This was a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are well kept and full of wonderful plants, great for pictures! The rooms are PHENOMENAL! Super Clean, a perfect amount of space, AC was 10/10 and kept the room ice cold (which I LOVE). The beds are so comfy and they had extra pillows and blankets tucked away in one of the cabinets which was superb! The location was perfect too! We didnt have an in issue getting parking in front of the B&B and there are tons of cute shops and cafes within walking distance. We only really had to get into the car to go to the garden district :)This will be our go to place to stay when we come to or through new orleans!! Thank you so much for having us!

I am so glad I came across the Lions Inn and decided to try it. It could not have been better! The rooms were neat and clean - each with its own character. The courtyard and pool are just beautiful! It was like our own little private paradise. Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance. Ed is the PERFECT host...there when you need him for something or sharing good information, but not hovering! He and Jackie went above and beyond to make our stay perfection! I just cant say enough good about our experience there and I cant wait to return!

Stayed here a week before Thanksgiving, totally enjoyed my stay. The location from the B&B was well within walking distance to the French Market and Jackson Square and all the shops and restaurants. My room like all rooms here was unique in décor, comfy and felt like home. The garden in back of the property was lush and lovely and added privacy and a sense of intimacy. After a long day of exploring the city, it was refreshing to take a dip in the pool and soak in the hot tub. I wish to thank Henry and Mr. Ed for their personal attention and efforts to make my stay a very enjoyable experience. Merci beaucoup à vous.

My boyfriend and I just got back from a 4 night stay at at the Lions Inn and our stay was nothing but great! I honestly don’t think the website does it justice! The rooms are cozy and have everything you could need including: free WiFi, a fridge, water cups, in unit air conditioning, hair drier, iron, hanging closet and dresser. We stayed in room B which is the room with the double bed that shares a bathroom with single room D. We didn’t have any issues with this and the bathroom remained clean. The maid service visits the rooms everyday if you wish with fresh towels and a clean. The Inn amenities are great. The outside pool area is so much lovelier than the photos. There is also a hot tub and pond and a lot of seating. Additionally, there is a complimentary breakfast every morning from 8am-10am which has everything you could want including bagel options, toast, assorted cereal and fruits, eggs, coffee, juices, etc. This was a great start to our day!Edward was so nice and happy to help! When our hair drier stopped working, he was up in literally under a minute with a new one.The location is wonderful. We walked everywhere. We were around the corner from restaurants and bars but the area is super quiet, and under a ten minute walk from Frenchman Street and the fun of the quarter. I would highly recommend staying at Lions Inn when visiting New Orleans!

Best lodging experience Ive ever had. The location is walkable to the French Quarter and the B&B itself was great. Nice, cozy home-like feeling and the owner, Ed, was so nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit.

My favorite place to stay in New Orleans. The pool in the back yard is a tropical oasis and the owner Ed always makes me and my friends feel right at home. Their entire staff is more than accommodating and always warm and kind to me. The guests are always friendly too. Beautiful clean rooms with a taste of old New Orleans style in the Marigny just minutes from Frenchman street and the Quarter, but just far enough for some tranquility. Highly recommended

This place is small and full of charm and absolutely amazing. We came here for our two year anniversary and they surprised us with a chilled bottle of champagne and chocolates. There was even a sign on our door wishing is a happy anniversary and towel in the shape of a heart and rose peddles on the bed. Its right by the French Quarter and within walking distance of Cafe du Monde. 6 out of five stars, would recommend. Also, they have a doggy.

I loved this place. The building and courtyard is so New Orleans and it was a pleasure to walk up the street in the evening to go back to the B&B. Ed is very discreet but very welcoming. Good value for money too.

Amazing experience!!!!! Doug the manager was extremely friendly and accommodating! The room was very clean, quiet, and lovely. The backyard was a mini paradise of a fish pond, jacuzzi, and a perfectly heated pool. The free bike rental saved my boyfriend and I a lot of money as the rates around the area in the bike shops were ~$20/day. The complimentary breakfast really helped fill us up and get ready for the day! The complimentary wine and cheese hour was relaxing and enjoyable due to us being able to get to know some of the guests a bit more. With this B&B you get a lot of bang for your buck and I felt like my money did not go to waste at all! Everything was perfect and I would come back again and again I just wished that I could stay longer!

Nice location conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and bars and music. We stayed in the Honeymoon cottage which was clean and comfortable and has its own private pool. Providing coffee for the coffee maker and a couple of robes (and maybe a small bottle of champagne or small box of chocolates) would make it a 5 star experience. This is New Orleans after all... A little lagniappe is almost expected!

This is a very quiet and quaint bnb in a great residential neighborhood. If you are looking for a nice home away from home while visiting New Orleans, I highly recommend Lions Inn. We decided to stay in the Marigny on our last trip to Nola and I am so glad that we did, and that we picked the Lions Inn. We were delighted in our charming room, the quiet little neighborhood, and the relaxing and peaceful courtyard oasis with a pool and hot tub in the back. Would DEFINITELY stay here again when in New Orleans!

Great little spot to spend the weekend. We stayed 4 nights Thursday - Sunday. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The continental breakfast was standard but nice to have.Friendly staff and cute dog. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms which was comfortable to sleep in but wouldnt be a great place to spend the whole day. The patio and back yard are available all day though. One thing to be warned about is the room directly next to the hot tub may hear some noise from people in the back so if you turn in super early that might not be the room for you if youre coming at a busy time.

Good price to value, great garden with nice swimming pool and above all, excellent location. Chartres street is the extension of the famous Bourbon street, but a much better place to enjoy music, outgoing and has even an art market - all around the corner. French market is at walking distance and once passed that, you bump almost into Cafe du Monde, whats probably the best place to have a cafe au lait and a set of bagles. The room I had was probably the smallest, but it was clean and the airco working properly.

Elegant B&B with clean, austere rooms and a low-key continental breakfast every morning. Garden in rear is a pleasant setting for eating and relaxing. The location is great and the neighborhood feels safe ; Marigny is close enough to the FQ and Frenchman street (which is a little funkier and local-feeling), but also faraway enough that it is quiet at night -- we never heard any racous crowds or had any disturbances.Owner is polite and very responsive; got separated from my roommate one evening and returned sometime around 2am with no key. Called the main number and he showed up and gave me an extra one, no fuss whatsoever. We stayed here six nights and felt we got an optimal experience of the city by virtue of this place with its classic vibe. I would stay here again most definitely and recommend it to anyone wishing to visit NOLA.

These guys are snakes! Be careful, Ed and Floyd have really changed. We used to love this place. We always felt special here, we loved the authenticity. We have sort of been out of the loop with a pregnancy and 6mo baby but decided we wanted to take a trip to New Orleans. After three different tries at scheduling a night there and having them sell it to someone else at the last second. I have had it with Ed, his condescending attitude and corrupt business practices. If you must stay here, DONT USE A CREDIT CARD!!!!!!! Pay them with cash and bring your own pillow and sheets!!
