Samantha is a top notch Property Manager! She made the impossible- possible in less than 2 days! She’s such a beautiful person with a genuine concern about her prospective tenants! She got us in an apt ASAP and got us upgraded! She will do whatever it takes to help you and get you what you need! The apartments are beautiful and best price you can find in New Braunfels!! She got my daughter in ASAP without any hassles! Would recommend Samantha and Stone Haven to any one!

After new management these apartment complexes are on the turnaround I made a request last night at 1 o’clock because my refrigerator had stop working and I was immediately called the next day. The new manager made sure to have somebody go out there right after the phone call and my Refrigerator is now back running the fast response saved a lot of groceries from going bad. very happy with new management

This place deserves 0 STARS! DO NOT RENT HERE! My friend and her family have been moved in since January this year, their dishwasher has been broken since they moved in. Their sink disposal has been broken since MARCH! They have put in SEVERAL maintenance requests since then for these issues and all they have gotten is BS delays and absolutely no intentions of anyone coming to repair it. No one deserves to live like that and pay over $1200 in rent for it! The sink is filled with dirty food water that they had to cover with a towel because they have NO other way of getting rid of it. It’s creating a foul smell and the dishwasher is still filled with dirty water (from the previous tenant usage) that won’t drain. This is causing my friend incredible stress and regret of even considering living in this back of the alley, junkyard excuse of an apartment complex. Note that she has small CHILDREN at home as well. This is severely irresponsible and unprofessional of management and maintenance to let this happen for over several weeks, do nothing about it and still collect rent money. Absolutely disgusting.

Maintenance here is god awful. They take a whole month to show up and even then it’ll take them 3 different tries to fix the problem even after you’ve told them how and what to do. The only reason they don’t listen is because none of them understand basic English.

I would not recommend this apartment. The staff were terrible at communication. They never respond to emails and during covid the office was closed, so email was the only way to get ahold of the office. I lived their during covid, and all amenities that we paid for were closed. We never received a refund, or discounted rent. We also had mold in our air vents, and no one came to fix it until we threatened to sue. When we moved out, there was still mold in the vents, the problem was never fixed. Lastly, when we moved into the apartment it was a disaster. There was paint splatters all over the floor, trash all over the unit, and a layer of dust on every surface. The timeliness of the work orders getting completed is terrible, it would take WEEKS/MONTHS for anyone to come to the apartment. 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND StoneHaven! Terrible place to live for the price!

Decent apartments but the front office is inconsistent.They randomly close early without posting any flyers or notifications.Even on days the RENT is due.They are supposed to be open until 6pm, but they decided to leave BEFORE 5PM for no reason.Lets see them try to charge everyone late fees

I love how spacious our apartment is. The tall ceilings make it feel like were in a home instead of an apartment. The grounds are kept up very well and the staff is very nice and accommodating. I really like the trash pick up, I think thats a very nice touch. The grounds are kept up and we love the pool and workout facility. So far so good! Were very happy here.

We have lived here since last July and we do enjoy it for the most part. The only thing that I would caution prospective renters about is the constant noise. It seems like this complex would be quiet because it is in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. However, the street its on is adjacent to a street with 3(!!) elementary schools on it, one of which is pretty much right next to the complex itself. During the day, there is constant noise from the kids outside during recess. Also, the entire time weve lived here, we have lived underneath a family with extremely loud kids who stomp around during all hours of the day and night. We also live right next to the dumpster which makes noise around 9 pm at night. Of course I dont expect my surroundings to always be silent but the level of noise considering where this apartment is located is a little much for my tastes. I would recommend living on the third floor if you move here so you dont have to be underneath anybody (or at the very least not living in building 7 which is right next to the dumpster and elementary school). Other than that, Stonehaven has been pleasant. All of the staff are very friendly and the property itself is maintained very well. The staff made sure that our leasing process went very smoothly and laid out everything in our lease in detail for us, which we appreciated. I would recommend living here, but would just caution against it for anyone who might mind a lot of noise from kids.

The staff is amazing and so supportive and responsive. They are always willing to help in any way they can. The grounds are kept so clean and maintenance is on top of any issues with the apartment. The complex is in a great neighborhood which is close to all the conveniences like schools, parks, stores, and just a couple miles from I35 for commuting to work. So glad I found this place! Thanks for being so awesome guys!

Rocky Start, better finishThe move in process was absolutely atrocious. The washer and dryer we rented arrived separately. Washer on day one and dryer which we paid for on day one didn’t show up till 8 days AFTER we moved in. We called daily (no answer 90% of the time) and was consistently told “Tomorrow, we promise”, “That’s our bad, it’ll be there tomorrow”. That’s not even to mention the fire hazard we had on our stove top. The burners and covers did not fit. By that I mean they were slanted at such an angle that made them completely useless. Pots would slide right off, if we even wanted to use it we had to stand there and hold it steady while things cooked. Which got old very fast. Took 8 days for them to get to those too. Which coincidently we’d also been asking about for quite some time. When they finally dropped off the dryer we had to ask them to look at the stove top because while we thought they were there to tackle everything they rushed out the door the moment the dryer was in. So I quickly mentioned the burners and they looked completely puzzled. When I mentioned we’d been submitting request upon request for this the didnt know what to say. Once the maintenance crew saw it they immediately told us it was a huge fire hazard to not use them at all. They were back within 20 minutes with new ones. Glad to know after 8 days of reporting issues and troubles we had a fire hazard 10-15 ft away from us at all times. As much as I’d like to fight for a refund on the dryer and deposit for moving into an unsafe apartment confirmed by maintenance I know they’ll keep telling me to wait for a management call that will never come. Also, when we originally looked at this apartment we were walking through it and told that it was being renovated. Which is cool and exciting! Yet when we moved in the ground was COVERED in dust and small debris, dried paint was literally on the carpet in every room below every wall. And I promise that is not an exaggeration. We spent the first day before move in simply cleaning up the house as best we could to avoid allergy issues and potential other issues. We’ve documented very well the status of the apartment before move in just based in the sheer disarray of it all. Its really a shame that weve had to save and store every email and phone call with this company because we are already expecting they inevitable blame coming our way once they do their final walkthrough. My final thoughts are as follows. Maintenance feels non existent. Takes them weeks to get to us. Thats not an exaggeration but how it really truly is. Weve learned to be self sufficient so this doesnt really upset us anymore. The pest control forced into the rent is also terrible. Takes them 60 seconds to Spray the whole apartment. We bit the bullet on that one and contacted a third party and stopped using the service we are forced to pay for because the seals are terrible and ants and other insects are a pretty big problem for bottom floor apartments here. Office staff is helpful when you call with an actual emergency (heat, appliance failure, etc) and ask for something, that much is true most of the time. Finally, do not move into this place if you expect thick walls and ceilings. You will hear everyone that walks up the stairs, every step, conversation and vibration. The phone call your neighbor is on while on speakerphone. You will hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes and your fans and cupboards will shake if their child or dog decides to leg it across the floor. This place is old so I imagine that is why. The on occasion failure of appliances weve had can also attest to that. Weve had two upstairs neighbors during our time here. The first had one kid and we heard him often but never really did much because, well, kids deserve to be kids. The second neighbor had a similarly aged kid and a big dog. Needless to say we heard them every hour of everyday. So, if you have a big dog or kid pick a bottom floor apartment if possible. If you value your privacy and silence either pick a third floor choice or move on.

These are great apartments. My family has been living here for almost three years, and we have been very happy. The staff is super helpful and makes sure any issues that come up are taken care of immediately. Maintenance is great and very responsive. The location is fantastic as it is close to schools, parks, entertainment and shopping. Would definitely recommend these apartments

This is the best place to call home! The staff here is very friendly and they do everything they can to help you! Maintenance is very quick, and the prices here are impossible to beat! I’ve lived here for 2 years and loved every second of it! When our roommate left, the ladies at the office helped us every step of the way! Samantha at the front has been there for us since day one! We even talked our friends into moving here we loved it so much! Don’t even get me started on the community! This is THE place to live!

Live here for a little over a year. Pest control is included in the rent which is excessive already, and now roaches. Little roaches everywhere at night in the kitchen. We have told the front office several times already and still nothing has been done. This is going on the third week. I would not recommend renting here

Gotta admit not a big reviewer. First ever apartment and I was picky about it for sure. Neighbors are very quiet, and respectable. Watched someone love packages on their door step for a solid week and no one stole them so hey theres a plus! You can have everything sent to the office, ask maintenance for tools and most requests take a day or two before they get handled. That all depends on how urgent you place the request. Overall this is a very lovely place to live.

The buildings are decent, but management is negligent. They do not ensure that the companies they hire out (i.e. apartment cleaning for move-ins, trash services, etc.) do a thorough job. It is very difficult to communicate regarding maintenance needs, and the communication system and maintenance itself needs significant improvement. For instance, we have been trying to get two of our light switches (kitchen and bathroom) fixed since we moved in because they are faulty, and maintenances response was that it was happening to a lot of the apartments, and they dont know how to fix it. The apartments have occasional problems with bugs (even cockroaches appearances in some buildings) because they do not actively spray for bugs unless there are complaints (although you pay for pest control). Additionally, it is difficult to get requests for maintenance and cleaning around the buildings followed through without constantly sending out reminders- you must initiate communication and send reminders to get management to complete a job. Rent is too high ($1100 ish for a 2 bedroom) for how frustrating it can be to deal these issues.

I honestly dont even know where to begin... when we first signed our lease it was with the old management which were super nice. Once the new management came in it seemed as though all respect for us (and Im sure others) went out the window- that goes for payments, maintenance, and just simple concerns for the complex. When it comes to the apartment itself... everything is falling apart, there are cracks in the walls, the wood floors literally stick to your feet as you walk, and our overhead lights didnt even work- at least the fans worked. Definitely would recommend searching all options before you settle for this complex.

Great place to live. All the staff are so nice and really get to know their tenants. Maintenance is quick to respond and help you out. Everyone is so friendly there. The prior management wasn’t that great but the new management really changed everything for the better!

The maintenance and front office staff are incredible! Always prompt with requests and very friendly. Spacious apartments and great quality for your dollar. Pet friendly with a lovely dog park and waste disposal stations throughout complex.

From the first day I came to the leasing office and inquired about moving here, I knew this was the place to call home. Samantha and Erika have been nothing but so helpful and friendly from day one and I really appreciated the welcome letter and personal touch when we moved in. Maintenance are always so helpful and the grounds here are always sharp. Of apartment homes Ive visited or lived at in the past, THIS is a true home and my guests always complimentary of the area and staff.

Stonehaven has definitely been the place to be when it comes to having a home! Everything is where it needs to be and maintenance team has done more than a good job with keeping up with my request! Staff is well mannered and very professional, You gotta come here and see for yourself!

I have been here 3 years now on what was supposed to be a 1 year lease but I have had a good experience here at stone haven and in new Braunfels in general. Staff gives excellent customer service and never had any issues like water being turned off (always a problem in apartments) maintenance took care of my work order the same day I called and I dont get letters on my door constantly like other places I lived. Nice property and maintained all year. - satisfied resident.

This is a great place to live!! I have lived at this property since February 2017. When Greystar was managing them it was not a great place to live. Now that RIM owns and manages them it is a wonderful place to live. The Manager and Assistant Manager are very nice and helpful. Maintenance handles work orders quickly and completely. Pet rules are strictly enforced. It is a clean well kept property. RIM has plans for improvements to the property which will make it an even better place to live.

The Staff at Stonehaven has always been very professional and sweet. They are very nice to my kids and seem to really make a point of knowing their residents. Any Maintenance issues were quickly addressed and could easily be done while we were not available which is great since me and my husband both work during the day. These Apartments are so close to Walmart and HEB which makes it great for grocery shopping, As well as in very close distance to Fisher park. There are also Many sidewalks and walking trails nearby as well. The grass and landscaping have always been kept up and nice and offers a nice area for animals to walk and or children to play. We have never had an issue with safety concerns its a very nice apartment complex and the people all seem to be very nice. I would most definitely recommend this complex to anyone. The quietness is great for older couples and or single people and its also great for kids and families.

Would not recommend anyone moving here iv lived here under two ownerships, Waterford and now stonehaven, maintenance is extremely terrible as well as management . my apartment was in very poor condition moving in not to mention that they label it as newly renovated when all they did was paint the inside of the apartment. My advice is to stay far away from this place as possible. So glad I finished my lease with this place

I lived here in 2013 and moved back last year.... the new management is absolutely amazing! The only thing that sucks is parking but that’s apartment living! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am a big fan of Stonehaven. My family and I have lived here for 7 months or so and are really happy we chose this complex. It is well priced for the New Braunfels market. The floor plan we have is open and spacious and the ceilings are very tall. There is lots of storage space in the kitchen and throughout the apartment. Deep counters in the kitchen as well. Management is awesome and worked well with me during the application and move in process. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this complex to anyone.

It isnt a bad apartment complex. Just be prepared to be treated like a brand new resident every year at renewal time. My first year, I was offered a renewal offer with an 11% increase, and my second year, they offered me almost a 15% increase in rent. They took forever hiring a courtesy officer to take care of M-R 11:30pm pool parties. There are bigger and better apartments for less money in New Braunfels. Just look around.

Do yourself a favor and spend more money elsewhere for more relaxed living conditions. I cant even get working AC... you would think thats a basic necessity... going on night 4 of sleeping in the heat. The last time this happened it was last August and it was TERRIBLE. And they took their sweet time getting to it while the apartment staff sat in their 70 degree office. Oh and the pest control fee every month is a waste of money. It does nothing for the roaches crawling around. I had to buy my own product from Amazon for them to go away.

Moving in was such an easy and smooth process and their leasing agent maggie was very helpful. I went to their Doggy Event and it was so fun hanging out and meeting everyone. The manager samantha was also very nice and welcoming. The staff is very attentive when I go to pick up packages or need something in my apartment fixed, everything is great so far and I plan to stay here for the long run :)

I am on round 2 of living here. Moved back to Dallas, and then came back. Nice, quiet, clean place to live. Management is great.

Moved the family from out of state and did not get to see the apartment or apply in person and had to go based off of reviews and pictured which anyone in my shoes knows its a hit or miss and i will tell you that i am glad and relieved that we did not pass up this apartment. Maggie was who we worked with at the start of it but then us not being there i called the office on several occasions and had to deal with all 3 of them and Samantha the manager was so very welcoming and attentive to all my questions and calls and needs, she never rushed me and make me feel so comfortable everytime we chatted. When we finaly made it here the maintenance guys helped us carry our matress up 2 flights of stairs because i was struggling. We have been here a month now and nothing has changed, everyone is so friendly here and always so happy, the maintenance guys say hi to us making us feel noticed and we have no complaints. New braunfels is so nice and well kept, we love it here and love our new apartment.

The apartment has too many issues and more keep coming up. The apartment wasn’t ready rent to begin with. They don’t fix all the things i put a work order for. Staff has entered the apartment without any notice. I do not recommend this place.

Terrible customer service and maintenance repair. Very non-chalant about apartments in need of maintenance and not performed in a timely manner. Apparently no communication or they do not read written requests and then ask that you resubmit for the same problem for the 3rd time. Not acceptable when you can pay the same money elsewhere and have better response from management. I would recommend you keep shopping for apartments. This has been the first time Ive given a bad review to any apartment complex. Keep looking! From what Ive heard locally this is not a new problem.Very frustrated and HOT without working AC.

Lived here for a little over 2 years. The management before was terrible. The new management, especially Lyla, the Business Manager. After finding a house and needing to move out, she could not have been more helpful. We were worried that we were going to have to pay out our lease for the remaining 8 months, but she worked her tail off and got our apartment leased almost immediately so we wouldn’t have an enormous bill at the end. I cannot say enough about her and the office staff. The maintenance men were also very friendly when working on the apartment and even when out walking your dogs.

We have lived in this complex for 6+ years. New ownership/management recently took over. I’ve had a ceiling leak since Saturday (discovered after the office closed) and have not been able to reach anybody. Apparently even though the sign outside the office door lists Sunday hours, they no longer are open Sundays. And their emergency number was out of commission this weekend. I will not recommend this place and will move out ASAP.

I have moved to USA first time and came to StoneHaven Apartment Homes and it was really nice experience to stay here since last one year, one best thing I want to highlight that both Business Manager Lyla and Community Manager Samantha are really good and supportive. Both are working exceptionally well and always address the concerns of tenant those who are living here. I will recommend to all apartment seekers in New Braunfels should move to such nice place which having friendly supportive staff.For Future residents below is the useful information1. There are 2 day cares withing a mile distance. (Blue Bird Academy is in front of the entry gate)2. Walmart Super Center 1.5 miles3. Fisher Park for Kids 1.3 miles4. Kraft Park for Kids 0.6 miles5. Walnut Spring School 0.6 miles one of the best school in New Braunfels.We are feeling more secure because we have fire station number 5 of New Braunfels at 0.4 miles.All these are added advantages you will get when you will move in to StoneHaven Apartment Homes.
