The lady that helped me was super nice......I bought a ring for my fiance. The only problem was that the times I enter this store I kept getting followed and watched by a man in a blue jacket.....I felt so uncomfortable that I decided I would not spend my money with a company like this.......

My wife had called in today to schedule an appointment to get a piece of jewelry repaired that I had just bought her and she wanted to buy a pair of earrings to match. The gentleman that answered the phone told her she needed to schedule an appointment to get her necklace repaired online and that is the only way to do it. Fyi we went to your website to schedule and there is no way to schedule for a repair. You might want to consider changing how you help clients. Would have been better if you would have scheduled for her over the phone. I have been shopping at your store for the last 10 years 2 times a year one for her birthday and the other for Christmas. The lack of customer service on that phone call does not seem like you want our business.

Rude, rude, rude, the rudest people work at this store! I thought it was maybe a bad day so went on another occasion. I was wrong it wasnt just a bad day these people are so incredibly rude, just plain mean to customers. I will never go back to this establishment in my life.

Came here on valentines to buy a necklace and the process was good! I was helped by Stephanie which was really helpful and professional in the sale. During the purchase there was a bit of a issue with the card readers on the stores end. I was patient and once it was working I was on my way. On my way home I noticed I got charged Double for the 1 purchase that I made. I went to my bank since I was near by and Confirmed it was two separate transactions. I went back into the store and was told I need to speak to the manager about the situation. So I did but to no resolve. I explained my situation to him and he right away said“I can’t help you there’s nothing I can do”He didn’t even tryHe then proceeded to laugh and ask why “I’m getting upset over this”I explained to him that’s money that should have never been charged my they and that I needed it !He proceeded to laugh and then say” now your making me upset and there’s nothing I can do”He gave me a BS corporate number which wasn’t even the correct number and told me to leave.it’s now 2/18/19 and I still haven’t seen a refund on my account.Again the first sales interaction was great Stephanie was great but this ruined my day/ weekend plansDon’t deal with the Manager EDGAR G.

I went in to mainly to browse around but I did want a watch. All the Sales personally personell are all so nice. The Sales Man that helped me was so kind and awesome. He made me feel welcomed and important. He made it happen...i got my watch!!I didnt think Id qualify and I did. Im so glad i was able to open business with Jared Jewelry of National City.

I ordered a necklace from this location, I was told would be there in about a week and to go back to pick it up. Week later called to see if it arrived and they told me was there. I went to picked it up but they could not find it and told me to go back another time. I waited another week, called, and they told me it was there and they will keep it there for me. I went there and again they could not find it. very frustrated I left my phone number and name with Tess and she said she would call me when they found it. Its been months and still no call. I gave up and refuse to keep going back. How can they not know where a expensive piece of jewelry is? I will not give them my business and you shouldnt either!

This is a good place to shop for jewellery, but every time I walk in, the workers dont take me seriously. Im decently young, but I dont get greeted at all until I have to walk up to someone to ask for something. There is an older woman who works there whos a snob, also. She made me wait by the front entrance when I was picking up my ring from having a diamond replaced. Discrimination at its finest.

My spouse and I came to Jareds in National City for our 6 month check up for our engagement ring and wedding band. We noticed that the pandora section they have in the store was 50% off on some charms and bracelets and decided to stick around. Laura was the salesperson that was helping us with our ring inspection and helped us with our search of some pandora charms which took an extremely long time. After we waited for her to help us for a while, she left us hanging saying she was going to help another client. We waited for another 30 minutes and she finally helped us. I picked 4 charms to purchase. During this time, she apologized for taking so long and said it wasnt her department. We were ready to checkout. As she rang us up she says she had to go on a lunch break and left us with a gentleman named Eric. He continued to ring us up and in the end said the charms were not 50% off. I was confused... Laura had just said they were and thats why my husband and I decided to wait for her and shop around. I searched on my phone and the pandora website HAD the charms 50% off!!!! However, Eric said he couldnt overwrite the system. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was helping another costumer. I decided to wait some more to speak to her although at that point it was such a waste of time...and as some of you may agree, time is money. We waited for 10 minutes and the manager didnt even have the adoutisy to apologize or address us. 10 minutes later, she comes to us and says theres really nothing they can do. She asked for me to show her the charms on my phone and thought it was ridiculous (hello, I can just buy them online...and I will). At that point, they werent going to do anything about the situation. I asked Minerva (floor supervisor) for costumer service phone number and left. Worse costumer service Ive ever experienced in a jewlery store!! We will NEVER purchase at Jareds again.Update: Called costumer service number and it was the wrong number! Looked for CORRECT number online. Spoke to a very polite lady who said she would send message to district manager for that store. Hope they get some management going on at that store. It is evident no one runs the show there!

All I can say to my expectations and experience is that I am more than blow away with joy. Josh who help me create my custome heart shaped black diamond in 7ct made the whole process too easy for creating both me and my partners custom rings. I didn’t think what I wanted created would be possible but it was. My partners custom was a whole other journey on its on but josh made it all so easy and great for me to make a good choice on both rings. I can’t thank josh enough I am so happy. Please if you ever need to go in for anything ask for josh! I can’t thank him enough!!!!

They are very nice and helpful when you purchase jewlery. More expensive than other jewelry stores but the jewelry is quality. They have a great service plan but they treat you horrible whenever you bring in your jewelry for inspections, cleaning, or plating as part of this plan. We have spent quite a bit of money here and really dont appreciate the attitude every time we visit from a majority of the employees. The manager is very nice but the employees arent expecting a sale so they treat you awful. Unfortunately we have already spent quite a bit on said service plans so we are stuck going to Jared.

I bought a ring from the Jared store near fashion valley and it was a horrible experience from the start. They charged me to set a stone when I told them not to set it til I called and they wouldnt refund it. (They assured me a 30 day warranty) I ended up returning the stone that they pressured me into buying and just getting the setting. Found a really nice stone for it at another jeweller and had them set it and then today I took it into this Jared location. I walked in wearing an old pair of jeans, t-shirt with holes in it and a camo hat and they greeted me like I was wearing a suit and tie. Not only did they take in the ring I needed to get sized, but when I told them about how the other store handled my purchase they refunded me the 150 I was charged for the setting of the stone at the other location. So I was able to get a few things for my girlfriend...soon to be fiance. (Thats what the ring is for) Overall great experience and will continue going to this location. They made the situation right that the other store wasnt willing to do.

I lost a few stones in my ring and brought it in under warranty on Saturday. I was told it would be ready for pick up Tuesday. I went in on Tuesday and it wasnt ready. It actually wasnt ready for pickup until Tuesday. Not a huge deal. But then, the day after I pick my ring up, another stone had fallen out! And to make matters worse, when I called to explain what had happened, the guy who answered was extremely rude and tried to rush me off the phone! I wont be back.

Lucky for them, Im forced to give a star. My ring broken not once but twice in the same spot in less then 6 months. The sales people are impatient, short tempered, and condescending. Heed my warning and dont buy from this particular Jared.

My experience with the sales people was good. However, I want to warn everyone to get a second opinion when they tell you something needs to be fixed!! I brought my engagement ring in (that I bought from somewhere else) the guy in the back who does the repairs said 1 prong on my big diamond was cracked and i needed to spend over $400 to fix it. Sales lady said I shouldnt even wear it anymore or else I risk loosing it. I then took it to Mom and pops jewelry store that I trust and... They examined it very closely and said nothing was wrong with it!! The only reason I will ever come back here is to work on the band I got because I got the lifetime warranty on it. Very sad!

The positive:On 7/03/18, I stopped by Jareds and was helped out by Robert who provided great customer service and helped me pick out a beautiful ring for my soon to be fiancé. However, the ring was a size 7 and I was certain my girlfriend was a size 8. I asked Robert if he could please make an effort to get the ring resized by that same day since my gf and I were scheduled to catch a plane early the next day. To my relief, Jareds was able to resize just before closing time that same day. I left a happy customer with a size 8 ring that day.My gf and I ended up getting engaged during our vacation trip. The only problem was that the ring was too big. Turns out my gf was not a size 8 after all.The negative:Upon returning from our vacation, my fiancé and I stopped by Jareds on 7/13/18. We were greeted by an employee that did not provide good customer service. She seemed to be in a hurry the entire time and both my fiancé and I felt rushed. Anyhow, we explained we were there to resize the ring becaue it was too big. The employee made it seem as if it should have been obvious to me that a size 8 is way too big for a girl. She then had my fiancé try out different sizes and it turned out she was a size 7. Even during the ring sizing, she was very impatient and quick to suggest that without a doubt my fiancé was a size 7. She was however, very patient and detailed when examining the ring and pointing out the imperfections of the diamond to us. We were told the resizing on the ring would get done by the next day.On 7/14/18 we returned to Jareds. We were told our ring was ready. My fiancé tried on the ring and it seemed to fit ok. While I was fnishing up the ring insurance paperwork, my fiancé noticed that the diamond was chipped. The employee at the moment confirmed that there was a chip. A second employee came over to verify the chip. Even the employee that works in the diamond shop area was consulted. We were told a new diamond would be ordered to replace the chipped one.Our promise date on our new diamond is 9/21/2018. Yes, my gf who already posted photos of our engagement all over social media, has to now wait over 2 months to wear her ring. Most if not all congratulations on your engagement are usually followed by OMG girl let me see your ring. There is no ring. Not even a loaner ring. Just a finger and a look of disappointmen.Also, considering the documentation that takes place on a diamonds condition prior to any adjustment, its hard to believe that Jareds was about to let us walk out of the store without telling us about the chipped diamond. In all honesty, I cant even remember if we received an apology.We were told Jareds always strives to find a similar or better quality diamond than the one being replaced. Ill update this post next month when we receive our similar or better quality diamond.

Love Keys in Marion illinois. Got my weddimg band from Michael Jewelry. My Wonderful husband suprize me for our 25th anniversary. With a carot diamond they did a wonderful job using my ban turned out beautiful..,had repair done on it my prongs were loose and catching on things. The first place they sent it to wanted over $600. to replace prongs I think it was call the head. Had it sent back to them found someone else and it cost alittle over $60.00 Keys do what best for there customers. Keys had it back to me in less then 2wks. Thank you Marion Illinois Keys Jewelers..

I was very Disappointed with the service my daughter & I received there, she took me to buy me a gift for Mothers Day the clerk was so worried that her manager was watching her & she needed to go on her break, we couldnt look at rings because they couldnt take them out of the tray they said they would get in trouble . Tell me how are we supposed to buy merchandise if we cant look at them just really disappointed with the whole experience thats not to mention security was on us like a hawk I will not be going there again .
