Good gym. Nice to have it back open!
I have worked out in this gym for a decade and it has changed. This gym has great features and everything necessary for serious bodybuilders and powerlifters but would rather be a spa than a gym. They drove the bodybuilders and powerlifters out a few years ago.The atmosphere is more like a shopping mall than a place where people work hard. The gym floor features light bubblegum pop and 90s eurobeat and is painted in soothing pastels. Theres a snack shop which features all the newest health fads in tiny health fad portions. Light jazz plays in the locker rooms.God forbid you actually work hard and make noise. Weather you drop or bang your weights or you accidentally bellow during a set, you are scaring their clientele away and you are sure to hear about it.This gym has decent equipment and if you are a powerlifter or bodybuilder you can work out, but you will feel out of place.
They have reopened indoor activities. YEAH! The staff is doing a great job with cleaning and social distancing. Members are respecting guidelines. Come on down and support our local gym.
Very clean. Quality of equipment and the classes they offer are what one will need to take care of health and well being.great staff.
Very clean. Spa like locker rooms with steam, dry sauna, jacuzzi. Outdoor pools for laps and fitness. Very comfortable working out at this facility. Relaxing and rejuvenating.
They have gone over and beyond with ingenious ways trying to keep classes, equipment and the pools open, running, and sanitary. Excellent staff! Thank you 😊
Food is great but the service is iffy
Fantastic, clean, not over crowded, great selection of machines and fee weights, many spin, yoga, exercise classes, good sandwiches at snack bar, wading pool and large lap pool, inside and out saunas..and more. The best. REASONABLE MONTHLY FEES
I had just moved to Napa and was looking for a gym to try. I tried a 1-Day pass here since it had the best yelp reviews and looked awesome. I locked my bag in the locker room and used the gyms lock. To my surprise, my locker had been broken into and my iphone and wallet was stolen while I was in the shower. The 2 employees at the front desk were very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as they could but there was no such luck. Im disappointed, not only because my private space was publicly violated, but that a gym that seems so put together has this problem. Guests deserve more security.
Wonderful health club without the lunk alarm. Health Quest has everything for everyone interested in a better body and feeling great.
Love this gym! Has everything! Spacious, great saunas, very clean.
Love the gym, only drawback is there weekend hours close to early.
I love it I can work out of just relaxed in the sana after football practice go vintage crushers
I love this pplace thanks to my family for showing me this amazing place to work out
Has everything and everyone is friends and lots of different classes. Fun place to work out at.
The gym is located in a good spot and I like themany times I have run into friendly staff there. Then their is the equipment that is managed into a routine fixing (the machines are upkept and well maintained) The gym has many pieces of equipment that workout the whole entire body. The trick to get through a cardio class is to plow on throughout the workout and pace yourself! That is what I do throughout the class for myself.
I paid an $18 fee to get a day pass to this gym and plan to do the same two more times this week (in August 2013). The facility is huge and clean and modern and very well equipped with the free weights I like using. They have two full power racks, three Olympic lifting platforms, and three full rooms of free weights and weight machines favored by the lifting crowd. They even have trap bars and parallel grip deadlift bars. In addition to all this they have tons of cardio equipment, none of which I find interesting, but which seemed to be very popular with the patrons. Its a family friendly location, with a few father and son duos spotting each other on the free weights when I was there. Next visit I plan to soak in the hot tub post workout. The biggest negatives Ive come across so far are (1) too few small plates for barbells -- i.e. there are tons of 45s but the 2.5s are scarce; (2) no weight belts for adding weight to dips and pull ups.
$179 just to sign up and $89 a month.
