I visited here recently to book multiple events along the shores of Lake Pontchartrain & spoke with DeeDee, the manager. She is one of the best at her position. HOWEVER, I called a few days ago to see how they weathered Hurricane Zeta & unfortunately, they sustained severe structural damage & are awaiting for their insurance company to decide what will happen next. This place was so elegant & exquisitely appointed, Im saddened to think what the outcome may be...stay tuned.

My daughter and her husband hosted a Wedding/Reception at this location over labor day weekend 2020. The original venue went out of business and La Maison Du Lac was able to accommodate us and they did an excellent job! Thanks DeeDee and crew!

We held our daughters wedding here in Oct 2019. Cannot say enough great things about the venue and staff.Worked with DiDi for several months on coordinating everything. She was always available and give great insights and suggestions.Dont let the exterior of the venue influence you until you see the inside AND the large outside open air deck.What a fantastic experience for both the parents, the couple and all the attendees. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Attended my cousins wedding here. Beautiful!!! Quiet and quaint. Awesome views of the river makes for great pictures. The set up allows for indoor and outdoor use of the complete facility. Parking is a little frustrating. I had to park about two blocks away and walk back to the facility, but that doesnt diminish the 5 star rating of the facility. Great venue!!!

Very nice meeting space and would be a great weekday/weekend getaway along the lakefront. Loved hanging out on the balcony throughout the day.

Attended a wedding reception here. The venue has the perfect mix of elegance and manageability. It is not overwhelming in size. Guest can mingle, dance, enjoy the lakeview or dine without having to hike from area to area. At the same time, it never felt crowded. Loved the transitions between the outdoor and indoor spaces. Valet parking, and strategically placed lavatories add to the convenience. I think it is perfect for small to mid-sized events.

I went to a wedding here and it is a BEAUTIFUL place for an outdoor ceremony and reception.Very classy and elegant spot on the Lakefront.The scenery outside is perfect for photos!!

I had such a great time at our company Christmas party. Such a beautiful venue with an amazing outdoor area with views of the marina. The food was delicious plus Dee Dee and her staff are great. Definitely recommend.

I attended a very eloquent wedding April 21, 2018 and the venue was beautiful. The bride made exquisite menu choices, but all the food was served cold to the guest except the shrimp pasta and shrimp & grits. The cater needed help so the food trays could stay filled. The trays were always empty and guest was always waiting in line. The venue need a commercial warmer for the caters or the venue may want to use a different cater. Other than the cold food the venue would have received a 5 star. I would use and recommend this venue if this issue would be corrected.

La Maison du Lac is one of the most beautiful venues in the city.It is elegant, beautifully decorated and it is in a great location.imagine having your quinceanera or wedding reception at the banks of the lake Pontchartrain; wow, simply spectacular..I have been there for breakfast meetings, political fundraisers, weddings, girls night out and even a fashion show. Each time I have gone there, Ii have become more amazed at the beauty of the place, and at the way the staff manages to transformed this venue into whatever the client wishes. the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the food and entertainment are first class, and when it comes to the outside of the place, there is nothing to compare. I once saw a bride arrive in a yacht and greet her many guests from that vessel, and on a night full of stars, spectacular to say the least.When my daughter gets married, this is definitely the place where we will hold her wedding reception..

Just what you would expect from the friendliest people in New Orleans. Went here for a wedding. My only complaint is that I could not stay longer. From the valet, to the chefs, to the staff and atmosphere. EXCELLENT! Keep doing what you are doing.

I have been to a couple weddings here, and have been in a wedding here and each time they have been fabulous! The location, the decorations, the food, and the service of the staff was amazing! DeeDee is an amazing hostess and helped my friend with anything she needed! Cant wait to speak with her about doing my wedding here!

This venue was AMAZING! If you’re looking for the perfect venue that your guest can’t stop talking about, this is it. The fact that this venue is on the lake makes for great pictures and great conversation for your guest. My husband and I got married at St. Edward the Confessor and held the reception at La Maison Du Lac. We had a rather large wedding with about 150 guests. They really pay attention to all requests big or small. We also rented the bridal suite upstairs. It was great for all the pre-wedding photos and my husband and I loved just being able to go upstairs after it was all over. Our guest can’t stop talking about how beautiful all the details were and how much fun they had.

La Maison du lac events is an absolutely gorgeous venue. We had an event there with friends and family and the staff was very friendly and the food was good. The outside of the venue is just a stunning space with a balcony overlooking lake ponchartrain and an outside dance floor or for outdoor weddings by the lake it was beautiful. The staff decorated it to look like it came right out of a event book. La Maison also has a bridal sweet upstairs which we recommend for anyone getting married. There is a beautiful reception area inside.

I enjoyed the venture, but the vallet parking was something to be desired.

My Sisters Wedding was my reason for visiting the venue; therefore, it was awesome. We had a great time!

Nice venue for invitational affairs of 150 max. indoors downstairs. Larger accommodations in the charming garden setting. Parking limited.

I went to a party here and the whole place was beautiful including the outside the food was great and service was impeccable. I’d recommend to anyone throwing and party or wedding to have it here very lovely!!!

There for business social. Nice place, but where is the parking. Have never seem a place like that with zero parking.

I booked the apartment on the 1st floor with AirBnB. Location insanity. Apartment was great 20 years ago. Very large. 15 minutes by car into the city. Near well-stocked supermarket. Would come again.
