Couldnt be happier with our decision to stay in Forest Oaks Apartments! Great apartments for the price and location. Quite. Safe. Great amenities. Management goes up and beyond, especially Mindi in the leasing office. You wont be disappointed.

Tyler with Maintenance is always hustling to get the units ready for move in and gets things repaired for tenants very quickly and management is always keeping up to date with current tenants and tenants for move in. They work very well as a team which keeps everything running smoothly for everyone. Keep it up yall.

I lived in two different units at Forest Oaks over the course of 4 years. The apartments are in great shape and are very well-maintained. I only had a couple of minor maintenance requests over the years, but the response from the maintenance team was always fast and effective. The common spaces (office, pool, fitness center) are updated and very well-maintained. Management does an excellent job of maintaining the building and grounds.The community is pleasant and quiet and I never had any complaints about my neighbors next to or below me.Above all, the management is great to work with. They are always very friendly and accommodating. All questions and requests were handled very quickly and professionally. In my experience, this is what sets Forest Oaks apart from other good apartments.I highly recommend!

Forest Oaks has been a great place to live as a young professional in Muncie. It is a safe, quiet, and friendly community. Maintenance workers and property staff are kind and seek opportunities to assist you in any ways needed. I chose Forest Oaks because the apartments are well-kept, reasonably priced, have in-house washer/dryer units, and you are able to have pets. I have lived in this complex for about a year and a half and have been very happy with my decision. Neighbors are friendly and I look forward to continuing to live in this community for a while.

I lived at Forest Oaks for 3 years. Its a great place to live with well kept units, good amenities, and a great environment that is family and pet friendly. I only had one maintenance issue over the 3 years that was fixed promptly and the management team is always helpful and pleasant to work with. I even recommended Forest Oaks to 4 friends and coworkers who have all moved in. I highly recommend living here.

We have lived in Forest Oaks since 2016 and we have not had any issues. The staff is friendly and helpful when needed. Brian and Mindi are wonderful managers and always help us out with any questions we have. Overall, I would recommend this complex to anybody who is looking for a safe, quiet place. For the cost of the apartment, they are very spacious and good quality. Maintenance is very responsive and deals with concerns in a timely manner.

I just signed a lease for my 3rd year at Forest Oaks. I have been very happy with my time here. I always feel safe here, which was the most important thing for me. The staff is superb and Im so thankful for them! In my experience, it is a very quiet environment. It is family and pet friendly. The only things that could be improved are ground maintenance and maintenance in general. But even still, my experience with maintence has been average to above average!

This complex is nice but Ive had multiple issues within the time Ive stayed here. I live in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom:-the AC was broken on and off all summer long-the pool was closed off for an extended time during the summer-our apartment wasnt fully ready to move in when they let us move in (still fixing both bathrooms, in which they didnt finish EITHER)-the managers hardly in her office when shes supposed to be-the microwave was broken when we moved inThe service received from this complex is not the greatest, and I highly suggest renting elsewhere. Also, not pet friendly even though it is. Dogs are not welcomed.

First off I would like to say WOW, just wow! I am a business executive that travels A LOT. When I came to Muncie, I was a little dismayed at the apartments I was finding for rent, that is, until I stumbled on Forest Oaks Apartments.The staff was great to work with. When I first arrived, I must admit, I was tired and cranky. The staff was so nice, relaxed and helpful that I felt ten times better by the time my keys were handed over to me.When I got to my apartment I was amazed. My apartment looked as if I was walking into a newly built house. Everything was fresh/crisp. It felt like home.The grounds are very well kept. The amenities (there are many) are always clean. I loved swimming in the pool. It was so refreshing. It was only closed once last summer for a week because management was having a leak fixed and the pool painted a wonderful blue color at the same time. It was quickly back up and I hardly noticed!The majority of the tenants are working professionals like myself. Everyone was very nice to me, which I loved. I felt very safe there as well.Maintenance issues are tended to very quickly. I hardly ever have to wait to get something fixed. If I do have to wait, its never for very long.My recommendation: If you are going to Muncie, IN and need a place to stay, check out Forest Oaks first! I know for a fact that no one else compares. Trust me, I looked at them all.

I moved in to Forest Oaks late July 2017. Having rented at other complexes in other states, the service and community at Forest Oaks has been wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and receptive to phone calls and emails and is always available in the office. If there is a maintaence need, they get back to you extremely fast and are very helpful and friendly. The facility is constantly being updated and provides a safe community. For someone who is completing a medical residency, they have a noise policy that keeps the community nice and quiet so noise is never an issue. As per being animal friendly, Forest Oaks is EXTREEMLY PET FRIENDLY.To Ms. Thorpe who stated that Forest Oaks is not pet friendly: As someone who lives in the same building as Ms. Thorpe and family, and constantly hears their dog barking at all hours of the day and night... Forest Oaks has a barking/noise pet policy in the lease agreement that all renters must abide by. There are PLENTY of animals who live in the facility, are friendly, and are well trained and behaved. It is also a great place to walk pets as there is also a dog park within walking distance right down the road.Overall, it is a great safe place to live. :)

I moved here almost a year ago when I came back to Indiana after living on the east coast for many years. I could not be happier with the time Ive spent here. Moving here from Massachusetts, without having seen the apartments in person, I was a little nervous about how things would work out. But everything about my experience here has been positive; I honestly cant think of one negative thing to say about this place. Mindi has been super helpful from even before I moved in. I have only had a few minor maintenance requests, but they have always been dealt with VERY promptly. Everything is clean & well-maintained. Its a quiet, friendly place. Im moving to a new city soon for work, & Ill really miss Forest Oaks. I can only hope my next experience will be as awesome as the one Ive had here!

I have been a resident of Forest Oaks for the past 2 years now, I don’t know if there is a better apartment complex in Muncie that offers what they do. Between the pool, the gym, the quite neighborhood it sits in, the staff being helpful with whatever situation presents itself and the central location to and from anywhere in Muncie in minutes you cannot go wrong with Forest Oaks. It was very well kept up all year long. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a great, affordable place in Muncie.

We have had a great experience here. Mindi is one of the best apartment managers I have ever had the pleasure of leasing from. She is always willing to help in anyway she can and makes the rental experience not seem so overwhelming. I highly recommend living here and if we were staying in Muncie we would continue to live here.

I lived at Forest Oaks from 2018-2019, it was a pretty darn nice place. I moved to Muncie suddenly and had several other places picked out online to live, and when I finally saw them in person they were dumps and in trashy areas that werent reflected on their websites. Drove by Forest Oaks and they were very clean looking and nice house style units that were inviting instead of a big complex, turned out to be the best choice I made. Not sure if I got lucky with neighbors, but I never heard any of them. Theres several other apartment complexes nearby, they posed no problems for me. The grounds were always clean, apartment was in good shape, bugs werent a problem. The two times I had service requests they were taken care of pretty quick, management is super cool about everything and treats you like a real person. I always got to park almost right in front of my door, and theres always enough spots, just may not be directly in front of your unit. Muncie is not big enough that the location matters if you have a car, but theres a bus stop right by the area. I go to bed early and NEVER had a problem with noise, I was extremely glad for that. Right next to a Walmart for quick needs and McGalliard, one of the main roads in the city. Im struggling to think of complaints honestly. Would definitely recommend, easily one of the nicest places in Muncie.

I moved into Forest Oaks back in May after looking at several complexes when leaving Chicago for a new job. Right off the bat, the management team was friendly and helpful in assisting me with finding an apartment that fit my needs.I have lived in Forest Oaks for the last 7 months and enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately I am leaving because of a new employment opportunity in the D.C. area.Brian is hands down the best apartment property manager that I have had the pleasure of working with and Mindi has been great too and is very helpful! The maintenance staff is very friendly and always willing to assist when needed.If I wasnt leaving for a new job, I would love to stay and continue living here. I would highly suggest it to anyone who is looking for a new place to stay in Muncie.Keep up the good work guys!
