Since the moment I walked in they made me feel welcome. I made an appointment for a service online but it wasn’t what I needed. However, they were able to accommodate my request. I wanted to dye my hair neon yellow. Emily showed one option at the beginning of my consultation, but when it was time to apply the color she showed me other options to make sure that’s what I wanted. We actually ended up with the neon brighter option and I couldn’t be more obsessed with the final result. 100% recommended

Booked a session for Xmas day to get my roots bleached and bring my previous blonde hair to platinum with Antonio, he did an amazing and professional job leaving me with great results. Many places seem expensive and some might even say not worth the financial hassle but as my first time at Barba I must say they use wonderful and high end quality products. My root lifted after two processes but even after the first it real lighten my roots.. I unfortunately only have before and after pics and not the in between but I definitely recommend anyone who wants to go blonde or has already but wants to go lighter or get their root touched up I would book an appointment with Antonio. If he’s not available I would say this place has skilled workers from the work I saw done on other customers while I was their. Thank you Antonio if you are reading this I hope you know I will be coming back again soon. It’s been weeks and I’m still very happy with how my hair looks and feels.

Tried and true Barba is the finest male grooming salon in Manhattan. The owner, Xavier, is the master barber and delivers a cut that will get compliments multiple times a day. The staff as a whole is incredibly kind and they maintain a positive and professional ecosystem until eh salon. The salon is in mint condition and the scarf massage Sule getting your hair washed is a game changer. If you’re a make looking for the perfect cut you would be foolish not go to barba!

My favorite and greatest stylist of all time, Payton, just joined this salon. It’s a laid back vibe. Very friendly. Everything is clean and new. If you care about getting the beat cut possible, I definitely recommend. Prices very reasonable.

Great experience! everyone was very nice, I was offered a glass of water on arrival which is a super nice touch during this heat wave. sanitizer available was also appreciated.I have wavy hair that is usually a bit long and generally have a hard time finding someone who gets a solid result. I got a great haircut with Antonio and will be back.

From the second you walk in, you get greeted and treated extremely well. I was offered many options to drink and candy for Halloween. My hair was really poorly faded before I arrived and William was patient enough to fix it up and leaving it the cleanest Ive seen it in a long time. He also helped me set it up for proper and even growth. Also a great conversationalist. Overall a well-worth experience!

I spent a long time looking for a decent barber in Chelsea and so many of them really dont care enough to listen to your hair.My hair grows quickly and I found that with other barbers my cut wouldnt look good in just a couple weeks.Steve pays attention to how my hair grows and it seems like he even styles it to compliment the shape of my face/head. He can do whatever style you want.I trust him so much that I just tell him to do whatever he wants when I get a cut!Whenever I get a cut from him its really fresh and it grows so nicely that it still looks really good even when I dont have time cut it.Hes really skilled and cares about his craft and hes a super chill guy. Id recommend him to anyone without question.

Erwin killed it with the beard trim! My beard was looking messy and totally fixed it up! He only used the machine, no scissors. I was skeptical at first, but what a good job.!! A must if your beard needs some altering.
