A lot less crowded due to Covid-19 but the location is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Several cleaning stations in each area and staff will periodically sanitize equipment. Crime in the area caused the New Orleans east location to shorten their hours and add security officers who seem uninterested in securing anything.

Overall very good convenient and easy to get to! We like the new equipment and the new layout!!

Cleanliness is very important when it comes to a gym. Im happy with this location, very clean and its perfect for my routine.

Love working out here. Everyone is friendly and location is clean. However, I get to the gym for 5am and half of the time they don’t open until about 30/45 mins after. It’s a real inconvenience and cuts into my workout time before work.

Love the gym and its staff are friendly, helpful and amazing.The place is always energetic and very clean and sanitized. The staff works very diligently to keep things clean.Only issue I have is even though there are signs all over the gym requiring masks at ALL times there are a few who walk in with a mask but are working out without them.This is a safety concern about those who want to get healthy but not get CovidBut other than that I absolutely love coming here for my workouts.

This gym is my most favorite place to come to & your staff is absolutely amazingly polite..helpful..& clean. They are always cleaning throughout the facility & making sure that you, the members, practice the cleaning procedures as well. I only have a problem with the members parking in handicap spots who are not, so when I come, theres almost always never a spot for us handicap members... and some of the gyms equipment does not work..massage beds..USB charging port on massage chairs..but still my favorite place to be..cant wait to own a franchise of my own 1 day..

Please stay away from this gym by any cost! My husband and I made the worst decision getting a membership here. This past Sunday my car and four other people at this gym car got broken into. I mean everyone glass was broken damaged doors! No one heard or seen anything! Not even the security guard on duty! They didn’t even tell us cars were being broken into. We all found out by telling each other. The staff never made a announcement to alert customers what was going on. It seems like to me and the 3 other people that this was a inside job...... This has happened before at this particular gym. WARNING!!!!!!!Please stay away from this gym!

Happy Happy Joy Joy... Talk about a BRIGHT SPOT, literally & figuratively. This is one of FEW businesses that have decided to open in EAST NEW ORLEANS in this Post Katrina Era. Glad to have this location available to the folks in New Orleans East, we need to work out too.Ample parking. Equipment is well kept. Planet Fitness has met that challenge. My prayer is that the folks allow this business to remain PROFITABLE. Keep the facility clean & dont vandalize it. I can speak to this, I live about 3.2 miles from this location & I am painfully aware of the state of NEW ORLEANS EAST.Praise God for this facility. I can get my work-out on without having to drive 10 miles from my home.Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Friendly guests & members.Ill be here more often.

I love this place! Its always clean, the staff are friendly and not really crowded at the times I go. The location is convenient and the best part is its only $10. Only downfall I have is that its not open anymore 24/7 😢

Nice vibe. Friendly staff and place is clean with enough machines and stations to where you dont have to wait. Bathrooms and locker rooms are clean and neat. I can do my work out without feeling pressured or watched.

Planet Fitness overall is a pretty good gym. This one is a bit smaller than the other and would be nice if they found a larger property to fill. They no longer run 24 hours so it can stay busy.For all PF: there needs to be more free weights as well as space to use. I like the no Lunk policy, but it only takes a couple of meat heads staring at themselves in the mirror to waste the space for the rest of us. So again, more space please.

Get the black card membership and go to any Planet Fitness you want. Its really worth the money if you travel a lot. Only thing I wish is that they had spin bikes.Im so happy to see Bring the East back in full effect especially businesses that promote health and fitness.

Great location, cheap rates, and accessible equipment. The only downfall is the hours of operation. I wish it stayed open 24hrs like most of the other locations rather than closing at 11pm. As a military vet who works the mid shift, I am left with a limited amount of time to workout during the night due to the hours of operation

I’m normally in the gym 3x a week for strengthening after having surgery. It’s not crowded during my time slot and there’s plenty of equipment readily available. Staffing is adequate.

I live on the road and needed a gym that is everywhere. I tried Anytime Fitness first and glad I came here! The staff at the front desk is awesome and so is the gym. Very clean and they have any piece of equipment you need...for a fraction of the price. So happy to be part of the Planet Fitness team!

Love the planet fitness here! When I go late in the mornings, its usually pretty empty and everyone here seems pretty conscious about wiping the seated machines & mats down with the spray they have near the trash cans after theyre done using them.

Love this club. Lots of room, equipment is very good. And most of all, no idiots hanging around making noise.

I love this place totally a no judgement zone. Went there to tan and ended up going for full membership. Not only do I tan but asked their trainers to show me how their machines work. You can plug your music into them its great.

Very clean. Great place to work out. However if you are the one to make a lot of noise ( bring attention to yourself aka LUKE) this is not the gym for you. Also the hours of operation recently changed (5am-11pm).

Sadly I had to give one star. I would rather give none! Jaydee Simmons and her piss poor attitude and her customer service experience says a lot about the environment. She couldn’t even answer questions without an attitude. After all the years I was a member I will no longer put my money into this franchise.

It is now 20 minutes past opening and the place is still dark, with a parking lot full of idling cars waiting for the place to open. Yet another workout ruined by piss-poor Planet Fitness work ethic.

If there is one word to describe what I Like about planet fitness. I will Say Everything.but we could use heavier free weights.

One of planet fitness perks is the 24hr time they used to have. Now that theyre no longer 24hrs and close early on the weekend, Ill have to join another club. One good thing is the Clean facality.

Planet Fitness in New Orleans East have a great staff and excellent trainers that really care about thier members!

At least one of the staff members is very unprofessional. I went there to freeze my account and had medical papers with me explaining that while under a doctors care/physical therapy I have physical limitations. The young man suggested that I just cancel my membership. I was shocked and told him that if this was my place of business I would not want him to work for me, because instead of trying to retain members he is encouraging me to cancel. When he gave me the form to complete my reason for cancellation I explained that it was because of him. When I received an email from Planet Fitness a couple of weeks later it showed a different reason for my cancellation, which indicates the young man altered my paperwork. Very disappointing.

As far as location from my house it was great. However, the main equipment that people use for abs there was only one. Machines were broken most of the time. I agree that the staff is very unprofessional. They dont offer family packages so my husband could only work out when I was off (so they claim no family packages). The facility had water leaked and they would allow personal trainers that didnt work there train individuals which stopped you from using the equipment. Now Im seeing its 11pm which is another issue.

I would rank them higher if this location had the same hours (24),and level of service (more staff/maintained equipment).

Time to get fitand procrastinated too long years has gone by its time to get working. household has been working out 5 a.m. in the morning not able to make it cuz its due to work but trying to of get somewhere in somewhere

I hate the fact that the hours of operation keep changing. Why is this the only Planet Fitness that isn’t 24hrs? That’s the main reason I signed up.

This place is very unprofessional. There was no tour of the facility once signing up. I had to keep stopping my workout to asks questions that couldve been discussed during the tour. They were out of T-shirts when both me and my friend signed up. The employees are ALWAYS on their cell phones and dont give you any undivided attention. I will NEVER go to this location again.

They are unprofessional, theyre being run by children who cant adress serious Cacerns. Maneger is hardly on site and after 7pm as i was told by an employee, there is NO maneger on site, dispite the fact that thisis a 24hr establishment. They play so many games with members that its one of the 1st things you here when you mention this particular location is dont do it, they are going to steal your money and they are so unprofessional for example ive been on hold for 20 mins now waiting for Tyrone the assistant maneger. Now as i am typing a nother employee named Taylor who is not a maneger is attempting to tell me that i never signed a contract to freeze activity on my account, meanwhile Im holding that contract in my hand. Please do NOT sign up with this company and especially not this location on CROWDER BLVD. Scottie Wollard the maneger is a liar and is miss-maneging this site. I am now going for the so called reginal maneger Zerushka Lagos. This is the worse experience i have ever had.

This is probably the worst Planet Fitness I have ever been to. They are very rude and make bright and gifted talents like myself feel harassed, they would even call other Planet Fitness locations and throw salt on the membership and have it canceled out of reckless passive aggressiveness. I never been so embarrassed in my life being told I cant use the free wifi, especially on Memorial Day, and Im a Veteran. Boooooo, Boooooo, Lol
