The people here are very friendly, but what I appreciated most is that my nail tech took her time with my pedicure and she did an excellent job. At most places, they rush to get you out in 20-25 minutes, they do a sloppy job, and its not very relaxing. They had 4 (I believe) different types of pedis. I dont remember all of the prices, but I remember their spa pedi is $30 and comes with a scrub and hot towel as does the milk and honey pedi for $40 which is the one I chose. I would stick with the $30 pedi though. It has most of the bells and whistles of the milk and honey; and the milk and honey play a minor role in the pedi.

Best mail shop I have found in town, my nails last a long time without breaking . My recent tie die set . They glow in a black light .

I arrived on time for my 2:30 appointment. While I was waiting the 3:00 appointment came in and got immediate service. I waited until 3:10 before I left. As a first time customer I found this to be very unprofessional and did not have an extra 40 minutes to spare on top of getting a full set and pedicure done. Would not recommend

This place is awesome! Very nice and welcoming people! They always call you by name, which makes you feel like a friend rather than a customer. I did the Milk and Honey pedicure and it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had.When I sat down with Rachel to do my nails I asked her to do something cute and she did not disappoint. Get my toes done here occasionally. Came in to get nails fixed after not liking them from a different salon. Fixed them to my liking no problem and was super friendly & nice! Would recommend.

Had such a great experience getting my nails done by Rachel. I got a gel manicure and she made sure multiple times I was happy with everything during the process. Rachel took extra time to perfect my nails and give me a great experience. She lengthened my natural nails with gel, my first time getting any manicure done more than just polish. Rachel and the rest of the staff were excellent and the salon was clean and bright. I’ve definitely found my nail salon and it’s so worth any extra travel time.

I have gotten my nails done all over the world and this is the best place Ive ever been to. Rachel, Nam, and the rest of the staff are incredible! I have been a regular with them over the course of the last 2 years and have had my nails done many, many times- pedi, facial waxing, and lashes too. Ill never find another place as good and Ill miss them immeasurably.

Service is amazing! Everyone is so nice, and patient (I can never pick a color)I got there at opening right at 10am, and there was a line.I got my old powder dip taken off (red) and got a new powder dip set (white tip) and was out before 11:30am.

I have been going to see Rachel and Nam for a few years and I love them and their business. I have also seen Hannah for my pedicure and it’s the best pedicure I have had in a while. I am not seeing Xuxu for my dip nails and she is amazing. Rachel and Nam run a great small vu and really appreciate their customers. I will never go anywhere else.

Okay so this place did a great job! Small shop they were plenty of busy but they do everything in there power to make sure that your taken care of! I got the Volcano Pedicure from Steve ! It was fantastic I miss the paraffin wax they dont do that here but little things not to be burden with the hot towel wrap worked great! They were pretty busy but theyll sit you as soon as they can. Didnt have a problem with this place at all. Very friendly people there! They are funny and fun to talk to! The customer service is great! This was my first time but you could tell who was a regular as soon as they walked in! Steve did a fantastic job on my pedi a massage was awesome! Thanks guys !! I love getting my nails done from time to time, it’s so therapeutic for me..The times that I do go in, they are all really nice, they do a perfect job on my nails every time that I do go in. They have a great customer service! And the music they play is on point. I love their music. I love that they have HGTV showing on the tv. They offer you beverages at your convenience. I don’t get my nails done a lot but when I do I choose them. And if you get a chance ask for Rachel, she is the owner and she is fabulous!

Do NOT go to this place. They’re overpriced and do a horrible job. My service was not done how I asked, even after multiple times of telling them. I called for a refund, which was denied by the manager who was very unprofessional and rude

I’m extremely picky and out of all the reviews this salon seemed to have the best. I called and they got me in right away with a appointment. My hands needed a fill and she did a awesome job. However the girl doing my pedicure I must give a lot of credit too! It literally was the BEST pedicure I’ve ever had. She paid close attention to detail and my nails look perfect! Her name was Nelda. I’ve been very stressed since I’ve been here and felt very relaxed afterwards. Glad I found y’all! My only regret is you’re 1500 miles from my house.PS... I had my nails dipped and 2 days later I had 5 broken nails on the corner. I attempted to get them fixed but they are closed on Sunday. I live out of town and they refused to give me a refund.

I wanted Medium coffin nails and got square. Color wasn’t as expected. Ombre was uneven and the gradient changed with each nail causing them not to match. My nails are puffy, too short and the apex is nonexistent. I had a photo and I asked for the exact design I came in with, instead she just gave me a design on my ring finger, before I realized, it was too late. There are so many options around here, just go somewhere else! If you can’t get an apt with Rachel...

I am very picky about where I get my nails done, and this place was amazing! I live in San Marcos and have been trying to find a good place to get my nails done and I think I found it! We were greeted cheerfully and signed in. Plenty of dip powder and shellac colors to look through! I usually hate getting dip powder, but I got it this time because my nails keep breaking. The process was so much better than past experiences, and my nails aren’t bulky at all! I wanted two colors, and they did it no problem! We got two spa pedicures ($30 each) and dip powder ($40 and my nails are long) and it came to $100, which I think is pretty good! I will DEFINITELY be back!

Rachel is the VERY BEST! I have been getting my nails done for 25+ years and have lived all over the country. She is the most talented nail artist I have ever been to. Her funny, outgoing personality is icing on the cake. I moved out of the New Braunfels area and now drive almost an hour to come see her and get my nails done. It is so worth it!!!

Yesterday was my first time going to this nail salon and ill definitely return. I loved how my nails came out. No one has ever put love into my nails like rachel did. (I think that was her name) She was also very funny and made me feel right at home.

They were on top of their hosting, I was seen immediately with no wait, however I requested shellac and my past shellac color still remains on my nails, the technician didn’t file my nails evenly and I have to adjust my nails at home. One nail was filed so far Over it will not have to grow out to be sculpted to match the other nails.They were nice but the technicians need more experience and need to communicate more.

Went in two days ago and I got a pedicure and “refill” although no fill was done. Instead my acrylic was filled down extremely thin. Day two, and my nails are already breaking. Paid 70.00 for approximately two days of use out of my nails. Not impressed.

My nails and toes were rushed. Steps were skipped for my pedicure. Charged extra for the shape I wanted on my nail just for them to look uneven and slanted more on either or side if it was done righting dont mind paying extra. The lady stepped on my toes when I was getting my nails done and didnt fix it. The younger lady in the front was very nice but the one that did my nails looked like she didnt even wanna be there. The place is beautiful and offers 1 drink which is nice 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I wouldnt go here again or at least the same lady I went to lady time.

Horrible service. As the nail tech was doing my nails another nail tech was being very offensive towards me and made remarks about my characteristics. Not great customer service at all. Mind you not a single word did I say to the nail tech that was being discriminating towards me. I just moved to New Braunfels and dont know anyone here, so there is no reason on why the nail tech was acting that way.

This place is amazing! I bring my sister and friends here twice a month and Splash of Rouge never fails to impress us. The building is always clean and consumer friendly. The staff is very kind and love to make your day a great one. Definitely a 5 Star establishment. They are organized and friendly, what more could you want from a nail salon?

Got a pedicure, shellac manicure and eyebrows done on Wednesday night and the shellac was chipping Friday! Came in Saturday afternoon to get it fixed and waited an hour to have the fix two nails. No compensation for the chipped nails was offered, or even a discount. I really liked my pedicure, but issues with the manicure will make me doubt coming back. I’m a local and this was my first visit. Not a great impression so far. I get they are busy on a Saturday, but they should’ve taken care of my chipped nails in a faster manner or asked if I had an hour to spare. A warning up front would be nice. The people running it are decent, but I’ve had better experiences elsewhere. Don’t know if I will be back. We will se how long this manicure lasts.

The reason I give it two starts is because I have come to this salon three times. The first two times, Nam worked on my toes and someone else worked on my gel manicure. Loved it both times! They were detail oriented and so friendly! I even started recommending this place to so many of my friends, family, and co-workers. The last time I went, I had an appointment at 4:15. I wasnt seen until 5:00. At no point did they come and say to me we apologize for the wait or someone will be right with you. When I finally got someone, the gentleman was not too friendly but I figured he was just tired from working on so many people. I was leaving and a woman was at the register telling the front desk girl that she had an appointment. They asked her to come back the next day. The girl had already taken off her polish to anticipate the work they would be doing that day. I felt so bad for her.After a week, my gel manicure started to come off. I couldnt wash my hair without the underside getting stuck in my hair. I was very disappointed with the work that happened this time around and am considering not returning. After waiting almost an hour for mediocre work, it isnt worth it. If a shop is going to make appointments, they should keep people on hand to do appointments and not take in every single walk in. Respect our time as clients.

My first time here today and I love this place. My nails were exactly what I asked for and turned out better than I imagined. The pedicure was the best I have had in 20 yrs. They take their time and are not rushed. They are constantly checking to see if you are ok and getting great service. The massage was amazing. They were both not only friendly but funny and playful. This will be my new spot.

I never write reviews, but I do glance at ratings/reviews before I go somewhere new for a service. And, because Rachel is so amazing, I feel compelled to contribute to her salon’s excellent rating. She is very meticulous, yet efficient, and hilarious to top it off. I don’t live in NB, but every time that I am in town, and in need of a dip, I go in to see her. Wish I had a Rachel where I live! If I could give a negative review I would. I questioned how much the ombré dip was (based on how much my sister had paid) and was told mid manicure they could not continue to do my nails that day. I had to leave with a coat of powder on my nails and go somewhere else to have them finish.I am a very calm, patient person so this has literally never happened. The fact that a paying customer had to leave mid service is astounding.

Worst set of gels I have ever received. The Polish by the second day had already started to bubble.The nails were layered so thick in felt like my fingers were wrapped in tape.The whole point of gels is they are thinner and more flexible then acrilics. These made my fingers feel totally useless.They left the nails too long. After the second time I asked him to filed them shorter i just gave up because he was cutting my skin with the file.They did nothing to shape my cuticals and they didnt fill the whole nail. I needed a fill by the time I walked out the door.

Rachel and Tony were excellent!!! My daughter and I went in for dips, and both know we will be regulars! All staff was kind, had conversations with us. Place is clean, and away from all the hustle of the bigger shops. We are now 2 of their newest regulars! - Jennifer & Kellie

So I decided to write this after I had my nails done once and went back for a refill. I tried all the nail places in Cibolo and just never left feeling satisfied with the job that was done so I ventured to New Braunfels due to the recommendations from a local group. My first appointment was great! Rachel understood exactly what I wanted, she was professional and funny and did an outstanding job. It was so good that 25 days later my nails still look good although they had grown out they weren’t lifting and they didn’t hurt. I’m almost positive I could’ve gone one more week to make it a month without having anything happening to them. I went again yesterday and although Rachel did not do my nails and I didn’t catch the guys name he too did a really good job. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and got exactly that. Also he seem to be a bit of a perfectionist kept looking my nails over again and if he was not satisfied he would keep working on them which I appreciated. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and nice. I would just recommend that if you want to get seen that you make a reservation ahead of time but even if you have to wait, to me it’s still worth it for the quality of work you get. I have finally found my nail salon!

Found this amazing place on Facebook, and have been coming ever since my first visit. My nails come out beautiful and the service is exceptional. It’s a hidden gem, but I hope more people are able to try it out.

Based on other reviews I was expecting better service. They’re not friendly at all. The nail tech was more interested in his phone than his clients; he rushed through and didn’t inspect his work. We had to go back because there was fuzz trapped in the polish. Also, the prices on their menus were lower than what I paid; the owner said they were old prices. Won’t be back....and NO, no one sat down and spoke with us about my daughter’s nails.

I been meaning to make this review for a long time ! I really loved them at first ! Than my friend who likes her nails done properly was not happy with them when she got done and asked to fix her toes before she left. They did at least do that but before she left they told her nothing we do here is good enough for you so please don’t come back ! She was never nasty or rude just asked politely . I was in shock ! That day i asked for a design that they agreed they can do but it looked like a child did it so I said just take it off and it’s ok I’m fine without it ! Meanwhile my shellac did look good so I was ok with it ! So I decided to try them one more time and they knew Who I was! The owner and his wife saw me walk in and said nothing ! There was another man who greeted me and he took me back to do my shellac! No one said one word to me the whole time I got services and other people came in and they did acknowledge them and asked them for a drink and etc! My nails looked horrible that was the first time and I felt like he did that on purpose! In a nut shell the owners are very cocky and I don’t know why! Me being born and raised here in New Braunfels have never seen a nail salon treat someone like that! Get some southern hospitality! And newsflash there going to be people who do not like there services and that’s life! But it’s your job to make it right cause we don’t owe you nothing ! We are paying customers we don’t get services for free! Great customer service is making things right! No one is perfect but if you had class you would not talk to people like that! Stop acting like you are the best nail salon In new Braunfels and treat people with respect! I would go to a salon over and over even if it was not perfect but they are courteous !

Yeah, I’m not recommending this place at all. I’m visiting from Georgia and called to see if they took walkins because I needed my eyebrows done and I was told yes by a man that I could come in at any time. So tell me why when I walk in NOT EVEN 15 MINUTES LATER I’m told by the lady that she doesn’t have time for me because her hands are full right now?... when the place is EMPTY. It takes all of 10 minutes at the most to wax eyebrows. Highly UPSET. I definitely will not be coming back here ever again, visiting or not.
