I have to give a special shout out to Carly Berg! (Keep in mind shes hidden in the back but shes very good)!!! Believe me; Im hard to please and hardly ever write reviews!!! Every time I visit Carly for a haircut she is spot on and has an incredible vision to shape my hair with only scissors, just the way I like it. Not only is she talented cutting hair but she also makes for great conversation! At times I forget weve only met three times and it genuinely feels like were childhood friends just catching up on where we left off! lol The last go around she trimmed by beard at no extra charge. Thanks CarlyIm happy to find such a gem of place with the feel of small town people in a big town! This place never disappoints!

After growing my beard for 4 months without shaving, I decided to go and get it lined up and shaped. What actually happened was my beard was completely butchered. 4 months of growth in the garbage and my beard was massacred. I am fuming mad after what just happened. Go elsewhere for your beard trims, unless you want them to destroy it.

This is a great barber shop that my teenage son and I have been going to for over a year now. You will find good service at a competitive price.We found this place after being fed up with all the trendy barber shops in town, that target the disenfranchised youth of the area.So, if you’re not looking to get your baby mama’s initials or a racetrack carved into your scalp, this is a great place to check out.

In the area following up on a construction project I’m providing oversight on and was in dire need of a hair cut. Stopped and called about 5 hair salons all were booked before I stumbled across this place. Having worn my hair short a majority of my life on account a hard hat is part of my daily attire, barbershops aren’t foreign to me. On occasion (specifically three digit weather) I am not opposed to just having clippers run against my head for a close fade. Long story short, my experience here was the typical scene out of the show “What would you do?” I walked in and just like in that photo from another reviewer, the male barber was sitting unoccupied and rudely tells me he only works on men. Listen before you go off on an evangelical rant, to each their own. I wasn’t here for a hair style or to raise any controversial opinions, I was here for simple hygiene. It was a hot day and I could not stand my hair! I had a seat when one of the female barbers said she didn’t mind but truth be told that backwards barn yard fool was staring so hard at me I felt uncomfortable. I’m not one to shy away from confrontation but I’m here on business and was in between meetings. Ultimately I walked out to take a phone call because the minute I raised my phone he decides that’s the most ideal time to break his stare from me and engage in a conversation with another waiting patron. I couldn’t tell if he was deliberately trying to be rude or he was just that old and hard of hearing that he had to speak at a volume that required me to step out to hear my caller. So disappointed, but not surprised this is your typical stereotypical experience. I didn’t see the purpose in returning inside, I preferred to finish my business in the area and return to San Antonio and just get my hair cut at my regular spot. Nice ambiance but nothing to get too excited over unless you don’t get out much. I’ve visited barbershops with a similar theme and better customer service.

Best haircut Ive ever had! The barbers are professional and consistent! I get someone different about every time I go, but the quality is excellent every time. As someone who grew up with my mother owning a hair salon I have a high standard of a good haircut, and this establishment meets those expectations every time!

I have gotten my hair cut here for about two years now. The atmosphere here is awesome and extremely professional. They are a live period piece, drawing their inspiration from an older style of barber shop. I get a number 2 on the sides with scissors on top and they nail it perfectly every time. They are consistent and they do it right. If I only I didnt live so far away, because I need a haircut badly, and I cant bring myself to go anywhere else.

A great place for a man or boy to get a haircut. 1940s decor, white shirts with black vests. But warning, AVOID the last in the first chair. I made that mistake. Enough said.

The barbers I have used seem to cut your hair the way that they want and ignore what you tell them. I am bald on top a could not get them to let it grow long on the sides and taper to the ears. Yesterday was the last straw, I asked for a little trim on my mustache and she cut half of it off!!!! I am still mad about it. Never Never Ever would I walk in those doors again

Ive been going here for about 6 months. These guys are the best in the biz, and treat you right every time. Even though I moved to Wimberley, I still drive to NB to get my hair cut here. Sometimes there is a wait, but its worth it.
