We rented with Alamo at the Nashville Airport location Sept 21 - 25. We are Alamo members and always appreciate Alamos Skip the Counter feature. Makes life sooo much easier. This time we were greeted by Herman Patton. A wonderful, cheerful Alamo representative. All the cars in our category were gone--but he searched and found a suitable replacement without any hassle. In a time when customer service is almost an oxymoron, Herman proved it can still be done!! We just need more Hermans in the world. Well done!
I recently moved to Massachusetts and had to return back home to Tennessee for a family funeral and I originally went through a different rental company but they were giving me a hard time so I spoke with Michele at the front counter and she was able to assist me and provided me with great customer service! She was able to get me in a rental car and answered all of my questions! Upon arrival in the car garage I was greeted by Herman Patton and he had such a great personality and attitude that it made my day better! He provided such spectacular service and delivered the car at a timely matter. Will be doing further business with Alamo next time I visit Tennessee, hoping it’s under different circumstances!
First time renting with Alamo and what a wonderful start to our Nashville trip. Herman Patton was the representative for Alamo and he was such an amazing breath of fresh air. Very kind, courteous and pleasant. Greeted us with a smiling face and a cold water. Showed my husband and I all of the features of our rental and wished us a wonderful day. Im not a person who gives 5 stars often. Let me tell you that dealing with Braden (manager) and Aaron (trainee) was a awesome experience. We picked up our car at Nashville Airport location after hours and Braden was at the gate to let us out. I asked him about my bill discrepancy he gave me his email and told me if i forwarded him the original quote he would work on it. A week later i returned to drop the car off the bill still wasnt correct. I went in and was immediately greated with a smiling face Aaron. When i told Aaron my issue he called for a manager. While we waited we laughed about working customer service jobs. That is when Braden arrived. He remembered me and fixed the issue and even gave me an extra $20 off. I would like to thank them for handling the issue quickly and with no attitude.

We had excellent service at Alamo @ Nashville Airport. We had landed very early in the morning and were greeted by a very friendly customer service agent. Our car was ready. Especially would like to point out Herman Patton, the gentleman who made us feel very much at home. He embodies the famous southern hospitality and is the primary reason why I made sure to write this review. Way to go Alamo@Nashville!!
2 people greeted us on the way from the terminal to the Alamo office to see if we needed help. Herman, the second person greeting us, offered us some bottled water, wrapped in a paper towel to catch the condensation and walked us into the office.Daria the customer service person behind the desk was friendly, quick and helpful! She walked us out to the parking lot to recommend a car.The car was clean and operated as expected. This car rental experience was far superior to other recent exchanges with Alamo competitors. Herman & Daria were great. Highly recommend!

Rental with Alamo went smoothly. The cost was high with every rental company so I can only say I hope the future prices are lower! We got a Toyota Corolla and the car worked great! Love the Apple Car-Play and the gas mileage! The combination of National and Alamo made the Nashville airport return very busy. The airport is under construction so it takes quite a while to get from the return to the departure check in. Plan for extra time
Herman Patton was amazing! We landed in Nashville and were greeted by Herman who took the best care of my daughter and I. He was attentive to what our plans were (college drop off/dorm room shopping) and paired us with the best car for our needs. He took care of cooling the car down, configuring the seats, loaded our luggage, went over specific vehicle features and even gave us cold waters. Hermans customer service was too notch and really brightened our day as we had been traveling since 2am and still had a 3 hour drive after picking up our car rental. Amazing experience for us thanks to Herman!
We came to visit Nashville for my daughters 16th Birthday!!!! When we arrived to get our rental car we were greeted by the most amazing, kind hearted, and enthusiastic man ever Herman Patton! Herman was beyond amazing and just made my daughters day. He took the time to greet us with water and ask what brought us to Nashville and where we were from. He took the time to care and actually be interested in his customers. We ended up with a convertible and before we left he made sure we understood how everything worked. I wished we could encounter more humans in this world that go above and beyond in their work. This Nashville location is so incredibly lucky to have an employee like Herman. I hope you appreciate and value his work ethic and this man deserves to be recognized. We had a great experience. After a long flight we were anxious & excited about starting our girls trip in Tennessee. Herman Patton welcomed us with open arms, offered a cold water, checked us in, grabbed our bags and had us on our way before we could blink. He offered some good places to eat since we were famished. His southern comfort did not go unnoticed & was greatly appreciated. The return of the rental was just as easy. Simply pull up, get out, grab your bags and go. Will definitely use this Alamo again.
A lot of detail follows. THE BOTTOM LINE IS, EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED IF aLAMO HAD SIMOLY HAD SOMEONE DRIVE A REPLACEMENT VEHICLE TO US FROM THE NASHVILLE AIRPORT.So, 10 minutes outside Nashville airport on June 5th, our rental got a flat. After a 25 minute phone call, we got AAA who did a great job. The spare was not a full tire. We had 105 more miles to drive to our hotel. On a spare thats meant to go only 50 miles @ 50 MPH. So 1st of all roadside assistance put is in an unsafe situation from the start. We called a combination of roadside assistance/customer service 5 times over the following 2 days. Here is an accurate summary of those conversations:- Call back to customer assistance to explain we are on an unsafe tire and need a new vehicle. We are told we can drive to have the tire fixed locally. Not acceptable. We are then told we can pick up a replacement vehicle at Crossville, TN Enterprise (owner of Alamo) the next day (Sunday, 6/6). The location, we are told. is open and vehicles are available. We carefully drive there the next morning. Enterprise is NOT open.- We call again. We speak to a gentleman who stresses we are in an unsafe car. He shows NO VEHICLES available in Crossville. The nearest open location with vehicles is Murfreesboro, over 100 miles away. He says hell book us a car, but that we have to assume additional liability bc the spare is not rated to make that long a trip. We drive back to our resort instead.-We call again later that day to again try to arrange a car in Crossville. We are told by the rep that cars are indeed in Crossville.- I post my 1st review, and hear back from Alamo customer service in an hour wanting to know more details so they can put things right. I spend time typing a reply and send it. It is the last I ever hear from them.- Now, Monday morning, 6/7, the 3rd day of being grounded at the resort. On our next call, we are told that a vehicle carrier is on its way, bringing a replacement and to take away the unsafe one we currently have.- We meet the truck nearby on resort property. There is no replacement vehicle. My very educated guess. is that the same system that showed Crossville Enterprise as being open with cars on Sunday is the same which led someone from Alamo to tell the driver that there were cars available in Cookeville. To further my educated guess, the driver got to the Cookeville Alamo/Enterprise and was told that there were no cars & that he would need to break that news to us. Instead, I was driven in the vehicle carrier to a tire repair store where (without an appt) I had to wait 2 hours for the tire to be repaired.- While the tire was being repaired, I walked to the Enterprise location in Crossville and spoke to the manager. She said she still had no vehicles which had been returned but was expecting 1 by about 4:30. She said she would call me when it came in. Note she was aware of the situation as our names were on her screen as waiting for a replacement when I walked in the door. I never heard back from her.- The tire was repaired. No one contacted me then or since about the situation and how it took 3 days of my vacation, dealing with constant phone calls WE HAD TO PLACE, the anxiety of having an unsafe vehicle, the frustration of not being able to drive to sites we had planned to see.I have contacted my credit card company to dispute 3 days of the 7 day charges I was billed as I didnt have a safe vehicle to drive until the end of the 3rd day in TN.-The message to others: If you have a problem with your vehicle, get names, numbers and take notes. MOST of all, be mindful of Saturday rentals. If something happens you arent getting any real help over a weekend.-The message to Alamo: Your reservation and branch info systems are INACCURATE. Being told locations are open when they arent and that vehicles are available when they arent means you need to do a deep dive on why misinformation on the simplest questions is rampant. Your reps dont transfer calls to managers bc they have authority to fix it. NO.
We recently rented a car from Alamo at Nashville International Airport. I was able to do everything online, so pick up was a breeze. The folks there were very helpful. And much to our surprise, we ended up driving a BMW for a few days. Awesome experience.
We had an amazing experience with Alamo. The front desk lady was so nice, and even upgraded us to a nicer vehicle since it was my friend’s bachelorette weekend. We get out to go get the keys and are met with a warm greeting from Herman, along with a couple bottles of water. He also upgraded us to a larger vehicle which was a life saver since we had a group of 8 coming. Shout out to Herman who made our day with your kind words!
Alamo BNA benefits from the new renovations at the Nashville airport. Generally, Alamo treats me with professionalism and a cheerful demeanor. And at times, like my last visit, the price on the BMW was fantastic.However, I regularly experience the Alamo office abandoned, with people waiting around for someone to help them. There is a sign directing you to the National kiosk, but the line becomes long and you have to wait too long. It could be a better experience.
Herman P helped me out today while renting a van. He was fun and helpful. He made me feel completely welcome and the process a joy. The rest of the staff was also helpful and friendly. I will definitely rent from them again. Keep employees like Herman. He is just fun to be around.

Absolutely great experience here from check in to return. The lady at the desk was very quick and efficient. Herman Patton helped us with our car. He was loud and proud when welcoming us. It was a great to be greated with such energy as we had been up since 3am. It was a true southern welcome! He was filled with kindness, got us a free upgrade, put our luggage in the car, and did a walk around to show us all the controls. He was wonderful!! Our car was clean and was perfect for the trip. Rental return was extremely quick and the gentleman who helped us with that was also super kind. Ill definitely rent here again!
Great car bad service.Rented through Alamo. Both national and Alamo had their offices closed in Nashville. Never received a text or email saying the offices were closed or where to go a very nice security guard said it was across the street but did not know who was taking care of it. we got to the garage which had to be at least 90 degrees with just as high humidity. there were at least 7 people in front of me and a lot of confusion. the only rental place open in that area was at enterprise. No sign that said they were handling Alamo or National.Stood in line had 2 people running around. please know the 2 people that were present were doing there best but were overwhelmed with what their supervisors expected them to do. I got a great upgrade but the tech car had some tricks to get in drive park and reverse. I finally got the young mans attention but he was not informative on how to operate, said to give a call if i could not figure it out later.ALAMO you need to do a better job, for the employees thanks for the upgrade, thanks for during your best under difficult circumstances
Today’s rental at Alamo, BNA was, without question, the BEST experience I have ever had (and I rent quite a lot)!Mr. Herman Patton is a ray of pure sunshine in an otherwise sullied industry. Most airport rental car companies receive 1-2 stars and reflect the rating. Alamo BNA’s 4+ star rating is absolutely deserved and Herman’s courteous demeanor, jovial personality, and attention to the customer is, no doubt, a large reason why!From assisting the kiosk check-in process (rather than simply pointing in the direction of the unit) to personally walking me to the car, Herman’s kindness was a wonderful way to begin a trip. Alamo, and Nashville in general, is very lucky to have Herman as the first impressions for travelers.
Mr.Herman is the epitome of what customer service should be! As soon as he greeted us he made sure to make every moment special and welcoming! After learning we were celebrating a wedding anniversary and two birthdays he upgraded our vehicle! If you are flying into Nashville and renting a car, I definitely recommend choosing Alamo!

We have been customers of Hertz and Thrifty fir years as club members, switched to Alamo due to basic neglect on part of Hertz to be accountable and responsive to its customers, even its preferred club members. Alamo makes the whole rental experience so simple that there is no need for a club at all. Rental is quick, easy, no need for waiting in lines or other unnecessary delays. Without a doubt a markedly wonderful improvement over ANYthing the Hertz group offers.

I was worried that the van we reserved would not be ready or substituted due to high demand, but was pleasantly surprised. The online check in to avoid the counter was efficient, and the workers in the garage area were super friendly and helpful. The van was exactly what we needed and performed perfectly. The return process was equally efficient. Definitely will continue to rent from Alamo.
Have used AVIS for many years, but each time, there was always an issue with skip the counter that required me to go back up stairs and wait in line. Also - very restrictive rules when I tried to make adjustments to my rentals. Very frustrating. Also, their prices are unnecessarily high. This was my first time using Alamo and Ill probably continue to use them. Although I had to stop at the counter (1st time users usually do), everything else after that was incredibly smooth. Great service, great car, and most importantly, a great price. I did compare before this rental, and Alamo was about 15 - 20% less than Avis for a full size SUV.

The Nashville counter agent was friendly and sociable as she responded to all my inquires with great suggestions. Unfortunately, I forgot her name but she was working on Aug 16th around 12pm. Next stop was to pick up the car I rented - at that time I was greeted by Herman Patton. He was professional while being personable. He took the time to point out the features of the vehicle I was renting, which many times youre left to discover on your own at the worst times - such as a sudden rainstorm. The car was clean and ready to go.Being greeted by a smiling friendly faces after a full day of travel was refreshing.

Alamo Rental Car was so helpful on our family vacation. While traveling from Gatlinburg TN to Nashville, our rental car had blow out. Fortunately the vehicle had run flat tires. We called Alamo Roadside Assistance and they directed us to the nearest Enterprise location where they did and exchange and got us back on road in under and hour. All the people involved couldnt have been friendlier or more helpful.Thanks to everyone for the help.
Our agent at the airport today was super rude. Alamo needs to be upfront on pricing and deposits when booking. It should be as obvious as the price.

Rented from Nashville airport and both poor and good experiences depending on who from Alamo, Enterprise, or National was helping.Poor experiences were we were given wrong sized car, booth attendant had no idea of extra charges, and over charged when returning car to Cincinnati/Kentucky airport All of the above representatives indicated they can’t help and no effort to try to go above and beyond for good customer experiences.Good experiences were phone representatives helped clarify the overcharge at time of pickup and ensured no extra charges, exchange for the correct sized car, free upgrade for the troubles, and correcting the overcharges at time of return. Also, the one Nashville representative that was most knowledgeable and helpful on.a July 4th evening that helped with the exchange and upgrade. Thank you David, Albert, Gabbi, Ray!Would have given 5 stars if above poor experiences had not occurred and Alamo had consistent good experiences similar to above that resulted in across the board above and beyond helpful service. Disappointing that the customer had to go through all the troubles to get this reconciled that made it an overall poor experience.
Flew into Nashville and I got the greatest customer service rep to assist in taking me to my rental. Herman Patta really looked out for me and even assisted in carrying my bowling equipment. Good looking out Herman!!!!
It would be best if Alamo would have someone at the actual Alamo booth inside the airport, where the directions say to go. Instead, I had to walk about a quarter of a mile to the Alamo booth in the parking garage, only to be told that nobody was at that booth, and I had to go to the Enterprise booth. Too much runaround. On top of that, the customer is not given explicit information which actual car is theirs and what to do next. Too much runaround—-corporate too cheap and too lazy to staff the booth, and too lazy to provide adequate information.
Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and prompt. The car I rented was clean and ran perfectly. I left my wallet with my passport license tons of cash and they were able to track the car that was going to a different location. I got my wallet back no problem! Herman Patton really helped calm me down because I was having an anxiety attack. Wonderful customer service!
We had stopped on our way out of the rental pick up and stopped at the gate to show the agent damage that was there when we got the vehicle. When we had finished, the agent realized he still had my license. He gave us a call and we turned around to get it. Great heads up on his part. Check in was also easy.
Everything was ready at airport upon arrival. We rented Chevrolet Tahoe. It was very clean and a good vehicle for our purposes. Return check-in was better than smooth.

No car available when we arrived off flight, they had to go search for one and then got a smokers car and had asked for non smoker. Smelled that car for the week. Just don’t pay attention to details. Corporate America! Shop around next time for sure!
My last couple of experience, I will never forget! The automobile was to small, even though I had the pick the size reservation.And when I told the gentleman that 5 adults were traveling, he didnt care.. I guess because Alamo wasnt open at 7a and he worked for Enterprise. Also when I got there they held an extra $400 on my card.. This was the 1st that Ive ever heard of such a thing, and they couldnt explain why. I will not refer this company to anyone or have my company use the service ever again.
Alamo Rent A Car always provides us with a clean, well-appointed vehicle. We have been renting a minivan for our last three trips and it works out well for our extended family of five.The vehicles are no more than two years old and have less than 25K miles. They are reliable and fully operational.The trim level is usually not the highest but near the top with nice leather upholstery, heated seats, steering wheel, etc.I would highly recommend Alamo Rent A Car when choosing a rental car company. Their prices are competitive, if not the lowest and they have a nice selection of vehicles.
Was stuck in Nashville Tennessee and needed to get back to California after delivering a pickup to my son, called Alamo to rent a car and the agents said he had a mid size SUV for 595.00 and I said to book it, he took my drivers license number and email address and said it would be ready to go at Nashville airport. Once there Alamo wasn’t opened, Enterprise was processing Alamos clients and they had nothing for me!! The agents had put in wrong address, put down I was going to have it for 2 weeks and was going cost 1800,00!! I ended up getting the same SUV for 835.00 because I had no prove of the 595.00. Enterprise was great, dropped it off in Fresno no problem!! Will never use Alamo again and will not recommend it to friends or family!!
I pick up a Ford Transit Van at the Nashville Airport Alamo for a trip to Florida with the family. Great service, I checked in on line, bypassed the desk, walk to the vehicle, and drove to the check out. Smooth!! Great vehicle as well.
Rented a car in Nashville on vacation. did skip the counter and thatwent well . had a Chevy Malibu, nice car, clean, fun to drive.the rental rates had gone up recently so I had to pay more this trip butover good experience.

Harmon Patton is a saint. S-A-I-N-T. He is a lovely tall, African-American man who helps out in the outside Alamo customer service area.My husband and I are just trying to make sure our 16-month old son is warm and hastily get our car rental. This beautiful man saw we were frustrated from misinformation and whatnot. He took care of our luggage and set it aside while we took care of our rental and fed our son snacks to calm him. He also walked us to pick the best car seat for our rental AND packed our luggage in the car for us.I absolutely had to do this. I asked him if I could hug him and he said,”I knew you wanted a hug.” and he hugged me.His help had me emotional and I hope you all experience his help as well. God placed him there to be the calm and blissful part of getting your Alamo rental.We love you, Herman Patton! God Bless you!
The vehicle was available to pick up when I arrived to the rental station unlike other people I know that had their rentals cancelled due to lack of vehicles.The price was about 30% higher than I have rented from this location in the past up almost $200 to rent the vehicle for the same period 7 months earlierOverall due to the current situation the rental went as planned just more costly

They gave me a car that was very uncomfortable. The passenger side widow had air noise as you drove because the window did not seal well.There was no book to see what all of the buttons in the car. Got no instructions on any use of the car. The BMW they gave me was not what I asked for. It had a PARK button that did not put the car in park. Had a second park button that you had to use. Found it by using every button I could find

Shining Star. You know how the Star of Bethlehem and Jupiter aligned for the first time in hundreds of years? Well, 2 days before Christmas and during a time of Covid... I experienced something just as amazing! Herman Patton assisted me with choosing a lovely rental car that far exceeded my expectations. Our experience at Alamo Rent A CAR, in Nashville, was exceptional. We frequent Nashville several times a year, as family is there and we always rent a car. This was our first time selecting Alamo. A key to our experience was Herman Patton, their representative we had the pleasure of meeting during our visit over Thanksgiving. We have never encountered such a fabulous rental car representative before. First, he picked out a great vehicle for our family. He then took the time to walk us through the vehicle features such as setting the headlights to auto, how to start the car as it didnt use a key, how to fold down the rear seats and adjust the front one. As we were driving away we all gave a collective wow. I can say that from now on when we visit Nashville, Alamo will be our first choice for renting a car as we hope to meet Herman again.
The person who brought us our rental car was Herman Patton and hes about the nicest and happiest person Ive ever met. He is a people person and customer service oriented. He introduced himself and asked our first names, which is (sadly) a dying skill. We talked about football and he told us how he got his name pie man. He wished us a good visit and was very sincere about it. I really liked that. He treated us like he knew us for years when it had only been 5 minutes. I couldve talked to him all day. Well be back in Nashville in a couple months and I hope we get to talk him again. Next time well ask him for pointers on what to see.

Far and away the most pleasant rental experience I or my girlfriend have ever had. We were met by Herman Patton who possessed a Trainee (?) badge on his shirt. For the love of business sense, make this man the TrainER because if you had a carbon copy of him in every airport your competition would wither from the sheer gusto at which he goes about doing his job in the best way possible, from a customers standpoint. Had a great experience at Alamo at the Nashville Airport. Herman Patton greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm and made us feel so welcome. The Dodge Journey was in great shape and was really comfortable. Highly recommend!
It was the first time renting a car for my Wife and I. We were driving back from Tennessee to Chicago and from beginning to end the process was seamless. Picking up and dropping off at the Airports works great as you avoid the drop off fees. Not to mention we reserved a premium SUV and when we went to pick up car were upgraded complimentary from a Volkswagen Atlas to a Chevy Suburban!!! 7 hr drive felt so smooth coming back home. Will absolutely continue to use Alamo any chance I get. Their app is very easy to navigate through the accelerated check in feature works great! Thank you so much to all the staff working during COVID 19. Sending virtual hugs and positive energy from Chicago!!! See you soon!!!

Terrible service and scam-like practices.Because my regular go-to rental company was fully booked, I decided to give Alamo a try when visiting Mexico. The guy behind the counter claimed that I had to get liability insurance even though I clearly told him I already have liability insurance in the US, something which never had been an issue in the past. After some back and forth, and a long trip I decided to move forward and go through other means to get this waived. Big mistake, because Alamo does not have any business ethics. When I returned the car they told me to send a “Whatsapp” message to a manager’s number. Never got a response, even though the app is showing me that my inquiry was viewed. When I call the corporate office I get an attitude back, and the promise that I will get contacted by a manager. Needless to say I am still waiting for that call.Just choose another rental company!
Been trying to contact the Nashville location and can’t get ahold of a live person . When clicking the option to talk to someone from the branch it says voice mail is full. Completely useless will never use this company again what a joke they are!!
I like the way Alamo lets me pick my car.
Nashville Airport is the best all the way around, Michelle at the counter is always will to go above and beyond to help her customers no matter the task. Your entire staff totally compliment each other. We have been renting from Alamo since 2009 and will continue.
I almost always use Alamo for my rental needs. I find their prices competitive with others, and service is good. This time I booked a mid size SUV on their website, then enabled expedited check-in on their iPhone App and it really helped. We got the paperwork signed and got the car in about five minutes. The lady at the car hand over was very helpful. We requested her to give us a fuel efficient SUV and she found one for us. We had a NIssan Rougue 2020 model. It was a great ride in and round Smoky Mountains National Park. Similarly return of car was quick and easy.
Just have to say, Herman Patton is the best!! He always greets us with a smile every time we travel to Tennessee from Florida for our MTSU games. Such a energetic and kind man!! God Bless you Herman.
The airline switched our flight to arrive later in Nashville. I called Alamo directly to let them know and was assured it was noted and would be fine. My flight arrived at 3 pm instead of 2 pm. We grabbed our luggage and went to get our car to find there were none available in the category we requested (full size), We waited and waited. Finally she down graded me to a standard which was available but no price difference. Disappointing to say the least. The car was filthy inside and out! The next day I noticed the charge on my credit card was $300 more than on my confirmed reservation. Keep in mind, I was already paying more for a lower class car. I called Alamo and was assured this would be taken care of. Upon the rental return the price was still $300 more than I was quoted for the higher class car (I was driving a lower class car). It took me 45 minutes or more in the return car center to get this taken care of. I was chastised for using a third party rental agency (Costco Travel). She told me thats what you get for not booking direct with Alamo. I have been using Alamo for over 20 years. I will give them one more opportunity to have a good experience. After that, you will have lost my familys business.We the travelers have no control over the airlines switching flights and trying to combine flights. Alamo should have been more accommodating.
I had to rent a car when I had to fly in for an unexpected funeral so I booked my rental car when I booked my flight. I had issues finding where I was to pick up my car (at Nashville airport you must go to the parking garage), but after that it was great. The lady who checked me in was so courteous and the car was really nice. When taking my car back I had issues finding where the drop off was (mainly my error, from the stress of why I had to travel) but after a short wait on the phone a very wonderful lady helped calm me down and stayed on the phone with me until I got the car where it needed to be. She didn’t have to stay on the phone with me, but she could tell I was very stressed and went beyond her job to not only calm me but get me where I needed to go. By the way this was my first time flying and renting a car and they were GREAT!
The customer service ( both corporately and in Nashville and Phoenix) were very friendly and helpful. I had to change drop off destinations from Boston to Phoenix and they were very helpful and charged me only daily rate as normal. Drop off in Phoenix went quick and friendly. Car was in great shape.
Excellent experience!!! Given the COVID-19 situation, the employees took appropriate precautions and were very helpful and attentive. Herman Patton stood out in particular and treated my family kindly and so professionally. Very pleased all around with all aspects of the transaction from pick-up to drop-off. Will absolutely use this service again.

Rented a SUV for a week or so in June ´17 from Nashville to DC during a trip through the United Stated. I had two other cars from other rental companies during these vacations, but this was by far the best experience. Overall very friendly, helpful and competent staff. The gentleman in the parking lot noticed I liked the Wrangler that was coming around the corner freshly washed and offered to give it to me without additional cost. I loved the Jeep (30,000 miles on it) although I had to fill up windshield wiper fluid after using it just once and it pulling slightly to the right. Otherwise no problems with it during the 1030 miles I drove with it. If I ever rent another car in the US it will probably be Alamo again.
Overall was great, I felt bad for the late night gentleman that was working. Their was 10 of us checking in and no one to help him. He was fast, but was just a slight inconvenience to a few of us who still had 2+ hours to drive to get to our destination after landing. They promised that they would stay open till we go there and it was closed with a sign to go to the next station.
Good prices and free upgrade because they didnt have what we had reserved. Reservation fulfilled without a hitch.
Horrible experience. Customer service at Nashville Airport was terrible. We made reservation through our vacation club. Our arrival time changed a bit and it appeared that because we made the reservation through our club, representative from Alamo did not want to assist with our needs. Once we did get our vehicle, we continuously had to put air in a tire. The tire pressure light came on every time we got in the vehicle and a tire was low. When we called Alamo, they told us to take the vehicle to Firestone or return it for another vehicle. WE WERE ON VACATION!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Will never rent from Alamo again!!!Karen Falks
Rented a mid-size SUV at the Nashville Intl airport using Alamo’s bypass the counter & go straight to your car program. Car was great & very clean. My only complaint was that online I’d been advised that their parking lot would be marked by the type of vehicle and to go to that section and pick whatever car you wanted in that section. Well there were no such markings or signs at Nashville. We saw a Toyota RAV4 by itself and as that’s what I wanted we just took it. Drop off was very simple just park, leave the keys in the car and walk away. I’ll definitely use Alamo again.

We rented a convertible in Nashville for a short vacation and it was perfect. We had a gentleman help us I believe his name was Henry. He showed us everything we needed to know about the car. It was easy pick up and drip off for us. I’ll be using Alamo from now on.
In the Mercedes we rented for an out of state wedding, at the onset of a torrential downpour we were surprised to discover the lack of a rear windshield wiper blade. Also - Why do you get two key fobs LOCKED together. You lose one and the one locked to it is also lost. The trip was great and the car handled nicely. It was clean and the service was without issue. Due to my using points on my travel reward credit card, I was not able to utilize the No stop at the counter feature available to those who pay cash/credit. I called hoping it could be added with no success.
