I have lived here since March and love being here. I have a beautiful view of the river, a nice walking path and access to the pool, fitness center & bbq grills. This is a dog friendly environment and a peaceful place to live. The other residents are friendly too. It is refreshing to take a dip in the river and to watch people on kayaks float by. Maintenance is very attentive and nice.

Moving states is never easy but Westshore Colony has made it easy. The apartment is spacious and well price. The view is lovely being next to the river. The staff are friendly and helpful. The accessibility to stores and restaurants couldnt be better.

Beautiful views, wonderful sense of community, and amazing front office team. We have been living here almost a year and still cant believe how perfect this place is! We love waking up and seeing the river right outside our window. It is clean and well kept, and everyone we have met seems to be just as in love with this place as we are. The best!

I have lived at Westshore Colony for almost 6 years. Gorgeous grounds with excellent amenities-- direct access to Lake Dunlap, nice pool, basketball court, and sand volleyball pit. Most importantly--the office staff is friendly and responsive to any concerns and the maintenence crew led by Chris will be at your apartment the same day or next at the latest. The staff hold a lot of different activities from family friendly to adult only cocktail hours. You will feel at home.

Katie and the rest of the Ladies in the office are amazing!! They go out of their way to help in any way, they plan awesome community events, and are so very nice! The property is beautiful, and I am completely in love with my gorgeous apartment ❤. Maintenance is 100% on point and the amenities are perfect! Love Westshore Colony!!

I have lived at Westshore Colony Apts. for about 2 years now and love it!!! The office staff and maintenance crew are great, only had 2 issues since I have been there and were immediately addressed. The dog park, river, swimming pool and gym make it feel like a resort. Keep up the good work.

I’ve lived here for just about 2 months and so far we’re loving it! The office staff is extremely helpful, Katie is super knowledgeable and very friendly to work with. Grounds are clean and maintained and unit maintenance so far has been quick and accurate.

We are on our third year living here now and love it! Katie in the office is outstanding. Today we had our kitchen light go out and Chris was here within 30 minutes and got it fixed in no time. This has become our little slice of heaven in our beautiful town!!

West Shore Colony is the best! Ive lived in apartments all over the country. From Missouri to Arkansas to Texas and this place is head and shoulders above them all. Its not just the amenities and the awesome river view that make this place incredible. The staff is AMAZING! Katie and Devin in the office always take care of us and answer any questions we have and I can tell you from experience they make you feel so welcome when you walk through those doors! The property manager Erika is is great! Shes always putting together different parties and events for the residents which really makes it feel like our own little community. On top of that we have the best maintenance staff! Chris and David go above and beyond keeping this place going. Whether its keeping the grounds clean or handling any maintenance request they may get. All in all this is a great place to call home and we owe it all to the amazing staff!

I’ll admit I wasn’t initially thrilled to be moving in to another apartment complex. When buying a house didn’t work out for me and I ran out of time, I reluctantly went in search for another apartment. I have to say, I love it more here every day! I’m questioning if I did really want a house to begin with. Wide open, well maintained outdoor spaces. Giant patios. Spacious floor plans. Extremely kind and engaging front office staff. I’m so happy things worked out how they did.

My family has called Westshore colony home going on 4 years. We couldnt be any more happier here! It truly feels like we are where we belong. The office staff is amazing and they really care about their residents. Maintenance is spot on, and really takes care of us here at westshore! I love living here. The river is in my backyard and we have a private park to enjoy. It’s so convenient because after a long day I have the option to be out on the river. Maintenance is super nice and quick to fix anything in my apartment— they are also my neighbor. 😊 Overall everyone is really friendly in this complex.

My family and I loved living here. It was awesome to be able to fish at the river every day. We had an amazing view from our apartment we were able to chill and relax. The office staff is awesome, Devin always helped us out when we needed something. I wouldn’t have lived anywhere else while our home was being built.

I have lived in many apartments before, but this is the first time I decided to actually right a review on one. I’ve always lived and work in San Antonio, but the long drive back and forth for this apartment it’s worth it! The staff up front is the nicest I’ve ever dealt with, and the amenities are amazing. It’s right on the river, and it’s so blue and breath taking. Me and my girlfriend will be staying here for along time!

What makes Westshore Colony a great place to live is the small community feel with so many friendly residence. Sit by the pool or river, take a walk along the trails, enjoy watching people mingle at the dog park. Tell the office you need something fixed and they are on it ASAP. The office, maintenance, and grounds staff are friendly and professional. One of the things I wanted was a good size bathroom and I got it here. This is the perfect place for me.

I am extremely happy with the decision we made to reside at Westshore Colony Apartments. They are conveniently located with great access to the river, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and services.The administrative staff were very polite and courteous and continue to show great care about the comfort and satisfaction of the residents. Complaints and service calls are handled in a timely manner with follow up inquiries to ensure compliance to residents.The maintenance crew ensures the cleanliness and safety of the Westshore Colony Apartments. I see them working hard throughout the day.The amenities are a plus. The gyms equipment and walking path are more than enough to keep me fit. The gym is cleaned twice a day. The river access allows for fishing, floating and kayaking. The pool and BBQ area allow for small gatherings. The dog park has limited access due to damages caused by wind storms. Safety precautions have been taken and are highly visible.The Westshore Apartment policies take extra precautions due to covid, nevertheless, they have a pleasant atmosphere and very attentive service.

Dont work there or your car will get towed away.

I’ve only lived here for a few months but I love it! The views are beautiful, the staff is friendly and maintenance is incredibly fast. Most minor issues can be solved same day! The apartments are well kept and spacious. Looking forward to utilizing the amenities (which they do awesome keeping the amenities in regulation with Covid) definitely would recommend!

Its been a pleasurable experience living in an apartment in this town having river access. My husband and I are very happy and know we couldnt find a better deal! We are enjoying a bit of retirement living without the headache of home ownership living. We absolutely love it!!

The entire staff, Erika, Devin and Katy are extremely professional anytime I interact with them. The apartments are some of the nicest ones I’ve seen in the area. They are updated and modernized inside. Being close to the river is a huge bonus because you can catch fish, grill on the beach area, paddle board and enjoy the scenery all in your backyard. Highly recommend checking these out.

Ive been living here at Westshore for 3 years and just renewed my lease for another year. Life here on the river has been amazing, I love having such easy access to the water and amazing views. This complex is very dog friendly, the staff have been very responsive, and management often throws events for tenants. They do a good job of keeping the grounds clean, and I feel very safe living here. I highly recommend Westshore!

This is the best place in New Braunfels. The management staff is the BEST Ive ever met. They make us all feel at home. The property is beautiful and clean. The view is breathe taking.

I have lived at Westshore Colony now for a few months a year before and what I love about this place is that we basically have a park for our selfs with an amazing view to the river, Yup we have a view to the river and I just truly enjoy taking my walks and getting to see nature during this quarantine.And we also have so much to do here the quarantine was better known I could still go to the gym, play volleyball or basketball at my own apartment colony well because that’s a part of what Westshore Offers along with a dog park that is open all the time.Now I don’t wanna move anymore I hope I stay here for years to come 😀.

I absolutely love this place! The apartments are well built (you cant hear through the walls). The grounds are beautiful, and they are well managed. I appreciate that the office is open 7 days a week.

We love living at Westshore! Weve been here for almost a year and we just renewed our lease for 2020/2021!! Right by the river, plenty of space it doesnt even feel like we live in an apartment! From the office staff to the residents living here everyone is awesome!

Very friendly and helpful staff in the leasing office. Love the convenient location on 35 easy access to groceries and good restaurants. River access is a huge plus as well as some nice fitness, laundry, and pool amenities. Unit is nice, easy to make your own with plenty of porch space for sitting and looking out on the river.

This is a really good place to live. It is centrally located and has everything You need within a few miles! They have a large area for dogs to play. They respond to your maintenance requests rapidly. It’s a really well run facility!

These apartments were referred to me. They are in a wonderful setting right next to the river. The apartments are spacious and well maintained. The staff member who gave me the tour, Katie, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. These are definitely at the top of my list!

I went with this property for the price and it felt like it. This is an old property and theyre slow to update. Loud neighbors and if you didnt get parked by 6pm, you would have to park outside the gated complex. Definitely not worth the price. Just the worst, compared to the newer properties in town, well worth paying the relet fee.

This is the only apartment I’ve lived in for more than a year. The front office is friendly and always on top of anything that’s need. The grounds are like a private park and well maintained.

I love it here. Ive been here almost two years and most likely will renew for a third year. The staff is always kind and attentive to any problems. And our neighbors are all very nice and respectful....we look out after each other. Erika is wonderful as well as the rest of the staff and the guys that keep our apartments in tip top shape. (Chris and Dave...thank you!) I really cant think of a con to living here. There are two entrances and exits, so its easy to avoid traffic. The grounds are always being taken care of and they pressure wash the common areas several times a year. The pool is family friendly, however we have neighbors of all ages. Its very homey here. I hope to stay here for a long time.

I love it here at westshore the view is great and me and my grand kids love fishing whenever we like to. The office staff is great and all the residents here are real friendly.

I LOVE WESTSHORE COLONY! With private access to the river and so many amenities on site, there is always something fun to do without having to leave home!! Everyone that I have encountered with that lives here are super friendly! I love that they have a huge dog park to take my dog to. He is very energetic and its great he is able to run freely in such a large space! The maintenance staff is awesome. Any time I need something fixed, even a light bulb change, they are there the same day to take care of it. The office staff is wonderful too! They throw some pretty fun resident events! I highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment to check out Westshore Colony!

We are happy we made westshore our home.

Great experience! Holly was working in the office when I came to view the apartment and property for the first time and her professionalism and kindness has continued since. Maintenence requests I have had so far have been minor, but theyve never been put on the back burner, and instead have been responded to quickly and efficiently completed. The grounds are park like and are well maintained. Parking at any hour has been no problem. Ive also found the other residents to be pleasant. So super happy with this choice.

Hands down the best apartment complex we’ve ever lived in! We were afraid of going back to apartment living and had only planned on being here temporarily, but now we don’t ever want to leave! Very active, involved and attentive staff, awesome community, beautiful grounds and easiest living we could ask for in an apartment.

We have lived here close to a year now and have really loved it. Management and maintenance know how to maintain it nice and attend to a concern as quickly as possible. Their friendly and always welcoming. It’s a great community to live in as your backyard will be a lake (so relaxing), volleyball, basketball court, they provide (3) bar-b-que areas, and a large dog park. Another big perk is that they are gated which makes me feel safe considering we’re right off IH-35. The community is friendly as well as I have left my keys twice in the parking lot and were turned in to the front desk. I also love how they have fun activities for the residents and parties during the summer and holidays.

To many broken cars 🚗 on the street looks ghetto

Wish I could give a zero. Management is the absolute worse. I had to call their corporate office to get the office Staff to even call me back about information on my lease. My upstairs neighbor’s water heater busted and flooded my apt. About 60% of the sheet rock in the living room ceiling fell down because of the water. It took them over two weeks and multiple calls to get them to fix it. They did not offer any rebate for rent (as I paid for a finished, functional apt), a hotel to stay in while repairs were done, and then sent me to collections for damages “caused by me” from this situation. Management claimed to not have any record of any repairs in my apt and said they didn’t even have my lease file (which is against regulations not to hold tenant info for 3 years on site). This place seemed nice to move in to but the management is running it in to the ground. Get your money’s value out of an apartment somewhere else. Erica and her minion of an assistant are nothing but rude and condescending.

You know all of those new apartments they are building in New Braunfels that are over priced and jammed packed? Westshore Colony is not one of them and I couldn’t be happier with the property. Spacious apartment living, beautiful landscape, A+ staff and great pricing!

We had many problems with this complex, specifically with the management. In the first year, we had a shower bar replaced crooked, which we were told was good enough. Then we had several air conditioning issues throughout the summer, which were simply fixed by finding short term solutions to a long term problem. Management did not seem to be interested in getting it fixed because it would cost money. They also like to close the pool conveniently on days that would be perfect for going outside and hanging out at the pool. The weight room is poorly taken care of, and there are very few things that are worth while there. Overall, the apartment itself was very spacious, but the poor management of this facility massively overshadowed this.

View is nice. Access to the river is great. Problem is the manager. Shes unprofessional. Seems like Im bothering her when I have to talk to her about fixing a light or something minor. Light still out. Been 3 days. Nathan is awesome though. Very helpful. Parking is also a big issue here. Not enough spots. You get here late and youll be lucky if you can park inside the complex.

Great complex on lake Dunlap. Tons to do including swimming, volleyball, basketball or just hanging out by the lake. The management staff is top notch, Erica was always willing to help with any questions or needs I had. If you are looking for an apartment in New Braunfels, look no further Westshore Colony is the best in town!

100% absolutely satisfied! Im a very busy student in search of a place near San Antonio / Austin for hospital rotations and everything the complex offered was exactly what I needed! I love the view of the lake and the 1 bedroom floorplan was everything I need. Great communication with the office staff, quick response at all time. Id like to commend Devin Cade in particular as shes always checking in to make sure Im okay. First name basis with the office staff goes far for me!

Renters beware.... if you want a great view of the lake and access ...you will get that....but that is all, we lived there for over 5 years and watched it decline...the park smells like a dog yard ...the pool is always dirty ... don’t fall dwn the stairs because they are falling apart...mean dog attacks and people getting bit...administration closes their eyes...weird fencing throughout...it is really sad when we first moved there it was really nice we loved it...SAD how poor management has been allowed to distort this beautiful property...

We are so happy and elated to be part of this community! I recommend it to anyone. With the heavy rains and some flooding that went on with the lake, some water came on to the park setting and the entire team, and community, got involved to help re-mediate. I am so honored to be part of this and to have been able to watch it all happen. Great work to all!

I have lived here for around five years and its an amazing apartment complex. There are so many kind people and tons of children. There also have lake access, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a swimming pool that is always clean, a little set up that is fenced to run your dogs, and finally a large area of land among with a sidewalk. There are rarely any bugs that bring harm to you witch is grate if you have kids.

The management was wonderful, everyone is super nice. Any maintenance issues I had were resolved quickly. This was my first time back in an apt in over 10 years. Overall was a great experience, and would recommend to anyone looking for affordable living in the new Braunfels area. They have has residence that have lived there since the time they opened. I think that says a lot about a place.My only reason for moving was to be on the other side of 35 as that is where my daughter attends school and I work. I just didnt want the hassle of having to drive across town any longer.

I have lived here 6 years. The staff is professional and courteous. If you have a maintenance problem they will send someone the same day to come and fix it. The only thing I dont like are the river rocks and sometimes the parking.

I spoke with Roberto today about moving because of a new job that ended up falling through and he was such a big help and super respectful and very pleasant. If I had more stars I would use them!

It sounds like IH35 is going right through your living room! Horrible windows, you hear everything! Loud neighbors!!! Management dont care. Not enough parking. Gate is always broken. Not the quiet river living youd expect!! Maintenance is good and nice guys and nice view in the park... but thats the only good thing I can write.

The staff (excluding) maintenance here are by far the worst apartment people I have ever had to deal with. Very rude, they say that they want to take care of their tenants, that is a lie. I can not wait till my lease is up here, would not recommend West shore to any one. You are better off hitting your head repeatedly against a brick wall then trying to deal with these people.

Weve lived here going on a year. Any time we need repairs or maintenance, they are available the same day. They do a great job and always leave things better than they found it.

Pretty horrible experience all together. There was a constant issue whether my hot water heater leaked all over a box of mine ruining my college diploma, my entire toilet needed to be replaced, dishwasher also needed to be replaced after flooding my living room and ruining my dishes because the disposal backed up into dishwasher. It took me contacting 6 times to have it replaced. Constantly having maintenance come in and out made it feel like it wasnt my home. On top of this it generally takes at least 5 calls to reach anyone in the office, they truly do not care about their tenants. They never contacted me to submit notice on my lease I discussed this with them at the very beginning of signing my lease that I would not be renewing and then they extended my lease contract by 2 weeks and charged my an additional $600! They truly only care about money and when you attempt to contact them no one ever answers. Horrible customer service. If I arrived home passed 9pm on a week night we had to park on the street because there werent enough spots for all tenants . The only good thing you will be paying for is lake access but after my experience it is so not worth it!

Going on my second lease manager fatima is really trying hard to get things done,every work order i have turned in has promptly been attended to. Parking is a pain but that has nothing to do with management, its who ever designed the property. We injoy the lake view.The pool needs a lot of attention but they are working on that as well. Its a cool place and I spend a lot of time out by the river and grill and hang out. Large property busy place. 1 year was good so why not try for 2 years .
