The lady who runs the place is friendly and welcoming. The place is small but who needs a large laundry mat when you have this amazing place. - the entrance is hard to get into. Construction with the entrance walk way is occurring. Also hard to find due to construction.

Not too bad a little busy when we were there. You can wash and dry your own clothes but youre not allowed to fold them there right now, as they are trying to help emergency workers and have limited space. They do offer a wash service though $3.50 a pound. Over all our experience was a pleasant one, would completely recommend.

Fabulous!I am SO glad we found this place!! After 5 days of our road trip adventure, we needed a laundry stop and Dinah was so easy to work with and super friendly. We were able to drop our laundry off and when she was done the laundry was delivered to our hotel, folded and bagged. We received a text when it was delivered. I highly recommend her laundry services!!!

Suds Dem Duds is such a welcome business in the French Quarter!After four days of walking through New Orleans on my vacation, my clothes smelled aweful. I looked up laundry services in the French Quarter and was surprised to find Suds Dem Duds. Dinah washed and folded my clothes, and I was able to pick them up the same day! Now, my clothes are fresh and clean again!

Staying at high end French Qtr. hotel with no laundry service since COVID. So I brought laundry down to Suds Dem Duds...Dinah was FANTASTIC..even delivered back to hotel for small fee... Just can’t say enough good things.

Dinah is an absolute treat. She makes you feel absolutely welcomed, as if you were close family. If you pay for a wash and fold, she packs it like a neat little package. I highly recommend this place, you wont be disappointed!

Needed to do a quick wash, no dry, and got turned away from another laundry because 45 minutes wasn’t enough time in case their washers broke. Walked in, Dinah was immediately welcomed, directed to the free laundry soap and invited to chill. Sang along to Maroon 5, got to pet a corgi from around the corner who stopped by for a treat, was given a free bottle of water while I waited and offered cookies.It’s weird to say that laundry washing was the highlight of my New Orleans trip, but it really was. Highly recommend.

After our washing machine decided to quit, we quickly discovered in these Covid days it’s not that easy to get a repair person. After the clean clothes were gone, and we were contemplating the feasibility of wearing our Mardi Gras costumes as daywear, we called Suds Dem Duds for laundry service. Dinah picked up 30lbs of laundry at our home within 2 hours of our call, and delivered it back in less than a day. Socks, towels, t-shirts, all separated, beautifully folded, and presented neatly tied with lovely ribbons. I couldn’t have been more delighted. Dinah was a total sweetheart. So locals, this is your place, whether you’re in a bind, or just need a break during or after these strange times.

The lady who helped me here was one of the nicest people that I met when I first came to New Orleans. She was very conversational and even shared some of her food, which I appreciate after a long Amtrak ride into town. I believe this is sort of like a local hang out in the French quarter, so be a good person and patronize is business

This is the only laundromat in the Quarter that Ill go. Prices are perfect and Dina is great! If you dont have detergent or dryer sheets, shell only charge 25 cents each! The patrons that come here are very nice also!EDIT: You need to bring your own detergent and fabric softener. Still the only place Ill do laundry

Wonderful service! Dropped off a week’s worth of my travel clothes in morning — got them back freshly laundered and delivered to my hotel by late afternoon. $30 for 10 lbs. (included return delivery.) Much less than hotel rate of $5 for single blouse. Came neatly folded, wrapped with a ribbon 🎀. Thanks Dinah!

Great service here from Dinah who is a real character! The laundry service at the hotel was crazy expensive, but Dinah washed, dried and folded 9lbs of clothes for $26. She even wrapped them in a bag with ribbon around! Suds Dem Duds is great.

Great place to wash your clothes at decent price. Place was clean and smelled like fresh laundry. Owner was very helpful and pleasant. She even entertained my 2 year old with some coins. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

We came with our son and his wife to do their laundry after getting off the cruise ship. So we met Dinah and she had a very clean place with great prices and music. She also takes in laundry and does it for customers. She was very meticulous in folding the clothes and was the sweetest person. You will absolutely fall in love with her. She also takes in dry cleaning! Go see her you will love her!

I was visiting from out of town and needed to wash my clothes. Very nice and helpful staff and clean facility. She played some local artist while I was there and we had great conversation. I will be using them again!

I called for laundry service this morning around 10:30 and asked for same day service AND pick up and delivery. Thinking it wasn’t going to happen, the owner, Dinah, was amazing!She picked my laundry from my hotel at 11:30 and dropped them back off at 2:30! What?!? Amazing! I wish I had one of these back home!

Dinah was very helpful, detergent is free even though I brought my own. Facilities are clean and machines are in excellent working condition at fair prices. Plenty of room to organize clothes. If you wait, good music plays in background, or you can hold conversation with Dinah and other people inside or not, its up to you. You forget you are on bourbon street while you do laundry, very pleasant experience.

Dinah is warm, friendly, and very efficient :) We dropped some clothes off for her wash, dry, and fold service while we were on vacation. Dinah even asked about allergies to detergents, which Im glad she did since Im allergic to most of them. Everything was delivered back to our hotel that evening clean and folded REALLY nicely. Knowing Dinahs wonderful business was only a few blocks from our hotel made it so I only had to pack half as much clothing as we needed for our 11 day trip.

I dropped off a blanket and had it cleaned at a reasonable price here. It did not fit in my own washer and dryer. And they were very nice. Also dropped off my dry cleaning. There’s not a lot of parking but actually came out to the car and got the stuff when I called.

Not far from hotel where we are staying. With the amount of travelling we are doing its important we have somewhere we can do laundry and not too pricey per load. Because of locations we havent washed for almost 2 weeks. The machines here are large enough for us to do one load price is great. You can use your own detergent and Diah is great and so helpful

The prices of the machines are a reasonable price. I used this place on vacation before starting a week long cruise. I definitely would recommend them. Ill use them again when in town.

Best price on Bourbon. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Detergent is free with wash and dryer sheets are only 25 cents. Would DEFINITELY recommend doing laundry here if you are in the French Quarter!

Went in after 9 days holidaying and only 1night in new Orleans. She was able to wash and fold 2 peoples luggage and deliver to our hotel within 3 hours. Price was on the mark with what I expected to. Owner was real friendly and nice. Definitely use this place with any washing

This place is excellent! Get Dinah to wash, dry and fold your clothes or do it all yourself (as we did)! Washing liquid is free! We washed for $3.25 and dried for $3! Dinah is so friendly and will send you on your way with a hug if you want one!

As a native of New Orleans, she can help you with places to see, establishments to eat (of any sort) and things to do (and when). A short three blocks from the French Market and eleven blocks from Canal Street.I walked to the establishment from Canal, did my own laundry, spoke with Dinah for two hours and eat at several establishments she recommended. It may be a little more than other laundromats in New Orleans (however it is average price for French quarter) but detergents is free to use and the service is amazing. Another place around the corner charges $3 for a pod. In and out in less than an hour. Would definitely go back again

Will is the most helpful and friendly man. Came and picked up our laundry from the hotel and dropped it back washed, dry and folded so neatly nothing needs ironing. They only charge $2 per pound of laundry so our 4 bags came to $43. I paid him $60, his service was so good.

After spending two days in NOLA before getting on a cruise, we did not want to haul a lot of dirty clothes on the ship and pay for cleaning aboard. The EXTREMELY nice owner and her employee were happy to help us out, even though they were so busy with the holidays and the Sugar Bowl. Next time we are here, we are bringing our laundry to her to ensure less for us to do at home!!

There has been a laundromat at this location (corner of Bourbon and Ursulines) since 1986. I have been a regular (off-and-on; mostly on) customer since the beginning. Dinah is by far the best manager this place has ever had. So good to have a reliable laundromat in ones neighborhood that you really depend on!

Even when on vacation, the laundry still needs to be taken care of. The lady who runs this facility is very friendly, provides free detergent, shows out of towners how the facility works. She provides everything that is required to get your laundry done while away from home. This is by far the least expensive way. She even provides a service to do it for you! Thankyou Google for providing this review service.

After a memorable but sadly unclean experience at Hula Maes Tropic Wash earlier in our visit to N.O., we chose Suds dem Duds for our 2nd laundromat adventure on the basis of its Google reviews. We had a perfect visit - helpful and welcoming attendant, a well loaded change machine, fast/extra size washing machines and good smelling detergent on tap. It was a bit cramped and I guess there could have been a few more home comforts but with the French Quarter on the doorstep we werent looking for anything else. Thank you, SdD. I am not sure we can come back any time soon, but we hope this review prompts a few more tourists to head your way.
