Today was my first visit to the dentist in four years. I was nervous going in because of severe tooth pain and they were able to identify it. Technology is more advanced since I last visited a dentist. The staff was friendly. I appreciate how clean and strict their policies are due to COVID.

I just completed my orthodontic work and am now in retainers. Awesome place to get dental work done . Everyone is super kind. Daniel, the Patient Care Coordinator at this office is so awesome! It’s always a good experience coming into the the office and being greeted by him. You can tell he cares about the patients comfort and care. Thank you Daniel.

Quick and simple. No pain. Got two fillings and it was done in 20 minutes from start to finish. Theyre very caring and want to make sure youre always comfortable

I went in for my routine check up and was referred to see the orthodontist. I was pressed for time due to my work schedule, but fortunately for me I was able to do a tele consult with the Orthodontist. It was extremely convenient and simple. Daniel was genuinely kind and very informative.I absolutely enjoyed my visit to this office. The girls up front are filled with such charisma. 10/10 recommended attending this office for any dental work. ESPECIALLY BRACES!

I just wanna say I really love going here. Everybody in the front is super nice and friendly and very patient. Check in is very quick and easy. And when you go to the back they are already ready for you. And they are gentle with your teeth. Which I really love because I have sensitive teeth. They go above and beyond to make sure you love your new smile 😃 10/10 I most definitely recommend.

Just went today after years of not seeing a dentist and I feel confident that I am on the road to better health and a better looking and feeling smile. I know how important taking care of my teeth are when dealing with all around love life and good health and coming to this Western Dental near my home is doing nothing but good things. They were kind and the tech who did all my X-rays and the polishing was just the nicest you could ask for. A+ all around.

It is always a pleasant experience coming to Western Dental office. Cynthia is friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable. I have always been able to schedule appointments quickly, which is very helpful with my busy schedule. The dentist is thorough and explains procedures and treatment plans and the office works with my insurance co. They make going to the dentist as pleasant and convenient.

Both of my boys love going to their orthodontic appointments because everyone there is awesome! They are going above and beyond with their COVID prevention measures and we all feel safe going. Daniel is the type of guy every employer dreams of having to represent the face of their company. He is friendly, quick, thorough, and my boys think of him as a big brother. We need more Daniels in the world.

I’m absolutely distressed with my last visit because DR. TRIN cut open a piece of my lip. Basically took a chunk out of my lip. Worst part about it is he NEVER APOLOGIZED TO ME and did not bother to give me any aftercare for my lip. I filed a grievance report already and I am currently waiting to get a call/email. Mistakes happen but I deserved an apology from DR. TRIN not his technicians! Hopefully the pictures I add to this review SHOW UP!

This is the worst place that I have been in my life. Waiting for life to playing with you mind, feel like in the car dealership. The end they just want to such your blood dry, non ethical. Bad, I wish I can rate 0 star if I could,,,

My dad has a severe pain in his gum so I booked an appointment for him, I requested to fill out the paperwork online because he doesnt read/write in English,  his languageis Arabic, so the customer service gave me the link and I submitted the paperwork twice! When my dad went to his appointment a lady her name is Cynthia said she couldnt find them, I said ok let me try to fill them out for the THIRD time very quickly because my dad wont be able to do them himself, she said no he needs to reschedule an appointment again and bring someone who speaks Arabic or they might find an interpreter,  I told her he is in pain and needs to see the doctor today, and I requested from her if she could help me with that since no one is available to come with him and I can translate everything through the phone, but she refused and said go to ER!!! I asked if it is possible to let him go in since she took his ID and Medical card and then we can try to do something about the paperwork since I dont want his appointment to be canceled,she said no you need to bring someone to translate and you cant translate through the phone!!My dad went to more than 20 clinics within the past 3 years and (no one) had refused me translating for him through the phone!! But for a weird reason in this clinic they made everything complicated and my brother had to leave his work to come very quickly to help my dad since for the first time a clinic refused to help him and cooperate with us !

The receptionist are always very kind, the ortho department is always great and I never wait there too long. Ive been using the aligners and really liked my results.

I went in for a Deep Cleaning and I left Western Dental in Murrietta with a new mouth. I really would recommend. The Doctor and Nurse, Secretary all were very nice and professional. 5 ⭐️

Today’s Cristina remove my braces it was grate expensive she was really attentive, to know if I had any paint or my teeth were sensitive, she was really professional, She did amazing.

Good place! Not sure why other people have so many issues... maybe it has been in the past. Ive been here for years and, despite hating going to the dentist (I dont like the feeling of metal tools, fingers, and pastes in my mouth), Western Dental makes it run as smoothly as possible! Sometimes there are long wait times, but thats all. The people there are always nice and straightforward. I think people have issues with this place either because 1) they dont take care of their teeth or 2) they have unrealistic expectations about what the experience will be like or what it will cost. 5 stars because they are a simple, straightforward dental office with friendly people and a clean facility.

Only on my second visit to get my wisdom teeth removed, I took time off work to be told they couldn’t do it today after looking at X rays that were taken twice already a week prior to the one taken today. Also was told that I’ll be needing to be sedated after being given the option and refused a week before. They’re happy to start a contract and break it to work in their favor. Disappointed since I was referred here by my own family. Terrible practice. I regret coming here in the first place

The dentist and staff are really friendly but the incompetence behind the scenes is scary. I have now had two teeth that had to be pulled as a result of the X-ray technicians. Both teeth needed crowns and had already had the root canals and I had to wait several months being told the caps had not been approved by insurance yet, meanwhile my teeth weekend and chipped, then knowing they had temporarily fillings and bonds on them both times the person doing the X-rays weren’t careful, and caused further damage resulting in the teeth needing pulled instead of capped. The first time it happened I chalked it up to an unfortunate accident but twice is just pure negligence.

I got so so bad experience wit manager her name is Lupe at western dental Madison Ave suit 101 Murrieta Ca again. She is so bad person, and false. She is not qualify to be manager. Even, she is not qualify to work in western dental. She thinks that she is owner. Her behavior is so bad with staff too. But, they do not complain because they are worry to loss their job. Last week, I called many different local office to ask how much is cost crown? I called to this office in Madison Ave Murrieta #101 too. But, the manager (lupe) did not allow to reception to respond to me. She took the phone, and said that I can not call, or go to this office because I complaint from her before. I complain to western dental customer service. When they asked her what happened, she lied about me. She said that I have problem with all doctors, and all staff. This is not true. All, them are nice. I did not have any problem with them. Just, the manager ismendacious. Except her, all doctors, and staff are nice. She is so rude, and so impolite. I am sure that she has problem with the other patients, but they do not complain because she will hurt them. Why owner let her to work at this office? I will follow my complaint .

They are great at taking in first-time customers and get you started. But not so great in keeping loyalty customers with appointments. They need a better appointment schedule system. My daughter has a follow-up ortho appointment at 2:30 pm and she already checked-in.. And its already one hour and 20 minutes of waiting outside in the car and its 90* outside. Fix it or Ill take my business to better on-time service.

Wait times are atrocious, always waiting an hour or more for something as simple as picking up a retainer. The staff does not seem to not care either and makes it feel extremely unwelcoming. Please fix this problem now because its almost unbearable

I was very well welcomed at W. D. in Murrieta! I was surprised by the speed and efficiency in which I was served. Not to mention that everyone in the office was amiable and super attentive... I must also thank Ms. Cynthia, who showed a high level of professionalism in the service. Definitely, exceptional customer service!

First visit was ok but after that is was excuses after excuses why their surgeon wasnt coming in and push appointment dates way back. Its sad that ppl whom learn a profession to help others, dont help others. Never again!

In February 2021, I visited this office to start the journey of replacing broken Dentures. I attended all scheduled appointment, which included removing additional teeth, creating new molds for Dentures and finally a date was set to pick up my new dentures; March 27th, 2021 @ 8:30am. However, on Friday March 26th, 2021 I received a call stating I couldnt pick up my dentures. Reason #1: The Doctor who had done the work has left the office and no one knows when hell be returning and only that doctor can release my dentures. Reason #2: The dentures are not completed yet. At this point, the final instructions given me are DONT CALL US, WELL CALL YOU.Here I went to Western Dental Murrieta to improve my smile, but now Im left with a worsen smile, with no end in site and Im schedule to return to the Boardroom (My Employer) on April 5th.I paid my full co-payment (Cash/Debit) and my insurer has paid the remaining cost and here I am not able to collect my Dentures.People, dont visit this office. They started out trying to say my insurance didnt cover much of the work. I was initially given an out of pocket cost of $2496, but I had to communicate to this office, I stay on top of these matters and had already spoken with my insurer (Delta). Afterwards, my out of pocket cost was reduced to $810. This office staff cares about collecting a paycheck only. They have no empathy or sympathy for those who walk through that door. This office has left me disfigured more so than when I initially visited this office and no one has offered a solution as to receiving my PAID IN FULL product. So here I am on this Monday morning, March 29th, prepping for a 9:15am appointment with legal. Were all amazed at this conduct to the point I want to believe this is a prank, but its not. Its the reality of a dental office who can care less about me or my smile and the psychological effect this has on me at present.Save yourselves the trouble people. Select a dental office that cares about you more then they care about collecting a paycheck or making a profit. This story will be continued at a later date.CONTINUED REVIEW ON 4/30/21After speaking with the office manager about the matters noted above, she declared this a miscommunication episode. However; my follow-up appointment was immediately set, with zero wait time. I finally received my finished product and the compliments about my new smile have been pouring in since the work was completed. Bottom line; my particular Doctor (Dentist) was called to the Temecula office for whatever reason. The Murietta office was unable to set future appointments with that doctor until they themselves obtained an idea as to when that Doctor would be returning. Unfortunately, the patient(s) was left waiting with incomplete dental work, which worsened the condition, with no idea when an appointment could be set to complete the work. The office staff initially had an oh well attitude, which is always unacceptable. Im paid very well for what I do for a living, because I love what I do. Due to that fact of loving what I do, the income, promotions and career recognitions came along easily and rapidly. I would hope this office would empathize and sympathize more to the conditions patients are experiencing versus waiting on a paycheck. That in itself would improve conditions in this office and increase profits along the way. I appreciate the work of the dentist, but Im sure Ill not be returning. Whomever a consumer pays money to for services; that business or person(s) now works for that individual. This office had an attitude of you need us, we dont need you is my opinion. Its up to you (the consumer) to form your own opinion about this location by experiencing them yourselves and/or summing up an opinion by reading reviews . Good luck

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst experience I have had at a dentist ever. They tried to get me to pay above and beyond on things that should have been covered by my insurance, then tried to tell me I signed off on them to have them done and agreed to pricing I had never seen... then wanted me to use their “payment options” to get the work done. All this after waiting MONTHS to have a root canal. Oh and they forgot to give me antibiotics after my root canal so now I’m going to my dr to get antibiotics for an infection that could have easily been prevented if they had of just done things right from the get go. Thanks for nothing. I’ll never be back. Don’t waist your time or money here.

Im not sure how good the dentists are exactly, but I do know they wasted 2 hours of my day and were pretty unapologetic about it. Let me explain: I scheduled an appointment online because I was experiencing tooth pain. During the online scheduling process, it asks you if youd like a free braces consultation, so I agreed to the consultation. My braces consultation was scheduled for 2:30, and my appointment for my tooth pain was at 3:30. I showed up to the appointment at 2:15, filled out the paperwork and was asked to wait either in my car or outside until they call me. I was waiting for an 1 hour and 10 minutes until I got a text to come in. I then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes while they cleaned the chair. By the time the braces consultation starts its 4:00 (1.5 hours past my consultation time and 30 minutes past the appointment for my ACTUAL problem). The consultation took about 10 minutes, after which I was escorted back to the lobby. At this point they started trying to schedule another appointment for me to address my problems. I was confused and explained that THIS appointment was supposed to be to address my problems. The lady then told me that she wasnt aware of that, and the office was now in the process of closing for the day (they close at 4:30 on Saturday). So she scheduled me for the following Wednesday, essentially giving me the pleasure of dealing with my tooth pain for an additional 4 more days. Needless to say, it wasnt a good experience and, not that it would help alleviate the pain Im feeling in regards to my teeth, but the lady didnt even apologise for the misunderstanding.Update 10/21/2020Today is the date of my rescheduled appointment but before I go to that at 3:30, my wife had an appointment at 12:30. We arrive at the office at 12:15 to fill out the paperwork again. Upon receipt of the paperwork, my wife is told that they are ABOUT TO GO TO LUNCH, and that she will have to come back at 3:00. What is going on here? So many questions. Why would they schedule appointments at 12:30 knowing their lunch is around that time? Why would she need to come back a 3:00 Instead of immediately after their lunch is finished. Im really confounded by their scheduling practices at this point. I know they have a lot of good reviews, but based on my experiences so far I couldnt recommend them less. They are 0 for 2... Well see what happens wheny wife goes to her appointment at 3:00 and I go to mine at 3:30. I dont anticipate an experience positive enough to get the sour taste out of my mouth... Pun intended.

This is thw worst dentist facility ever.... they dont answer on their phone and never call back. They only care about making money they know ahead of time that your insurance will not cover the service request but they do not give you the right information, and after they bill you with a huge amount. Not honest people. Find another dentist office

Cristina, Emma &Dr.Li, all three of them are super kind & really put effort into their patients. They really pay attention to ones needs and if there’s anything bothering them, they try their hardest to help. They also have very good communication skills!

Not even worthy of one star. They filled the same tooth 8 times which resulted in an astounding 14 visits in two months. At one point during one of my many procedures the dentist and assistant had a “dance break” while working on my tooth. The next day the filling broke off. I began having unbearable pain that would leave me without sleep for days. I practically had to get a dental license for me to get them to open up my tooth to check if it was infected. They proceeded to drill a hole in my tooth, kill the root, and leave an open hole in my molar for 6 months. Expecting me to come in WEEKLY to get a temporary puddy filling. FINALLY my root canal got approved, and a day before my appointment I found out that the specialist wouldn’t be in for another MONTH. The next day that same tooth cracked in half, down to the root. And now I have to get the TOOTH PULLED OUT, and will have to pay $4000+ for a implant. This dentist cares about filling their pockets with multiple visits, unnecessary x rays, and creating seemingly intentional mistakes so they can fill their pockets. This place is disgusting and shouldn’t be allowed to work on humans.

Great place, everyone here is very kind and professional. Christina and Emma are great at what they do, they always make me feel comfortable. My appointments are always on time, quick and so far I am very pleased with their orthodontics services. I would definitely recommend this location.

Daisy Elizarraraz is a professional thief. She is all about her commission. She is quick to have your credit run with care credit so she can get paid. She will max out that dollar amount and charge you extra on top of it so you pay out of pocket. I went to other 3 other clinics and they all told me i paid an extra $900 more than what they would of charged me. Filing a dispute with care credit will not work, since Western Dental gets them accounts, so they would lose money. Care Credit doesnt care about you. They care about the money they make off Western Dental. Make you use your bank, your credit card because they will side with you, their customer. Dont make the mistake if you decide to go to this rip off. Ill probably get an owner response which its actually their marketing department, but they will do nothing.

Dr. Leila is so AWESOME! I just love her to death! Mind you, I am in my mid 50’s and all the Dentist I have gone to has never sat with me for 2+ hours and explained everything that needed to be done to my teeth and why it needed to be done! She explained all cost and did not push me to get started on my dental work that need done ASAP just love her 💕🙏🏻 Thank God there are dentist like her in this world! 💕💕😉

I’ve been going to Western Dental for almost 2 years and it has been a great experience. They’ve guided me through the process with braces and have been so helpful. Anna, Emma, and Christina were the sweetest and always were cautious with what they were doing. They put an unbelievable about of care into what they do and always did the best for me when I was in. Dr. Li was the same way. He always talked to me about changes and things we could do to help get the best results. Their entire team always made sure I was comfortable and I really appreciate all that was done for me.

Western Dental is a great place to go to. I have been going for 3 years and the employees have been nothing but kind to me. Christina and Emma have been working with my braces every time I come in. They always have a smile on their faces and make conversations with me. They are great and so is Western Dental.

Worst experience EVER. I went in for 3 cavities to be filled. After 2 areas numbed the dentist started to work on the wrong tooth. When she went to the other side of my mouth she went to an area that had no novocain. No one was on the same page. No communication. A lot of pain. Thank goodness i left before any more damage was done. GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.....

I have had Dr. Shari many times over the past couple of years. He is amazing! I have had and continue to have a lot of dental work done. He is gentle in his touch. Especially those darn shots. My visit was 4 hours. However I knew I would be spending a good portion of my day there due to the extensive work I need. Everyone from the front office, the hygienist, the assistants and the dentist are absolutely wonderful. They took the time to explain different options and took my concerns and budget into account when making my treatment plan. I look forward to finishing my work very soon.

Manager is unresponsive on an issue with partial implants. We were told to get the partials by the dentist which never worked for us. The manager has now told me on 3 different occasion that she will call me back after refusing to take the partials back. The manager here is the worst, she is lazy and unwilling to deal with customers issues. Be aware! Will never go back!

Dr. Li, Christina, Ana, Emma at Murrieta western dental are excellent. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Their work is very professional and I’m very happy with my straight teeth. They will be missed when my braces come off.

I have a great fear of dental work, as such I had not been seen in over 10 years and had several cavities and a few root canals. I went to western dental because they are local, I wish I would have listened to the reviews! They are ONLY after your wallet, I am a staunch Republican, as such I believe strongly in private enterprise and have absolutely no quarrels with a company capitalizing off my poor dental care. That being said, Western dental uses manipulation tactics, scare tactics and overly complicated “contracts” to ensure you you return to only their company. When asked about lower end fillings (not porcelain) they would get “confused” and would delay/stop my treatment for an hour and a half while the billing department “researched” what it would cost me. I finally left the office and told them to call me when they figured out the pricing. They never called me, however, two days later a debt collection agency began calling me 4 to 6 times a day saying I owed western dental $375.00 plus a $25 late fee for the “contract” I had “agreed to.” It put a large ding on my credit.After calling supervisors with the company and many many phone calls I was able to explain that I did not owe any money, that NO work was done. The company is ran by dunces! When it was all said and done, It took me 4 appointments, countless hours of waiting, thousands of phone calls, only to get my teeth cleaned.I would rather take the gamble and visit a Tijuana Mexico dentist then go back to this hell hole.That being said, it was clean and the staff was nice (but not helpful).

Your Billing department is a nightmare. South America really western Dental care, care really you sold us on a credit care you said was approved at time of service then was not . Trying to get 700,00 dollars for a cleaning oh now the late fees i could barely understand the people who were expecting me to pay out of county and told no receipt upon payment hours on the phone you guys are a scam and other reviews have proven that. I would rather have dentures. Beware consumers.

Dr Ram and Josefina and Maria were wonderful. My 5yr old loved them. They were fast and made her smile and feel relaxed while having her cavities filled.

I was a little a skeptical about going to this office. I viewed as other offices and really did not want to become a part of they. My first visit was Awesome and welcoming so much I could not wait until my next. On my second visit it had improved and there was loving attitudes all around me. I felt like I belong there the whole time. I know that it is a place of business but I felt so welcoming that when it was time for me to leave I was missing the smiling faces.

Vera, the hygienist was very professional, knowledgeable, patient and kind especially since I havent had it done in years. It was an eye opening experience for me and thank goodness that she was patient and explaining everything to me!! 😁

First appointment was also my last.Verrrry long wait times. LOTS of people crammed into the waiting room then churned through the treatment area. It strikes me as the Jiffy Lube of dentistry.My first appointment, I waited nearly an hour just to be called back. Once my name was called, I was taken to get a full set of x-rays. Once those were done I was brought back to the treatment area and seated in the dentists chair to wait. And wait. And wait. That was the LAST time I saw or heard from anyone. I waited a full hour before finally walking out.I was the ONLY PATIENT in the entire treatment area. I was literally dumped off in the chair and forgotten aboutEveryone except the front desk staff had GONE TO LUNCH. How do I know this? Because I listened to the employees discuss going to lunch with each other (among other things) and watched them leave one by one. Until there were none. I got up twice just to look around for anyone. Nope. Nobody. I got up a third time after an hour to find the restroom. I left the restroom and kept on walking. Nobody noticed. Nobody called to find out where their ONLY patient went. In the hour I sat there, no one ever came to check on me, no one came to tell me they were running late. No one asked if Id like to reschedule... because nobody gives two sh*ts about the patients time. I wrote a letter to their corporate office detailing my experience. Havent heard back since. Not going to hold my breath either.

Christina was very gentle with my braces and was always making sure i was ok whenever she was doing something that could hurt.

Dr. Shay is the best. My teeth have been cracking for many years. I am a small business owner & love to meet people. I would smile, however, with my mouth closed. Now I can give a big smile with my teeth showing. I am so proud of them. Thank you Dr. Shay.
