I use them for the very first time. They did a GREAT FIRST VISIT to our pool. Spent over 20 minutes taking care of it. The FIRST VISIT WAS FREE cant ask for more than that. Closed the screen door behind them without being told to do so as other companies like to leave it open for animals to crawl in.Cant wait to see them for their next visit to see how much time they spend there..Good price.
Love love Love these folks. Professional but genuinely helpful in trying to locate problems and fix them without gouging you. Located and installed a new pump which works perfectly and has warranty. They feel like family and this is so refreshing!! Check them out I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Sweetwater Pools is a very reliable company and the technicians are always friendly and respectful. However due to increasing economic demands I will be canceling my service and maintaining my pool myself. Will save $130 per month for a few minutes of my time every week.Edit: Tested the pH right after technicians last visit and pH greater than 8.5. Not sure what chemicals were put in over the time they cleaned the pool but I had to correct the pH back to range. I would suggest that the company do some spot checks to make sure that the technicians are doing the job correctly. Again the technicians are friendly and show up reliably but there are a few things that could have been done better.
I was very unhappy with my prior pool service. The walls were green my spa was dry and generally after 2 years of good service they went downhill big time. I called Sweetwater and Dave Dersch answered the phone. After I spoke with him asking numerous questions I felt better. He sent a technician over to my home the next day, diagnosed and fixed everything all very reasonably and quickly. The way he spoke to me and the way I was treated then and anytime I call now is the way all businesses should treat their customers/clients. I have faith again in my new Pool Service company Sweetwater Pools and would recommend them highly without reservation. They do what they say and are very knowledgeable, honest and timely. Thank you so much!!Dave deserves a raise !!!!Keith D. Leshine, Esq.
Best Pool Company!!! Always on time, when needing a repair, no need to wait weeks for it to be serviced. The techs and repair techs are amazing and get the job done correctly. As well as the office staff, they are always there to answer the phone and always have a great attitude willing to help! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Highly recommended
My pool kept turning on and off at random times even though my timer was working properly. Sweetwater’s staff was able to pin point the issue and replace my four function timer within 24 hours of giving them a call! The repair technicians were very helpful and professional. Definitely going to call again if I have any issues, they’re such a pleasure to work with! Thank you guys again
The technician did a very good job cleaning the pool, however, the company made unauthorized charges to our credit card (210) for supposedly a new filter (that we were never told about) and a service trip (which we were would not be an extra cost) and an algicide service we were not told about when signing up. Filter they replaced was brand new. When we called them, the owner refused to refund the 210 and the 25. After about an hour on the phone, he agreed to refund the 210 but said they would not finish the monthly service we already paid for and said he did not want to work with people like us. He mentioned a few times that we were being charged 140 (the rate we were quoted at sign up) and his normal rate is 165 (not what we were told at sign up) and that he does not mind losing us so that he can get a higher rate.Edit: The owner has responded with my full name and address which is unethical. I am sorry you feel that we have wronged you by asking for the full refund. For fairness sake it is, also, worth mentioning that we asked to cancel our service before you fired us as a customer. As for the discounted rate, this was what we were quoted if we had been quoted. Please dont blame your customers when you make a mistake.
I had called to order some parts and the office staff was very helpful and professional in informing the selection they had. They had the parts ordered in time and were able to fix my problem quickly. I would definitely go back to Sweetwater for my future needs.
Needed a spa side controller replaced and they were able to get one for us installed within a few days. Fast and courteous service
Had some issues with my pool and the office staff, specifically Jaymie, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Sweetwater Pool Service for all of your pool needs.
Wonderful customer service. Excellent personnel. I think they are the best!
We had such a great experience with Dawn ! She was so professional and gave us the best experience possible. What a great company ! Will definitely recommend!!! Thank you!!
New customer experience good so far
Next day service. Technician was very knowledgeable and polite. We will be using them again.
I called them for an emergency clean up service because we had a party this weekend for my grand kids and we had just had our roof re done and there was a lot of gravel from the roof inside of the pool. They were able to have a technician to a my house with the specialty vacuum to clean it up. Pool looks great .
Been working with Jacob and Ken at Sweetwater Pools and its been a pleasure. We had to replace 5 underwater lights in our community fountain as well as fixing related pump issues. Hop well done and exceeded our expectations.
Very professional, helpful and prompt !Jimmy comes every Tuesday and has become almost another family member! Very appreciative of their fine services!
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. The issue with this company (see below) is that they fraudulently charge credit cards WITHOUT authorization. Then the owner backpedals and comes up with these extra services that are customary for them to charge and tells you how complicated your pool is. There have been no free services received (mentioned in owners response below). I dont have any complaints about the technician. He did a great job cleaning the pool. We had ZERO communication from the company about the extra charges or extra trips. There is no paperwork of any sort. Additionally, they did not fulfill their monthly contract. They overcharge for parts. If you read other 1-2 star reviews, you will see the same issues. The owner attacks and insults customers. We discontinued the pool service. He goes ahead and posts he dropped us as customers. Who does that? A shady businessman. Ive never had a pool company charge credit cards without informing the owner what the charges were. To get back at us, the owner has published our names and address, which is a privacy violation. UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ETHICS.I have now read the negative reviews and they had similar issues. The owner often gives an excuse that this is old review, company has been under new management and also says they are not comfortable or feel safe coming to the property. Yet they are comfortable making unauthorized credit card charges.Other negative reviews summarized with the same issues as we have experienced:Sweetwater Pool Service acts very professional to gain your business, but extremely unprofessional when you have a concern or complaint about them. Rather than holding the conversation himself she ranted about some bizarre story of the staff being uncomfortable and threatened. He also told me I needed a new pump filter and I had one so he said set it out next to the pump. They only care about and are nice too you when you dont have any issues with your pool, but if and equipment stops working they do not help you or suggests ideas a...“snarky” comments made by the owners. They basically call anyone who complains about their service as “delirious “ or other unprofessional terms. They belittle & berate their customers in their rebuttal to comments made. They complain because a homeowner buys his own filter, or because a homeowner expects them to follow the schedule promised?
Dependable, friendly and they do great work. What else could I ask for?
Great customer service and follow up. Fixed some minor issues with our pool and gave us recommendations to improve the overall health of our pool and spa, since we maintain it ourselves.
I switched to Sweetwater and couldnt be happier. My pool has never been this clean and blue! My pool man Jimmie is THE BEST! Kudos to Sweetwater Pool Service!
I just watched Mike perform pool service at my home. He looked into the strainer basket and skimmer basket but did not clean out the debris. The filter is leaking since he says he last cleaned it 3 weeks ago. Mold growing on filter. I cancelled the service as of May 1 so not sure why he showed up at at all! Poor service.
Needing a new pool filter assembly I called around to check prices and install times. After calls to several typical pool supply stores I called Sweetwater and spoke to Ken Palumbo and he offered to bring the new filter to the house and get an installer out that afternoon. This customer service level is very rare and Ken went Above and Beyond with professional service!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Doc Campbell 10/19
Sweetwater Pools has been wonderful to work with-great service, great prices, knowledgeable staff-and our pool looks great! Can’t go wrong using them.
Prices are sometimes first impression of the company. Without having seeing their abilities someone wishing to have their pool serviced base their first impression on price and they are competitive with others but only by $10 a month
Our Pool Heater broke just before Christmas and we end up calling Sweetwater pool Service in Naples. Denise was extremely nice, professional and honest in dealing with our situation. We got a new Pool Heater installed on time at a reasonable price and we are very happy, so we thanks everyone involved. We are definitely use them again for any service.
Sweetwater Pool Services is the BEST we have ever used. They are professional, responsive and take pride in doing comprehensive work to customers satisfaction. The current tech who has been servicing us for several years, Anthony, meets/exceeds the criteria mentioned above. Our pool and water features are always pristine. Anthony is always most courteous.
We have used Sweetwater Pool Service for four years and had very consistent and reliable service. Denise and Jim, both in the office, are able to isolate pool issues and recommend solutions. The weekly cleaning of the pool happens like clockwork. Their pool technicians are well trained and their prices fair and reasonable. Good people that try to please.Tom M-- Naples
Was unable to use them due to distance, but just the professionalism on the phone was great. If youre within the territory I believe they would be a great choice
We had a heater installed by Sweetwater Pool Services and were very satisfied with the timeliness and quality of the transaction. I felt the selection process was fair-mined, the installation was scheduled in a timely manner, and the installers were efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this business.
I am searching for a new pool service. I was looking to switch to Sweetwater pools, but have changed my mind after reading the reviews. It isn’t so much about the comments that customers have made...it has more to do with the “snarky” comments made by the owners. They basically call anyone who complains about their service as “delirious “ or other unprofessional terms. They belittle & berate their customers in their rebuttal to comments made. They complain because a homeowner buys his own filter, or because a homeowner expects them to follow the schedule promised? They take a person’s cleaner in for repair then refuse to deliver it back to him? They belittle a customer over being charged a small $5.00 more than the original quote, yet for that $5.00, they were willing to put their reputation on the line? They obviously need some training in customer service...and they certainly don’t understand the philosophy that the customer is always right! If you are like me and looking to change companies, just take a moment and put yourself in the place of these other customers who had concerns. Would you want to be on the receiving end of their hostility toward complaining customers? Buyer Beware!
I have had a lot of pool service companies over the years. I find Sweetwater to be most organized, most knowledgeable, most reliable I have dealt with. Denise is so pleasant and nice every time I call. The owner personally took my call when I first started with them to help me with a small problem. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work
We have been working with Sweetwater Pools for 16 years. Their pools are always clean and clear, communication is great which makes our job easier to locate and repair leaks in their customers pools.
Sweetwater Pool service has been very responsive and attentive to our pool needs after the hurricane. They do professional work and have outstanding service...Thank you Sweetwater Pools!
We have been customers of Sweetwater Pool for 6 years now and have been very happy with their service. When a problem with the pool equipment arises, (as it did this past week) they have always given us quick service at a reasonable price. Jacob is an excellent technician. If we are out of town and our weekly pool cleaner detects a problem, Denise contacts us immediately. They are also experts with saltwater pools. We highly recommend them!
We have used Sweetwater Pool Service for years and have always been incredibly happy with the service. In addition, we had some issues with our Saltwater System after Hurricane Irma, and they were incredibly responsive and fair in their pricing, they did everything they could to get things back up and working as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend them.
We have enjoyed our home for nearly 14 years and with Sweetwater taking over a while back the pool has never looked better. Kevin does a great job!
We recently became customers of Sweetwater Pools. The service and attention this company has given me is outstanding. Customer service at its best!! We had issues with our setting up our timer and Jim was patient and gave me an explTin over the phone the got our pool timer working perfectly.Denise has also been wonderful to work with and also provides the customer service we were looking.for in a pool company. We moved here from NJ and were looking for a pool company that would give us the same type of service we had up north, we found that company with Sweetwater Pools !
Professional and quality work, every time.
At the recommendation of Sweetwater Pool Service, they recently installed a Jandy pool automation system on my pool. We have been here for 2 weeks and the system has worked just as advertised. No hassles and no issues. My wife is happy!!! My old system was only 3 years old and it never worked right. Glad we changed to Sweetwater.
I have used Sweetwater Pool Service for a couple years. Heres why I really like them.1. They are reliable and reasonable2. You can actually talk to a live person when you call.3. The person that answers (usually Denise) is always professional, courteous, helpful and caring.4. They keep you informed if every there is a delay or need to reschedule5. They know their business.6. As I am away a good part of the year I have confidence that they will look after my pool as I would and will inform if if ever there is problem.I can highly recommend them without any qualification.Ollie Akel
Over the last two years we have had 4 technicians. The first was fantastic, the second had black slime growing in the pool, the third like our first, but short lived. The most recent in two visits turned our pool green and we ended up with 5 gallons of bicarb dumped in the pool. Do you know what that looks like? They have tried to clean it out twice and it still has thick white powder all over. Lets say its going to take a long time to have a nice looking pool again. We are going elsewhere.
We moved to Naples permanently in September 2016 and were lucky to hire Sweetwater Pools to service our pool. It was the first time we owned a pool and Jim Arseneau, the owner and Jacob, the technician, patiently walked us through the process and suggested timely improvements to the equipment. From the owners, Jim and Tina down to the pool guy, Bob, everybody is professional and prompt and one sentence you will hear from Jim is: How can I make you happy?I would recommend this company to anybody.Greg Wallenstein
I highly recommend Sweetwater Pool Service. They come out weekly to clean my pool. When they have a change in days, like due to a holiday I always get an email to give me an update. The customer service when I give the office a call is always professional and I get answers to my questions right away. They just replaced my filter cartridge this month and it was reasonable. They took away the old one so I didnt have it in my garbage. I plan on purchasing a pool Heater this coming season.
We had recently Pentair Intelliconnect system installed. Very fast and very professional. What is remarkable is their old fashioned top professional service combined with use of modern technology.
We signed on with Sweetwater about a year ago after trying two others. Their customer service is excellent and they clean the pool as advertised.
They did a repair and the same afternoon there was a really loud noise. I reported it and the owner Jim said it was a coincidence and that I was just using this as a convenient excuse to get free service. He then accused me of rambling on and hung up on me. I told him that I would not pay the repair until it was fixed to my satisfaction. After he hung up on me he put an unauthorized charge on my credit card which I have now disputed. He also threatened to come and vandalize my equipment stating, I know where you live.
Kevin, our Sweetwater Pool man, does an outstanding job every week, Our pool, which we have owned for 14 years, has never looked better thanks to Kevins TLC!
We have been customers of Sweetwater Pool Service for over 8 years. In that time, we have received exceptionally good service. Sweetwater does an excellent job on pool cleaning, as well as diagnosing and repairing any problems. They are completely trustworthy and reliable. Our recent experience leads me to post this review. Following Irma, despite what Im sure were their own problems, the management at Sweetwater reached out via email to let us know what was happening, and when we could expect our pool service to resume. The day service resumed, the pool cleaner saw that the damage/guck in the pool bottom was beyond the capability of their equipment. Sweetwater arranged for a commercial firm to come and clean everything from the bottom of the pool, leaving it pristine. Throughout this process, Jim Arseneau made sure we were kept informed. I could not recommend them more highly.
Dawn was amazing!!
I am a local small business owner who has ties to our community offering great relationships and customer care for nearly 30 years. I read prior reviews on Sweetwater Pools and figured I would trust what others have to say as most things in our town are done by word of mouth and good recs. I am NOT the type to complain or put up a fuss but there is such a stark contrast in how this company brags on itself and the level of service given that I had to speak up for myself and my local community. Sweetwater Pool Service acts very professional to gain your business, but extremely unprofessional when you have a concern or complaint about them. When I called with a small complaint of my pool looking bad since they started the account, no one returned my calls after taking messages. Finally spoke with the owner who said he would look into the issue and get back with me. He very unprofessionally had a secretary call me back to cancel my service. Rather than holding the conversation himself she ranted about some bizarre story of the staff being uncomfortable and threatened. I replied I am at work how is this possible, then I reiterated that if this was the case why were they servicing my home and charging my account up to the point of me having a complaint of an un-swimmable pool. The phone operator Debbie said thats just how it is and I am hanging up on you now. I informed her that my security and cameras showed a pool tech walking the grounds of my home without having security clearance and taking pictures of my home. I also informed her that if they dont follow the rules of getting security clearance knocking to announce yourself if trespassing would have resolved any issue had with my security. She then stated lastly I will send a message to tell you where to find your pool equipment that we were having serviced for you and you can go pick it up or make arrangements yourself. I called pool services unlimited and edgewater pools. Both are highly recommended on Google and both provided excellent customer care. The salesmanger at pool services unlimited even apologized on behalf of another company for their actions and without badmouthing anyone proceeded to treat me like an upstanding member of the Naples Community. I had a sigh of relief understanding all is not lost on one misleading business. I hope my review can be of some help to my fellow people out there who still think the customer should be treated well and business is earned... A lost concept to some here in our town. I will take some before and after photos and add them also, as a picture is worth the 1,000 words I just typed...Be blessed my friends. Dr D.
Called in the middle of June and scheduled new service contract with Denise starting July 3rd. Alex & son (Nicholas) came out on June 26th instead and got double charged, from existing service and Sweetwater. At first I was told $85 and then $90, stating my pool was bigger than their starting size pool charge. When Alex told my wife and I that he would be back on July 3rd that it would be his regular scheduled date from now on - Monday mornings. He also told me I needed a new pump filter and I had one so he said set it out next to the pump on July 3rd. On July 5th I called their office and spoke with Tina (owner) and asked where Alex was. She looked at her schedule and said he was out on Sat the 1st. I asked why he didnt come as promised, every Monday, starting July 3rd? She said because of the July 4th holiday they couldnt get into gated communities on a holiday so they did their service calls early. I said my service was not scheduled on Tuesday and we dont have a gated community. She got flustered and rude. She called Alex and had no excuse and finally said; OK, Ill have Alex come out and put in the filter. I heard her husband (other owner) yell in the back round; Nobodies going out there for a special stop. So she came back with; Put your filter away and Ill have them put it in next week. Then she said; What do you need me to tell you so youll understand what happened. I said; No, what I need to cancel this account ... five errors in two weeks and I dont even get a call when or what to expect, complete Chaos.I read the response from the owner, Tina and her husband, and it is not accurate at all. Instead of going he-said; she-said. Let me just put this into perspective. There is always someone home, ALWAYS. And my wife gets up at 5:45 am Mon thru Sat. for work (27 years with Naples Police Dept) and Tina said Alex came out Sat to take care of Holiday accounts early. NO ONE was out on Sat. Yet Tina told me her GPS said he was here. Oh yeah, then why was it explained to me by Alex that he had put a service schedule and activity chart inside our filter timer and when I saw it, it showed what the technician does, i. e. filter, scrub the pool, add chemicals, etc. Everything was there for the first week when Alex started early but nothing, no activity for that Sat. the 1st of July. Tina even said at one point; The GPS said he was there. When I refuted this and she said; Well maybe at a neighbors house close to yours, but he was on your street in Berkshire Lakes. GPS or no GPS we were up and no one was here servicing our pool on Sat July 1st. And I still have the uncompleted chart.
They only care about and are nice too you when you dont have any issues with your pool, but if and equipment stops working they do not help you or suggests ideas and if you do not have money to fix the equipment they dont even suggest giving payments plans some of live paycheck to paycheck I think it was very wrong of them to terminate my service just people and equipment stopped working shame on them
