I moved here a couple months ago for school. Nice place to live.
Mill Pond is great, I like my apartment and the dog park. There is alot of changes going on with the new company and it seems like they care about the tenants.
I like Mill Pond. have only had positive experiences with management, the office folks and maintenance. They’re great. Any issue I’ve had was quickly taken care of and they are easy to communicate with.
Staff has always been super fast and helpful with issues we have had(even one in the late evening). Its extremely quiet living here. Best apartment complex Ive lived at in the last 10 years for sure. Also for the size of the place, rent prices are pretty great.
Great place to live!! The environment is great the other residents are super nice and the noise is very minimum to non. Its a very homey environment.
Cheap rent! Great apartments (spacious and nicely built). Its quiet here.
Very clean, well-maintained facility. Any time I have needed work/assistance, theyve been very quick to respond.
Don’t get much sleep cause you hear everything the tenant above is doing There is no sound proofing so you hear their dishwasher, garbage disposal, vacuum, bed at night and even everyday walking across the floor. Make sure you live on the 3 rd floor
Spacious apartments, and really friendly staff .Apartments are also really nice. They let us paint. We love our third floor balcony and feel safe with the building locked, outside of our apartment. Kitchen is way cramped but overall a really great apartment for our little family .
These apartments arent too bad. The washer and dryers are in their own room and shared among all residents in the building. The balconies are nice to have and the area isnt bad. However, there was an increasment in renting price, and there does seem to be an inability to keep a consistent price range for the water measurements. Ours keeps jumping between $40 to around $125. (For example, June would be $42, and July would be $124.) Our usage has been pretty much the same each time. They have told us that measurements previously were read wrong and thats why there was a jump, but now its back to what it was (being $40ish, which was considered read incorrectly) before so thats a little confusing. In addition, we have renewed our lease so this is my second time around. I loved Chad and Samantha, they were wonderful people and even though the rent is $853 for us with water/sewage, electric, and laundry usage all separate, the leasing office members were a good selling point here. The office team has changed though, and now that selling point is gone for me. These apartments arent bad, but they are pricey given rent and everything else. I also hate the office hours now. Being open only Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am until 5pm make things extremely difficult with getting packages and having things organized. For me I get an hour length of time to quickly leave work and hope I make it to the office in time to collect my packages. I really, really hate this.I wont say I dont suggest moving in, because these are okay apartments. But I can assure that I will be moving out when my lease is done. I mainly just dont like the inconvenient office hours and the overall price to live here.
I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This was the worst place I have ever lived. The staff regularly loose and misplace documents, freely share private information about other residents and do not follow through on the lease requirements in regards to animals, drug usage, residents paying rent, property safety and general management. The property was missing large portions of siding during much of the winter and spring, there are huge pot holes in the parking lot, and several times of damage to cars in the parking lot by residents. The staff leaves randomly during the day, is known to skip/forget about set appointments and have told residents that it is not their job to care about their safety. Many people do not pick up after their animals and you can hear everything your neighbors in all directions are doing. The security doors are propped open almost all the time so anyone has access to the building. The property also sought to increase rent by almost $100 a month with a new lease with no improvements to the facilities and new amenities. Im glad some people have enjoyed their time here, but this would not be a place a recommend for safety or comfort.
Not the newest apartment complex in Muncie, but one of most expertly managed and maintained in town. Individual restricted-access, three-floor buildings house multiple two-bedroom apartments, with access to a clean laundry room in each building. Outside patios or decks are an nice extra with each apartment.
Mill Pond is an apartment complex in a great area of town. The apartments are spacious for the most part, but the kitchen is really cramped...like cramped that no more than 1 person can really function in there at a time. But the rooms are great, bathroom is fine, closets are huge. The maintenance staff is excellent. Chad is a readily available guy who will go out of his way to make sure his patrons are taken care of. Extremely kind, will give you his number, call him any time of day. I really appreciated that in my two-year stay.Management is...okay. They were friendly getting me in the apartment, but it was a huge hassle getting out. They dont respond to messages left on the phone and dont answer the phone during business hours. Communication struggles are tough, and Ive been moved out for two months and still havent received a closing statement.Mill Pond is a good apartment complex that has some work to do in their front office as far as making sure patrons feel valued. They were a five-star until the moveout process happened, and my perspective on Mill Pond dipped significantly. Id recommend it as a decent college/graduate school apartment. Nicer than most apartments in Muncie, but not so pricey that its not affordable.
Horrible Management(!) Apartments are very over priced.. and doesnt even have washer in dryer inside your apartment! Would not recommend to anyone
I wish there was an elevator. But I enjoy spending time with my family
Very good communication and maintenance has very rapid response time, even on weekends.I would have gave 5 stars except for one reason and that is every lease you renew the rent raises a lot Last time it was time to renew lease it was a 30.00 more a month.
Management was the best Ive had in my 5+ years of renting. Sherine is wonderful, and was always easy to reach out to, responded to emails on weekends, and was very professional in helping resolve a dispute between my me and my neighbor The apartments were very clean and well maintained, the only issue I ever had was a leaky toilet flap, causing it to trickle water. Chad came by within 24 hours and replaced it, no questions asked, no going cheap, just doing the job right. Air filters replaced regularly with proper warning beforehand. Never had issues with anyone entering my apartment without my consent. The apartments were very well priced for the square footage, and well insulated - I used very little heat in the winter.Plenty of parking, my buildings lot was never more than 70% full. Coin-operated laundry machines in each building (12 apartments per building), two washers and two dryers (they both worked well, which I cannot say for many places). One key to get in the building, another to get in the apartment, so it was very secure, I never felt otherwise. The parking lots were plowed pretty early in the morning, which was nice when I left for class in the morning. There are some families living here, so although it was usually very quiet, there was occasional noise from kids running around, but never anything worth complaining about. The location has its pros and cons.Pros: Its walking distance to a Walmart, Lowes, Panda Express, Taco Bell, Steak n Shake, and Subway, which is really nice, and is right off McGalliard so it doesnt take long to get where youre going (minimal road noise too, which surprised me). Theres a pond on site so you can fish, if thats your thing.Cons: If youre a student and want to go out, youre on the edge of town - this is my biggest/only real reason for not resigning. Only two ways in/out, but construction is now done on Morrison, so that shouldnt be a problem anymore. Keller Rd can flood during heavy rains, but those are few and far between.Long story short, theyre great apartments, have a very good price per foot, fantastic management, very quiet, no security deposit (if my memory serves me correctly). If the location fits your needs, theres no reason not to live here.
Cool apartments that allow large dogs. People are very friendly.
