I can both recommend this place and give a little word of warning. First off, love the staff (at least the staff I met). I have gone here on two seperate occasions, seperated by a three year stint of no therapy or meds or anything. My only complaint, which is mostly my fault really, is that I feel as though the staff does not actually fully understand the implications of working with the people theyre working with. I was 5-6 minutes late for a video appointment and by the time I joined it had been ended. I was making dinner. I still got the fifty dollar bill (let that get sent to collections, if you cut the call that fast you obviously dont care about me and dont deserve the money). Again, the employees and such are nice, but I dont think they get who theyre working with and how to handle it sometimes.

Horrible provider (Audrey) Did not any send in prescription that she said she would. It was my first appointment with her. I called the office literally 10 times and nothing is being done. Do not go here, or at least do not see Audrey. She does not care about her patients and won’t prescribe the medication she said she will. It Director knows about it. And did nothing. Nobody is doing anything. but of course they sent me a $450 bill for seeing Audrey even though she did nothing. This place is horrible and grossly incompetent. Do not go here.

I have *no* idea how this place could get a bad review. First, Savannah is no longer there. Ididnt care for her either, to be honest. Second, yes, you usually have to wait a little bit for Dr. Williamson, but claiming he doesnt care about his patients is ludicrous. Did anyone stop to think that you might have to wait because he actually does care about his patients and wants to give him the time they need? There have been times Ive been in his office for 5 minutes, and times where its been like 20-30. And what doctor is ever on time for appointments? Ive needed multiple med changes for reasons having to do with me personally. Here is ALWAYS careful and puts a lot of thought into what he prescribes me. Third, the staff is amazing. They are kind and compassionate. Theyve gone above and beyond to help me out with quite a few things. Fourth, they do have a dedicated billing person now.Im literally thankful for this place, and Dr. Williamson, and in no way should it be avoided.

If you truly need help - avoid this place. With every appointment there were complications. I would wait hours in the waiting room just to see a pretentious, careless doctor who called me by the wrong name multiple times and could not remember simple details such as my job. Seeing him only made me worse. Williamson does not care about you. He sees you as a paycheck and not a person. I am solely looking out for those who desperately need help - please do not waste your time, energy, or money.

These people writing bad reviews must just have bad attitudes. I see DR. Semone West and she has always been good to me. Sure sometimes a small DR office will move slower, but Dr West has always put full effort into treating my anxiety and ADHD. It is worth the short wait in the waiting room. I appreciate this psychiatrist for always having worked with me.-Kyle K

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You will leave needing to be diagnosed with heightened anxiety and will be beyond frustrated. The office staff, specifically Savannah, are incredibly rude and unsuitable for a customer-facing-role at a Behavioral Clinic. The frequent smirks she flashed, the rude manner in which she decides when she wants to put you on speakerphone in an attempt to embarrass you all showcase her immaturity and unreadiness for a professional job. Its a shame she takes her anger and contempt for being in the office out on patients already riddled with issues that are actually seeking help. Although it was a good attempt, it only confirmed what I had already felt. Spectrum Behavioral Health is likely not the organization for you if you are looking for nothing more than a polite staff. Dont believe me? Feel Im exaggerating? Just feel free to look at all the other reviews on Google where they cant remove them....Context: I went to 1 appointment in the morning, and by 5:30PM, I had called in and cancelled my next visit for the following week and already secured a new doctor. It. was. THAT. bad.

Dr. Padens bed side manners are awful. I switched to a different doctor and have see him once. WOW, what a difference. The review below mine regarding the employee, Savannah, is exactly what I experienced too.

I went here for a few months. I was always on time but ALWAYS had to wait at least 30 minutes. Once, I waited a little over an hour and almost missed work because they were so behind. Its different if its once and a while. I understand if things get a little backed up but every time is ridiculous and for it to be that much time I waited in an empty office. Then, theres the fact that they waited 2 1/2 months AFTER I STOPPED GOING HERE to tell me my insurance didnt cover them and I owed them all the money for each visit. Any other place Ive been to has told me when Im making the appointment if Im covered. Every time I made a bew appointment in person, they bever ince said to me owed them for the visits or that I wasnt being covered. Obviously, I have some mental health issues going to a psychiatrist, and they were so rude and threatening to me when they first called me asking for money. There is a way to deal with everything and threatening someone who is suffering from extreme anxiety and depression is the worst way to go about it. Never go to these guys. They are awful and unprofessional. They dont actually know how to deal with the mentally ill and being a psychiatric facility, should have dealt with my situation completely different. If I could give negitive stars, I would.

I have been going here and seeing Dr. Johnny Williamson for a year now. The office staff is friendly and Dr. Williamson takes his time to listen and understand his patients.

Very frustrating practice with so many problems that it seems like I am having more problems by going there than getting the help I need from them. Billing is awful; they will tell you that you paid but keep on sending you bills. I saw online that they have a job opening for a medical biller at this site in new lenox, so I dont think they even have anyone really doing their billing at the moment. They told me I was rude and that it wasnt their job to do billing. Overall--they need to find a medical biller or just do the billing. Seems like they just want your money but wont fix any of your problems with their system! ironic for a mental health facility where you feel like they dont care AT ALL how you feel.

AWFUL... Cant get in touch with anyone to fill my prescriptions. Dr. is in once a month and then cancelled on me after taking time off from work. Got a bill that I paid 2 months ago and no one has record of. Awful awful business!!
