If I could provide this establishment with a negative star amount I would, it is not worthy of any stars. Last week I visited our seasonal rental home to find the pool half empty and in awful condition. I contacted the store and spoke with Ana who advised she had no record of the property or our client relationship. When I called back and spoke with Becky she advised that they havent updated the service book and did have record of our property and service address and would get a tech over to the property today, when I asked what was different between now and 10 minutes prior when I spoke with Ana she explained that Ana was new and just didnt look in all the correct places. No one provided me a time of when to expect the techs to come that same day and apparently they arrived within 20 minutes while I was at breakfast. Becky called me to advised that they were there cleaning the pool and replacing the pool light as they were suppose to do earlier in the week.Upon my arrival back to the property I found that the pool was not cleaned well. Leaves were removed but no vacuuming done and therefore there was a film of small debris across the pool still. In addition, the pool light was not repaired. When I called the store back and got Ana she was rude and disrespectful. She spoke 5-7 minutes about how busy they were and how she had clients in front of her, etc. I asked if they were too busy to provide us with service to just let me know so that I could hire another company. At one point I asked to speak back with Becky who was much more pleasant and she told me no that she was Beckys boss. I found this strange since Becky had given the excuse earlier in the day about Ana being new but Ana was quick to correct that she was hired as a manager and the one in charge. To date, I have asked many times to speak with a higher member of management or the owner and have been given many excuses. Her manager is out on personal vacation and the owner just comes in whenever and they do not have a schedule for when he will be in. She has never asked for my contact info or offered to have someone call me back and will also not allow me to speak with anyone other than her.Today I called corporate office for Pinch A Penny to file a complaint not sure what it will do considering this is a private owned store but my recommendation is everyone is DO NOT HIRE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They will invoice you and not provide service. Had I not visited my seasonal property unexpected we may have never known they were not servicing it as hired to do. My pool pump would have burned up had the pool continued to operate at half water levels.Ana needs a new job that is not in customer service.

Pinch A Penny in Naples Earns A 5 Star Review For Pool Service And Pool Equipment RepairsWhen it comes to a reliable pool service company, Pinch A Penny tops the competition. I know firsthand being a customer of this pool service company since I purchased my home in Naples back in 2005. My pool service technician always does a great job and he leaves a note letting me know he was there if I’m not around, or if he did anything he wanted to call out; like cleaning the pool pump.Better yet, when it comes to pool problems and pool equipment repairs, they are very knowledgeable and ready to handle the problem quickly and with timely service. My pool heater finally broke and there heater was a top end efficient and affordable solution. I checked the competition first, so their prices for pool equipment are fair and very competitive. Here is the best part about Pinch A Penny in Naples. Their talent pool is the best in the business. Frank in the store handles the walk in traffic for pool supplies customers and also handles problem calls from pool service customers. He does what he says hes going to do and you can count on it. And you can also count on their management team as always being available if you need them. Over the years I have had many a crisis with normal pool maintenance issues, and why do these problems always happen when family is coming in. Pinch A Penny has always stepped up and saved the day for me, or should I say my grand kids. So, if you are thinking of hiring a pool service company or you’re unhappy with yours, or maybe you just service your pool yourself and need someone to fix your pool equipment problems. Pinch A Penny in Naples is the pool company for you?George N. Naples, FL

Staff are all very helpful, and I thoroughly recommend this store. The pool blanket I got from them was excellent value, does a great job, and has paid for itself many times over. We have a kidney shaped pool, so they came out and cut the blanket perfectly into shape for us, which was another part of their great service.

Lori wasnt working in the Naples location today so we drove all the way from Naples to Fort Myers where she was working & she took care care of all our issues & concerns. On April 12th I contacted this location to have them install a new pool pump, I spoke with Frank who claimed that the job could be done quickly! He needed a credit card and our home address! That was nearly a month ago! My pool is now almost black, and after repeatedly calling asking to speak to the owner, and leaving my number over and over with Ana and Becky I had to conclude that they are not the right people for my pool needs! This franchise outlet of Pinch a Penny has gone so far downhill since the former owner died! BE WARNED they are not good at call backs and appear completely disorganized! They are great at apology, but this DOES NOT fix pools! I have complained to the corporate office, and several people have been let go, however I think that this outlet needs a major overhaul to get it back to viable business! If you look on yelp it is horror story after horror story getting progressively worse! If you want great customer service speak with Brandon at the Golden Gate location! He and his owner have heard the same litany of complaints! They seem to feel sorry for this store, but as it fails they thrive! BEWARE!!

I stopped by the store today to get 2 chlorine refills. A young woman named Annel was there. I was the only customer in the store. Instead of waiting on me she just kept testing water and told me to place the empty jugs down. After waiting for her to finish, she took my jugs and 10 others to the back. After 5 minutes of standing there I went to the back and tried to ask her if I could get my jugs first. I couldnt get one sentence out before she just talked over me and was rude. After she rung me up I tried to ask her a question and she just talked over me again just saying um hmm ok thanks. I have never been treated so rudely as a customer in my life!! I just wish there was someone else in the store to witness her awful behavior.

They have always been fair to me, and I have been going there for 15 years.Last year they replaced my pool pump, and the year before the replaced my filter tank. I have been having them come out to my house once a year and replace my pool filter also. Whenever I go to the store on Davis Blvd to purchase chlorine tabs or liquid chlorine, they are very friendly, and have all my information in their computer. I will continue to use them.

Terrible customer service. Attempted to schedule a pool equipment repair for over a month. First called and left a message during working hours. Call never returned. Called again and left instructions with Frank who promised repair would be completed within 2 weeks. Two weeks later and no repair, I called again, but now there was no record of my repair. Another week passed and still no repair. Visited store in person and had unfortunate experience of dealing with Ana. She was rude and offensive and blamed other employees. Excuse after excuse was given and I gave up. I will never visit this store again.

The pool company is not the same under the new management. I had to call and complain 3 weeks in a row before I finally fired them and hired someone new because my pool was green with algae. They would say they would send someone out but it took days before they did. Visually even when they would get the water semi clear you could tell that it was not vacuumed and brushed from the sediment on the bottom.I also manage homes and was present when one of my customers called and asked them why her pool had turned greener than the golf course she is on and was told that her serviced was performed that day. Obviously she fired them.STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I am a small business owner, supporting local buisnesses and I send all of my clients to this specific location. I can understand 2 employees being overwhelmed with a full store, but on a slow day, paying attention to phones and carrying on conversations between one another while I stand patiently waiting with no acknowledgement until I go to walk out was too much. Unbelieveable that 2 employees didn’t see me walk in or even realize I was in the store for 15 mins. Given that the last 5 unbearable minutes spent, we were the only ones in the store. Startling the employees upon my exit as I carry my empty jugs back out to my truck, one of the two employees says to me, “I didn’t see you walk in” ...well, she summed it right up. With no acknowledgement from beginning to end, this will be my last visit, a tagged email will be sent to all of my clients letting them know “Leslie’s pools supplies” will be our new provider. Thank you for the past 15 yrs of quality service.

Since they have a new ownership the service is no longer existing. Spare parts are no longer available as before. I needed a new motor for the pool pump which had to be ordered for Friday. Frank took my phone number but nobody called. I called the answering machine but nobody called. When I went to the store they found some motors but could not establish if one was mine. Frank was off and did not leave any instruction and I was told that he never leaves any instruction. I should come back on Monday. As the pump was out of service since Monday I wanted to take one motor but that came up with a price of $1400.- and they could not find the right price of about $260.- I don’t need such a lousy service and bought a motor on the internet for $170.-

Pool service and pool accessories are available from Pinch A Penny.I cant say anything about the pool service. We only buy a nice gadget for the pool here and there. The last purchase here was a great floating mat that we couldnt find in the supermarket.Comparable items such as air mattresses, inflatable swimming aids and swimming animals etc. are already significantly more expensive here than in supermarkets. Since the high prices deter me, I cannot say anything about the quality and workmanship. Especially with such articles, I think that they dont last forever and that children at the pool in particular dont deal with them squeamishly. The Spring Float Mat from Swimways cost just under $ 30 and is super crafted and very comfortable.
