I go here to get my hairs cut on the regular. The lady that owns the shop is awesome and quite an artist too. Shes made me feel comfortable in the chair and always does it right.

Can I say enough good things about The Chair? Nope, I really cant. Becky is such a sweet person and an awesome stylist. She does a phenomenal job.on our hair cuts. Ive been many places and she is the only person who can cut my whole family if 8 hair to the point Im happy and impressed with it. If you need a great haircut, look no further!

Becky is a master and my fellow Plattsburghian! I came in to cut my hair from long to bob, which is a significant risk, and she nailed it. I had a photo of Katy Perry and I left looking like that photo. How often does that happen? I am beyond satisfied and if I lived in the area I would be here all the time. Instead, I will settle on visiting her salon in NY.

Took an appointment and went there, showed her how i brush / comb my hair and how i like it styled and that i like to be able to comb both ways and part from more than one place. Informed her that i keep my hair long and that i am growing my hair out and i need the length through out and if needed will come back for a hair cut within 2 weeks again but not to go too short, Told her twice i need the hair long and cut only two weeks worth at maximum . I was turned to the opposite direction from the mirror for a significant duration and lot of length from the sides was removed, it will take me at least 3-4 months to grow back . It was a very rushed chop job, my haircut took all of 12 minutes . I should have communicated in more detail perhaps or in a different manner ; but i was very clear about my needs and emphasized more than once i need my hair long and be able to part from more than one place and not take more than 1/2 an inch through out and will come back for another paid haircut if needed . If you are someone who wears their hair long and / growing their hair out please avoid this place / at least request her not to rush . There was no one waiting but still the whole experience was very rushed and i was not listened to completely as i was informing of what my needs are with respect to the cut .

Found The Chair on a google search. It is an awesome place visually. The owner has done a great job with the decor, which provides an awesome atmosphere. The owner cut my husbands hair. She was easy to talk with and did a fabulous job. If we are ever in Nashville when he needs a haircut, we will definitely visit The Chair again! Great job, ladies!

Ive lived in Nashville for almost 20 years and this is easily my favorite barbershop in town. Great staff, super clean, convenient location and great selection of products. They introduced me to Reuzel products and that work great for my hair type. Highly recommend this shop!

This place is perfect. I am extremely sensitive about my scalp and my hair and the owner who cut my hair here was perfect. Always made sure I was comfortable with what she was cutting and at what length. My husband also goes here to get his hair cut and says we wont go to anyone else, even after we move!

So far so good. I am looking for Barber so I tried this place. Very relaxing man cave appeal. I hate having my hair cut but Leroy put me at ease. Black, White or in between will be doing well to drop in.

My husband and I both went here right after they opened. They do male and female hair really well. Becky is an amazing person and does agreat job cutting our hair. Love the atmosphere in here. Total we have had 5 haircuts here between the two of us and never had an issue. We will be customers of the place for life.

I get my hair cut here often. The owner is nice and the price is good. I would definitely recommend knowing exactly what you want though and being very specific or you may leave with regrets.

Good store, the ladies are very friendly and welcoming. KG, the african american barber there charges $30(little overpriced) for a haircut, + $1 that he makes you pay for using HIS square space app. I called him for an appointment 4 days prior and he arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes late, then he told me that he has to get someone else before me even though i waited an hour and a half for him WITH AN APPOINTMENT. He can provide a good haircut, but his professionalism and customer service does not correspond with his pricing. Ive found a barber elsewhere

I stumbled across this place online after getting a few bad cuts around town. I was immediately impressed with the energy and set up of this place. After my first cut I was hooked. I have since gotten cuts from Becca and the other barbers on staff there. This is definitely my spot now. If your looking for a solid fade, like myself, these guys have got you covered!

I had my locs twisted and braided. She was excellent. I had made a second appointment which she forgot even though it was she who chose the day and time. She made a third appointment only to have another client and no acknowledgement that I was even there. I left and havent been back since.
