Gerald Kia of Naperville, on Aurora rd… not to be confused with Gerald Kia North Aurora…I left my car here overnight with an early morning appt for servicing. I was highly annoyed when they called to ask why my car was there.Although they were fully booked today, Ted took care of my car. All of my questions were answered and I was extremely happy with Ted’s/lovely lady with the beautiful flowers-customer service. If it weren’t for him, I’d still be without a car. I’m very grateful they were able to squeeze me in today and will check twice when scheduling my next appointment. Thank you, Ted!

My service with Gerald Kia was fast and pain free. After calling and contacting several other places closer to home, I decided to try Gerald. I bought my Kia Seltos there (because of their positive reviews) even though it is far away from my home. I was able to quickly and easily speak to someone in both service and parts. I got the information I needed and was able to make an appointment. None of the other Kia dealerships I called came close to being as helpful as Gerald. The service was completed quicker than quoted and I got to eat cookies while I waited. All around great, thank you!

I want to start by saying that our salesman was awesome from the very beginning and that both my husband and I believe he deserves a raise and some recognition. We had been to a a different location in Lincolnwood and the manager there made the experience one of the worst customer service interactions we’ve ever had. Considering that we drove about an hour from Chicago to Naperville says a lot. Our salesman name was Ali and while he was a young gentleman, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process. He worked hard for us to get into the vehicle we wanted at the interest that was most appealing. Ali was extremely patient during the entire interaction. The location in general was a very welcoming environment. They offered coffee, water and had a number of complimentary snacks for the customers, all while staying within the COVID regulations. We sat in our own private cubicle well over the mandated 6FT rule from other clients and everything looked clean and tidy. I’d most definitely recommend for anyone to make the drive to Naperville. Customer service is a big thing when you’re looking to dive into such a important commitment like buying a brand new vehicle and Ali definitely made it an amazing experience to say the least. Than you so much! We can’t wait to be coming home in our 2022 Kia Telluride 🙏🏻🙌🏻

I was pleasantly surprised at Gerald Kia of Napervilles friendliness and professionalism when I went in to have a recall taken care of. They got me in immediately and had my recall issue taken care of in less than 60 minutes!
Would be zero stars if it was an option. Went in to inquire about test driving a Niro on an extended test drive so I can better make an informed decision and was told “no, that is not an option.” Do you WANT to sell a car or not? Answer: no, obviously not. That killed any possibility that I would ever consider that Kia dealer as an option for ANY car. I’ve had no issues with other reputable dealers that actually care about making the potential buyer satisfied with how they are treated BEFORE they purchase a vehicle. And he then had the nerve to say as I was leaving “we will see you back soon.” Not a chance.

Everyone was SO nice and helpful! I felt the sales team did their utmost to make it work for me to purchase the Kia Sportage even down to the color I wanted. I also want to add that Theresa in your Service Dept. is a gem! She was SO HELPFUL in answering my questions about my car when I brought it in to have the undercoating done. We came in on a whim since stock on the car we wanted in the area was low. The team patiently worked with us and we were able to get the vehicle of choice. They were great at answering questions and had options for kids while we deliberated the deal.

The staff was pleasant and efficient. Sergio handled our purchase from start to closing and gave us a very thorough explanation of the cockpit controls. Gerald KIA of Naperville had the largest selection of on lot vehicles in the area as well as 2022 KIA Tellurides on order for an interested buyer to have held until they arrive. Our purchase was with any of the last minute glitches we have experienced buying previous vehicles.

I received a reminder email the day before and appreciated that. As I dropped off my 2020 KIA Soul for the engine recall, they asked me about the 15k maintenance items I had forgotten about, again cool. It was completed that afternoon and I was called for pickup. What more could you want.
My experience here is always great. Customer service is great from the greeting to when they hand me my keys back. They always wash my car, wipe the inside dash and panels and vacuum. My car drives like the day I bought it when I leave. Thanks for the great service. See you in 6 months!!

The staff is polite that’s why there’s a one star but the cars they tried to sell me we’re complete garbage cars, especially when I took one of their Cars for inspection from my mechanic it was a literal ticking time bomb the brakes and struts/suspension was about to give out. For a company that values their cars for safety this was a major safety concern. In a month or 2 those parts will give out and itll most likely start scrapping on rear end while test driving and the brakes won’t even work there will be an accident with that car someone might die from it but they don’t care. Even when I negotiated they said no so I don’t think I’ll be coming back at all.“We test and check for safety if it’s not we auction it”Yea right
Gerald Kia was put in a tough situation from Kia and came through with flying colors. Due mainly to the pandemic, Dave and the service team are stuck with a lack of parts and frustrated clients, but they handled everything with class. I’ve purchased four Kia vehicles over the years and until this year had no issues with any of them. Our Soul’s engine died and the service department worked had to get Kia to honor their warranty. Thanks to that team and three and a half months of patience we finally have our car back and they have a customer for life.
Quentin always goes out of his way to answer my questions, reassure my concerns, and genuinely tries to fulfill the list of wants/needs when I come into this dealership. I especially appreciated how he went out of his way to complete this sale (without letting the car I chose get sold before I made my decision) and then even personally delivered it to my house!

I was hesitant to go shopping for a car, I had very bad experiences with salesmen and a whole day would go to waste. On September 19, 2021 my daughter and son-in-law took me to Gerald on New York 1st stop Mr.Sergio Jimenez ask what we wanted took notes and tested 2 cars within in 2 hours I drove out with the I wanted. He explained not only all the features in the car but also every step on the paperwork. I have never have a great experience in buying a car. I will surely have my family go there. Needed to go in for a VIN specific recall, so was told on the phone theyd order the part and call me when it was in. I also asked for them to check if they had a touch up pen in my color, and if not to please order one so I could pick it up when I got the work done. Almost a month later I call in again for an update and they told me it would just be a few more days, theyd call me. Two weeks later I called again and was told it was VIN specific theyd have to order it, when I said I was told just a few days two weeks ago, they magically found it and we scheduled the appointment.Almost everything day of was great: they worked with me immediately, shuttled me back home, and the work was done before they thought. Of course they were out of the touch up pen in my color, so I have to go back.
Its been a long time since I finances a car, so I had a lot of anxiety about it. I had my share of question with each person at every step and from the entry to exit with the financing guy, every effort was made to answer my questions. Everyone was patient NOT pushy and that helped change my views based on bad past experiences!

I cannot say enough good things about the service at Gerald Kia! I came looking to buy a new car but I was undecided which model I wanted to go with. The gentleman helping me, Drew, was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient (even though I changed my mind a lot and wanted to test drive everything!). The sales manager, Carlos, was also helpful. Drew helped me find the perfect car for me and made sure that I got the exact features and color that I wanted. After my purchase, my new car was cleaned and detailed to perfection! There’s a reason I only shop at Gerald’s when I’m looking for a new car but it’s experience was a great reminder of why!

The Naperville location was the 5th Kia dealership in a 24 hour period that I had visited. They by far had the best customer service and walked me through the process of buying my first ever new car. Wonderful experience!
The manager Carlos and salesperson Quentin were great. Very professional and they made the process easy. They negotiated fairly so both parties were happy, and thats how itssupposed to be. A lifetime warranty came with the car but wont know if it works till something goes wrong. Will update when that happens.
I was honestly disappointed and a little scared that they didn’t do any of the maintenance of my car. I took it in and asked the representative if they could replace my windshield wipers along with my maintenance and he said, “Oh ya, no problem no problem!” Never wrote it down on the service sheet just said they could. After I picked up my vehicle I had forgotten to ask if they did this, as I had my two kids and a migraine. When I went out to my car noticed that it was very dirty looking still in the back. I couldn’t remember if they gave complimentary car washes. When I proceed to drive home it started drizzling and I used my wipers and I could tell they weren’t replaced. I tried looking at the receipt and it didn’t mark it on there. But I did look at the multi inspection report and it said they were check and they were green (good). I also saw on the service report that a complimentary car was given. I started to question if they even touched my car. I called them and ask the rep if they replace the wipers cause I said it looked like they didn’t and he said they totally forgot and they were really sorry. I didn’t ask about the car wash but I’m pretty sure they didn’t cause my car wasn’t even wet when I got it back. We were set for a road trip the next morning so I had to replace the blade myself and I even checked the air filter change they did to make sure they did it. They did do it. Still the whole situation made me question if they even did anything to my vehicle.
I bought my 2021 Seltos at Gerald Kia and I could not have asked for a better experience! My salesman, Greg Brown, was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He worked hard to make the process easy and enjoyable. The facility was spotless and modern. Everybody was courteous. The finance director was fair and fun. How often do you hear that??? Every person did his or her best to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back for my next Kia!
Chris Scott was very helpful initially locating the exact car that we were searching for over email and Jessica Johnson was very nice to deal with throughout the entire process in person. However, when initially reviewing the pricing to place a deposit, the dealership hid a dealer markup in the numbers making it unknown to me until I was with financing. This markup never showed up in the top of line pricing for the car. Had I identified this expense, or it was pointed out to me, I would had felt that the dealership was more forthcoming about the actual price of the car. This was intentional and I think it is shady way of doing business with your customers.

Chris (My salesman) was very helpful and laid back, he never pressured me throughout the process of buying the car, the extras, etc. Just laid out the info and talked me through the benefits, drawbacks, etc. HIGHLY recommend you ask for him if you stop in. Had great while buying the car two year. Got mail about the buyback offer and called them to know more about it. I clearly Specified them that would you pay me more than the purchase price? They were like yes we have shortage of cars and something about manufacturing chip and they have also attached Wall street Journals article. But its just a sales trap don’t fall into it

I came to this place twice until today. Wasnt quite successful in getting my dream car, a Kia carnival, at a low price at the beginning. The next time I came, I am happy to meet with Jessica. Unlike the first salesman I met, she checked my record to know me better, proved her professional knowledge, and she is funny. I would recommend her to my friends should they have similar demand. They didnt have me in the system for a service appointment. I showed them the text that had the right date, time, and location. I was told it should only be about 45 mins, and if I didnt hear from him it should be done. After an hour and a half I came back and it was done. Parked outside and unlocked! They dont watch the cars. So disappointed. There were no customers inside so I ask why I didnt get a phone call. He said they were busy

Unfortunately, this is the second time in 4 months that a small animal chewed through some of the wires in the engine bay. Although I could’ve claimed the damage with my insurance, the damage this time is not as costly as the last.

I did not feel rushed or talked down to at all. The personalized service guide they gave me is awesome- it details upcoming services (like breaks) that I may need soon, so I can plan and budget ahead of time. I had a previous bankruptcy that was pending discharge and they were able to work through it with a little effort. All employees we came across were friendly and non forceful on a sale. The customer service was great. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the guy who greeted customers as we came in but he was superb. He was kind and courteous when dealing with me. He showed a level of respect that was greatly appreciated. I was coming in to have a recall issue fixed but the issue was not resolved and I have to go back otherwise this would have been the perfect experience.
