Im not going to complain about the cleanliness and service because everyone else has already said. My issue is the lack of basic equipment and showers. The only reason I bought a membership is because theyre 24 hours and theyre close. Otherwise, Id be at Simply Fit

Newish member. Place is well maintained and solid choice of equipment. no frills gym for a solid work out. on the small side so gets a little crowded at certain times. bike rack to lock up. plenty of paper towels/disinfectant.

Meh. Very nice staff. Definitely a place you can workout, it’s just a little gross and compact. But yeah, you can workout here

This anytime is smaller then some of the others in New Orleans. If its not too crowded, then Its ok. it also has tanning beds. The gym has full service cardio equipment and a good number of nautilus machines. They have cages with bumber plates for olympic lifts. its good for a smaller number of people . the dumbells 9nly go to 100, so your pressing options will be limited. otherwise good

Thats the place I work out and I love it I like that is open 24 hours and that I can use any location because I move around a lot

Even worse than the Lakeview location!!! :( Dirty, squeaky old equipment in a tiny gym with no showers. I tried this one while working in Uptown after my dismal experience in Lakeview and I also bought a day pass here. The horrid owner, Jolie, which means “pretty” LOL could not have been nastier when I asked her about the location of some basic equipment and showers and she was rude and defensive about having neither. Apparently there is no quality control at this franchise, which is a shame as they are convenient and practically everywhere. The worst part for me is that I’m starting to travel more and I was going to join while in New Orleans. Based on what I’ve seen elsewhere, I’m guessing (and hoping) that these are simply anomalies and unreported disgraces to the franchise, both from a facilities and ownership/management standpoint.

LOVE the gym! As the manager, everyone has different needs so not everyone will be happy with everything a gym has to offer. We are proud to be the ONLY 24 hour gym uptown, with over 20 cardio machines, a new glutes machines, TRX and a boxing room...... hope youll enjoy it too!

Of all times, this tiny gym should be spotless and its far from it! Cant imagine disinfecting is in their vocabulary since basic cleaning isnt. Get with it people, this is not an unreasonable expectation. The fact that the management is rude and unprofessional in addition to lazy would make me blame the franchise had I not experienced so much better elsewhere. Even the one in the Bywater, which is an average location, is worlds better than this dump. Every time I travel on business Im reminded how horrible this gym is. Hurry up contract and expire already!!! My fiance and I cant wait!

The owner (Jolie) is notoriously rude to practically everyone. She has a well-earned reputation for this that I got to experience 1st hand. Besides that, the gym is tiny, the equipment is dated and it’s filthy.

To start, our experience with gym memberships in New Orleans have not been the same as other areas of the country we have lived in. As a whole, they tend to be pricier for smaller square footage/gym equipment or much much pricer for more than I am looking for out of a gym.Anytime Fitness was a good middle road in New Orleans. The Freret street location is small. My wife and I moved from Milwaukee where we had a ~$20/month membership to Planet Fitness which was 3x the size.With that said, in all my visits are I have been able to access a treadmill. Some treadmills are a little noisier than others. For weights, you just have to be flexible. You might not get the exact piece of equipmentyou want to in the order you want it.Overall, as far as gyms go in New Orleans, Anytime Fitness is a good option for those that are flexible in there workout plans. You can always work out in off peak hours.

As an extremely frequent business traveler and a serious fitness enthusiast, it’s almost certain that I’ve visited well over 100 fitness centers around the US, with many of them being Anytime Fitness clubs. This is by far, and I mean really far, the most neglected Anytime I’ve experienced. The gym was dirty, the equipment was worn and what wasn’t worn looked very old. Considering it’s also one of the smallest gyms I’ve visit (it’s tiny!) would it really require that much time and effort to keep it clean and at least somewhat modern? I only stayed because I didn’t have time find a decent location. Apparently this location has been overlooked by the franchise as much as its owners.

This gym is calling in full membership payment if the June 2020 payment wasnt paid. Its dirty, the equipment dangerous, not even half of the bikes are working, and they are rude. Never go to this Gym. I tried to go when they opened, and no one was there sanitizing. DANGER!!

Great place to work out at, especially for beginners. The staff I’ve met so far is nice, and they gave my boyfriend and I two discounts when signing up because we are students and we work on Freret street. We go after work late at night and it’s never crowded at that time.

Water cooler is perpetually empty and the other option is a disgusting water fountain that obviously hasnt been cleaned for a very long time. Or the bathroom faucet, and thats just wrong. Free weights have a lot of busted handles, seems like upkeep and repair are not high on their list of priorities. They do have a decent amount of equipment for a small place, and its the only gym for miles around, so they pretty much have the market cornered.

My gym and I love! Its not pretentious and the staff is great. It is small and can get a little crowded but everyone is very courteous and respectful of each others space. My only complaint is that the incline sit up bench is always in an awkward spot. I kinda wish they would unisex the bathroom to create an are for the excess equipment. I mean its an urban area gym in 2018, we can pee in the same hole.

I think it’s horrible that y’all are open right now when other places of fitness like Ochsner fitness and other places care actually care about people’s fitness and well-being that are close but y’all are open just to make a buck y’all should close doors until the numbers go down I was thinking about joining there but never now

First time leaving a comment on anything but I went out of my way to leave one here. The woman running this place is only polite until she establishes a contract with you. She doesnt seem to actually care about anything I asked. Im trying to stay healthy and wanted some help with exercises and she left the building after she agreed to help me. My grandson talked me into joining his gym and Ill never look back. Learn from my mistakes my dears, look elsewhere.

They managed to have a room for their tanning beds but no showers??? Seriously you guys!!!first AF gym Ive seen without any showers. Take your tanning bed and your boxing room out and put in a shower. Priorities. You workout, you sweat, you need a shower.

The facility is usually clean. Friendly membership.. But,... The attendant seems to be stalker-ish I. There... Like a creepy gra D father looking at kids in a see-saw... He always tends to BR husy and liki g around and atari g when the guys come in. Im a gym rat and Im usually there most peak times. Its just weird and kind of awkward.I still go, bc iys a block away.. But Ill alter my times not to get or feels loomed in on.... Ijs

Dont sign up here!! Horrible customer service, since they dont have a customer service line and central coordination I got the run-around trying to cancel my membership and was billed 2 months I didnt use for both me and my girlfriend, management at this location was cold and condescending and did nothing to rectify situation. Also the gym is super small so if you go anytime but midnight good luck getting the equipment you need.

Keeping up with the competition has unfortunately never been a priority at this location.

This is a small to moderately sized gym, the value is appropriate for the style (~$55/mo). There are ample treadmills, the machines are a but haphazardly placed filling in the space because of the walls that exist. The free weights provide appropriate coverage for whatever exercise you might prefer with 2 squat racks and bumper plates as well as a smith machine. The dumbells lack enough housing so many sit on the floor disorganized under weight rack. Having recently moved Im feeling as if I were spoiled previously in comparison to the areas exercise options.- equipment is worn, no discernible improvement over 1+ year. Likely wont renew. Now equipment staying broken weeks at a time

Good workout on vacation.

Overpriced. They closed the gym for around two weeks to remodel aka repaint, yet they didnt bother adding any new machines or even fixing the machines they do have. Everything is the same, even the TVs. Just a bad paint job and some stone veneer for the enterence.Management isnt friendly, and the only reason the gym has any business is because theres no competition. Someone should open a gym with quality working equipment (there is newer one treadmill here, but thats it).Remodel is misleading because the machines are so old.

This place is in a great location, but it is strictly barebones when it comes to gym equipment. One squat rack, one Smith machine, and no other barbells (outside of one EZ bar). Good DB selection, a handful of kettlebells, and your essential must haves lifting machines. Its small, and when 5+ people get into the weight room area, it feels pretty crowded. Im not sure if Ive ever seen anyone actually working there, so good luck if you have questions about the equipment. Overall, its ok. You can get a workout in, but with limited options. The gym is visibly clean, but drop to the ground to do push ups or burpees, and youll come up with hands covered in grime. Its a shame it isnt managed better, because the location is perfect. Oh well.

Worse service ever... cancelled and they still billed me twice in the same month. Called the billing service and they say call the club but the club is never staffed when the billing office is open. Most poorly operated business I have ever seen
