Nice place...As far as serving full meals, yikes, although the food was pleasant it was small portions that was served on napkins. Some of the staff was moody but hey...we had a good time.

The Food came out hot every time and was good, the hall is beautiful!! Convenient parking 🙄

Everything was perfect! The staff were very professional while serving delicious appetizers to everyone! They made you feel like you were welcome to be there and even with masks, you see smiles through their eyes. I dont know who made the gumbo but it was outstanding. All the appetizers that I tried were delicious and arranged to be very inviting to try. I especially loved the vegetable one. Cudos to the chef! I would recommend Magnolia Weddings and Events to anyone who had a special occasion. Even businesses would benefit from the wonderful treatment.Thank you!Ms. Susan Wallace

Event place was good. They just seemed like we were rushed, because they didnt plan out the wedding schedule good enough.

I attended a wedding on 4.25.21. Service was Great and the Food was Delicious. The Manger was professional and delightful. She was very much engaged with the wedding party. She did her job well

Attended the wedding of our Niece this past weekend, what a great place, the food was great and the staff was wonderful. They had never ending appetizers, Gumbo, Jambalaya, crab cakes. The venue was a perfect place for the wedding. We enjoyed it so much.

Beautiful venue. The food was okay I would give it 3 out of 5. Some things were great others were horrible. The wait staff kept going to the same people they did not share food with everyoneThat was disappointing but overall a great place for a wedding

As 2017 President of The Greater New Orleans Corvette Club I wanted to take time to report on another wonderful experience at Magnolia Plantation. The Club returned to this venue for our annual Christmas Party for the second year in a row and we were again impressed. The owners went out of their way to ensure we all had a wonderful time. The buffet offerings were excellent, and the pass around food was superb! We had both bars in operation and the bartenders didnt miss a step. The servers were attentive to a fault. The venue itself was decorated beautifully, and the music offered by the D.J. was spot on. We brought over 200 people both years and we would return again!

The ambiance was nice but I really didnt enjoy after the wedding walking back outside to go all the way around for the reception. Apparently we picked the wrong table all of the wait staff kept running out of food before coming to us. After 30mins we gave up and went to the hot food station and fed ourselves, then they made it to our table.

Food was not up to par. Seems like whoever did the cooking likes a certain spice, either thyme or sage, that in my opinion, did not belong in the dishes being served and overused. Servers picked up plates and drinks before they were finished. The facility is a nice place for a reception and I enjoyed everything else. I spent over 30 years as an Executive Flight Attendant, both in the USAF and in the Corporate world, having cooked and served, Presidents, Vice Presidents, of the United States, as well as many foreign Kings and Queens, CEOs and many others, so my expectations of food and service may be different than most people.

This place was so elegant. The staff was excellent. I went to my niece wedding on October 14th and it was a elegant and classy event. Will definitely suggest this venue.

My wedding was held here April 27th 2019 All I can say is OMG‼️Everything was perfect from the time my bridal party and guest arrived and from the time we left The staff is Amazing ‼️The food I was delicious I couldn’t have chosen a better venue 💯

My wifes nephew had his wedding reception here and the Magnolia Plantation is absolutely an exceptional place to get married at in the New Orleans area. Everything from the spacious room, the large dancing floor, the Fantastic food, and the wait staff, was well above many other places up into before.

Very clean and nice. Well equipped with a DJ booth and a full bar setup. Seems to have everything needed for a fun reception.

Food was good, music was typical, very nice venue. Consider having your employees stop passing apps after an hour/hour and a half, getting asked if you want food ever 5 minutes its a little annoying ;)
