I have never used the services of this company before so let me let that be known. I respect a company that is owned by a military veteran and has a great marketing/outreach team. The marketing manager Don Graham is the definition of class and professionalism. You can always find him at events with the Seabee AC /Heat trailer. I recommend you spend a second with him and experience the difference.
Seabee took over my last providers business, called to introduce themselves and set up a tune up. All of that was fine, cost was fine, guy who came out was fine. Since then, I have gotten call after call from Seabee to alert me that I used to be serviced by x company and that theyve taken over their business and are scheduling tune ups. Each time I have told them they have already been out to service my unit, and each time the service record is found and theyll take me off the call list.Another phone call today to alert me to the fact that theyve taken over my old providers business and want to set up a tune up--no, thanks, youve already serviced my unit. Whoever called was very pushy and insisted even though they had been out a few months ago, it was time for my Fall maintenance and tried to set an appointment for tomorrow morning. When I declined and said I was at work and would look into it later she said she would put me on the call list for three weeks from now.I dont review businesses unless Im blown out of the water by how great they are or extremely irritated. If I have to ask more than twice to be removed from a call list, Im unhappy. Having to ask someone to discontinue calling more than that is unacceptable. I will have a tune up done, just not with Seabee.UPDATE: October 2018 and STILL getting these phone calls. Stop calling me!
My grandparents chose this company because my grandpa is a Seabee and was happy to support them. We were worried with the bad reviews listed but once our tech, Daniel arrived we were very surprised. Daniel was professional, respectful and courteous. He answered any and all questions we had and was very knowledgeable. It was a very reasonable price and our work was completed quickly and done well. We will definitely be using this company again.
Very helpful and honest. Technically savvy and knowledgeable to hold good discussion about options for current equipment and new equipment as well as things to be aware of under both scenarios. Worked quickly with sales team while on site to come up with a great deal for new equipment, install, and warranty.
My overall experience with Seabee air conditioning has been outstanding. Im very happy with the way I have been treated! They came out to do my normal tune up and went above and beyond! The service guy Charlie noticed my unit was low on Freon and he added some at no extra charge unlike the other companies Ive used. Thank you Seabee for taking care of me!

This company told my 89 year old mom that she needed a tune up, and during the course of their time with her, they said she needed a new AC unit, costing about $3400.00. I came over to see what was going on, found the disconnect was pulled, revinserted it, her AC worked fine. Had another technician check the whole system, NOTHING WRONG!! They tried to rip her off!!!Dont let them touch your equipment!! RIPOFFS!!!

If I could give out ZERO stars I would. I got a quote to get our air ducts cleaned and set up an appointment to have it done. They never showed. So I called the guy I set it up with and he said he would call me back but never did so I called the office and explained to them what was going on she said she would have someone call me back but no call back. So I called this morning and talked to Angel and he said that John was supposed to call me back because he couldnt HONOR the quote I got and wanted to charge me another $400.00.What a joke this company is. So much for anyone at this company being honest!

These people promise a free AC check. Said my Unit needed work but wouldnt give me an estimate. Wrote on the service report that I didnt care and refused the service -- Seriously? Who would accept a repair without a quote?? Their manager on the phone barely apologized and said theyd call me back with an estimate AND NEVER DID! Now, a few weeks later, my AC, which had been working just fine, doesnt work. I think they screwed with it and messed it up on purpose.
As one of their promotions, I won a free annual inspection and they did not honor the agreement. They appear professional until you start asking for their certificate of insurance. They came for the first inspection and when I wanted to have them quote and install a UV light system to prevent mold and mildew they took a deposit but then didnt come with the necessary equipment to install per the manufacturers recommendation. Since I live in a condominium, as a best practice the association requires any contractor performing work to submit a certificate of insurance. When I asked them to provide the document they refused and told me not to call them back. Then a few minutes later they called me back thinking I was a company employee and started talking about another customer that had called to complain about their work.Additionally, they do not deserve the right to use the name Seabee which is the construction unit for the United States Navy.

The most dishonest company other than a Timeshare I have ever dealt with. Salesman came out on a warranty call, said the warranty will almost always deny the claim. He sold us on what was supposed to be a performance (or middle of the road system) only for the technicians to show up with a bottom line system that the salesperson had previously made fun of installed next door! I gave them the opportunity to take it back and instead they argued that this is what I signed for. My neighbor was present and heard the same things I did, so now I am forced to litigate. The owner claims to be Veteran, but when I asked for him to speak with me (a fellow Veteran) he would only have his son call to deny even the fix he originally proposed! DONT USE THIS COMPANY OR CHOICE HOME WARRANTY!
I just had my thermostat replaced “only 1week out of warranty.” Had complete unit replaced last year. The service guys were excellent, Butthe boss wanted to charge me 275.00 for a part I could get on the internet for 25.00. After talking to him and complaining he dropped it down to 195.00 ...with a service contract Still outrages all I can say is shop around......
This company is NOTORIOUS for scamming elderly people! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They came to my parents house yesterday to look at their A/C. (Cold air stopped blowing through the vents in house the night before Thanksgiving. My mom had 10 people for dinner with no a/c). The guy came out on Friday and crawled around in the attic for a while. He came down and informed my Dad that the duct work had collapsed and all needed to be replaced. He gave my dad a price of $13,000.00!!!!!! But because they were already on their maintenance plan (another scam) they got a discount which took the cost to $10,500.00!!!!!! When my dad called me and told me what they said, I know enough about construction to know that their explanation was BULLSHIT! I went to my parents house, climbed through the entire attic and NOT ONE AIR DUCT WAS COLLAPSED OR EVEN DAMAGED!!!! We called another reputable company and learned that the real problem was a simple fix costing only several hundred dollars. It is absolutely DISGUSTING that SeaBee takes advantage of Seniors!!!!!
These people are honest, fix only whats needed the first time without any redos. Ask for the marketing manager to set up a complimentary assessment of your home HVAC system...he was very helpful in helping me through the posses and scheduling. Just try them out for yourself!
Seabee replaced one of our units 2 years ago for $7,000.00. Our units went out last Thurs night. Called Seabee and was told that one of our units was fried so bad that wires were melted inside, and that both of the air-handlers needed replacement. Their tech John quoted us $6900.00. We had Nuccio AC out for a second opinion. We were advised that our HVAC units were fine we just needed to upgrade the air handler fuse from 25 watts to 50 watts. We did that today. Our units are purring like kittens. We will never use these people again. I would never trust what they say again. If I had a choice I would not give them 1 star.

This company is horrible. First they contact me saying I won a free A/C cleaning. When the serve tech came to the door, he asked What do you do for a living. I dont not understand his question as my occupation has nothing to do with my A/C. I felt unsafe as the tech keep asking more question and making commits to the effect that I must make a lot of money. During the service, he sprayed a deodorizer in the A/C system that made my house smell like a public-school building. No problem with public-school build smell just not in my house. After the service the service tech was very pushy with replacing parts and cleaning mold. Do not use this company.
Horrible company they have stood me up twice and the person who they had scheduling appointments no longer works for the company and no one told me so I took off my job and no one never showed up....the owner told me since my unit wasnt out he choose the customer with units that were out... which I clearly understand if I hadnt been stood up twice... needless to say I will never use them or reccomend them...
Had a white Seabee truck speed up, cut me off and then the driver flipped me off. Very unprofessional. If this is any indication of the professionalism of your company I would never use you to service my unit.
I serendipitously found SeaBee because I won a year’s worth of free service at a trade show, which consisted of two 6-month visits. Daniel was my service technician. I confess I was very skeptical about what would happen because my a/c was over 14 years old. It turns out that Daniel understood my fears of past experiences and was more than willing to listen to me, answer my questions, and explain what he was doing along the way. Come to find out, Daniel discovered an electrical flaw in the way my previous a/c company (different company) installed my ultraviolet mold light in my evaporator unit—the water shut off valve was disabled by the other company in order to accommodate the installation of the ultraviolet light. This suddenly explained why my house flooded a while back when the line clogged. For a small fee, Daniel fixed the light’s installation to add a dedicated transformer and fixed my shut off valve. Daniel surely earned my trust and I specifically asked for him on all future service calls.

This Company put a new Maytag a.c. in 4 years ago which I was overcharged for could have gotten this a.c. for thousands less. Now there is a problem with the unit and they wont work on this a.c. any longer. Left me high and dry and I had to look for another a.c. company That would work on this a.c. Would not recommend this company.
My experience over the years working with HVAC, i found Seabee technicians (especially Daniel) to be extremely competent, knowledgeable, corteous and professional. If the goal is to have someone honest and trustworthy working on your HVAC, Seabee should be the first choice.

I won two free check ups. On the second check up the guy came to our house looked around for a while. He said we need all new ducts. That day our air conditioner stopped workimg. A couple of days later they sent someone out again and this guy told us we need a new air conditioner and that all of the coils were rusted. He told us it was going to be 10,000 dollars to fix. Unable to pay we reached out to another company. The coils are not rusted and the freon cap had been taken off. This company is a scam. Btw I have a 7 month old, my grandmother and my mother living here. My child now has a heat rash because of this scum company. This company put my child and my family in danger by letting out all of the freon during a heat wave. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This place sold us mold remediation we have since learned they are not licensed to sell. On a subsequent included service call, the tech claimed they had missed seriously messed up ducts on their last visit and our air handler was going to immediately rust out. Their fix was a full house duct replacement for $4,500+. When I said we needed a second estimate, the tech became defensive and asked why I scheduled him. I explained that the service call was included with the mold cleanup, but he got defensive again and demanded to know why we had him come out if I didnt trust him. Needless to say, I was mad and asked him to leave.I called the company to complain while the tech was still gathering his ladder. The manager, Angel, promised to pull the tech in for the day and review the photos/notes and call me back. He also promised to pull the tech out of the field for the day. The only calls I have received are to schedule my maintenance.I think its also important to note that the tech called the tech from November a retard, which is a shame in 2017.*We had a second estimate today, and our ducts are not in need of replacement.*So, we paid $1,000+ for mold cleanup where the remediation team didnt wear any protective gear and did their job in an hour.Do not be fooled by their tactics!
This is the WORST company in New Port Richey. If you enjoy your cold ac then do NOT let these people SCAM you. I repeat SCAM. they are a Rip off. They charge you to come look at your AC but dont fix anything. They charge you more money if theres a problem. This WHOLE business is a SCAM. they told me it was 54.95 and they get to my house and say I have a problem when my ac was working fine before you put your hands on it. And the people are so rude. So I Dont Normally write reviews but i wanted to take the time to recongize outstanding Service. I called Seabee AC after failed other attemps with 3 other companies and they were more than willing to help me. The Other companies i had left messages and never got back to me. Seabee AC Repair took my information listen to my problem and was there the same day! I wll Definitly be a customer for life! Oh and fixed it on the spot by the way.
Daniel did a thorough job with the inspection/maintenance, and was helpful the last time by telling me some of the things I could do to help keep the coils clean on my new unit (they installed over a year ago now) for the inspection that just happened. I did those things he suggested and my coils were very super clean this maintenance period, so yay! I never realized how much maintenance HVACs really need - this time I was recommended a duct/register cleaning at over $1000 that Im not sure how Ill afford...thats an entire months rent...but he said they have a payment plan that makes it easier. Its important to keep the unit under warranty so I try to make sure I do everything Im supposed to, and Daniel makes sure that the unit runs like its supposed to. I was also surprised because Ive had Daniel come out twice now in the maintenance rotation, and before him, with SeaBee and with other companies doing either repairs or maintenance, each visit would be a different technician, and each person that would come out would tell me different things and quote me different prices for different products. It was refreshing to have the same tech show up twice to inspect and maintain the same unit, and he remembered my system, which was great. It made me feel like SeaBee was more reliable, and I liked that my tech remembered the situation with my A/C system.Now, in a separate instance, and absolutely nothing to do with Daniel, I have to say, a friend to whom I recommended SeaBee A/C had a really bad experience with a quote for a new A/C install. The sales person quoted him something like $14K to replace the A/C unit in a 1 story 2/2 house ~1200 sq ft! That sales person manufactured problems that werent there to drive the cost up...and my friend cancelled that job after realizing he was being taken to the cleaners. Just a cautionary tale to say I think its all about the sales person you get when youre being quoted, and thats why its important to get multiple quotes. That sales person was supposedly fired after that. It pays to be aware of the market and take the quote that feels right. (He ended up with a very robust Brand name straight cool system for under $5k installed by another company).Anyway, thanks SeaBee for taking care of my propertys HVAC system. BUYER BEWARE. MY 91 year old mother was told her 13 year HVAC unit was not repairable and needed to be replaced. A new $7,491 unit was suggested. As always for $$$ this high, I get 2nd opinions. Today, an unrelated HVAC vendor said my unit was unplugged (electrical outlet plug is in-cased & requires a screwdriver to access). Problem was determined to be much less significant issue estimated at a cost of less than $300. I am reporting facts and my experience with this company. Your experience may be different than mine.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would never recommend this company to anyone, dealing with Angel was the worst experience I have ever had. Maybe should train the manager a little better on her poor communication skills and look into finding someone that will not hang up on customers.
Dont waste your time or money on this company. In Feb 2017 I let them do an expensive repair to mitigate mold. It’s now March 25 and I have an issue, its Saturday, the air handler is making noise and nobody answers the 24/7 number, even after multiple attempts.It’s hard to understand how a 24/7 emergency number goes unanswered, so I called a competitor, who showed me I was scammed.I was billed for a blower pull n clean, which didn’t happen; I have photographic proof of mold on the blower blades.I was billed for an in place coil clean, I have photographic evidence of mold on the coil. The competitor cleaned it with Simple Green and water.I was grossly over charged for a REME Halo system, which I have found on the web for an average of $495 wholesale, while they charged me $2595.I was charges $325 for mastic and tap supplies used on the plenum, which is about 24 x 24 x 24 with only the front having it applied.I was charged $275 for evaporator coil guard which I learned comes in a spray can, wholesale $25 - $50 depending on brand.I expect refunds as stated below.Blower pull -n- clean: $250In place coil clean: $125Mastic and tap supplies used on the plenum: $200REME Halo and 24 volt transformer: $1595Evaporator Coil Guard: $175Total refund: $2345Ill give you until March 31 to respond. If this makes it to Social Media, the BBB or even local media you could suffer damage to your brand.I can add the pictures if you like.Respectfully

The most obnoxious company you can ever deal with, you tell them you dont want service and they argue with you, then you ask to speak to a supervisor and she gets on the line and argues with you even more. SeaBee A/C is the absolute worst A/C company that I have ever come across! First of all, they harassed me for over a year and a half. They would call my house at least once a day, if not 3 or 4 times a day if I didnt answer, harassing me about setting an appointment to come out a service our A/C. This was so annoying and frustrating! Even aftr I told them that we were not interested, they still called! Secondly, when they did come out, they charged us $50 to LOOK at our A/C. Then they told us our 4 ton unit was blown up and they tried to sell us a $10,000 new A/C unit. We spent the summer with no A/C! We recently got a newer 3.5 ton unit and called some people out to install it. And much to our surprise, he said that there was NOTHING WRONG with our unit. All it need was some new points! He said that we were lucky because that was one of the easiest fixes on an A/C unit! So thank you SeaBee A/C for making me and my children suffer thru a hot summer!

Tech came this am to do what we thought was just routine maintenance on the unit..i am caretaker of this 85 year old elderly lady.i get called to come take care of SITUATION.I politely introduce myself and all HELL breaks lose with this dude condescending tech..i in turn am trying to reach her son.i finally do,and it gets worse..tech proceeds to call everyone a PRICK..HIS OWN WORDS..PRICK..i assume ladys son has words with him..he gets off phone and starts using GOD AWFUL LANGUAGE!!!!I just tell him to LEAVE..NOW,I ASK ANYONE THAT READS THIS..IS THIS PROFESSIONAL???THEY WILL NEVER BE BACK HERE..BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!
