircut at all. I will never go back to this place.
