I had a very nice haircut with Ashley. She patiently listened to requirements and paid full attention to details. She is very professional and gave a nicely customized haircut that suits my hair.

I’ve been to Michael Graham in downtown Naperville twice now and I had good experiences both times! I went in for balayage & a haircut the first time, and most recently I went in for a full highlight, tone, blow dry & cut. Both times I went, I was seated right away. I had the same person working on me both times, her name is Miya I believe. She was great about listening to what I wanted, looking at inspiration pictures I showed her and just working with me in general. She always takes her time & is very precise about her work. It takes a good amount of time but it’s worth it because I get a great hair color & cut each time!! This place is pretty pricey but it’s clean, professional & high quality which makes the higher price tag worth it. I’ll definitely be going back!

Miya was great! I showed her a photo at the start of my visit and she was able to give me exactly what I wanted! She gave my hair a great trim and it looks so much healthier without taking length off. This is my second time at Michael Graham after moving to the area and it’s definitely my new salon!

I was looking for a quick and nice place to get my hair cut, not only was I able to get in that SAME day but the overall experience was phenomenal. Ashley cut my hair and I couldn’t ask for anyone better, she always made sure I was comfortable and asked if I had any allergies (which I do) and she made sure that the products she was using where going to be safe for me. Before my hair cut I had long unhealthy hair that was so damaged by the salon that had colored my hair 9 months prior. I wanted a change and i got what I asked for! I showed Ashley a few pictures and after looking at my hair and a few questions she immediately took my over to the washing station and told me what her plan was. I wanted to go shorter, three inches below my shoulder, and yet my hair was shorter than i may have pleased. my hair now is starting to grow out a little and still feels and looks absolutely amazing. After my mom had seen what an amazing job Ashley had done with my hair she booked an appointment a little less than a month ago and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. If i could i would tell all my friends and family to come here and get their hair done! hopefully i can get an appointment soon to get my hair colored! i can’t wait to see how well of a job that will be! overall an amazing salon and experience.pricing: for a high end salon the pricing is very reasonable, yes it may be a little too much but your paying for the products that are being used which is well worth it.not to mention that this isn’t only a hair salon, but I was definitely come it to get my nails done and maybe get a facial, it’s all in one place and i don’t have to run around town to get it all done!!

Michael Graham salon is a true spa experience. My colorist Colleen is the very best in her field. She knows exactly what to do with results that are always perfection. Chris cuts my hair and always discusses what my expectations are and he always delivers a great cut. The ladies that work the desk treat me like a queen. Needless to say this is the one appointment I never miss or reschedule.

I have always loved this salon, but since re-opening recently, I love them even more. They were very understanding and sensitive to my concerns and questions, and I couldnt have been happier or felt more safe during my appointment. Great customer service and very clean place !

Went in for my 1st post-COVID-lockdown haircut and selected them because they are also hugely supportive of the local community, including donating to a nonprofit dear to me (Normal Moments). Got an appointment quickly, arrived early and got in early, had a great cut from Chris who gave a GREAT head massage while washing my hair and didnt feel the need to chitchat the whole time he was cutting my hair. Since Im not a products girl, it was quickly completed and I headed out. He didnt try to sell me anything extra or push for the next appointment. I was so happy that I went home and had my husband make an appointment as well. Chris changed up his cut slightly and he looks FANTASTIC. :-D

The team at Michael Graham did a wonderful job for my bridal party hair and makeup. I worked with Frankie and she was so patient with me during the trial process. I came in for several trials to help narrow down the style of hair and makeup for my wedding day. Everything turned out absolutely perfect! For a hot August day my hair stayed in place and my makeup stayed fresh looking all day. The bridal party all enjoyed working with the different stylists and loved their. hair. Overall the open concept of the salon was fun for us to all walk around and visit with each other while enjoying coffee and breakfast. Was a great experience!

I havent had bangs in life, Amie made me look so good not just after the cut and blow dry but my hair looked very very stylish and trendy as it grew.In my experience not all hair stylist do good job but Amie is exceptional. Now that I have moved from Naperville struggling to find a stylist. Miss you Amie...

First time here. I was able to get an appointment the same day and when I arrived, I was taken to a chair immediately! Bridget was great! I was unsure of what I wanted and she asked questions and suggested a few options. I loved the outcome. I will definitely be back.

I would have given no stars but that wasn’t an option.I went in to get my hair colored from blonde to a warmer, darker brown. I showed several pictures. Made it very clear I did NOT want an ashy brown tone.Fast forward-over 200 later and several hours, my hair was not at all what I wanted. It was a flat brown with ash tones. It looked green. I left hoping I could adjust. I didn’t. My husband and colleagues also mentioned that it looked green. I am a lawyer working in a professional environment. It’s embarrassing.I asked that it be fixed. They graciously allowed me to come back. Again, I asked for it to be “warmed up” and that it have some dimension. She low lighted it and toned it. It looks NO different. No dimension and still green.I wrote the management asking for a refund as I have to go to another salon to get it fixed. They wouldn’t refund me and offered to have another stylist fix it today or tomorrow. Well, I work downtown and will be out of town tomorrow so that isn’t an option. I start a new job on Monday and I cannot go in looking like this!I will never return. I am so disappointed and will never recommend them to anyone. Beware. Proceed at your own risk. Now I’ve paid over 200 for terrible hair and will be paying probably that much again to get it fixed!!

Most aggressive and uncomfortable experience Ive ever had. I had a simple haircut with Chris and was the worst haircut ever. He refused to do the style I asked for and was my only day to get a haircut so I just agreed to his suggestion. Not only was it shorter than I asked and not the style I originally wanted but the experience was horrific. He would forcefully put his entire palm on the top of my head to turn it. When combing he would go so hard that even his hands would shake from it. He wouldnt talk to me much about how he wanted me to turn my head, he would keep telling me to lean back however. I was leaning so far back it felt like i was gonna fall out of the chair. When cutting the sides his body was pressed completely against mine. And there was a point where he was standing behind and lent over my body to cut the front of my hair. Not only was it extremley uncomfortable and an invasion of space but why would he cut that way?? He didnt ask if I wanted to see the back or change anything he just took my cape off and was gonna walk away. I had to stop him and say youre not done you havent done anything with my bangs. He quickly did them... way too short. Then immediately took the cape off again and did walk away. It didnt seem like he wanted to be there. I was already unhappy then went to pay and it was $68 for a basic haircut. Again my entire haircut was shorter than I asked... Not the style I asked... I dont have the amount of layers I asked for... I hate it. But most of all I hated the experience more.

Friendly staff, great service, timely appointments, and you can book online. Ryan is great for mens haircuts and even does a straight razor neck shave. Also a big fan of Lisa - she does my wife and mother-in-law, and shes done my hair too.

Chris is the worst. I wish I would have read the reviews before going as my experience was similar. I was supposed to be with a stylist I went to before (Philip) but they scheduled me with Chris and I didn’t realize this till I was in the chair. He cut it far shorter than I asked - the part I asked him to leave longer he cut. He disregarded what I said I wanted and said what he’d like to see with the cut. He never let me see the back. When I asked for some weight to be taken off the crown he said he already did. It was the worst experience and now I’m letting a cut grow out that I absolutely hate. I would definitely not recommend Chris for a cut.

I have finally found the right salon!

The girl double booked my appointment and rather than making me a priority (since I had booked it way in advance) she decided to start with the other girl first. So my appointment took an extra 2 hours because of the wait. She didnt even try to accommodate me. However she was very good at coloring my hair. My gf goes here all the time and speaks highly of this place and figured I would give it a try. Im a little disappointed that I didnt have a great experience too but Ill just have to travel a ways to go to my stylists salon.

My daughter and I get our hair done by Bre and she is absolutely Fantastic! Bre really listens to what it is you want with your hair and follows through with the cut and the color. I am impressed with the friendly staff from the moment you book your appointment, walking in you feel so welcome til the time you leave. I recommend Bre and this salon to anyone looking for a home salon. I love it here at Michael Graham Salon and will continue to come here in the coming years.

I paid $180 to get my roots done and hair cut, but my roots are still completely dark. Very disappointed with the outcome considering what I had to pay for something that looks the same as when I came in.
