I have no issue with the quality of work or the service people. I have a issue with the staff who answer the phone to set up an appointment. 1st the woman tells me she cant do Saturday, 1. they always done my job on a Saturday because i work during the week. 2. i have an appointment set up over a month ago that they needed to cancel and 3. i had to cancel an appointment thinking i had covid. all three appointments were on a Saturday. She was rude to me after i tried nicely to explain this to her. She just insisted that they wont do Saturday and rudely said she check. I asked to speak to someone else because i didnt care for her tone of voice and because she got me all worked up. She refused to give me someone else and put me on hold. She came back and said Sir we will be there on Saturday from 8 to 11 am as she was doing me a favor. I pay you people good money and i have the silver plan, which i am thinking of cancelling the appointment and getting my money back on the plan. How could you speak to a customer in that tone and expect them to want to do business with you. The reason makes no sense that on Saturday during the the summer they wont go in the attic to work on the a/c unit. I guess Monday to Friday the morning must be cooler than Saturday, I will not let anyone talk to me in a disrespect way for no reason, i did nothing wrong, listen to the recorded conversation. Sorry but i had to vent, she really made me upset for no reason. All she had to say was, please hold on and let me check to see what I can do. before flat out saying no we wont do Saturdays in a rude way.

Jeff went beyond on my expectations finding the cause of the air handler related leaks. I had service man come last Thursday and Friday, and he said all were set .Therefore I thought that the problem was all solved. However I discovered the continuous leaks from the ceiling in he garage on the day 4 after the repair. . Bay Area Air conditioning took responsibility and immediately sent another technician, the same day I called them. I cant tell how much he cared for the customers and their needs and he went so beyond the normal technicians may do. He was up there in the attic with the hot summer tempreture and spent over an hour to look for all possible leak related problems and fixed them all. He inspected the pipe for drain as well. After he spent all that time, I found him he was cleaning up the garage floor, the falling off pieces of popcorn from the ceiling from the leaks. He also hosed off my car hood as the same objects were on it. He was perspiring a lot but still smiling with his very calm and professional manner. I have never experienced in whole my life with such a dedicated and faithful serviceman. He is indeed a voice for BAY AREA AIR CONDITIONING. He is a very trust worthy and faithful service man to his company . Thank you so much Jeff, and Bay Are air conditioning company!!

Glen told me the truth about what is happening with our split system HVAC. Its not sized properly for our home, but it was here before we bought the house. It needs cleaned but it is not the type that is easily cleaned out. It also needs a new AC coil but they need to price it and let us know. I appreciated his candor. It was the second time we had someone out from their business. The unit is not keeping the house cool which is frustrating. It was supposedly put in in 2016. We dont have the warranty paperwork because we bought the house in 2018. We can set it at 76 or 78° and it will be 80 or 82° in the house no matter what. So now we have to set the thermostat higher so that it does not burn up. Instead we get to slightly burn up. I hope that were able to fix it at a reasonable price and not have to replace the whole system.

Cliff showed up before the scheduled window of time, quickly diagnosed the issue, and explained everything to me. Reasonable price and was able to make repairs quickly. Highly recommend this company.

We had our brand new HVAC system installed in 2017 and every year we have them come out to bring a filter & do an HVAC maintenance check. They are always prompt, polite and thorough, our technician Glen Hosapple even went so far as to pick up some dangerous roofing nails that the roofing company we used left in harms way. We used Bay Area when we still had are old HVAC and they took real good care of it, but it was 15 years old & no longer energy-efficient so they helped us pick out a new system by Carrier. It runs like a dream & not only is it energy-efficient, but they got us a nice rebate for upgrading. Great company! used them twice in a heat crisis while wife is nearly 9 months pregnant. Our a/c went out and they were able to come out same day both times. After much research, I decided to go with the Carrier brand. The HARD PART was choosing a company we could TRUST and COUNT ON in the future for our new system. I chose Bay Air Conditioning, Inc. due to their stellar reputation, based on many online reviews, and their years of service in the industry. Our new system was installed, and although we had some serious challenges to overcome, let me say in no uncertain terms, this company ABSOLUTELY PROVED why they have so many great reviews! They put one of their top techs, Jeff Myers, on the job. Jeff is one of the nicest, hardest working, and most conscientious people I have ever met. He was a calming force when things didnt go as planned and worked tirelessly to make sure the job was DONE RIGHT in the end. I cant say enough good things about this man! When it came to the final install work they also put one of their top installers, Sal (and his helper Cody), on the job. Sal is hard working, extremely pleasant, and communicative. Called Bayside this morning to let them know the ac unit in our garage was making a high pitched noise. We were told a technician would be out this afternoon to check it out. Later in the morning Matt (the technician) called to inform us that he was ahead of schedule and he would be coming early. When Matt arrived he listened to the noise and knew exactly what it was. He told us there was nothing wrong with the unit and said the noise was being caused by air being pulled into the unit which he was easily able to correct. Matt also checked our outside unit, tightened everything down and was on his way.I highly recommend Bayside Air Conditioning as they are responsive, professional and as we experienced with Matt today, very knowledgeable.

Called at 4 pm because AC wouldnt cool for past 4 days. Came out same day. Diagnosed quickly. Recharged refrigerant which is in limited supply and was told it the unit is 26 years old. Yes I will use them when replacing my system, but for now, I have a cool house again. Thank you!

Pete and all staff of Bay Area Air were great. After returning from 8 days being gone from the house, I turned on the AC and no cold air was coming out of the vents. I had gotten a quote from a different HVAC repair company and they said the reason my AC was so loud was because it needed either a good cleaning or replace the duct work altogether. Said it would be 7700 for new duct work and 1700 to perform a cleaning. So I got a second opinion,and boy was I glad. Cliff immediately found the issue, it was just a metal wall that had been installed with the unit was rattling against a cement wall. So he fabricated a metal strap to hold it in place and viola! No more loud freight train noise! I only paid 127.... thank God for that second opinion!

Jeff Myers came over to do the yearly maintenance for the second year in a row and couldnt be happier with Jeff, is extremely professional and very knowledgeable aswered all my questions and explained them very well he also took the time to reset our thermostat for the next service call reminder, been in this house for over twenty five years and hes the best technician I ever had servicing our AC unit, also very happy with the office staff Lori who scheduled my service and Lisa who explained the service maintenance agreement very well.Highly recommend this company to anyone.

Thermostat (Ecobee) kept going Offline. Turned out that the the connections on the air handler installed last year were shorting out reducing the voltage to the thermostat. Been running fine since Jeff repaired.

Well my 3 month old AC outdoor unit is rattling and making a loud noise. I called for the company to come out and check it out before it gets worse. The guy came out and flat out told me he didnt hear anything and that the unit looks good. He said he cant do anything as he doesnt see anything wrong. He also then told me to call the company back and let them know this and see if they could send out a younger person who might hear this issue I am speaking about. He said they would have a laugh when I called and told them this. So now I am stuck wondering if this is what everyone is going to come out and say to me. That they dont hear anything. I really regret going with this company now as I already had an issue with the finance dept. Now the actual unit is making a noise and vibrating very noticeably and I am being left to feel like I am crazy or something. The Google reviews for this company were great which is what led me to use them. This is my experience so far 3 months in. He said I could call and get a second opinion from another company.... That would cost me money and I already spent 8500 dollars. I thought there were warranties for a reason. He also recommended me to extend my labor warranty . Great, what have I got myself into.

Just installed today and so far so good. The technicians were prompt and courteous. They explained everything well. The work looks nice and everything was cleaned up nicely when they left.

Marc arrived promptly, masked and maintaining a safe distance from the front door. After explaining the situation with my AC unit, he began an assessment of the potential issues. He was able to quickly determine that the root cause was electrical in nature, rather than a failure of the cooling unit. After showing me photos of the issue, we determined that I could do the necessary electrical repair. Marc was polite, friendly, and when he could have been dishonest about the fix for my air conditioning system, he took the high road and I was able to save some money as well. Im very appreciative for his efforts and wouldnt hesitate to recommend or request him.

My AC was short cycling - i.e. running for a few minutes, then turning off for long periods of time. I made an appointment in the morning and a technician was at my house before 4PM. Marc found the problem quick and my AC was fixed in 15 minutes. It was a pleasure speaking with Marc as he was very knowledgeable and helpful with tips.

Repairman arrived earlier than indicated and replaced blower - Jeff was courteous and informative.

We have schedule an appointment for 3/9/2021. They didnt show up or called to cancel appointment. They show up unannounced 2 days later. I was very upset. I lost 1/2 of work waiting on them now days you cant afford to lose work.The tech offer to reschedule but I was not going to take a chance again. He did a good job. I have used this company before but I dont know if Ill used it again.The company owner contacted me to explained and apologized for the misunderstanding. I do appreciate his commitment.

The installers have just left after installing a Carrier HVAC system in my 30+ year old home; and from scheduling the initial bid through installation the process has been seamless. The sales rep listened to my needs and provided me with bids for 3 levels of units, all of which beat their competitors bids. Within several hours of accepting the bid, I had an installation date. The installers showed up a week later as scheduled; they were professional, polite and efficient. They installed my unit and when the they left except for a sleek new compressor there was no evidence that anyone had been at my home working all day.Beside beating competitors price I chose Bay Area on my brother’s recommendation, he has an older Carrier unit installed by Bay Area and has been very pleased with both Carrier and their service.

My husband and I were very impressed by the company and our technician Jeff. We called because our thermostat was blank and they were able to come out same day! Customer service was friendly and helpful. Our technician Jeff was very honest and helpful. He even gave us maintenance tips to keep our system in good shape. Our solution turned out to be a clogged drain pipe which just required a routine maintenance service to resolve. Jeff went above and beyond by trimming our drain pipe which was too low to the ground. He was very careful and cleaned up afterwards. Well definitely be having our AC serviced by this company yearly. Highly recommend!

I bought my house a about a year ago and recently I thought that the AC works a little bit harder than I expected it. During the day it never shuts off and the temperature it 2° warmer than what I set it on. Figuring there was something wrong I called Bay area air conditioning. They told me it would be $69 for a diagnostic check and if repairs needed to be done that that amount would be applied towards the repair and there would be no service fee. When I made the appointment for the following day I requested that they would call me and give me a heads up they were on their way because I have 3 kids that go to 3 different schools and wanted to make sure I was home at that time. The technician Called me just as requested. Jeff was very polite and professional. After looking at everything he informed us that the AC was working in perfect condition and it was the right size for the house. He informed my husband and I that the air conditionings in Florida sometimes have a hard time keeping up with the heat. We had a bunch of questions and he answered every single one of them. I was expecting for the technician to tell me I had things wrong and tried to sell me things I did not need but he did none of that. I did end up scheduling another appointment, this time for a yearly maintenance since we lived here over a year and havent had the AC looked at. I have to say, It was a wonderful experience and if we ever have any other issues I will be calling them again and recommending them

He even cleaned out the interior of the outside unit, which is a rare event in my experience with annual Preventative Maintenance service on my AC units. He also provided me with current replacement estimates for my aging Air Conditioner.This is the second time I have used Bay Area AC, and I have been very pleased with their service department on both occasions.Additionally, I referred this company to my son, who also engaged them to perform AC service he required at his new home in Brooksville.... and he had only praise for the results of the service work that was performed there.I will definitely be calling on Bay Area AC when the time comes to replace my current AC unit. Keep up the great work!!!More recently, I put in a call on a Sunday morning, as the unit stopped running. I received a prompt call back from a Serviceman (Bill) who walked me thru a quick list of potential issues. In doing so, we discovered the problem to be an overflow switch on the drain, which had just gotten stuck. I replaced the switch after a brief cleaning, and problem solved! Now thats what I call great Service Thank you !!!!

Mark came out and did a phenomenal job evaluating our A/C and made appropriate adjustments as well. He was friendly, and very knowledgeable. He clearly was there to help us with our problem, and not to get as much money out of the stop as he could. That is very rare in this market and due to that professionalism we will do all our A/C business with them moving forward.

My AC had stopped working so I called them and got the after hours operator. He was very professional, took all my information and told me I would get a call back from one of the service men within 15 minutes. I actually got called back about 7 minutes later.
